I ate there with a friend yesterday. The atmosphere is lovely, it feels like you're on vacation. Everything is clean. The tables are completely cleaned immediately upon departure. The service was very friendly and polite. We'd love to come back!

The food was delicious, but unfortunately the service was very poor. Despite the place being completely empty, we received poor service. The service definitely needs to be improved, perhaps it will be busier at some point. There's potential.

Unfortunately, our visit to the Türkis restaurant was very disappointing. After sitting down at a table that was noticeably dirty—including dried dirt and a piece of onion—we were informed that "something had fallen from the tree." When we asked for the table to be cleaned, we were simply told, in a very rude and disrespectful tone, to simply sit on the other side. The place was completely empty, and we were the only customers—the least they could have done was offer a clean table or at least clean it politely. Instead, we were treated rudely, which prompted us to leave immediately. What a shame—that's how you lose potential regular customers. For us, it was the first and last time. Not recommended.

We were there with our two boys (10 & 12). Studying the menu and ordering really tested the patience of both the parents and the waitresses... The waitresses were super friendly and competent. The food (including lentil soup, warm appetizers, lamb fillet, grilled minced meat skewers, etc.) was delicious and arrived promptly. We'll be back.

I ate there with my children and friends. My little daughter spilled a bottle of water. The waiter came over and cleaned everything up and asked if he should bring a new bottle. I said yes. At the end, I received the bill for two water bottles, which I was supposed to pay. That's not hospitality. If I drop an ice cream at the ice cream parlor, I don't have to pay for it, or if a Coke breaks at the supermarket. When I mentioned it, the owner got cheeky and gave us the middle finger.

A real disappointment! Don't be fooled by the pictures...it's totally weird there. While you were eating, the staff kept coming over and asking if you could clear away. The food itself wasn't tasty either. It's a real shame for the price.

We ate here with our family and were greeted warmly as soon as we entered the restaurant. The service is very good, not intrusive but always available. The food on offer is very good value for money and tastes very good. Also worth mentioning is how friendly the children were.

We were here for Mother's Day and received a truly warm welcome. The staff, the ambiance—fitting the name "Turquoise"—and the food were truly excellent. We felt truly at home. The waiters' manner is wonderfully refreshing and super friendly. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in the area.

A very nice Turkish restaurant in Mülheim. The people are very great with the service. The mixed meze plate has everything and it is best way to taste different mezes. I tried the Adana Kebap, the meet was really tasty however it was a bit salty also the veggies. Other than that everything was great!

Although the waiter seemed a little cold at first, after a short conversation he was very friendly. I ate Adana kebab, it was really satisfying, both the size of the portion and the taste of the meat. I wish it was another brand of soda rather than Pepsi, but that is the venue's own choice. Looking at the comments, I would like to ask the people who condemn not being served tea, whether they drink the coffee they drink after dinner at a German-Italian restaurant for free. There is a perception in our culture that tea is served free of charge after meals, but each business's policy is different. Yes, the prices are a little high, but based on the taste, we can understand that cheap meat/ingredients are not used.

I have been going to restaurants in Germany for years. In this restaurant, we asked for bread on the table and then the restaurant owner offered us tea. It's incredible. They wrote the money for bread and tea on the cash register receipt? good health

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience - harmful to health and disrespectful treatment I was in this restaurant today and ordered two menu plates. While eating, I was horrified to discover that there was a piece of wire - apparently from a metal sponge - in my food. I immediately pointed this out to the waiter and even showed him a photo. The waiter's reaction was completely inappropriate and shocking: he literally said, "Yeah, better than a hair, right?" – A hair would actually be much less dangerous than a sharp-edged wire, which could easily be swallowed and seriously injured. When I then commented that I was not prepared to pay the entire bill under these circumstances, it was ignored. Instead of insight or accommodation, I was simply asked to pay the full amount - without any sense of responsibility or apology. I will forward the picture of the wire to the responsible health department. Something like this simply shouldn't happen in a restaurant. Definitely not a recommendation – neither for the food nor for dealing with guests. Best regards

Believe me, the tandoori lamb was superb. My friends also ate fried shrimp. The room is great. Don't forget to make a reservation, otherwise they don't take it. But it is truly beautiful.

We celebrated my mother's birthday here with children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We had ordered mixed cold and warm starters in advance, otherwise the guests ordered a la carte. An all-round successful evening – highly recommended! I recently moved here and came across this place while looking for a nice restaurant. We tried it out with my girlfriend – and were thrilled! We hadn't made a reservation, but luckily there were still two tables available. However, I recommend booking in advance as it can certainly be busier on other days. An interesting surprise awaited me in the toilet: there was toilet paper next to the urinal - something I've never seen in a restaurant before. A small but thoughtful gesture that I found positive. In addition, disposable towels were provided for hygiene reasons, which once again impressed me. About the food: I ordered the Tavuk Şiş, my girlfriend the rump steak with eggplant, and we both absolutely loved it. We also treated ourselves to the meze plate - and everything was just as delicious as described. The prices are a little higher, but considering the quality of the food and the excellent service, it's worth every penny. We felt completely comfortable and are already looking forward to our next visit. A big thank you to the entire team for this wonderful evening! I can recommend this restaurant without reservation.

I can highly recommend Türkis Restaurant Fisch & Steak House. The ambience there is very much based on the name. I was there myself and dined with my family. My daughter recommends all the desserts. The service was very friendly! Overall the restaurant was very nice. (It's good to try Turkish food)

Food is ok to good. Fish was good. Lamb skewer was ok, but borderline. Salad was TOP. The service was good at the beginning. The waiter was friendly, BUT in the end if you don't pay appropriately, you should get change back. Of course I'm waiting for it. The waiter noticed it after a while and brought me my change and slapped it blankly on the table instead of perhaps bringing it closed in the booklet. That came across as very cheeky. That doesn't work at all. Accordingly, I didn't leave a tip and I won't eat there again.

Went there for dinner yesterday. The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere and was pleasantly quiet. The service was also very polite. However, we were surprisingly disappointed when it came to the food. Unfortunately, the Meze starter was not offered free of charge as usual as is the case with most Turkish restaurants. That didn't stop us from ordering this for a fee. But unfortunately the starter wasn't that tasty and the bread wasn't quite as fresh either. You'd expect something great when you're charging just under €10 for it. Unfortunately, the waiting time for the main course was extremely long (approx. 50-60 minutes), considering that the restaurant wasn't really full. To top it all off, my friend unfortunately had the honor of enjoying a hair in the food, which also motivated me to write this review. The staff was informed about this, they were of course disappointed about the situation and tried to make up for it with Cay and dessert. However, the appetite was already gone. The two stars, exclusively for the ambience and the nice staff.

The food was okay with room for improvement, my steak was very fatty and I had to leave some on the plate because it wasn't chewable, but it was well prepared. Everything was top except for the quality of the meat.

We had a meeting there with ten people, and because half of the group arrived late, we were thrown out. Totally disappointing according to the system it was not possible to record individual orders. The waiter was so rude and said he couldn't provide us with an extra waiter. The atmosphere was very nice, but the waiter or the owner was so unfriendly that we lost our appetite.

We ate at this restaurant after our civil wedding with 60 people and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The two of us have eaten at this restaurant several times before and have always been very impressed. You can go there in small groups if you don't have children with you. However, I cannot recommend the restaurant for large celebrations. Before our ceremony we had a rehearsal dinner where the food was really delicious, and on the day of the celebration the food was also excellent. Nevertheless, there were some problems: We had ordered a 3-course meal with a grill plate for everyone. The Pirzola was missing from the grill plate, even though it was part of the menu. The biggest shock, however, was the cake. We brought our own cake, but only 6-8 guests got a slice. We later found out that the waiter brought half of the cake to the kitchen and even took our cutlery for the cake into the kitchen and kept it there. We only noticed this later when we asked the guests after the celebration what they thought of the cake. Almost no one got a piece!! What an impudence! What particularly disappointed us was the attitude towards children. Although a large area of ​​the restaurant was reserved for us, we were told in advance that the children should stay quiet and not get up. They did this too. Still, it felt like children weren't welcome here. The owner also mentioned to some guests that reserved guests would come from 4 p.m., even though we had booked the room until 5 p.m. This caused some guests to get up early because they thought they would have to vacate the place. The restaurant owner emphasized several times that he prefers German customers and gave us the feeling that he doesn't want to mix foreign customers with German ones, even though he is Turkish himself. Another problem was that we had booked a drinks flat rate, but only one round of tea was served. When asked, they kept saying that the tea wasn't ready. It seemed like they wanted the guests to move faster. Despite the delicious food and the previous agreements, we felt betrayed by these many discrepancies. I cannot recommend this restaurant for large celebrations.

Four of us were there yesterday and what can I say, really disappointed. Let's start with the positive, the food came on time and was really well prepared. The service was nice, but really annoyed us with the main course. We like to order it straight away because a large group is coming and the kitchen is overwhelmed. We didn't comply with this because we had ordered warm and cold starters and didn't know; whether we will have another second helping. During the course of the evening we ordered a mixed fish platter for two people. The owner then came out and said that he couldn't offer it like that because there was only one menu in this constellation and not as an individual. So we were offered an expensive menu for 2 people in order to get the fish platter. Made no sense at all; but we didn't want to discuss. Afterwards the highlight was that we were offered Turkish tea and then charged for it. As a Turkish woman, I know that Turkish tea is always a gesture in our tradition, but I found it really cheeky to pay 2.60 euros per glass. Especially since we ordered enough drinks (several bottles of wine, etc.) afterwards I can say that there are much better and cheaper alternatives to go out for a really tasty Turkish meal and be treated well.

Hello dear turquoise team, Thank you very much for a lovely evening in your house. Your food was really tasty (sea bass). I like to eat fish and you can obviously enjoy it. But your hospitality is also very commendable. It makes you feel comfortable and it's not intrusive or uncomfortable at all, it's just right. Please keep it that way because it's not like that everywhere. Your toilets are also very well maintained and you actually have a rare and unique phenomenon: you use towels that are fresh and washed after use and you even have towels on the men's urinals, which I have never seen before. Overall a great experience and always a pleasure. You now have one more customer and a recommendation can be made to friends and acquaintances without any worries. Thank you.

Yesterday I was in turquoise again, which I often do. This time I went there with 3 friends to play cards. But no matter who I take there with me, everyone has been enthusiastic so far! And that's me too. The food from a very extensive menu is fantastic. This applies to both meat dishes and vegetarian dishes. For the latter, the grilled vegetables are highly recommended. The Turkish rice as a side dish and the hummus are also delicious. If you are very hungry, I recommend a starter with the delicious, warm flatbread with various interesting dips. The service is also very praiseworthy. I have rarely experienced such attentive and polite service staff who are even able to joke and talk to the guests. The restaurant manager himself also takes the time to give a personal, warm welcome and is happy to talk to his guests every now and then if they are receptive to it. The only criticism I can think of is that the flooring on the outside terrace is very old. Luckily, I found out yesterday without asking that it will be renovated shortly.

Unfortunately, I couldn't fulfill my original appetite for a fish platter. Unfortunately the fish platter is only available for 2 people. It's a real shame because it's no additional expense for 1 person. should act. So there was no flexibility at this point!
