Aufmerksamer, sehr freundlicher Service! „Seid ihr zum ersten Mal hier? Kennt ihr die indische Küche? Habt ihr Fragen?“ Wir werden wiederkommen, es war einfach köstlich ❤️

So eine liebe Kellnerin!! Es hat köstlich geschmeckt und die Portionen waren auch ordentlich groß! Wir kommen wieder!

Erstmal: Von "authentisch indisch" kann man hier nicht sprechen. Das ist was anderes. Eher Britisch-Indisch. Was jedoch völlig OK ist! Das Essen ist toll! Ich hatte das Malabar Curry - was nicht so 0815 gewürzt war - das war schon was besonderes. Hat mir wirklich sehr lecker geschmeckt! Die Dame, die mich bedient hat, während ich das Essen zum abholen bestellte, war außergewöhnlich freundlich. Ich bekam sogar ein Bier aufs Haus während der Wartezeit. Das ist nicht überall so! Zwei Kritikpunkte habe ich jedoch: - Es war wirklich viel zu wenig Reis - für die Menge der Sauce. Die Hälfte war noch übrig, als der Reis bereits alle war. - Die Menge an Hähnchen war auch wirklich wenig. Da sollte mehr sein. Beides vor allem für den, relativ teuren Preis. Ansonsten - ich würde wiederkommen!

Leckere indische Küche. Freundlicher und schneller Service

Von der Begrüßung bis zum letzten Bissen alles top👌ein Restaurant in dem man sich absolut wohl fühlt. Ob es die sehr gute Qualität der Speisen oder der aufmerksame sehr freundliche Service ist, es ist alles hervorragend 👍 🥇

Spontan in den Laden und wir waren begeistert. Super freundliches Personal, super leckeres frisches Essen und die Räumlichkeiten waren auch gemütlich. Gerne wieder!

Das Essen sehr gut, absolut authentisch. Wir waren zu viert da und es hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Beim Service gibt es auch keinen Grund etwas zu beanstanden, soll heißen wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll, aber die Bänke bzw. Stühle sind nicht dafür gedacht länger zu sitzen, was schade ist, da wir das Ambiente und die Stimmung sehr angenehm fanden und sonst bestimmt noch etwas länger geblieben wären um noch was zu trinken.

Coole Location. Wirkte zu Beginn etwas seltsam, ist aber wirklich zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns unser Essen empfehlen lassen und es wirklich genossen. Verdammt scharf aber lecker. Qualität absolut gegeben.

Super leckeres Essen und freundliches Personal. Die Chicken 65 Vorspeise ist köstlich. Ich hatte Chicken Madras, das sehr schmackhaft war und mit einem perfekten Naan-Brot serviert wurde. Absolut empfehlenswert und ich komme gerne wieder.

Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Besuch in diesem indischen Restaurant. Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker – besonders das Käse-Naan hat uns begeistert, frisch, fluffig und perfekt gewürzt. Auch die hausgemachten Limonaden waren eine tolle Ergänzung und angenehm erfrischend. Das Ambiente ist modern und stilvoll, wodurch man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Obwohl das Restaurant etwas abgelegen wirkt, ist es dennoch gut erreichbar und überraschend zentral gelegen. Ein großes Plus ist auch das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal, das den Besuch sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Wir waren an meinem Geburtstag mit Freunden in diesem Restaurant und hatten einen wirklich wunderbaren Abend. Das gesamte Team war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich – man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Zwar kam das Essen für zwei von uns etwas verspätet, aber das wurde mehr als nur wiedergutgemacht: Das Restaurant hat sich nicht nur entschuldigt, sondern uns zusätzlich Vorspeisen aufs Haus spendiert und am Ende auch noch Dessert. Das war wirklich eine sehr großzügige und liebe Geste. Für mich als Geburtstagskind gab es ebenfalls eine besondere Überraschung: Ein Dessert und sogar ein Geburtstagslied – das war ein richtig schöner Moment und hat den Abend perfekt gemacht. Das Essen war insgesamt sehr lecker und der Service einfach top. Man merkt, dass hier mit Herz gearbeitet wird. Ganz klar: 10 von 10! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Vielen lieben Dank für diesen besonderen Abend! 🎉

Das beste indische Restaurant in Bielefeld. Ich habe mittlerweile einen Großteil der Karte durch und fand jedes Gericht sehr lecker! Der Service ist super und wirklich schnell, ich komme jedes mal gerne wieder. Essen abzuholen ist auch möglich.

Understandably, the restaurant was busy, and the service seemed understaffed with only two people that evening. One more server would definitely help with the volume. Therefore, 8/10.

Yesterday, we went to Urban Masala with a couple of friends and had a fantastic evening. My chicken curry was outstanding – aromatic, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The other dishes at our table were also very well received. The prices are very fair and not at all exorbitant, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is friendly and attentive. All in all, a truly wonderful evening. We will definitely be back – highly recommended!

From traditional Indian cuisine to modern interpretations (e.g., Indian tacos), there's something for everyone on the menu. They even offer homemade soy chicken for vegans and vegetarians. So all the dishes can be ordered with vegan options. Highly recommended! The mango lassi and masala chai are also fantastic—and they have draft beer!! I'll definitely be back!

You feel like you've been transported straight from Bielefeld to India. The atmosphere, interior, and service are exceptionally good. Above all, the quality, freshness, and variety of the food and drinks (the mango lassi 😍) are particularly noteworthy. Urban Masala is a true gem in Bielefeld's Umgeld restaurant scene and a definite 10/10 ❤️

The shop was cozy and inviting, the service was very nice, but I didn't like the food at all, the rice tasted of nothing, the salad was lifeless with no dressing or anything, the chicken was just spicy, nothing else, and the sauce tasted weird. Despite that, I recommend everyone make their own experience.

THE HEALTHIEST FOOD If you happen to be in Bielefeld and fancy Indian food instead of just kebabs, I can recommend URBAN MASALA. For example, at NAMASTE MAHARAJA. What's so special about Indian food? Well, it's very light and digestible, and doesn't sit on your stomach like a brick. So, if you're looking for an alternative to McDonald's & Co. KG, URBAN MASALA is the place for you. Not only can you eat Indian food here, but the restaurant is designed to bring a touch of India to Bielefeld. The usual conditions that a good restaurant should have are also present here: good service - and if you have a dog 🐕 and don't want to leave it alone - no problem. Dogs 🐕 are allowed at URBAN MASALA. Finally, I have to make one urgent point! Eating out is great, but it's not essential to life. The only food that is essential to life is food that comes from the LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. Believe me, this is the most important food there is. Anyone who doesn't "eat" this food will think back with tears in their eyes to their time at URBAN NASALA, sitting in hell because they didn't accept the offer of the LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. Incredibly delicious with a lovely atmosphere

After the hefty price increase, the price-performance ratio is no longer right.

The food itself was very tasty, but many dishes come with a side salad. This sometimes consists of just two large lettuce leaves with a slice of cucumber and a cherry tomato. That could be fine, but without proper salad dressing, it's a bit impractical and could be described more as decoration. The curry was delicious, but the drink left me a bit puzzled. My neighbors had ordered 0.2-liter drinks and received the same glass as me, just a little less full (0.5 liters). Nevertheless, I paid the full price, which I find outrageous.

My absolute recommendation for authentic Indian food in Bielefeld. Super friendly service, who openly and warmly lets you in on the secrets of the menu. It couldn't be better. Thank you.

The food is incredibly delicious! The chicken in the butter chicken is incredibly tender, and the sauce is also perfectly cooked! The staff is excellent.

We ordered online. On a Sunday, it can take a bit longer, no problem. We live less than 5 minutes by car from the location. Two hours and 30 minutes past the stated delivery time, we were told on the phone: "The driver is on his way." That was a clear lie. When I said I would cancel my order after waiting any longer, I was told, "Sure, boss." We are customers and pay for the product offered. If the restaurant business isn't for the employees or owners of the store, they should find something else. Pure disappointment.

We ordered here via Uber Eats. Unfortunately, I have to say I was very disappointed. My garlic naan was forgotten, and I was told I'd get a refund via PayPal, but unfortunately, that hasn't happened yet. I also find it pretty cheeky to charge €4.90 or €5.90 for meat, only to end up with just four or five small pieces. It tasted okay, but nothing special.

Really very tasty food, I can confidently say that it is my favorite in Bielefeld when it comes to Indian cuisine. The naan in particular is probably the best I've personally had so far. The curries I've tried so far have all been very tasty, but all a little different and with the individual side dish/topping there should be something for everyone. The tandoor dishes could have a little more sauce and for (older) people or people who are perhaps there for the first time, the menu could be a little difficult to understand here and there. It could be helpful, for example, to describe Indian terms behind them in brackets in German. Of course, anyone can just ask or google it, I'm just speaking for my family members. Ultimately, it's about the food, which always delivers. I would also like to explicitly highlight the friendly lady who served us, really a very friendly, attentive and patient service, keep it up. We always like to come back.

The food was very tasty, the waitress was friendly. Unfortunately we found the food and drinks relatively too expensive. We also like to give tips. When paying by card you are forced to state directly how much you are giving. I don't know that so it was very unsympathetic. Then we'd rather do it the old way, pay by card and tip as much as we want in cash.

The perfect combination of tender chicken and a creamy, aromatic sauce that melted in your mouth. But it wasn't just the food that impressed me; the shop's interior is also a real eye-catcher. The lovingly designed atmosphere immediately creates a feeling of coziness and invites you to linger.☺️ I highly recommend Urban Masala!!! This definitely won't be my last visit! 😋👍🏼

The restaurant left us with mixed feelings. The waitress was friendly, but we had the feeling that she was very rushed and wanted to do everything quickly without really giving us any good advice. When the food came, the starters tasted good, but the spices were far too coarse - it would have been nicer if they had been ground rather than in big chunks that were right in your mouth. In addition, the main course was extremely spicy, but at the same time unsalted, which disturbed the balance in taste. Unfortunately, when we raised the issue of coarse spices, it was downplayed instead of taken seriously. Overall, a mixed experience - with a little more care with the spices and better advice, the restaurant could do much better.

The food was delicious, as always! The samosas are simply amazing, my favorite starter there. The staff are super friendly. However, there's one thing I don't like, and it was the same on my last visit. The wait between the starter and the main course is too long. You wait more than 30 minutes after the starter is already gone, and that's just too long. Otherwise, a great place :)

We had a lovely evening. The service and food were excellent. Unfortunately, the evening's bill was negative. Be aware that if you order a 0.5l soda, you'll also receive a 0.5l glass. We were told they were 0.5l glasses. This definitely wasn't. Comparison between wheat beer glass and soda glass failed.

Four of us ate there, and our expectations were exceeded! Starting with the super friendly waitress, who served us excellently from the very beginning. The food was fresh and authentic. I highly recommend the homemade garlic naan and the okra fries. All in all, a 5/5.

The food was beyond amazing. I've never had such good Indian food. The waitresses were very nice and double-checked my order. Splitting the bill went smoothly. It was just so loud that you could barely hear the person sitting across from you. There are no room dividers to block out the noise, and you sit very close to the people at the next table. The seat near the door was very cold. We'll definitely be back, but probably at a less busy time. 😊
