Trattoria Rathaus Piazza in Berlin

Tonight (17-07-'25) we walked in without a reservation. The restaurant was very full, but they managed to get us a table. The service was superb. We had to send a dish back because we had not disclosed an allergy, totally our own fault, and they immediately made sure we got a new one free of charge. The food was incredible, very tasty and just the right amount. The wine was excellent. Once again, grazie mille per una cena perfetta stasera! 10/10 would recommend.

Good place for a rather cheap quality dinner in Berlin. So so good, authentic Italian restaurant with very good pizza. I had a very good experience, while a friend celebrated his birthday there. Rather a secret spot for locals!

This is a popular pizza shop on the street. The sun shines on the street and the small tables are very neat. The pizza tastes good. I ate it again. The creamy pasta was not too delicious.

The service was terrible. My pizza was forgotten, and no one had even bothered to answer. When I approached a waiter, he simply said he'd check. After waiting another 20 minutes, with everyone at my table already finished eating, a waitress came with my pizza but didn't even apologize. I then wanted the pizza to go and asked if it was possible to slice it. I received an angry response, asking why I wanted it sliced. Ultimately, despite waiting 45 minutes, I had to pay for the pizza and never received an apology. Absolutely not recommended!

It's actually a very delicious restaurant, one I've known for years. But I have to say that one of the waitresses, a bit short and a bit overweight, who wears glasses, is totally unpleasant. I think that's a shame, because the restaurant itself is great.

I went for dinner on the recommendation of a friend. We ordered a variety of pizzas and were very impressed. Ingredients: fresh! Dough: delicious! Taste: wonderful! The 'Crostini' appetizer is highly recommended. It was the best thing I've eaten in Berlin up to that point. The price/performance ratio is hard to beat. Thank you for the great review.

I went there because my German friends from the same area recommended the pizza and said it was delicious. We ordered pizza and pasta; the pasta was average, but the pizza was delicious. One of the guests at the next table kept looking at us awkwardly and constantly complained to us to speak up. Our voices weren't loud enough for her to reprimand her. It seems she feels uncomfortable hearing other people's languages. It was an unpleasant dinner.

We went out for dinner spontaneously yesterday, following a recommendation. That's exactly what a pizzeria is for us. The pizzeria is quite dark and rustic in design, so the flair really comes into its own. Like in Italy. We felt very comfortable. The food was very, very tasty. I haven't eaten such a delicious pizza in ages and the mozzarella salad was simply fantastic, which is exactly how I imagine a mozzarella salad to be. The prices are unbeatable. We will come more often.

It's always very crowded there. It's better to reserve a table. We were visiting Berlin and space was made for us. Everyone very attentive. Unfortunately, I personally didn't like the pizza dough, but otherwise it was good value for money. The ambience, I found it too dark and loud.

Beware theres no way to pay with card, only cash. The food was good.

The Trattoria Rathaus Piazza seems inconspicuous at first and second glance. We were lucky to get a table on the street on a warm midday and were extremely pleasantly surprised. Despite the obvious understaffing, the service was friendly and helpful. The menu is - well, let's say unobtrusive, but pleasantly affordable compared to many other establishments of a similar type. We ate a spaghetti alio, olio e peperoncino and a pizza vegetariana. Both dishes came quickly, were fresh and prepared with high-quality ingredients and would have been good quality at a restaurant twice as expensive. Our request for additional parmesan and pepperoni was met without any problems and quickly. The audience seemed to know the restaurant well - at least some of them - and obviously felt at least as comfortable as we did. The fact that management and service are firmly in Italian hands probably plays a significant role in the positive overall impression. The only downside: I wouldn't have felt comfortable inside the restaurant - the pop music was so loud there that I didn't feel able to have a lively conversation. But such things are of course highly subjective, and others probably go there for exactly that reason.

I almost walked by this place. The small frontage disappeared on a street full of banal store fronts. The sandwich board caught my eye and so did the very good prices. I expected a fast food takeaway and was surprised to find a very charming, small, dark, little trattoria. Vintage Gründerzeit tiles on the walls and floor, red gingham tablecloths and candles. Large greasy bottles of olive oil on the tables. Very cozy. I had lasagna. It was not to my liking as they used a cream tomato sauce but it was meaty and properly prepared. The service was fast and efficient but, unfortunately, very unfriendly. No hello. No goodbye. No thank you. No thank"guten appetit". Nevertheless, I liked the place so much that I intend to try them again.

The staff only demanded cash, which clearly hints at tax evasion on the part of the owner. Secondly, in the kitchen while the food was being prepared there was a man in a jacket who was calmly making coffee for himself. This is a gross violation of sanitary standards - strangers in the kitchen, and even in outerwear, look not only strange, but also extremely inappropriate. As for food, the cocoa was brought cold, and only on the third attempt was it warmed up. The coffee also turned out to be a little warm, and not hot, as it should be. The pizza was decent - 4 out of 5, but this is perhaps the only thing that did not raise questions. The toilet was of average cleanliness, and the tablecloths on the tables were stained, which does not add to the attractiveness of the place. Because of all these factors, I do not recommend this restaurant - there are too many negatives that spoil the overall impression. We visited this Italian restaurant, and honestly, a lot of strange things were happening there. First of all, it was impossible to pay by card, and no one informed us in advance. The staff demanded cash only, which clearly suggests that the owner is avoiding taxes. Secondly, there was a person in a jacket on the kitchen premises while food was being prepared, casually making himself coffee. This is a serious violation of hygiene standards – having unauthorized people in the kitchen, especially in outdoor clothing, is both odd and highly inappropriate. As for the drinks, the hot cocoa was served cold and was only properly heated after the third attempt. The coffee was also lukewarm, not hot as expected. The pizza was decent – ​​4 out of 5, but that was probably the only thing that didn’t raise concerns. The restroom was moderately clean, and the tablecloths had stains, which didn’t help the overall impression. Because of all these factors, I do not recommend this restaurant – too many issues make it a disappointing experience.

Just bad at the moment! Until a few years ago, waaaay better. Pizza was ok, poorly topped... - a grade 3. Price is good for it, but basically only commensurate with the goods/product. Much better elsewhere in Chabu. Then you're happy to pay more. Unfriendly service, that has nothing to do with Bella Italia. Grumpy people... the vulture knows why they're in the restaurant.

It's a pretty good Italian restaurant. Pizza and Italian salad with Buratta was good. Kudos to the staff who served tap water, even though he said they don't usually do so. I ordered beer, but my wife and daughter don't drink alcohol and it's a bit crazy paying stupid money for water which I was carrying in a water bottle.

I think the pizzeria has slacked off. The pizza was delicious, but the pasta was a disappointment. The dishes used to be great, but back then the pizzeria wasn't well known and wasn't so crowded. But friendliness has always been in short supply.

Food good, price performance is right but half the pizza can be folded to take away and that Giving customers aluminum foil just makes no sense. Does a box cost the world? How should I separate the zsm glued covering?

Pizza was ok. However, the waitress was an absolute disaster. Very unfriendly. We felt absolutely uncomfortable there. Unfortunately, we felt stupid when it came to payment. If you want to visit a nice restaurant, you've come to the wrong place

ACTUALLY 5 stars because as ever a little piece of Italy in our neighborhood with authentic cuisine and very customer-friendly prices. You hardly find anything like this anymore and deserves to be highlighted. HOWEVER, the lady's non-binding, impersonal, taciturn service simply leaves you speechless and is simply incomprehensible. What a shame!

Als Einzelperson ist man dort nicht willkommen. Ich war allein unterwegs. Es gab im Biergarten des Lokals ein paar freie Tische. Und dennoch hat man mir einen hässlichen Tisch abseits des Hauptbereichs zugewiesen, unter Begründung, dass andere Tische für 2-3 Personen gedacht sind. Ich fühlte mich total diskriminiert und bin gegangen. Nie wieder!

Was there on Sunday July 2nd with my sister and her friends, value for money is great but the waiters are sometimes tired and go around you except for a nice girl with a short haircut! If you're reading this, you know you're the most beautiful girl in Berlin, I'm afraid to tell you while working so you'll get it wrong :)

Everything mediocre. Pizza salami okay, but not great. Price is cheap, yes. But only cash payment, very annoying, should have been stated when placing the order. And didn't get a receipt! Just a handwritten note...

This is literally one of the most authentic Italian restaurant in west of Berlin. Very affordable price with friendly service. You can easily close your eyes and order any dish.. My personal favorite is their Pizza Mista & creamy chicken pasta. 5 stars given without hesitation 👍 reservation recommended for dinner.

Small restaurant with around 25 seats inside, terrace on the street with around 20 seats. Super tasty pizza and pasta, salad wasn't convincing. Cheap prices. For me the best pizza in Charlottenburg!

Unfortunately, the store has deteriorated enormously in recent years. The basic concept of pizza at a low price still works quite well, but the rest of the dishes are completely forgettable. You can tell that there are no real chefs at work. I definitely don't recommend taking a risotto or something similar!!! When paying, an amount was verbally stated which, after requesting the invoice, was almost €10 above the actual invoice amount...you can imagine your part, it's good that I asked again.
