There was ham in my “Carbonara” with sauce that tasted canned and chunky parmesan that was already dried up and crusty. “Carpaccio” seems to have been bought at the store and simply transferred to a plate. Store bought bread not particularly fresh either. Cocktails and tiramisu were fine but nothing more. Waitresses were very pleasant, a second star for them only. If you’re just hungry you can get food here but it will have nothing to do with Italy.

Very, very pleasantly surprised. We've been looking for a good pizzeria for a long time and finally found one. The staff is friendly, the pizza is nice and thin, and it tastes excellent. We'll be happy to come back. We only picked up three pizzas to eat at home, but they were top-notch. We highly recommend it.

I love going to LaFontana. I like the classic Italian atmosphere there. The staff is always very friendly and gives you a warm welcome. The food is always great; I've never been disappointed, and I don't always order the same thing. I highly recommend LaFontana and I'm always happy to come back. It's definitely my favorite Italian restaurant!

I can only recommend Trattoria La Fontana. Delicious food, especially very good starters, and the pasta... fantastic.

It was definitely authentic Italian cuisine with friendly service. We were in a group, but what I found unfortunate was that one of the employees behaved completely differently towards me than towards the other male colleagues. I found that really disappointing. Nevertheless, the food and the atmosphere were great.

We had reserved a table for a birthday party. It was a good thing that we got a table that was in the corner of the room so that the dog could sit next to the table undisturbed. Then it was a matter of waiting, waiting until someone took the drink order, waiting until the food order was taken, waiting even longer until the soups finally came, waiting further for the main course. There was bread and olives to tide us over until the soup. Reason for the long waiting times: everything was full outside. Only partially understandable since it was empty inside. The food was ultimately delicious, but wait. When we pointed out when paying that we could perhaps nicely point out that it would take longer and keep the guests happy with a drink on the house, everyone was given a schnapps on the house at the end. Conclusion: nice restaurant, good food, but waiting for over an hour was definitely too long for us.

Over 1 hour waiting time for the starter soup. The main course took another almost 45 minutes. That's not possible. The meal went like this. The sauce was a bit bland. The noodles were good.

With so many positive reviews, what else is there to add? Maybe I'll think of something else. … The wonderfully friendly and charming waitress who not only serves the guest, but also makes sure that they are well. The entire ambience that feels like a short vacation in Italy. The music, the furnishings and of course the excellent cuisine, all supported by the high quality and authenticity of the host and owner. Many people can learn something from this way of developing and running a company. We were just passing through, but would love to come back when we're nearby. Keep it up, impressive!

I highly recommend this restaurant; everything was delicious. It's a lovely little family business from Sicily! Great service; we felt like we were back in Taormina/Giardini Naxxos/Catania for a bit (we love Sicily and go back every year for vacation). Congratulations to the family and many more guests. The food was very tasty, which is also important. Pasta and pizza were very plentiful. The taste of the meat dish was also great, but the side dishes were unfortunately ridiculous for a main meal. The tables were very close and the service was sometimes good. Plates had already been cleared away and the pizza was still in hand.

Fui a comer a este restaurante porque era tarde y estaba cerca del hotel y abierto (que muchos otros cierran a las 10)… el sitio la verdad es que es muy chulo y agradable, y el personal muy simpático… la carta es muy extensa.. en mi caso pedí simplemente una pizza, que la verdad es que estaba bastante rica. Lo único, es que la sacaron muy rápido, lo cual me sorprendió, aunque, como dogo, masa y sabor bastante buenos. Me dieron un aperitivo cortesía de la casa de aceitunas variadas y pan de pizza con aceite y especias (muy rico). Se agradece. Es un sitio correcto y a previo adecuado.

Went there for dinner and was thrilled by the huge pizza, which was impressive both in terms of taste and price. For dessert there was delicious ice cream and good coffee. I'd love to come back.

Super tasty food and very well attended. The service didn't ask if you wanted any more drinks and paying with a credit card wasn't possible and the EC card machine only worked to a limited extent. Luckily I had enough cash with me.

Es ist gemütlich und sauber, die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und schnell. ABER das Essen ist mangelhaft. Bruscetta war ein saurer Tomatensalat auf Brot und die Calzone war absolut schlecht. Die Pilze waren kalt und roh, und es war, wie auf dem Bild zu sehen, ein gekochtes Ei drin.. Das ist keine Calzone. Den Besuch kann man sich sparen.

It was my first time eating there and I was very impressed. Quality, service simply perfect. It's the little things that they do really well, for example the waiter walks around with parmesan and asks if you want anything else. And the pizza simply tasted and looked very, very good. So things can only get worse this year I should go somewhere else for Italian food. A level of operation on a completely different level, really very good. A small “gift” starter baguette with olives. To bridge the time These are the small but big things. Or a second fork for dessert. If we had stayed any longer, my girlfriend probably would have married the waiter. You really should have eaten there. 10 out of 10 👍

Unfortunately, price-performance doesn't match. Too expensive for the quality offered. The furnishings are appropriate and pleasant, and there is also a summer terrace. Since we were the only guests at 6 p.m., the food came quickly. The spaghetti carbonara tasted very starchy, almost more like a "cream sauce from a bag". Liver with onions was tasty, but at 22.90 it was really expensive for the few small strips of liver, which was deliciously dressed with onions. (If there was white wine here, you should write that on the menu) This was served with ('rosemary') potatoes. Conclusion: We felt the price was too high or the quality was too low, depending. Recommended: “If nothing else is available”

A popular restaurant for years with a lovely Italian ambience inside and out. The employees are very friendly and the ordering process goes quickly because new guests are quickly recognized and served. The food and drinks are delicious, keep it up! I find the Italian phrases shouted by the boss and some employees very funny. For in between meals I recommend the limoncello 👍🏼

We had a long wait on Saturday evening, even though there wasn't a lot of activity. I wonder how long you wait for your food when there are more guests. Spaghetti Carbonara was very tasty, but served without the Parmesan cheese I ordered. The food for my companion was rather meager. Beef steak with vegetables and a side salad was well prepared but for the high price it could have been more side dish. We refrained from ordering dessert because the service staff simply walked past the empty plate that had been put aside several times and it must have been 10 minutes before it was cleared away.

I always feel welcome at Trattoria La Fontana... the friendly smiles of the guests make the atmosphere very pleasant for the guests. The service is attentive and the cuisine is typically Italian, varied and tasty. Even when the house is completely full, the innkeeper tries to find a solution and doesn't wave it off too quickly. We noticed this very pleasantly a year ago. Keep it up. One more request... labeling the vegan and vegetarian dishes on the menu would be helpful when selecting the dishes. It's nice that you remain loyal to Freiberg. We look forward to our next visit. 🍝🍕🇮🇹❤️

really really good ! Staff, food and ambience... everything is perfect! So... if you want to eat a really good pizza where the price is right, come here!!

The stuff was really friendly and helpful, the inside was nice and cozy, but the outside was a bit basic and not really thought through. There was nothing on the tables and they didn't bring anything. You can't really keep clean the outside tables, so I would expect at least some sort of mats to be put under the plates. The utensils were brought wrapped in a napkin and that was the only napkins on the table, so eventually your knife and fork ended up on a dusty table. Also, we ordered spaghetti carbonara. The pasta was tasty, but not really a carbonara. It was just a nice spaghetti dish with ham and cream. Kids enjoyed their pizza from the kid's menu, good size and taste.

The food was normal, only the service today from one waiter was very bad. It was more important to him to sit in the entrance area with a cigarette and drink a glass of wine instead of properly serving the guests. The bread and olives were forgotten, some tables didn't get it, others didn't get it, the food was delivered incorrectly, other guests had to wait forever for menus, etc. I'm not used to something like that from the restaurant and it wasn't too busy. Another question, why can't I pay with a credit card these days? A PITY

We were there with friends and ate one of the best pizzas in Germany! The fragrant dough, the fresh tomato sauce, excellent quality. The pizza maker was really good and very professional in preparing the pizzas quickly. I can only warmly recommend the place and it is good at it THE PIZZA COOK!TOP TOP TOP 10 WITH AWARD!

This evening I had a really good meal here at Trattoria La Fontana with my two (big) children at the end of a trip to Terra Mineralia in Freiberg. We received a friendly welcome and were lucky to get a table without a reservation. Shortly after us, the restaurant filled up quickly, which is certainly an indicator of the quality of the establishment. Food and drink came quickly despite the house being quite full and it was really delicious. Everything is still hot, pasta is perfectly al dente and my son's pizza is the size of a car tire, well almost :) pretty big :) The service was always attentive and friendly. I think it was the boss himself who loosened up the atmosphere even further with a few small but not intrusive jokes. After paying, we each received a plate of sweets on the house as a little surprise. As a dad and payer, I like to tell myself that maybe it was because I was happy to pay a little more in tips or because I had a short but nice conversation with the presumed boss, but it was probably the charm of my very mature teenage daughter that made us do this small gesture. Anyway, not a given and a really nice gesture. In short, really a great Italian restaurant with delicious food, nice ambience, friendly service and an overall pleasant atmosphere. A really tiny criticism would be that I would have liked the soft drinks to be chilled. But if you don't want to eat here because of this small point of criticism, it's your own fault. Unfortunately, we don't live in Freiberg ourselves, but if we come close again, we'll definitely eat here. :)

Recently something happened in front of the restaurant that I saw from my window and called the police and filed a report. The owner of La Fontana punched some young blonde man with blue eyes in the face after a loud conversation. Luckily nothing further happened to the young man. The young man meant something about the owner visiting Chinese hookers in his house. That definitely sounds exciting and is there something going on with the guy at La Fontana? I've always been suspicious of him because he's threatened other people. The police were there and took his personal details. I testified as a witness. I believe on March 13th. That was around 9 a.m. in the morning. A colleague told me something different, but he also wanted to do his own review on Google.

Friendly service, good food and reasonably priced. Only the double espresso tasted more like a portion of coffee had been prepared with twice the amount of water.

Very good pizzeria with very friendly service and fast service. Reservation is definitely an advantage as it is very busy even during the week.

A visit here will blow your mind. Staff who are attentive, competent and friendly. An atmosphere as if you were sitting in an Italian trattoria in Rome, Florence or Nice right on the market square. First there were olives with bread, homemade with olive oil. The dishes are terrific, tasty, well-filled plates and yet inexpensive. You should definitely enjoy the Limocelli.

Very tasty food and a cozy beer garden in summer

Waren auf der Durchreise und echt hungrig. Das Essen - Knoblauchsuppe und verschiedene Pizzen sowie Panna Cotta und Tiramisu - war sehr gut. Minuspunkt: Eine italienische Bedienung, die weder "Zuppa di Aglio" noch "Caffè lungo" versteht (obwohl ich sehr gut Italienisch spreche), und die Angebote sogar so in der Karte stehen, und stattdessen meine vermeintlich falsche Aussprache "korrigiert", geht gar nicht. Auch musste ich "Pizza bianca" (also Pizza ohne Tomatensauce) wortreich erklären und bekam dann nur einen abschätzigen und ungläubigen Blick. Überdies war die Atmosphäre sehr hektisch, und wir wurden von vier Servicekräften abwechselnd bedient, was das Ganze sehr ungemütlich machte. Und das obwohl nur wenige Tische besetzt waren. Und das Ganze noch für einen recht stolzen Preis. Aber wie wir beim Rausgehen mitbekommen haben, sind die Betreiber gar keine Italiener, was zumindest mal das Nichtverständnis für meine italienische Bestellung erklären würde. Dann sollten die Gäste aber auch nicht mit "Buonasera" begrüßt werden...

Essen dauerte ewig ( über 1h). Andere Gäste die nach uns gekommenen sind hatten ihr Essen eher

wartezeit samstag abend 2 stunden; beim essen eine pizza vergessen und beim anderen essen zutaten nicht entsprechend der bestellung geliefert.

Wir waren am Abend für ein Geburtstagsessen vor Ort. Freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Auch finde ich das Restaurant sehr schön eingerichtet. Sehr zuvorkommend wurden wir nach dem zuweisen des Platzes gefragt ob wir einen anderen Tisch möchten, weil wir direkt beim Zugang zu den Toiletten waren, was aber überhaupt nicht störend war. Gerne hätte ich 4.5 Sterne gegeben (was nicht geht) und möchte jetzt anfügen warum ich keine 5 Sterne gegeben habe. Die Geräuschkulisse der anderen Gäste war sehr laut. Da kann zwar das Restaurant nichts dafür, aber das hat uns alle am Tisch etwas gestört. Ein normales Gespräch über den Tisch war vereinzelt nicht normal möglich. Die Bruschetta waren sehr lecker und die Calzone auch. Allerdings möchte ich da anmerken das die Calzone von mir 5 Sterne bekommen hätte wenn statt des in Scheiben geschnittenen gekochten Ei`s, ein rohes Ei im inneren mit gebacken worden wäre. Das ist Kritik auf sehr, sehr hohem Niveau und das Essen war sehr lecker.

Výborná a krásná restaurace. Byli jsme zde s manželkou a dali jsme si výbornou pizzu. Personál byl skvělý a nejspíš jsme viděli i majitelé restaurace čím je tímto zdravím. Ceny jsou dobré a jídlo je perfektní. Děkujeme za moc krásné a milé gesto ke sv. Valentýnu, kdy dostala má žena krásnou růži. Děkujeme a přeji Vám ať se daří!

Wir haben spontan reserviert und wurden gern empfangen. Es war ein wunderschönes Ambiente mit herzlicher Bedienung. Mit dem Essen waren wir mehr als zufrieden und empfehlen gern weiter.

Wir waren das erste mal im Trattoria essen und waren begeistert. Die Speisen und der Service waren hervorragend. Eine klare Empfehlung.
