Gutes Essen, nettes Personal! Hab nichts zu meckern, außer, dass die Toilette recht dreckig war, leider. Würde trotzdem nochmal hingehen :)

Ich schreibe dies unter Berücksichtigung meiner bisherigen Erfahrungen mit türkischen Restaurants. Insgesamt waren die Atmosphäre und die Sauberkeit sehr gut. Außerdem sind die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und herzlich. Das Essen kann man als gut bezeichnen. Das Gleiche kann ich über die Desserts leider nicht sagen. Außerdem habe ich zum ersten Mal erlebt, dass in einem türkischen Restaurant für den Tee nach dem Essen eine Gebühr verlangt wurde. Das hat mich überrascht. Ich bin mir sicher, dass der Restaurantbesitzer in einem türkischen Restaurant noch nie für Tee bezahlt hat :) Das Brot, das beim ersten Gang serviert wurde, war sehr hart, aber wir haben trotzdem etwas davon gegessen. Später haben wir nach zusätzlichem Brot gefragt und mussten feststellen, dass dies als Extrakosten auf der Rechnung aufgeführt wurde, was uns verärgert hat. Nach dem Essen wurde der von uns bestellte Tee auf einen nicht abgeräumten Tisch serviert. Wir haben den Tisch selbst mit einer Serviette abgewischt. Die Dinge, die ich auf dem Kassenbon in meinem Kommentar erwähnt habe, sind darauf vermerkt. Diese Kritik dient keineswegs dazu, das Restaurant schlechtzumachen, sondern soll im Gegenteil dazu beitragen, die Servicequalität zu verbessern.

Das Lokal ist gross und bietet genug Privatsphäre für Gäste, die Speisekarte lässt keine Wünsche offen, der Service war perfekt und das Essen sehr gut. Wir kommen wieder!

Besser geht nicht! Empfehle ich jedem vom Herzen. Alles was wir probiert haben hat sehr frisch und lecker geschmeckt. (Hatten aber keine Fleischgerichte) Die Bedienung war sehr angenehm und so auch das Ambiente. Hfftl sind wir bald wieder da. Ellerinize saglik!

Sehr lecker, toller Service sehr zuvorkommend

Service sehr freundlich Ambiente auch sehr gut Essen allerdings sehr schwach. Das Lamm aus dem lammspiess war aus einer völlig falschen Stelle. Das Fleisch war nicht zum grillen gut sondern eher zum schmoren. Gegrillt war es ein für ein Lamm überdurchschnittlich zähes Fleisch. Auch das Adana Kebap war nicht erwartungsgemäß. Also bisschen Meze und Rakı bestimmt gut als Location aber vom Grill würde ich die Finger lassen.

Januar 2026: nach ewig langer Zeit wieder dort gewesen und genauso herrlich wie beim letzten Besuch! Sehr freundliches Team, tolles Ambiente, sehr leckere Speisen und Getränke. Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte und Nachtisch alles Topp. Saubere sanitäre Anlage. Kartenzahlung möglich und kleine Hunde dürfen nach Absprache mit rein. Geburtstag Vater. Gäste aus Bochum und Köln. Empfang durch den Chef, sehr angenehm. Tisch optimaler Platz, Fenster. Ambiente des Lokal Türkis wundervoll, waren vorher nie dort, absolute Empfehlung. I've never seen such a bad restaurant in my life. The staff are utterly disrespectful and indifferent. If you ask or request something, they immediately dismiss it. The service is zero! They even deliver food in installments. For example, first comes the kunefe, then the ice cream, then the fork… Nothing ever arrives on time or together. And when you ask, they get angry at the customers. One particularly nasty employee (waitress or whoever is in charge) kept snapping at everyone. We were there yesterday, and everyone at the table was complaining about the same thing. How can you have such employees? How can you run a business like this? It's truly disgraceful.

Es war ein wunderschönes türkisches Restaurant mit angenehmer Atmosphäre. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und unterhaltsam. Seine Geschichte ist so interessant, dass sie sich hervorragend für einen Film eignen würde. Das Essen ist köstlich. Es ist ein sauberes, elegantes Lokal mit türkisfarbenen Akzenten.

Frankly speaking For more than 20 years i ate on many Turkish restaurants in Germany during my business trips. This is the best one and highly recommended.

A very beautifully decorated restaurant, with very friendly and attentive staff. We had the set menu for two, which was plentiful, with excellent fish and meat, vegetables, etc. The only downside was that the fish was in large pieces, and we had to cut it up ourselves so everyone could try it.

I have ordered kebab and meze with authentic Turkish/Iranian food. I loved the bread and meze. Kebab was delicious and well cooked. Atmosphere was relaxing and the place was very clean. Service was also very nice. Highly recommend the place.

Unfortunately, our visit to the Türkis restaurant was very disappointing. After sitting down at a table that was noticeably dirty—including dried dirt and a piece of onion—we were informed that "something had fallen from the tree." When we asked for the table to be cleaned, we were simply told, in a very rude and disrespectful tone, to simply sit on the other side. The place was completely empty, and we were the only customers—the least they could have done was offer a clean table or at least clean it politely. Instead, we were treated rudely, which prompted us to leave immediately. What a shame—that's how you lose potential regular customers. For us, it was the first and last time. Not recommended.

We were there with our two boys (10 & 12). Studying the menu and ordering really tested the patience of both the parents and the waitresses... The waitresses were super friendly and competent. The food (including lentil soup, warm appetizers, lamb fillet, grilled minced meat skewers, etc.) was delicious and arrived promptly. We'll be back.

I ate there with my children and friends. My little daughter spilled a bottle of water. The waiter came over and cleaned everything up and asked if he should bring a new bottle. I said yes. At the end, I received the bill for two water bottles, which I was supposed to pay. That's not hospitality. If I drop an ice cream at the ice cream parlor, I don't have to pay for it, or if a Coke breaks at the supermarket. When I mentioned it, the owner got cheeky and gave us the middle finger.

A real disappointment! Don't be fooled by the pictures...it's totally weird there. While you were eating, the staff kept coming over and asking if you could clear away. The food itself wasn't tasty either. It's a real shame for the price.

We ate here with our family and were greeted warmly as soon as we entered the restaurant. The service is very good, not intrusive but always available. The food on offer is very good value for money and tastes very good. Also worth mentioning is how friendly the children were.

It's rather unassuming from the outside, but the interior is incredibly stylish: bright, Mediterranean, and everything is decorated in turquoise. You immediately feel at home. We were here for Mother's Day and received a truly warm welcome. The staff, the ambiance—fitting the name "Turquoise"—and the food were truly excellent. We felt truly at home. The waiters' manner is wonderfully refreshing and super friendly. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in the area.

A very nice Turkish restaurant in Mülheim. The people are very great with the service. The mixed meze plate has everything and it is best way to taste different mezes. I tried the Adana Kebap, the meet was really tasty however it was a bit salty also the veggies. Other than that everything was great!

Although the waiter seemed a little cold at first, after a short conversation he was very friendly. I ate Adana kebab, it was really satisfying, both the size of the portion and the taste of the meat. I wish it was another brand of soda rather than Pepsi, but that is the venue's own choice. Looking at the comments, I would like to ask the people who condemn not being served tea, whether they drink the coffee they drink after dinner at a German-Italian restaurant for free. There is a perception in our culture that tea is served free of charge after meals, but each business's policy is different. Yes, the prices are a little high, but based on the taste, we can understand that cheap meat/ingredients are not used.

The many very good reviews made us curious - so we wanted to see for ourselves. What was positive was that we spontaneously got a nice table for four people without making a reservation. The ambience is stylish. Unfortunately, the service couldn't quite keep up with the high-quality impression of the restaurant. There was a lack of professionalism and a certain amount of fine-tuning. The food tasted good, but the portions were rather small. For us the price-performance ratio wasn't right. Overall it was a solid evening.

I have been going to restaurants in Germany for years. In this restaurant, we asked for bread on the table and then the restaurant owner offered us tea. It's incredible. They wrote the money for bread and tea on the cash register receipt? good health

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience - harmful to health and disrespectful treatment I was in this restaurant today and ordered two menu plates. While eating, I was horrified to discover that there was a piece of wire - apparently from a metal sponge - in my food. I immediately pointed this out to the waiter and even showed him a photo. The waiter's reaction was completely inappropriate and shocking: he literally said, "Yeah, better than a hair, right?" – A hair would actually be much less dangerous than a sharp-edged wire, which could easily be swallowed and seriously injured. When I then commented that I was not prepared to pay the entire bill under these circumstances, it was ignored. Instead of insight or accommodation, I was simply asked to pay the full amount - without any sense of responsibility or apology. I will forward the picture of the wire to the responsible health department. Something like this simply shouldn't happen in a restaurant. Definitely not a recommendation – neither for the food nor for dealing with guests. Best regards

Believe me, the tandoori lamb was superb. My friends also ate fried shrimp. The room is great. Don't forget to make a reservation, otherwise they don't take it. But it is truly beautiful.

Very bad service, very rude and unfriendly. No consideration! The owner spoke very rudely, absolutely not recommended! When we asked to wipe the table briefly, we were cheekily told not to put any crumbs on the table and that it would be our fault if we made a mess and the guests at the next table didn't leave crumbs on the table like we did.

I come from Wuppertal and was there for the first time. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the mixed grill platter. I have never eaten such juicy and delicious meat in Wuppertal and very rarely. I will go there more often from now on. The very friendly staff in a cozy atmosphere.

We celebrated my mother's birthday here with children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We had ordered mixed cold and warm starters in advance, otherwise the guests ordered a la carte. The employees at Türkis treated us very friendly and attentively. This and the delicious food made it a very nice evening. Many thanks to the Turquoise team.

An all-round successful evening – highly recommended! I recently moved here and came across this place while looking for a nice restaurant. We tried it out with my girlfriend – and were thrilled! We hadn't made a reservation, but luckily there were still two tables available. However, I recommend booking in advance as it can certainly be busier on other days. An interesting surprise awaited me in the toilet: there was toilet paper next to the urinal - something I've never seen in a restaurant before. A small but thoughtful gesture that I found positive. In addition, disposable towels were provided for hygiene reasons, which once again impressed me. About the food: I ordered the Tavuk Şiş, my girlfriend the rump steak with eggplant, and we both absolutely loved it. We also treated ourselves to the meze plate - and everything was just as delicious as described. The prices are a little higher, but considering the quality of the food and the excellent service, it's worth every penny. We felt completely comfortable and are already looking forward to our next visit. A big thank you to the entire team for this wonderful evening! I can recommend this restaurant without reservation.

This place is no ordinary establishment. You will notice the difference from the first moment until the moment you say goodbye. The food is professionally prepared and served nice and hot.
