We had just added the restaurant to our list of regular places. Here you found good food and friendly staff. Unfortunately it has been closed for quite some time now. Apparently the focus is on celebrations and events. Multiple announcements about (re)opening on social media or the website are outdated or inconsistent. So we stood in front of closed doors twice.

We celebrated a wedding there. It's a great location for that. Friendly service.

We celebrated our dream wedding in the Truffle Pig. Since we're very busy at work, we weren't able to do much preparation, which is why the truffle pig said yes straight away. Here, the bride and groom have a relaxed celebration, as the Truffle Pig team takes care of all the important tasks. The food was absolutely fantastic, the glasses were never empty. Friendly staff who dance behind the counter in a good mood. Our free wedding ceremony was also held in the truffle pig's garden. So we were able to spend the whole day in this wonderful location. Also worth mentioning here is the DJ Andreas Mann, who was recommended to us by the Truffle Pig and who mastered his task more than well, and Judy Thelen from the florist shop “Blumenmehr”, who also works in cooperation with the Truffle Pig and all of our flower requests in coordination with the Truffle Pig could implement. Absolute recommendation!

My friends and I had a wonderful, cozy evening at the Truffle Pig. The two young waitresses were extremely friendly and the food was really great! We had duck and sous vide beef. Except for the Caipirinha, which was a bit too expensive at €9 for a SMALL GLASS, everything was great! Would recommend it and we would love to come back 😉 We were all priced at €45-55 Parking wasn't a problem that day. Best regards

We had a really delicious meal with you today. We ordered a mix & match platter for the starter and I had asparagus with beef rump for the main course. All delicious. We also had very nice and attentive service. We'd love to come back!

The Truffle Pig in Hilden is a really atmospheric location. I was there as a wedding photographer. The ambience immediately captivated me. And there are numerous opportunities for photo sessions around the restaurant. I can only recommend it to every bride and groom. The service was also very friendly and extremely helpful. There is also enough space for the DJ in a recess with a window view. The dance floor is big enough for all wedding guests. As a wedding photographer, I really liked the location :). Title: A dog paradise for special occasions I had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding anniversary at "Truffle Pig", a restaurant that welcomed not only us but also our beloved four-legged friend. From the warm welcome to the delicious meal, everything was perfect. The ambience was charming and cozy, and the selection of dishes was impressive. Our dog was treated like a VIP, with his own bowl and even a treat bag as a gift! Not only were the staff attentive, but they were also dog-friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. An unforgettable experience for the whole family. We will definitely come back!

Came to this location by chance and was really impressed: the food was plentiful, fresh and extremely tasty 😋 Service very friendly and professional, atmosphere cozy😍 The only drawback is the location in the middle of the industrial area, there are no walk-in customers! We were very impressed. The food was beautifully prepared and beautifully presented. The portions were generous and everyone was full. The service was also great, even dogs are allowed. Unfortunately, the enjoyment was somewhat diminished by a child who ran loudly through the restaurant, climbed on chairs and screamed. This made it really difficult to have a normal conversation at times. I would have liked a small correction from the service staff here.

Very tasty food in a great atmosphere. Unfortunately we waited a long time for the food even though there weren't many guests there. As I said, the food was extremely tasty but for the price, for example, with the salmon, there could have been more sweet potato puree on the plate. Unfortunately, this was only spread very thinly... Or even more bread in the bread basket. Unfortunately no one came to the table and asked if we would like any more drinks.

Food gets 4 stars. My colleagues in the kitchen put the rocket with the pasta with cherry tomatoes in the pan with olive oil, some pepper and salt and then it's fine. When making carppacio, please also dress the rocket with balsamic vinegar. Leave out the Basalmico cream, you have great products here. Service very attentive 😁👍. Unfortunately a bit noisy in the rooms. Price performance otherwise okay. It's just constructive criticism. 😇 We'll be back.✌️🙈

Good food has its price: but a price menu without prices is simply not possible. For native Rhinelanders, heaven and earth still consists of blood sausage! It was so loud at the next table that many other guests left the restaurant alongside us. The staff could have intervened here. A company of 16 people, on the other hand, was really quiet 👂 It is still not possible to tell from the outside of the toilets which ones are for women or men. Decorated with colorful letters they reminded us of the doors in the local kindergarten. Our friends found it unpleasant to be called by the very young staff! Conclusion: there are many good restaurants in the area: I would not recommend the Truffle Pig to friends, family and colleagues ❗

Schönes Ambiente, mein Black Angus Hüftsteak zart, der Spargel knackig und von meiner Begleitung der Trüffelburger saftig. Der Service aufmerksam, obwohl das Restaurant bis auf einem Tisch voll besetzt war. Toller Abend!

Waren mit mehreren Personen vor Ort. Super netter und aufmerksamer Service. Qualität, Zubereitung und Geschmack der von uns gewählten Vor-und Hauptgerichte war hervorragend. Lob an Küche!!! Die Idee, das Dessert via Schwein mit einem Schnaps zu verbinden: sensationell. Hier gerne immer wieder.

Schade ,wir sind gestern mit falschen Erwartungen da gewesen, da wir nicht wussten das es das alte Konzept nicht mehr gibt. Das Essen war gut aber kein Highlight. Also kein Grund extra von Solingen nach Hilden zu fahren. Schade es das alte und besondere Konzept nicht gibt. Service war aber wirklich top.

Wir waren dort im Rahmen unserer Firmen Weihnachtsfeier und es war alles vom Essen über Personal bis zum Ambiente super gut.

Sehr schöner lukuluscher Genuss. Einschränkung lediglich das die Essen zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten kam und wir sehr lange darauf gewartet haben. Bestellung per ipad nicht mehr möglich. Aber das Essen selbst war eine Wucht. Im Gegensatz zu früher jede Menge freie Plätze für einen Sonntag Abend. Hoffentlich haben wir alle noch lange was davon.

Der Abend in diesem Location war einfach perfekt. Das Ambiente sehr angenehm, total nach meinem Geschmack, der Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Was uns wirklich positiv auffiel war, dass es seit langem das erste mal alle unsere Gäste das Essen gleichzeitig serviert bekommen haben. Das ist bei unserer Weihnachtsfeier mit ca 20 Arbeitskollegen noch keinem anderen Restaurant gelungen! Weiter so!!! Das Essen ist vom feinsten gewesen, auch ein Gast, die glutenfrei essen muss, wurde persönlich vor Ort über das Zubereiten des Menüs beraten, einfach nur spitze....Wir kommen definitiv sehr gerne wieder!

Wir haben das Trüffelschwein als Lokal für unser jährliches Weihnachtsessen gewählt und waren super zufrieden. Uns wurde ein separat gestellter Tisch zur Verfügung gestellt, an dem wir problemlos mit bis zu 22 Personen Platz nehmen konnten. Das Essen war geschmacklich super , das Personal super freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Räumlichkeiten wirklich ansprechend. Der Tisch war wirklich hübsch & modern Weihnachtlich eingedeckt. Die Wartezeit fürs Essen war angebracht und jedes Gericht wurde zeitgleich serviert, sodass wirklich alle zusammen anfangen konnten zu essen - das war in anderen Lokalen bisher immer problematisch mit so vielen Personen. Fragen zu den Inhaltsstoffen wurden nett beantwortet und eine Kollegin mit Zöliakie wurde bzgl. ihrer Essensauswahl gut beraten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und beim Essen schon beschlossen bestimmt nochmal wiederzukommen! Danke an das Team für den schönen Abend!

Lecker, freundlich, serviceorientiert in schönem Ambiente.

Nach der Konzeptpause , wieder einmal super lecker essen gewesen. Qualität des Essens war Top. Bedienung sehr freundlich und präsent. Etwas schade ,dass es nun nur noch die Option nach Karte zu bestellen gibt, aber eine gute Alternative um dort wieder essen gehen zu können. Es ist auf jedenfall ein Besuch wert. Ganz klare Empfehlungen 😊

Auch a la Carte ein wunderschöner Laden! Gemütlich und ansprechend eingerichtet, der Service durchweg zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Speisen auf der Karte angenehm überschaubar- macht einen sehrguten Eindruck. Und das Essen ist sehr, sehr köstlich und wunderschön angerichtet! Schöner hätte mein Geburtstag nicht sein könne n😍

Wir haben im Trüffelschwein unsere Hochzeit gefeiert und fanden sowohl das Essen als auch den Service sehr zufriedenstellend. Auch die Planung mit Oxana verlief absolut unkompliziert. Sowohl unsere Gäste als auch wir waren positiv angetan. Können das Lokal als Eventlocation also durchaus weiterempfehlen!

Nettes Restaurant im Industriegebiet mit Aussengastrononie.

Erste mal dagewesen und es gut geschmeckt.

War zum ersten Mal dort. Das Ambiete ist stilvoll und gemütlich, das Publikum ist sehr angenehm. Die Küche ist Top. Haben die Küchenchefin sogar kurz persönlich sprechen dürfen. Sehr freundlich. Persönliche Meinung für die Getränkekarte ggf. Ein „helles“ hinzufügen ? Würde gut passen. Kommen gerne wieder!!

Wir haben auf dem Weg nach Düsseldorf im Trüffelschwein gehalten. Das Lokal ist sehr geräumig und nett eingerichtet. Die Kellnerin sehr freundlich. Die Hauptgerichte waren spitze, der Schweinebauch und der Trüffelstampf haben sehr gut gepasst. Besonders positiv ist die große Auswahl an Drogerieartikeln auf den Toiletten. Wirklich sehr kundenorientiert. Was geht besser? Mehr Trüffel! Im Ernst, das Restaurant heißt Trüffelschwein, aber weder in der Trüffelalioli noch auf den Gerichten hat sich frischer Trüffel hin verirrt. Ich habe gestern erst wieder zum gleichen Preis Garnelen mit Trüffel-Risotto in einem anderen Lokal gegessen und habe eine schöne Schicht fein gehobelten Schwarzen Trüffel auf meinem Gericht gehabt. Wenn man hier etwas großzügiger ist, wären es 5/5 Sterne. Dennoch kommen wir gerne nochmal wieder und probieren den Rest der Karte.

Ich bin vor Kurzen zum ersten Mal beim Trüffelschwein auf Empfehlung essen gewesen und war echt begeistert! Das Essen ist großartig, liebevoll angerichtet und auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und geschmackvoll,wir sind super freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient worden! Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert,wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Tolle Karte mit super Aromen und sehr schöner Optik. Jetzt muss man sich leider entscheiden was man ißt, Konzept auf a la Cart geändert aber den tollen und außergewöhnlichen Geschmack ist man treu geblieben. Gemischte Vor- und Nachspeisenplatte für unentschlossene und Genusssüchtige. Küche nach wie vor TOP! Personal immer freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend! Die hohen Hecken lassen vergessen, dass es ein Industriegebiet ist. Inneneinrichtung unverändert stylisch.

Das Essen war wirklich, wirklich gut. Ich hatte das Pork Belly Himmel & Äd. Das Beste, was ich seit langem gegessen hatte. Leider hab ich den Namen unserer freundlichen Bedienung vergessen.

Wir haben das Restaurant über Google und TripAdvisor gefunden. Da wir nur eine Nacht vir Ort waren haben wir bisher keine Erfahrung in der Gegend. Der Internetauftritt hat uns schnell überzeugt. Die Lage im Industriegebiet war anfangs ungewöhnlich, hat sich aber schnell erschlossen, da hier regelmäßig Events stattfinden und dann wenig Anwohner da sind, die sich beklagen. Ist man erstmal drin, vergisst man die Lage sofort. Es steckt viel Herzblut in dem Laden. Die Essenauswahl ist gut und mehr als ausreichend. Getränke sind vielfältig und die Qualität des Essen ist top. Über allem steht jedoch der perfekte Servie von Merle, - eine echte Serviceperle ;) - sollte der Chef guuut drauf aufpassen. Sie macht einen großartigen Job, ist aufmerksam und hat den richtigen Überblick auch als es voller wurde. Selbst das im Restaurant verteilte Rotweinglas wurde ohne Aufhebens beseitigt und sofort wieder ersetzt, alles mit einem Lächeln und gut gelaunt. Danke !!! Eine echte Empfehlung, der Weg lohnt !! Einen Extra Punkt geben wir dafür, daß es KEIN All you can eat mehr gibt. Diese Konzepte sind völlig überflüssig und komplett aus der Zeit gefallen.

Wir waren am vergangenen Freitag mit Freunde zum Essen im Trüffelschwein. Das Essen, der Service, Preis/ Leistung und das Ambiente waren klasse. Wir kommen wieder!
