Türmerhaus in Rochlitz

Wenn du auf Convenience stehst bist du hier richtig. Leider war garnichts selbst zubereitet. Gemüse in Wasser gegart ohne Salz, Kartoffeln nicht frisch. Fleisch aus dem Froster, leider garnicht gut. Es hat sich um 100 % verschlechtert, lohnt nicht mehr hinzugehen.

Wir haben gut gegessen, der Service war flott und aufmerksam. Ein tolles Ausflugsziel. Wünschenswert wäre ein gut sichtbares Hinweisschild vom Parkplatz kommend an der Treppe. Sowohl wir als auch eine andere Gruppe, waren unsicher, ob wir richtig gelaufen sind.

Schönes Ausflugslokal mit ansprechend er Speisekarte zu vernünftigen Preisen. Freundliche und schnelle Bedienung. Die PKW-Zufahrt ist leider etwas verwirrend ausgeschildert.

Das Essen war perfekt. Wir hatten Wildgulasch mit Klößen . Ich habe selten so was Gutes gegessen.

Ein schöner Außenbereich und professionelles Personal. Nach einem Spaziergang durch den Lehrpfad ein gemütliches Restaurant.

Kartoffeln waren nicht warm, leider TK Gemüse, nicht gut gewürzt,hat insgesamt besseres verdient/mehr Potential für diese tolle Location

2026 Muttertag zweite Chance, haben auf der Terrasse gesessen und gegessen. Ambiente naturell, Essen und Trinken lecker und das Personal fleißig, freundlich und aufmerksam. 2021 Ostern Schöne moderne Gaststätte mit Spielplatz und Biergarten, direkt am Türmerhaus auf dem Rochlitzer Berg. Wir waren am Ostersamstag 2021 hier und das war der einzige Schließtag. Schade, schade, aber zu Zeiten von Corona nicht zu ändern. Dann haben wir eine zweite Chance die Wirtsleute kennenzulernen, bis bald.

Sehr gut und schön gelegen diese Gaststätte, gleich neben dem Turm. Sitzplätze gibt es nicht nur in der Gaststätte, auch im freien sind sie sehr begehrt bei schönem Wetter. Die Speisekarte ist gut und hat einiges zu bieten. Der Service ist gut und es geht recht schnell. Kaffee und Kuchen gibt es auch.

Gutes Essen in einem gepflegten Restaurant, das sich in überaus reizvoller Umgebung befindet, so dass man vorher oder nachher noch einen erlebnisreichen Spaziergang (oder eine längere Wanderung) einplanen kann.

Immer wieder eine tolle Erfahrung mit einem sehr freundlichen Team.

Es gibt hier absolut nichts zu meckern. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam, Essen gut bürgerlich und sehr lecker, Modifikationen an der Zusammenstellung unkompliziert machbar, Preise zeitgemäß wie überall. Sehr gern wieder. 👍🏻

Waren sehr enttäuscht- Schnitzel war Formfleisch weder selbst paniert noch gewürzt- entspricht absolut keiner guten Speisegaststätte- Die Terrasse war auch noch absolut auf Winter eingestellt- es gab nicht mal Sitzkissen und das bei 16 grad und Sonnenschein

Super nettes Personal, man könnte nur mal was in neue Speisekarten investieren.

Ich kenne dieses Restaurant schon seit über 30Jahren und es war mal etwas besonderes. Als ich hier das letzte Mal essen war und das Schnitzel bestellt hatte, Bekanntschaft etwas vorgesetzt dass ich mir nicht mal im Arbeits- oder Zeitstress zusetzen würde. Ein billiges Stück Schwein, industriell paniert. Einfach eine Zumutung in einem „Restaurant“ eine so etwas vorsetzen. Es würde Sinn machen wenn ihr es Schnellimbiss nennt und der Onkel Jochen völlig besoffen am Stehtisch hängt und über seinen Lebensfrust lallt. Aber das tatsächlich einem so vorzusetzen ist schon echt mehreres. Faul, frech, unzumutbar… die Liste könnte ewig weitergehen. Übrigens war ich mit der Sauberkeit der Toiletten auch nicht zufrieden. Höherer Anspruch wäre hier echt wünschenswert. Bei dem einzige Wildgericht ist nicht mal klar ob es jetzt Reh, Hirsch oder Wildschwein ist oder einfach nur alles zusammengehauen und als irgendwas Gutes verkauft…. Kann ich echt niemanden Empfehlen. Eigentümerwechsel ändert es vielleicht. Oder sollte sich die Kundschaft nicht lauthals pickiert fühlen das eben auch das Restaurant entsprechende Preise hat. Es scheint so als hält man das Ganze am Laufen mit egal was. Hauptsache Leute kommen und bezahlen. Was man denen vorsetzt ist am Ende eh egal. Die kommen ja nur wegen dem Ort und wenn bei uns zu teuer ist, dann machen wir halt Billigzeugs… Tolle Essenskultur.

We've been there several times now. A lovely place to stop for a bite to eat after exploring the area on foot. The food was absolutely delicious; everyone was satisfied. The service was very friendly and professional, and they accommodated all our requests for changes to our food order.

A beautiful area, no complaints there. Unfortunately, that's the only good thing about this restaurant. Even with a reservation, you wait at least an hour for your food, which wouldn't be so bad if the food you receive were even remotely acceptable. When the food finally arrived, it quickly became clear that there's a serious conflict with spices going on here. I suspect the chef avoids salt, pepper, and anything that might have any flavor out of sheer conviction, which is why I could share my makeup with the chicken I was served. The only truly positive thing about the meal was ultimately the moment it was over. Hence the well-deserved two stars: one for the beautiful setting and one for the end of this culinary adventure.

The location itself is well-designed and modern, so that's fine. The food is rather mediocre; some of it tasted like frozen food. The adult portions were okay, but the children's portions were very small. The wait for the food was too long; we had pre-ordered and even selected our meals beforehand, yet still had to wait about 90 minutes.

As the start of our annual Christmas market trip to the (pre-)Ore Mountains, we made a detour to Rochlitz Mountain this year for lunch. We were very impressed with the quality of the food; the elderberry soup is my secret favorite, and the ribbon noodles with mushrooms were also absolutely delicious. A stylish building with an inviting atmosphere right next to the observation tower, plus very friendly waitstaff—it was a feast for the senses!

The Türmerhaus mountain restaurant on Rochlitz Mountain (353m) is beautifully and idyllically situated. Delicious food, friendly and fast service, a cozy beer garden, and lovely autumnal decorations inside – a wonderful atmosphere – simply perfect for relaxing.

We always enjoy coming back to Rochlitz Mountain. Of course, we eat at the mountain restaurant. The food is delicious, the quality is excellent, and the service is friendly and helpful.

Beautiful location in nature, near Rochlitz.

It's beautifully situated. The terrace is especially great when the weather's nice.

Here you can enjoy wonderful food and hike around the porphyry quarries.

We celebrated our grandchild's first day of school there at the beginning of August. A magical restaurant set in a beautiful landscape. Very friendly and attentive service, and the cake and dinner were delicious. We'll definitely be back.

We sat outside the restaurant, surrounded by tall, ancient beech trees. The food was very good, and the service was pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend the restaurant. It's worth climbing the tower for €1; on a clear day, you have a wonderful view as far as Leipzig or Altenburg.

We spontaneously stopped by for lunch last Sunday. Unfortunately, it was a total disappointment. My food was partly cold and lacked any real flavor. The "crispy coating" turned out to be simply burnt breadcrumbs. The vegetables were probably fresh and crispy four days ago. The service was also quite irritated. The same old story was repeated at every table.

Yes, unfortunately, the service here wasn't great today. A 1.5-hour wait for lunch would have left many people. You can do better than that.

The food was missing that final kick, but otherwise great!

On August 6, 2025, around 3 p.m., we wanted to order two ice cream sundaes. There weren't many customers and plenty of staff. Unfortunately, we were completely ignored for 30 minutes. Something like that had never happened to us before. Since no one was paying attention to us, we got up and left. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant.

The service was friendly, the food tasted good, and the ambience was OK, too.

Highly recommended. We really enjoyed it again. The weather was beautiful, and we sat in the beer garden. Don't forget to make a reservation, though. If you're a good walker, you can use the parking spaces below and walk up. It can get crowded in front of the restaurant. Super friendly service.

Very nice ambiance. We sat outside. There were parasols everywhere. The service was excellent. I would describe the food as home-style. The portions were generous. Some of the food is, of course, frozen, but that's perfectly fine for the price. We were there as a group. People with disabilities are advised to drive up to the restaurant, as the path from the parking lot is quite steep and not exactly wheelchair-accessible. We would definitely be happy to come back.

Upon entering the beer garden around 4:00 p.m., we were already eyed critically by the staff, who were comfortably seated at a beer table. And even though there were more staff than customers, it took forever for someone to bother to serve us. Unfortunately, they couldn't offer us any more food, as the kitchen closes 90 minutes before the restaurant closes. I can't recommend this restaurant.

Not recommended. The service was overwhelmed. The food really wasn't good. Definitely not for the price. Had something from a cheap chip shop. We wanted to celebrate a birthday. All the children thought the food was bad. And that with pasta and salad. It was nothing for that at all. Alm

When you're married, you're no better off than you were before. You wait 90 minutes for the schnitzel, but the expensive portion is a bit too small for me with my 60kg and it would have actually tasted better with the Schnizz - but as we all know, you can do anything with Rochlitzern - as you can see from the currently positive reviews. It's a shame, but it's not too bad. Not a total misstep but there is no recommendation.

Went there for lunch today, service was very nice, everything went quickly, less than 20 minutes until the food was there, but it could have been a little warmer. That's why only 4 stars. Otherwise it was very tasty. Beef tongue, game goulash and nuggets with fries. Happy to recommend

Service staff was very friendly. Unfortunately I wasn't happy with the food. If I order an omelet, I want an omelette and not a wafer-thin and lukewarm crepe made from scrambled eggs. My friend ordered a pasta nest with mushrooms. This was also lukewarm and not as a nest of noodles and relatively carelessly served on the plate. Either the cook didn't feel like it or he was stressed. I know him better there too. Very, very unfortunate.

Can definitely be recommended. The food is very tasty, plentiful and well prepared. Unfortunately we had to wait almost 50 minutes from ordering to being served. The entirely young service team seemed stressed. Unfortunately, the dirt from the shoes brought in by the many hikers was not cleaned up promptly on the floors, stairs and carpet. Unfortunately, that somehow doesn't fit together.

We really recommend hiking in the surrounding area, but unfortunately not the food. There were three of us and every meal (goose, tongue, pork knuckle) tasted old. Ambiance, we were there in February, cold.

What actually defines the quality of a good Pott's coffee? ☕️ About the type of coffee itself, the brand of coffee machine used, the way it is served? 🤔 No idea. 🤷‍♂️ In any case, the coffee served here in the Türmerhaus in an impressive setting can be rated as very good to tastiest in all categories. 👍😉

The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. A visit is recommended because the surrounding area is also very beautiful.

We were at the Türmerhaus with 28 guests for our 60th birthday. We had a buffet, everything was very, very tasty. Later in the evening there was delicious homemade cake. Our waitress was super nice and very attentive. It was a wonderful evening for us and our guests. Many thanks to the team.

Nice restaurant. Great location! Everything is very chic. We were here for a family celebration. Overall very satisfied. Only the menu was significantly reduced for us beforehand and you had to choose your food days in advance... But the logistical reasons behind it are of course understandable.

The Türmerhaus mountain restaurant is always the highlight of a hike to or on the Rochlitzer Berg. The Rochlitzer Berg is highly recommended and beautiful as a hiking area. The service in the Türmerhaus is very friendly and the price-performance ratio is excellent with very tasty, large portions. We have also held a number of family celebrations up there.

Had our class reunion here. There was very tasty home-baked cake with the coffee. The dinner also tasted very good and was very nicely prepared. We were accommodated in a side room, which was of course very pleasant. I'll definitely come here again with the family, you can hike and then enjoy the great food. The very well-known porphyry quarry is of course the highlight.
