The food was correct but rather average. It didn't excite me at all. WAN TAN soup was better, but sushi was extremely weak... the tuna meat was even dry and almost inedible.

Very good food is served here and courteous service. Highly recommended.

We ate at "UMI" for the first time today. We ordered a sushi menu for 2 people. As soon as it was served, it was a visual highlight. It was super tasty and more than plentiful. Price/performance really can't be beat!!! We'll definitely be back ✌

I like coming to the UMI restaurant. If I want to eat delicious sushi, this is it! 🍣🍱 There is a large selection of different food - sushi (maki, inside-out, nigiri, baked..), donburi, pho and much more. Everyone will find something here. There are also children's meals. I celebrate the cocktails - there are alcoholic and non-alcoholic. If you want a nice summer cocktail, I recommend the "Ipanema" (brown cane sugar, ginger ale, lime and lots of crushed ice). 🍋‍🟩🍸🧊 If you can't manage your food, you can take it with you. The ambience is very nice; It's cozy inside and there's also seating outside. What I don't like now is that you sit relatively close to each other. If you don't feel like eating in the restaurant, you can also order food and pick it up. ✌🏻 The waiters are all very friendly! Always a smile on your face. There is also enough parking space around the UMI. The prices are okay for the quality of the food. You will definitely be full. 😊 My photo shows: Big Baked Yaki Roll (cooked chicken, avocado, cucumber, cream cheese) and Inside-Out Rolls Kappa Maki (cucumber, cream cheese, sesame). 🥑🥒🥢🍱

After the corona pandemic, consumption in restaurants is now also possible 👍 The dishes are all tasty and fresh, the sushi is particularly recommended. Unfortunately, prices have risen somewhat here too.

Very nice atmosphere and very hospitable staff. My food was a bit too greasy and almost too good for Asian cuisine, but the other food and drinks were very tasty. In terms of price I would put it in the upper midfield but it is definitely justified for the quality and portion size. Keep it up

We usually always visit a sushi restaurant in Dresden. Since the route was too far for us this time, we chose the Umi Restaurant in Finsterwalde. We made a reservation for 5 people and received excellent service. The food was very tasty and we didn't have to wait long for the food. The service was very friendly and often asked if everything was ok or if something was missing. We will be back definitely. Thank you for the great food and the excellent service.

Great Asian restaurant with traditional cuisine. The dishes are freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients. The drinks and cocktails are special and always specially prepared. Unfortunately the price has increased slightly in the last few months.

The food was very tasty. The sushi was freshly prepared and the location also looks very nice. We had to wait a relatively long time, but admittedly there were a lot of people there and good food takes time. Completely messed up! You call at 7 p.m. and want to make a reservation. This is rejected because apparently there is no one in the restaurant. The Corona season begins and the establishment is full to the last seat - far from it. There can be no question of a safe distance at all. After 17 minutes, not even ordered anything. Used to be good - no longer recommended.

High quality food with fair price and fast. Nice decorative ambience with lots of flowers on the terrace. Service was from the heart. Very friendly, charming, personable and funny staff. The waiter does a real job, he knows everything that is on the menu, even small hidden ingredients. My daughter has severe allergies, we need at least 20 minutes to order each time, but with Umi: 2 minutes is enough. Very respectful for service. We'd love to come back.

We had reserved a table and were then allowed to choose whether inside or outside. The weather was nice so we decided to go outside. Unfortunately we ended up sitting in the sun. But that wasn't quite as dramatic because it's not quite that hot yet. However, it is difficult in summer because the roller blind does not seem to cover the entire outdoor area. Regarding the service, everything was great. Nice service, people often asked if they had everything, and that was a lot of praise. The food was also okay and there was almost nothing to complain about. Except for the rice portion for one meal, which could have been a little more. But that probably varies from person to person. The drinks are served beautifully garnished. All in all, it was a worthwhile visit to this restaurant. Gladly again 👌

It was a joy again as always! We were welcomed in a funny and friendly manner, ordering was quick, food came quickly and was delicious as always. The ambience alone is great and is worth a visit. Price performance is more than justified.

For me it is by far the best Asian restaurant in Finsterwalde and the surrounding area. We have already tried a large part of the menu and have never been disappointed. The sushi in particular is very tasty, no long waiting times and nice staff. Food can also be ordered and picked up by phone or online. We will continue to regularly eat our sushi and other delicacies at Umi. Always my pleasure!

I've never written a review on Google but I definitely have to. We have heard a lot about Umi and went there for the first time with our family a few days ago. From first sight, it's a very nice restaurant. Fits everyone from small fish to hand-painted artwork on the wall. I thought the food was great, the recommendations were wonderful. The duck with hot pan was very impressive, sushi was a poem. The black sweet sauce...Uhmmm, I want a recipe for that. Service is a huge shining star. I have never received anything like this in my 40 years of life. The waiter's name is Vincent, he was really great, he understands each of us like a family member, even my husband - who I've been together for 14 years - can't understand me as well as he does. We really enjoy his puns and intelligent jokes. We really had a good laugh :). So, a very very highly recommended restaurant. We would love to come back.

An Asian in Südstadt. Enough parking spaces at the restaurant. Friendly welcome. I thought the drinks were great. Soups were good too. The main meal, however, I found, could be improved. Otherwise we sat well. Toilet facilities clean. You can have a good meal here.

We ate at Umi Restaurant yesterday and were very satisfied. Reservation worked, the ambience was nice and the service too, but there wasn't much going on for us yet. The food was super tasty😋. You could taste the fresh ingredients, for us it was the best sushi we have ever eaten. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back.

Simply extraordinary! The food was great, you can tell that a lot of love went into the details. The food for the children is excellent because they don't know anything about Asian cuisine, so there are good compromises! The service impresses with wit and charm and all special requests are implemented immediately! The drinks cocktails are a highlight and should definitely be tried! The ambience and the work in the rooms are simply unbelievably beautiful, and the terrace in summer is simply incredible! Unfortunately it's no longer an insider tip...it's usually very busy. We were completely happy... well there were a few deductions because of the location right next to a parking lot where cars constantly drive past while we eat. Unfortunately there's not much you can do about it. 9.8/10 points!

Einmal im Monat wird Sushi geholt! Und ich kann einfach nur sagen 'LECKER'😋 es steht immer pünktlich da, musste nie warten, und wenn ich mal im Restaurant esse, dauert es nie lange bis das Essen auf den Tisch steht. Die Bedienung ist auch immer freundlich und das Ambiente passt sehr gut! Freu mich jedes Mal aufs neue, macht weiter so 👌👍

I found this nice little restaurant because I was craving for some sushi. It offers vietnamese and japanese cuisine. With a good selection of sushis, a variety of vietnamese main dishes accompanied by the most typical sides and desserts. They had a nice selection of self made lemonades as well, which I enjoyed. I had chicken as a pre dish, followed by some classical tuna makis, octopus and eel nigiris and some salmon skin special rolls. And I must say I'm impressed to find such a good sushi quality in this area. The sushi rolling was neatly done and the presentation was really nice. The quality of the food was really fresh, especially the vegetables and it tastes really good. I like how most of the vietnamese owned Sushi Restaurants are working with the little sauce and mayo toppings for the dishes. I just gave one less star for the service, because the staff seemed to be in abit of a rush even though it was not that crowded. They were very friendly though and ordered and served very quickly. Overall it was a good find and I would come here again to try some other things. I would recommend it to anyone searching for a good sushi place in the Lausitz area.

Das Essen war gut...Vorspeise kalt...leider sitzt man so eng beieinander, dass man alle Gespräche verfolgen muss...das hat mir gar nicht gefallen...trotz telefonischer Tischbestellung war nichts vorbereitet und wir mussten nochmals von einem Tisch zum anderen umziehen...schlecht organisiert

Wir hatten Sushi, Sommerrollen, Frühlingsrollen und Rotes Curry mit Hähnchen gebacken - alles sehr lecker :) Sehr nette und aufmerksame Servicemitarbeiter. Leider stehen die Tische wirklich sehr eng, sodass private Gespräche kaum möglich sind. Die Getränkepreise haben es in sich.. z.B. 4,90 Euro für ein 0,33l Saigon Bier O_o Eine Tischreservierung ist auf jeden Fall von Vorteil.

Tolles Ambiente, nette Bedienung und essen ist sehr gut gewesen. Immer wieder gerne:) Auch ne tolle Auswahl für Vegetarier. Man findet da mehr als nur ein oder zwei gerichte zur Auswahl;)

Wow! Super sushi, wunderschönes Ambiente, saubere Toilette, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Hohe Preise, welche aber gerechtfertigt sind. Waren zu zweit und hatten Vorspeise, Cocktail und sushi Menü 9 für 4 Personen. Ganz große Empfehlung.
