The best pizza ever! We were passing through and wanted a bite to eat in the evening. We were absolutely thrilled; it was the best pizza ever. You could tell from the taste that the dough had been cooked for a long time and the crust was deliciously dark. Also, great value for money 👍

Great pizza, great Italian, real Italian, friendly service

My hiking friend and I visited this restaurant on the evening of August 28, 2025. It was busy. The quality of the food was very good, but the service was abysmal. Despite repeated requests, we had to wait well over an hour before we even received our food. When asked about this, the "waiter" was extremely arrogant, uncooperative, and argumentative. Recommendation: Change the waiter urgently!

The ambiance is very nice. Waiting an hour or more for food that ends up burnt when there aren't many customers isn't pleasant. The pizza was also quite bland.

Unfortunately not. The name trattoria is usually associated with a more upscale Italian restaurant, but that's completely wrong here. The ambiance was absolutely terrible; the penne fresca with chanterelle mushrooms, strips of beef fillet, and Parmesan cheese were anything but al dente and tasted only of oil and tomato. Furthermore, the portions were very small. Everything takes a long time, which is likely intended to disguise the quality, as the menu obviously states that everything is freshly prepared. When asked how the food tasted, they gave an honest answer. The reply was that it would be passed on to the sous chef, which said it all, without words.

Friendly, good pizza, everything relaxed. It's doable.

A typical Italian restaurant with delicious pizza and pasta, centrally located. A classic menu with appetizers, pizza, pasta, and dessert at reasonable prices. There is indoor seating and a terrace. Friendly service completes the offerings. Pizza and pasta to go are also available. Ordering is easy by phone.

Small and cozy. The salad was well-seasoned. The pizza was crispy and delicious. The service was very friendly.

I can only speak for the pizza, which was quite soggy, salad is served with the meal much too late and the ambience is mediocre, you sit right next to the car park while you eat, a little screening would have been appropriate.

Despite the late hour, we still got something to eat late. Entrance was not suitable for disabled people. We were surprised and found a very good Italian restaurant in beautiful Treuchtlingen. If I'm back in Treuchtlingen, I'll go here.

Cozze alla panna. Muscheln mit Lauch und Sahnesoße. Gibt's hier für Freunde des Hauses. Sehr zu empfehlen. 😉 😋 Unbedingt mal ausprobieren. Seeeehr lecker!!!

Good pizza. Good dough. Great fresh noodles. Fair prices.

There were six of us eating (including two children) and had 3* pizza, once gnocchi, pasta and lasagna. The food came quite quickly and we all really enjoyed it. For me it's currently the best pizza in Treuchtlingen - by far. Service/friendliness was also great. Ambience: Significantly better than the other two Italians in Treuchtlingen, but somehow a bit too “clean”. A few plants or small flowers on the tables would definitely help.

The food is very tasty, whether pizza or pasta. There are also small portions. The chairs in the garden are comfortable and you can sit protected from the wind. The service is attentive. Just try it!!

Yes, that was nothing at all. There isn't a single really good restaurant in Treuchtlingen. Shame.

There were 5 of us and almost all of us ate the fresh pasta in different variations... it was a poem!!! Pizza is also very, very tasty. And to top it all off, there was a limoncello. Thank you for the lovely evening in Treuchtlingen.

My pizza was missing the main ingredient! Then I didn't have to pay (I found it very accommodating)! However, the waiting time for food is already very long! We were even warned by the table next door. 🙈 Our waiter was very nice and made a tremendous effort! Conclusion: We will definitely go again. 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

Great pizza!!! Very good dough and tastes excellent! Pizza Hawaii with fresh pineapple pieces. You have to go very far to get this good quality. The owner comes from Salerno and knows what pizza should taste like. We were "only" passing through, but everything including service was great!

Leider nicht mehr die Qualität wie beim vorherigen Pächter. Da gab es zu den Calamari Kartoffeln, sehr leckeres Gemüse nach Saison und Salat. Jetzt gibt es fertige Wedges und auch einen Salat. Die Calamari sind das Geld leider nicht mehr wert.

Faire Preise. Schnelle Bedienung und kurze Wartezeit Essen war sehr lecker. Zentrale Lage in der Innenstadt .

The owner of the house cooks here personally and obviously the whole family helps out here. They take time for their guests and look after the children warmly and in an Italian way. There is a kind word for every guest. About the menu: a manageable selection that offers everything you expect at first glance. In addition to classic antipasti and house-made pasta variations, standard pizzas are also offered. But they also offer unusual pizzas without tomato sauce that are hard to find anywhere else. There are also salads, meat and fish dishes to suit every taste. The chef obviously values ​​freshness and a clear menu, as it is neither overloaded in terms of content nor excessively priced. The meals we ordered were prepared quickly and the house-made bread was already a delight. The pizza was extremely tasty and deliciously topped. The Saltimbocca, including the side dish and sauce, were excellently seasoned and the meat was perfectly buttery-soft. The drinks menu is also well stocked and includes Crodino, which is not found everywhere. Wines and beers are selected and every taste and budget can be catered for. The espresso was also strong, tasty and exactly as hoped. An absolute recommendation in a wonderful atmosphere. Reservations are definitely recommended and the outdoor seating makes you want to get into summer.

2xBestellt: Wir haben nun schon 2x Pizza dort bestellt und im Anschluss abgeholt. Das Personal ist freundlich und (fast) alles hat super funktioniert. Die Pizzen haben eine gute Größe und noch wichtiger, sie schmecken auch gut. Jedoch habe ich auch schon deutlich bessere Pizzen gegessen. Zu dem Zeitpunkt, als wir Pizza bestellen wollten, war es schwierig eine Speisekarte online zu finden. Haben uns dann durch GoogelBilder gewühlt und eine Karte gefunden. Besuch im Restaurant. Besuch im Restaurant 8 Monate später: Wir waren zum Mittagessen im Restaurant, diesmal haben wir keine Pizza bestellt, sondern ein Nudelgericht, eine Vorspeise, sowie eine Hauptspeise mit Fleisch gegessen. Leider muss ich sagen, dass die Gerichte uns überhaupt nicht überzeugen konnten, weder optisch noch geschmacklich. Für die Vorspeise wurde meines Erachtens nicht mehr als eine Packung geöffnet, der Hauptgang war Fleisch mit einer fertigen Soße und mit Fertigkartoffeln aus der Fritöse, preislich auch viel zu hoch.... Ich möchte die Gerichte gar als langweilig und fade betiteln. Daher muss ich meine Bewertung leider von 4 auf 2 Sterne abändern. Der Service war in Ordnung. Mehr nicht. Alles in allem kann ich den Besuch nicht empfehlen, auch wenn ich weiterhin die Pizzen gut finde, zumindest bis vor einiger Zeit waren sie es noch.

Nachdem es im nahen Weißenburg keinen empfehlenswerten "Italiener" mehr gibt, fahren wir die 10 Kilometer nach Treuchtlingen GERNE ! Bruschette, Tomatensuppe, die Klassiker-Nudelgerichte - besonders die frischen Nudeln (mit Steinpilzen!) absolut lecker und "viel" ! Die Pizzen werden - wie ALLE Gerichte (!) NUR mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet : KEINE Dosen-Pilze. KEINE Dosen-Paprikas. Mein Highlight sind die "Calamari alla griglia". KEIN alter, bereits gekeimter Knoblauch. KEIN "Gummi"-Tintenfisch, welcher bereits "riecht". Perfekt gegrillt. Die Portionen sind dermaßen üppig, daß wir uns regelmäßig die Vorspeisen teilen (dieser Hinweis ist jetzt schlecht für´s Geschäft ...). Die Pizzen sind kaum zu "schaffen", weswegen wir uns manchmal die "Reste" einpacken lassen und mitnehmen. Alternativ verzichtet man auf Abendessen/Frühstück. Die Trattoria existierte bereits bevor sie von Famiglia Vertuccio übernommen und von Grund auf liebevoll renoviert wurde. Zuvor war das Lokal eine heruntergekommene, heruntergewirtschaftete Bruchbude. Antonio arbeitete vorher in Eichstätt als angestellter Koch und wagte das Risiko, sein eigener Scheff zu werden. Getränke und Vorspeisen kommen prompt. Bei den Haupgerichten - in Italien sind Spaghetti keine Hauptgerichte ! - kann´s aweng dauern, jedoch saß zu keinem Zeitpunkt Irgendjemand noch hungrig, geschweige durstig, im Wirtsgarten. Bedenken sie, es ist ein Familienbetrieb UND, haben Sie schon mal für 10 Tische gleichzeitig gekocht ?

Fijn Italiaans restaurant. Heerlijke pizzas en andere Italiaanse specialiteiten. Lekkere wijnen en bieren. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Ik kan het aanbevelen!

Wir waren dort zum Abendessen in der Gartenanlage. Der Bestellvorgang dauerte schon einige Zeit, obwohl der Biergarten nur halb voll war. Auf das Essen haben wir dann insgesamt 45 Minuten gewartet. Da war es schon fast dunkel. Wir haben unsere Pizza dann im Dunkeln gegessen, da außer einem Strahler am Eingang kein einziges Licht in diesem Garten war. Die Tischkerzen wurden dann auf den Tisch gestellt als wir gingen. Bewertung der Pizza kann keine abgegeben werden, da das Auge auch mitisst und dies war nicht möglich. Noch was: Es gibt eine Pizza "Mare e Monti" - da ist nicht mal "Mare" drauf!!! Fazit: uns hat es nicht gefallen!

Sehr gutes Essen, schnell und freundlich. Mein Tip: die frischen Nudeln zB mit Lachs oder mit Steinpilzen und Rinderfilet. Aber auch die Pizza sah gut aus 👍🏻
