Really delicious food, the lady is really funny if you go there for a while but I understand the comments that the first time we were there it was really unusual but you get used to it.

The attitude was terrible. Everyone had free tea, but we were not served. When we left, we asked her why she didn't serve us tea. She said she didn't know and that she could give it to us if we wanted. The dishes were all stained with soy sauce and oyster sauce. They all tasted the same. The plates were broken and there was dirt in the bowls.

I heard online that this restaurant had terrible service and the proprietress was known to curse, so I happily made a pilgrimage here, thinking London's Wang Kee Restaurant had finally found a successor. I'd get to see how the waiters scolded disobedient customers. But I was utterly disappointed. The proprietress only discriminated against Asians and strangers. Tonight, we were the only Asian table; the others were foreigners. The proprietress chatted and laughed with some of the customers, even chatting with them at the door after they paid. As for us, she was constantly snarling at us. Since we were careful not to get the chance to curse her, she only snarled at us. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 The food was reasonably priced and tasted okay, but that wasn't my reason for going. Some say the owner is from Hong Kong, but my accent doesn't sound like it! I’d heard online that this place was famous for its terrible service, with the lady boss even scolding customers. Naturally, I was thrilled to come and witness it for myself — finally, a successor to London’s legendary Wong Kei! I was ready to see her dish out some fiery insults to unruly diners. But what a disappointment. Instead of the equal-opportunity scolding I was hoping for, it turns out she only seems to discriminate against Asians or unfamiliar customers. Tonight, we were the only table of Asian faces, and boy, did we get the cold treatment. Meanwhile, she was laughing and joking with the non-Asian diners, even chatting with them at the door long after they’d paid. As for us? Just a constant death stare. We were so careful not to give her any excuse to yell that all she could do was keep cold towards us 🤣🤣🤣🤣 The food? Cheap and decent enough, but honestly, who cares — I wasn’t here for that. People say the boss is from Hong Kong, but judging by her accent, I have my doubts!

The boss is a disgrace. She is very rude and disrespectful to her guests. She yells at them. My parents and I were yelled at by her in front of everyone else on our first and last visit. Just because we wanted to sit at the last available table. It's news to me that you can't choose your own seat in a fast-food restaurant. Furthermore, there was no reservation sign on the last available table, and there was no sign at the entrance telling you to wait. When two more guests arrived, they were seated at our table of four. Sharing a table with strangers is apparently not uncommon in this restaurant. The boss's tone is very harsh, and the service is simply poor. Even when ordering the food, the boss was very irritable and impatient. The plates with the food were roughly thrown onto the table during serving. As a result, some of the food spilled over the table. Some of the dishes were already broken. Additionally, you're not allowed to share large portions. You don't get an extra plate. The food itself is too salty and just mediocre. If you can't finish the rest, you have to pay an extra €1 to have it packed. Overall, this restaurant is definitely not recommended.

I have been coming here occasionally since 4 years. Frankly I must say that my frequency dropped because they have became increasingly unfriendly. I think the owner is quite the character and very special. I usually can tolerate her base unfriendliness, so it was never really a deal-breaking issue with me. However recently it has became worse, I believe they are getting more greedy. In my previous visit: The pot of green tea which used to be free of charge, costs now ca. 2.5 €. She asked for an additional 1 € for a box so I could take the rest of my food with me. And in the last visit: the shop was almost completely empty, only the middle tables being full. She told me that she will place me and im not allowed to sit where i want: the usual so far. But then she said i have to sit in together with another guest at a small table, while there were many other tables free. I understand that she doesn’t want to block a big table with one customer, but there were also other free small tables. Upon me saying clearly that I don’t want to sit together but alone, she shrugged and said then not possible. So I exited the restaurant. I think this last attitude crosses a border where the unfriendliness is not tolerable anymore. I’m sorry for the bad review, because i liked to food a lot.

This restaurant is amazing, always packed and full of atmosphere. The owner is very special in her own way, and that's because she puts her heart and soul into her business. She's the boss, and that should be respected. Anyone who spends a relaxed time chatting with her will be amazed at how funny, eloquent, and lovable this woman is. I recommend the noodle soup N9 N10 Everything was simply delicious There were eight of us, and everyone ordered something different, and we tried everything. I've never had such delicious Asian food. The noodle soup is a huge bowl 🍲 The prices are very reasonable and for a large portion. It was very busy, but our food arrived promptly and was lovingly prepared and served. The jasmine tea comes free with every meal. And it tastes so good 😊 Highly recommended, but please only take it to go.

I'll be honest, it's a mystery to me how Tu Long is more popular than the Chinese restaurant around the corner! Based on my Chinese friends and my experience with authentic Chinese food, Tu Long was quite underwhelming! (Sorry for the German-English, I can't think of the German equivalent.) First, the food: the dishes there are good value for money! But the taste and authenticity are typically "Germanized" and quite overly sweet, and the noodle soup is otherwise very bland! Don't get me wrong, it tastes good, but if you know the original, it's pretty bad in comparison. Service is relatively fast and not much to complain about, so it's not particularly outstanding. I liked the atmosphere, as it has that typical "improvised" interior style that I encountered everywhere in East Asia, but as I mentioned, I was quite disappointed that the taste didn't live up to the "original" interior! Overall, I understand why people go to Tu Long. If you want a quick and cheap meal, this is the place to go!

A gem in the Charlottenburg concrete jungle. The food is authentic Hong Kong and so unique in Berlin. The extremely charming service completes the experience. All in all, a very nice family business. Considering the value for money, you can't beat it!

The food is cheap and tasty, but the woman who serves is always angry and rude. She gives ridiculous answers even to simple questions and yelled at me just because I put the menu on the table upside-down. It’s close to my uni and my friends like it—otherwise I’d avoid a place that treats customers like this. If she yells at me one more time, I might not be able to hold back my laughter and I have no idea what she'd do then :D

It’s been Tu-Long since I was at Tu-Long.

I have dined there multiple times both when it was crowded and sparse, and the service is always fast given large variety in the menu. The host might seem a bit serious, but they work hard and keep prices low. You pay 7-9 euros for an authentic dish, get free tea and infinite rice, it's an unusually generous offer. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind if they raised prices. Until then, please tip generously — they really earn it.

This was by far the most disgusting customer service I have ever experienced. The fat, older-looking uncle gave us an annoyed look after paying for lunch. For no reason whatsoever, he suddenly became rude and started sending us out even though we were in the middle of packing up our things. When we asked what his problem was, he just mumbled something in broken English and yelled at us to never come back. I've been eating here since 2020 and know the owners - they're nice sometimes, unlike this creature. We really hope they just send him back to his own world.

Beware of one particular employee here - an older, bald man with a bad attitude and zero professionalism. Right after paying, when I just wanted to take my things and put on my jacket, he suddenly started yelling at us for no reason. His English was barely understandable, his behavior was aggressive, and he treated us as if we were unwanted. I met the owners once - they seem nice, but nothing special - but this employee stands out extremely negatively. He's damaging the store's reputation and I really hope they get rid of him soon.

One of my favorite restaurants. Fair priced, well made food. Getting a decent tea and a few slices of orange after each meal just makes it perfect for me The food is close to real chinese cuisine, in price as well as in flavour. So don't be afraid to order even something silly sounding, like cooked lettuce, you might end up very surprised Also the noodle-soups look very delicious. Good value authentic Hong Kong Cha-chaan-teng dishes : D Let’s try the legendary Berliner Australian beef. I ordered the sizzling beef tenderloin for lunch, which costs €8. Even the main course and rice and tea are huge. You can eat the meat until you’re full and it’s a lot of fun. The sizzling sound comes from the iron plate, the beef is marinated tenderly, and the sauce is Hong Kong-style sweet soy sauce, which is very good for cooking. Highly recommended. The service is often criticized. If you know what a Hong Kong-style tea restaurant is, you may feel more familiar with it 😆 The fact that you can place orders in Cantonese is also great~

If I could, I would give 0 stars! Rude and disrespectful behavior on the part of the owner. Very aggressive tone and the allocation of places was like in the military. If you then speak to the lady and tell her that you want to be treated with respect and her tone and behavior are rude, she reacts very aggressively and says: Then leave! They served a quite great chinese food, not authentic kind of chinese food. But every food still meet the taste of how chinese food supposed to be. Super love the foods and the price. Great authentic Chinese cuisine! My girlfriend and I are now regular customers because the price-performance ratio is unbeatable. The comments about the owner here are absolutely not justified. The family that has been running the restaurant for many years works very hard and if you just follow the lady's rules (wait until you are assigned a seat) it is usually always a very pleasant visit.

Do not come here unless you wants to be slapped by extremely bad attitude and services. This chinese lady boss's attitude is extremely bad. Talking to customers as if we are beggers asking for free food. Food was very bad tasting, almost all dishes are sloggy with too much sauces and very sweet. The kitchen seems like does not have proper exhaust system to suck out the cooking smoke and all smell is being circulated in the dining area. You can try coming here if you don't mind the extremely bad attitude and services but just wanted mediocre chinese food which is price cheap and portion is rather big.
