Unikat Café in Geislingen an der Steige

This cafe is my favorite, I can't say anything about it, it's just fire and awesome.

Cozy cafe/bistro. Food tastes delicious. Price performance completely ok.

Great restaurant, very nice and flexible service, I wanted to order something to take away at breakfast time that was actually only available for lunch, everything was made possible in the end, TOP!! Gladly again!!

The absolute hammer. Was here for lunch today and decided on the promotion (Friday) for €10. Burger with wedges and drink. The taste is perfect, the burgers are not soaked in fat and the wedges are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It couldn't be better ♥️

Delicious drinks and the food is also okay, unfortunately the cheese spaetzle back then was very heavy (digestible). Service at the counter is okay, maybe a little too hectic. If you plan to stay longer (eat on site), you will have to wait and the staff (2 men) look overwhelmed. What I also dislike is that sometimes photos are taken for Instagram without asking and that the male employees immediately get excited when you just stand in front of the store.

The food was very delicious and the waiters/waitresses were so friendly and welcoming. It has a really comfy ambience too. Would definitely visit again!

👎👎Unfortunately, on February 26, 2024, I had an unpleasant experience and the bad behavior of the waiter when I entered the cafe. The waiter stopped me and asked if I was a bus driver. Then I told him that I wasn't a bus driver, but a VVS driver. He forbade me to go to the toilet and told me to go to the toilet somewhere else. I just explained to him that I came to buy some takeaway, but first I need to go to the bathroom. I informed the inspector about everything so that the waiter could refuse to serve me. By the way, I can tell that the person in question handles money and food without gloves. Disgusting of him.

Went to Unikat for breakfast. Reception, service and breakfast for two were all perfect. Would love to come back. Thanks so much.

Went there for the first time this week and I was very disappointed. Just under 10 euros for 5 really extremely small chicken wings. The atmosphere was also a bit too cool for us. But that's just my personal feeling. Service is quick and friendly. The toilets are very clean. Great selection of food. But just under 9 euros for a portion of sweet potato fries is steep, and I don't have anything with me yet.

Update: waren heute wieder da und haben aber zu Abend gegessen. Die Burger waren sehr lecker. Wir waren wieder sehr zufrieden 😊 Schönes Cafe - wir waren zum Frühstücken da. Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt und es war reichhaltig. Aber auch hübsch angerichtet. Wir kommen wieder.

Super netter Service und mega herzlich, man merkt einfach das hier Herzblut drin steckt. Würde jeder Zeit gerne wiederkommen. Bleibt genau so wie ihr seit! ☺️ #einfachmegalecker

Hier muss ich einfach 5 Sterne geben. Super tolles Essen, immer schön angerichtet. Dabei sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Es gibt eine gute Auswahl, alles was ich bisher gegessen habe hat super geschmeckt. Weiter so!!

Ja, man bewertet die Locations vor Ort viel zu selten, weil man sie ja kennt. Aber im Urlaub sind wir dankbar für jede Bewertung. Oder geht’s euch anders? Meine Schwiegertochter und ich haben das Frühstück am vergangenen Samstag wirklich genossen. Schaut live vorbei. Toll angerichtet, frisch, … einfach lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen euch gerne weiter.💯

Top kann ich nur sagen Service ist top der Kaffee schmeckt megaaaaaaaa und das Essen ist auch gut 👍👍

Leckeres Frühstück. Freundliche Gastgeber

Ein netter Laden in Geislingen am Bahnhof. Wir waren dort sowohl zum Frühstück und als auch abends zum Essen. Die Burger sind sehr gut und die Getränke waren sehr fair im Preis. Um abends in Geislingen weg zu gehen ist das Unikat eine gute Anlaufstelle!

Mein Sohn 8 Jahre ist begeistert von Unikat. Die heiße Schokolade ist super lecker. Und das knusprige Salamibrötchen einfach köstlich. Seine Worte. Danke für die freundliche Bedienung.

Waren auf der Durchreise und wollten nur kurz einen Kaffee trinken. Jetzt wissen wir, was in unserer näheren Umgebung dringend fehlt. Ein Café Unikat.

Frühstück für zwei war lecker und nett angerichtet, aber nicht wirklich etwas Besonderes. 2 Brötchen pro Person und Käse und Wurst von durchschnittlicher Qualität. Rührei war in Ordnung aber nicht gewürzt. Atmosphäre ist für meinen Geschmack nicht für Frühstück geeignet. Es läuft RnB Musik und im Hintergrund der Fernseher. Als Café/Bar in Ordnung. Frühstücken gehen tue ich lieber im Bopp.

Mega tolles reichhaltiges Frühstück

Even though Google did not have "takeaway" as part of the restaurants services, the staff were very kind to let us order food to go. The dining area was modern and well kept.

Fast schon unterirdisch! Wir waren diese Woche dort, wurden aber schon eine knappe Stunde später (die Getränke waren noch nicht leer) mit den Worten „ihr wusstet nicht dass wir um 18:00 Uhr schließen, oder?“ rauskomplimentiert. -> nein wussten wir nicht, weil weder Google, noch die Unikat-eigene Webseite noch irgendein Aushang an Tür oder Fenster auf die geänderten Öffnungszeiten aufmerksam macht. Man fühlt sich leider sehr veräppelt!

One of the best coffees I've ever tasted! Very cozy cafe and very friendly waiters. Whenever I go to class at the university I order a coffee there! The other day I ate some pancakes and they were great! highly recommended!

Sehr leckere Schnitzel, Chicken Wings und Burger, die Pommes sind auch sehr lecker und super gewürzt. Das Personal und der Inhaber ist sehr nett. Essen sieht immer top aus!! Ich habe auch ein Bild nur leider ist es wo ich den Rest nicht hatte also Rahmsauce und Ketchup
