Trattoria " L´Opera Siciliana " in Berlin

We were there on my birthday in February. I think it's okay that we couldn't get the specific table we reserved. But we were seated at a table where we could barely move. That was a bummer for me, as I use crutches and had difficulty moving. The waiter was obviously uninterested in serving us. He didn't really listen to our orders, and something immediately came out wrong. He also forgot about us several times and preferred to chat in Italian with the group that had caused us to sit so squashed together. The food was, as usual, good. It's a shame; I've enjoyed it there before and had hoped to go back more often. But unfortunately, this wasn't my first experience like that.

Good food with good service. There were 4 of us there and we were all very satisfied. The service was super nice and we enjoyed everything about the food. Salad was fresh. It is better to make a reservation on Saturdays as it is full. Price/performance is right here. We recommend it. Great, keep it up.

I was there for the first time last week and was completely satisfied. From the appealing ambience to the great and friendly service and last but not least the delicious food, everything was great. Let's take a look again.

A fine restaurant serving Italian cuisine. The ambience is cozy, and because there are several rooms it is not too loud even when there are a large number of guests. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is fresh and delicious. I ate stuffed pasta with porcini mushrooms from the special menu, see below very good. The other dishes were also eaten with pleasure. The portions are reasonable in terms of price-performance ratio. Unfortunately there is a step to the restaurant which can be overcome with the help of the helpful staff.

Very nice staff, really good Italian food. Particularly recommended: the regularly changing special menu, where you can almost always find something special.

There were four of us eating. The staff is super attentive. Our friends found the food extremely tasty. The seafood salad was the best he's ever eaten. Everything was fine. Absolutely recommended.

Good Italian cuisine with great service

Just try harder again! Pizza Scampi......exactly 7 small pieces on it (you know it differently)...Pizza edge not only crispy but burnt black......what a shame! The chef must have changed or had a bad day!!

Absolutely not recommended. First the waiter forced us into something similar to antipasti, although none of us knew whether it would cost us or not. Then in the end €30 (????!!) for a record that we never ordered. In addition, the actual food didn't arrive until 1.5 hours after we ordered. But the best thing was that the pizzas were completely wrong and the one other dish was completely missing. The waiters understand NOTHING. Thank you for ruining our Christmas party! TOP!

The best Italian in Berlin? We have had a holiday apartment in Spandau since 2006, and when we go on holiday we don't like to cook. That's why we tried out a lot of restaurants. We found this restaurant completely by chance and now we don't even look anymore. Everything is at hand here. Nice service, beautiful (homemade) food, good ambience and the prices are OK. We come back, again and again, and actually don't understand why you can get a table almost every evening.

Hello, We ordered food from you today because as a family with 2 small children we wanted to have dinner on the table relatively quickly and without any problems. After more than an hour we were all very hungry and the food still wasn't there. I called and was told the order was 15 minutes late, they tried to call but it was the wrong number. All I can say is that I checked: I entered the correct number. So we kept waiting and no food came and no food came. In the end our children were completely overtired, just cried and then only ate vegetables from the fridge and we put them to bed. Only 40 minutes!!! After our phone call, the food finally arrived and now the crowning achievement: a pizza that was completely burnt from the bottom, one pizza luckily only a little bit, the foccacia much too hard... We are extremely disappointed (especially because we have actually found this restaurant and its quality to be very good) and this order only made the evening even more annoying. I really had to get this off my chest... I understand when there's a lot to do and an order gets lost or something like that. But instead of honestly telling ourselves that this is the case and that we still have a long wait, we seem to have been silenced by excuses. So we waited instead of looking for another alternative for our children other than raw vegetables... That and the poor quality make me very angry and disappointed.

It was very tasty, service was great and attentive, very cozy. We have nothing to complain about 👌🙋

A loving service from the waiters from start to finish and really great food. The children received a Mickey Mouse pizza and were absolutely thrilled. My cordon bleu was perfect and the pasta was like traveling to Italy. The ambience is really successful and invites you to stay. Walking out of the restaurant is really difficult :-)

We had dinner here this evening, my wife had pasta with truffle paste, I had the L'Opera Siciliana pizza, olives with bread as a starter. The food was a dream, not overly seasoned, not salty, etc., just perfect! And a decent portion. Price-performance is absolutely top and justified. The atmosphere is very cozy, the tables are lovingly set and the service is extremely friendly and absolutely interested in the guest. The toilets are also super tidy. We would definitely like to come back!

L’Opera Siciliana is my favorite neighborhood spot. Food is good, staff extremely friendly even to non German speaking customers (which is not always the case). I waited for a bit to be seated and got a complimentary glass of Prosecco while I waited, which never happened to me in Berlin before. They treat the customer very well! When ordering, the delivery is also good.

Great salad with chicken, lasagne was a bit overcooked this time (too soft)... nice accommodating service, will definitely go back... Addition ... Lasagna was still cold inside, even though the plate was bubbling... it can happen, but it shouldn't - it was remedied... everything was fine :)

Me and my friend had dinner there on the night of June 16 after a soccer game for Euro2024. We shared my Pizza Capricciosa and his chicken schnitzel, veri large portions of reach. Amazing food and atmosphere, berry friendly and funny staff. The restaurant is listed in Berlin but is is actualy in Berlin suburb of Spandau, two stops from the end of bus line M45. It is a good option for food if you are staying at hotel Christophorus or around.

We ate there on a recommendation. And we weren't thrilled. The pizza tasted very sour, like tomatoes. The taste of the pizza base was very yeasty. The gnocchi were already slightly soggy. Since we didn't have a reservation, we sat in the hallway. The service was too quick for us. Somehow it felt like it was done.

Good day! We visited an Italian tavern today. We made a table reservation online in advance. But thank God we live across the street, we came to confirm, but no one even knew! But we were lucky, there was a table for 5 people. We ordered carpaccio, two pizzas, carbonaro pasta, and a fish dish (pike perch) from the chef. I note that the carpaccio and pizza were excellent, but the chef’s dish made me want to spit it out onto my plate just after trying it! Even the hospital doesn’t serve such dry, tasteless fish! No salt, no pepper, not even lemon was added during cooking, and it was overcooked. We waited a long time for pasta, but they brought pizza first instead! After repeated reminders, when the mood had already disappeared, they finally brought it. You can eat... I’m generally silent about alcohol: we ordered white rum, the first time they explained that there was no cola. They brought a second portion for cocktails, but we refused. Cocktails were left at the expense of the establishment! Well, at least they compensated somehow. I understand perfectly well that there are a lot of people, something can be confused, but it left an unpleasant aftertaste! And the chef’s dish sucked, although it should have been the most delicious for 21 euros.

Das Essen ist immer super lecker. Nur schade, dass man keine einfache Salami Pizza online bestellen kann. Wäre über Lieferando einfach, statt nur wegen dieser Pizza anzurufen.

Wir gehen regelmäßig hier essen und sind immer wieder begeistert!!! Die Bedienung is auch total lieb und verständnisvoll, alles in allem is es ein tolles Restaurant!!!!

Hervorragende Erfahrung bei L'Opera Siciliana! Die Pizza war köstlich, mit frischen Zutaten und einer perfekten Kruste. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, die gemütliche Atmosphäre und auch super Lieferservice rundete das Gesamterlebnis ab.

Kurzfassung: Frisches Heißes Essen Toller Service und Umgang mit Kunden Hübsches Ambiente Wermutstropfen: Zuviel los für Sonderwünsche (anstatt Pommes -> Bratkartoffeln) Kein eigener Parkplatz. Fazit: Hier werden wir öfters speisen!

Ich kenne die Trattoria schon über 20 Jahre und unsere Einkehr war spontan. Sofort wurde ein Tisch hergerichtet. Die Bedienung war freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Das Essen war nicht nur lecker, sondern auch heiß! Gern komme ich mit der Familie wieder vorbei!

5 Sterne zurecht. Wir waren heute dort mal wieder nach längerer Zeit Abendessen. Bestellt haben wir zwei Pizzen und einen Meeresfrüchtesalat. Die Pizzen waren ausreichend belegt und der Teig schön dünn, so wie es sein muss. Der Meeresfrüchtesalat war nicht nur optisch grandios angerichtet, sondern auch geschmacklich fantastisch!! Abgerundet wurde der Abend durch eine aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Wir können das Lokal definitiv empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank!
