We had a sushi set for two. The lunch was so good and delicious.

Great atmosphere, unfortunately quite hidden on Waldplatz. I've been here several times and have never been disappointed. The service is extremely friendly, but we had to wait a bit longer for our bill. The food is also very tasty, and the lunch menu is very reasonably priced. Otherwise, you have to pay a bit more, but it's worth it. It's definitely worth a recommendation.

The food was incredibly delicious, and the ingredients were perfectly balanced. The food and drinks were served in just five minutes. We'd love to come back and try more of the menu.

We ordered on Sunday. The food arrived within the stated time. But we weren't impressed. I don't want the very end of the fish on my single grilled eel nigiri, mostly skin. That would be no fun. The scallops should trigger an explosion of flavor in the mouth, and I missed that, too. I enjoyed it better when Sona still served butterfish, scallops, and eel.

I've been raving about this restaurant for three years now. The dishes are exceptionally well-balanced in flavor; it couldn't be better. If you haven't been here, it's your own fault. I highly recommend it! Keep up the good work, thank you.🙏🙂

The service was fast and the food was quite tasty. A good mix of options, but not "forcing everything on the table." The ambiance is a matter of taste; it's difficult for me; it's too much of a thoroughfare, and the interior is simple, but OK.

I made a reservation two weeks in advance because it's hard to spontaneously get tables with 5 of us. This reservation worked without any problems and the atmosphere can be seen not only on Instagram. But it's not just the interior design that speaks for a cozy meal, but also the food itself. One of my friends was positively surprised by the large selection of vegan dishes (unfortunately we're not used to that in small towns). We had 3 starters and hot dishes. We will try the sushi next time we visit Leipzig.

Delicious Asian restaurant in a good location. Places are limited, but it's definitely worth making a reservation for the evening. There is a large selection of food including vegetarian/vegan options. The prices and portions are okay. One star deducted for the ambience. It is quite narrow and sometimes seems hectic. It's not something to linger on for long. Definitely recommended for a quick meal break, also for the friendly team!

A very great restaurant, the sushi there is so delicious, highly recommended! The waitress was very nice and the food arrived quickly. However, the restaurant is quite small and the tables are very close to each other, so you sit arm on arm with your neighbor. We really enjoy ordering there and were there for the first time yesterday, it's definitely worth a visit ☺️

Take a perfectly mixed rum cocktail (Vacay). Then a duck dish (What the Duck). And finally a wonderful alcoholic “coffee” (Phin Martini). And you get a gastronomic experience that exceeds your pre-informed expectations! [And by the way, you will be somewhat reconciled if you previously made the mistake of letting yourself be "told" something about the origins of life at the art power plant for €21 per person.]

With high expectations based on the glowing reviews, my girlfriend and I decided to have dinner here, sharing two appetizers, each ordering a main course, and rounding off the evening with a shared dessert. The appetizers set a strong start—while the summer rolls were a total hit, perfectly balanced in flavor and paired with an outstanding dipping sauce, the Pan Bao left us feeling a bit underwhelmed. It lacked that extra punch to make it memorable. For the mains, my Udon noodles with chicken were quite enjoyable. A slightly more generous portion of chicken would have been ideal, and the cucumbers could have used a bit more marination to enhance their depth. On the other hand, my girlfriend’s sweet and sour dish was an absolute winner, packed with bold, satisfying flavors. The dessert—Monchies with vanilla ice cream and red berries—wrapped things up on a high note, offering a well-rounded, comforting finish. Service was excellent—attentive yet unobtrusive, exactly how you want it. The atmosphere was decent, though not the most comfortable for a long, leisurely dinner. Some seating was a bit awkward, and with the frequent opening of doors for takeout orders, an occasional cold draft made its way inside, which wasn’t ideal. From a culinary perspective, this place is absolutely worth a visit. While I wouldn’t necessarily pick it for a romantic dinner, we’ll definitely be coming back for another round.

Unfortunately we cannot agree with the positive reviews. We waited 40 minutes until we could order drinks and then we waited a while for the food. The sushi platter for two was average in taste, not comparable to other restaurants. There was no bill when we paid, which is why we only realized later that our €10 Neo Taste deal had not been deducted by the waitress as discussed. What a shame!

The sushi and summer roll were delicious, but the "Hey Chick" bowl lacked flavor; there was a little sauce from the marinated meat, but it wasn't enough for a whole bowl.

Food was generally good. My chicken dish felt reheated from frozen and I left the chicken and ate the rice, veg and curry which were great.

Apart from the fact that we waited about an hour for the food, it was very tasty overall, but the prices for the starters were too expensive. The price for the main course was quite reasonable. We paid around €75 for three people, which is an okay price. Overall it was quite okay. 😊😮‍💨

The dishes are consistently amazing.

We waited an hour and a half for our food even though the location is only 20 minutes away from us. My girlfriend and I had both ordered Thai curry, but the smell and taste were extremely unpleasant. Since we are both big fans of Thai curry and have had it in many different places, we know the quality wasn't good this time.

I was in Leipzig for a concert, the concert hall is right next to the restaurant. This makes it a full hut. But the waiters were still very friendly and always attentive to the guests. We were served our food very lovingly and deliciously prepared. We'll definitely come by more often now!

Very well attended, be sure to reserve and bring plenty of time. If you don't have any intolerances and can eat the food as directed, it's ok. Only special requests are responded to in a rather inflexible manner. This is the first Asian where this has happened to me. So far, despite my soy intolerance, I have always been treated to delicious food. Unfortunately we were a.G. closed streets in the city center and a subsequent visit to the cabaret under time pressure. Unfortunately, this was not taken into account by the service. We waited 45' for our food. If you have a voucher booklet, you should note that you can only redeem 1 voucher (2 for the price of 1) per table, no matter how many people. This has never happened to us anywhere before. We won't be coming back.

Das *Vacay* ist ein echter Tipp für alle, die vietnamesische Küche lieben! Besonders begeistert hat uns die hausgemachte Sojasauce, die den Gerichten einen besonderen Geschmack verleiht. Die Gyozas waren unglaublich lecker, und auch das Sushi war frisch und sehr gut zubereitet. Den vietnamesischen Eiskaffee fand ich auch richtig spitze. Die Einrichtung ist stilvoll und einladend, und der Service war super freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Ein toller Ort, um mal abzuschalten und richtig gut zu essen!g

An absolute recommendation. We got to know the restaurant thanks to the “Eat the World” tour Waldstrassenviertel and went there again the next day. Away from the center, but quickly accessible by tram, it's definitely worth eating here. Next time I come to Leibzig, I will definitely eat there again.

The small star deduction for the ambience is because if you look closely you can see unclean spots in the corners here and there. Super tasty food and at decent prices. The service was simply “sugar”. The homemade lemonade was completely different and really good. We go out to eat with a group of girls once a month and usually to new restaurants... but we will come here at least once more.

The menu creations are unusual, which I think is really great. This is where people got creative. However, the preparation seemed a bit imprecise and less balanced, as I expected. For example, the meat was really tough, there was a lack of acidity in the entire meal and the noodles were a bit overcooked. The people there were nice, but the service could be better. We had to draw attention to ourselves several times and waited 20 minutes for a coke. That was a shame.

We have ordered veggie sushi here several times and I also ate in the restaurant once. The food has always been great and we will continue to order here. In the restaurant the service was nice and the decor is also nice. It's just a little too tight for me.

We ordered 3 main courses and 2 starters. Except for the summer rolls, which were delicious, the food was really very bad. Everything tasted like ready-made food. That was really super disappointing. At least the food arrived warm and the delivery person was nice. In retrospect, we would have liked to have spent our money somewhere else.

Delicious food, good drinks and very courteous service. I wanted to swap out the noodles for rice in one dish. The waiter told me that in principle it is possible, but the rest of the dish, especially the sauce, harmonizes perfectly with the pasta and the rice absorbs the sauce differently and therefore the dish will taste different. That convinced me and I took the noodles, even though I don't like eating noodles. But it was perfect, when the dish came and I tried it I was immediately aware of what the waiter meant. It shows that thought is given to the dishes and the presentation and that the people who work here know about it. We will come again. Thank you for the lovely evening.
