Trattoria Sarda in Berlin

We went for dinner together. The antipasti and main courses were really good. Very friendly service. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately, the food did not live up to our expectations, with the exception of the starter (Antipasto Vegetariano), which we liked. However, the lasagna was not successful and our friend who ate it felt unwell afterwards. Out of politeness, he didn't say anything at first, but later had to throw up - just like our friend who had ordered the ravioli. We really regret that because we really appreciate Sardinian cuisine and were looking forward to an authentic taste experience. Unfortunately we couldn't experience that this time and that left us very disappointed.

Small cozy restaurant. Despite the house being full, the service was attentive, super friendly and very patient. So small, so quaint, a little bit of Italy in Berlin. The food was excellent. The gnocchi were filled with goat cheese/truffles in parmesan cream and were amazing. Highly recommended 👍 Finally, the tiramisu made the end of Friday evening just perfect. Any time. Keep it up. Great restaurant!!! The atmosphere is a bit old-fashioned, but I think that's intentional. Still very nice… Fresh food, the gnocchi are awesome. The Sardinian pasta too. Portions are ok and the food is of top quality! Thank you for that. And at the end there’s a grappa on the house. We'll be back...

The staff is very rude! You feel uncomfortable and unwelcome there! We didn't get the same service as other guests...we thought that was pretty unfair. In addition, the service was bad and the food wasn't great. The salad was very bitter and boring. Simply not recommended overall! There are much better restaurants!

Given the numerous Italian places, which know nothing about Italian, I entered with distrust and I must say that I immediately changed my mind. Reason: the really hospitable and friendly staff. The food was excellent like at home in Sardinia (and I'm Sardinian). Excellent environment. I highly recommend going there for anyone who wants to spend an evening eating well with relatives or friends. Thanks again to the owners for the warm welcome. When I return to Berlin it is guaranteed that I know you are there to eat at Sarda. Ajo.

We went for lunch today to celebrate a baptism. The location is welcoming, without taking anything away from the owners (friendly, professional, helpful, affable). The cuisine (excellent) is 100% typically Sardinian, respecting the culinary art "made in Italy"... a combination of flavors and products of the highest quality...... the baked suckling pig "to lick moustache" . Molto authentico! We loved it. We were in Sardinia 4 weeks ago and wanted to spend a holiday souvenir evening here. And that was a success! The food and drinks (Ichnusa, Vermentino, Cannonau) were virtually original, including tagliere. The service was Italian warm. Everything is of high quality with really, really good cuisine. We wait there as a group in the evenings of the week. We were served very attentively and the friendly Italian lady always had a little saying to say. Even when we asked shortly before the main course to move inside due to the approaching cold, we were helped directly and understandingly. The food was really authentic and tasted excellent. Trattoria Sarda - Actually, I should have written a review after my first visit. I've been there twice now, and both times I ate so well that I thought about eating for days afterwards. In addition to some basic dishes (especially starters, pasta and pizzas), there is a slightly dynamic daily menu - this ensures that all ingredients are fresh. There is always a large selection of Sardinian dishes. Very tasty fish and meat dishes - but also vegetarian delicacies. I didn't discover any vegan dishes per se on the menu - but since the service team is very approachable, you can definitely make sure that there's something available by calling ahead. On my second visit, there was a person in our group with celiac disease (gluten intolerance). I called quickly to make sure it was possible to get a gluten-free dish (we were thinking a salad or something). We were completely surprised when we arrived - the waitress immediately noticed that there was at least one gluten-free person sitting with us and was able to give good advice about which dishes were possible (almost all of them) and which were not (bruschetta, for example). Then gluten-free bread actually appeared and since there was also gluten-free pasta on site (thanks to the call), the person was able to choose almost all the dishes as normal. Fantastic. However, it is important to call in advance (at best the day before) to make sure that everything is there. I will definitely go here more often and feast my way through the entire menu - it's nice that you exist, Trattoria Sarda.

Excellent food and totally friendly service… the Pecorino cheese on the antipasti plate is phenomenally tasty and original from Sardinia. Roberto and Daniela are really friendly and nice... and I was able to improve my Italian a bit today too. Full recommendation! Attention, the reviews from the past are from a time when Roberto was not yet in charge of the restaurant! Everything is great now 🤩

Trattoria Sarda is a wonderful restaurant with delicious dishes, delicious wines and attentive service. Above all, we enjoyed the warmth of the owners and decided to hold our small wedding celebration here. Despite ongoing operations, the food and service were fantastic - we're still dreaming about the Pulposalat and Seadas! It was the culmination of a special day. In other words: an absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy a piece of Sardinia in Berlin!

Really great! Very friendly service and super tasty and interesting dishes that I have never seen anywhere else in Berlin. The daily menu is particularly great, the mixed antipasti plate is also great, everything is freshly prepared. We would definitely like to come back!

Our hopes were high! We typically spend most lf the year in Italy so were craving real italian food. First, they forgot our beers completely :/ But ok. Can happen. Pizza was 100% not a real italian pizza unfortunately. I had gnocchi with truffle - was very good!

Original Italian gastronomy with excellent typical Sardinian dishes. If you want to experience a piece of Italy in the middle of Berlin, you should stay there.

It is the most authentic Sardian cuisine including an owner, who knows his wines extremely well and is a proud Sardinian. The seasonal specialties are a must. Always follow the warm host’s recommendation!:)

You feel like you're in Italy! Interesting card that is significantly different than the 08-15 Italian. The stuffed Sardinian pasta wasn't quite as exciting as expected, but still tasty. We will definitely go again when we are in the area.

For me, the trattoria sarda has been the perfect culinary place of longing for over a year. High-quality Italian-Sardinian specialties, interesting autochthonous Sardinian wines and perfect service make every visit to this friendly family business a special experience. I can particularly recommend the vegetarian antipasto caponata, the Sardinian lasagne, linguine alla botarga, osso bucco, fegato, faraona, suckling pig and everything that comes from the sea. but of course also standards like tiramisu.

We went there for valentines and it was wonderful!! Even being full, the timing for bringing the food was perfect, taste was incredibly good and personal very friendly! I’ll return many times

Authentic Sardinian cuisine. Unfortunately we didn't find the price-performance ratio good. We've eaten much better for cheaper. The main courses were tasty but not exceptional. The desserts, especially the tiramisu, were unfortunately very disappointing.

Hier gibt es die beste Focaccia außerhalb von Italien! Auch die Fregola waren hervorragend!!! Der freundliche Service macht den Abend perfekt. Unbedingte Empfehlung!!! :)

Sehr leckerer Italiener - von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert war einfach alles klasse. Zudem gab es noch gute Live Musik. Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen: Bei den Gnocchi dürfte die Portion gerne noch etwas größer sein.

Nach langer Zeit haben wir wieder Roberto in seiner Trattoria Sarda besucht. Und wir sind begeistert. Garantiert kommen wir wieder und probieren sardische Spezialitäten.

Wirklich leckeres italienisches Essen mit aufmerksamen Service. Ich habe mich rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Pastaportionen könnten allerdings einen Tick größer sein. Ansonsten top!

Without doubt the worst alleged Italian food we have ever eaten. After a very busy and tiring day seeing Berlin’s attractions we called in for a pizza on the way back to our apartment. Wife said ‘they can’t mess up a pizza’. Sarda said ‘hold my beer’. When the pizza arrived it was a soggy undercooked mess. We did ask if it could be slightly reheated and who I assume was the proprietor was most dismissive and patronising. We left 2/3 uneaten and the said owner (we assume from his arrogant bearing) sarcastically asked if we wanted ‘a doggy bag’ despite feigning any English earlier. He was clearly most attentive to those ordering more complex expensive meals and dismissed us offhand. If the food has been cooked in a wellington at the bottom of the River Spree it wouldn’t have been soggier. Avoid at all cost.

Sehr angenehmer Service in einem entspannten Ambiente. Das Essen war köstlich und insgesamt gab es viele tolle Gerichte auf der Karte, die wir gern bei weiteren Besuchen probieren werden.

Un tuffo nella Sardegna… Se volete passare una serata tranquilla, in un atmosfera tipica sarda, mangiando del ottimo cibo della cucina sarda, dovete assolutamente passare da Roberto e Daniela! Culurgiones, malloreddus e ravioli fatti in casa con ragù di sartizza (salsiccia) e tanti altri piatti tipici della Sardegna vi faranno sicuramente tornare da loro ancora e ancora. Menù del giorno vastissimo, carne e pesce a vostra scelta. Ottimo anche per i vegetariani! Grande scelta di vini sardi e per finire la serata il dessert fatto in casa, noi in questo periodo abbiamo trovato anche il semifreddo con la marmellata di Saba sarda. Mirto dopo il caffè ci è stato offerto dai padroni di casa, gentilissimi Roberto e Daniela! Grazie Roby e Dany per una bellissima serata, ci avete fatto sentire a casa!
