Delicious food. Highly recommended if you are in Lahr.

It is not at all obvious to find an Italian restaurant that satisfies the palate of an Italian. The bruschetta was very well done (perhaps a little too much garlic for my taste, but fortunately it was enough to remove the visible pieces), ricotta and spinach ravioli were quite well done. Finally, I must admit that the coffee is better than many Italian restaurants. Ps. Even the pizzas from the tables next to mine seemed well done and appetizing.

Followed TripAdvisor's advice to eat here, truly disappointed. The owner made no effort to make himself understood in any language other than German. Two minutes after handing out the menus, he was there to take orders, when it was obvious that the four people present had their phones in hand to translate with Google Eyes. Overcooked pizza, bland, industrial tomato sauce. The seafood in my pasta was overcooked, but the pasta was at least al dente. It's a shame the food didn't live up to the beautiful patio.

We visit Trattoria de Enza regularly and are impressed every time. The food is always freshly prepared, delicious, and authentic. The menu offers a great selection, so there's something for every taste. We particularly appreciate the friendly and attentive service, the owner Enza, and the kitchen staff; this makes our visit very pleasant. The ambiance is also very cozy and inviting. For us, Trattoria de Enza is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. We highly recommend a visit.

vitello tonnato its my favourite dish.. here was prepared just perfect like it should be 😋. we ordered pizza napoli which was little bit too salty but we should have expect that😄 i had pasta with shrimps.. it was good but nothing extraordinery. 4 stars only for the vitello tonnato and homemade bread.

Ein sehr schöner leckerer Abend. Vorspeisen wie Hauptgang war sehr schnell da und ein Genuss. Ein Besuch absolut wert.

An absolutely authentic Italian restaurant! The dishes are excellent - the Spaghetti Frutti di Mare (192) and the pizzas are particularly recommended. A real highlight is the show when the pasta dish is served directly from the cheese body (210) - a delight for the eyes and the palate! The owner Enza is super warm and greets her guests personally, which gives the restaurant a family atmosphere. We ate there twice in one week because we liked and enjoyed it so much. Great value for money, a beautiful atmosphere and harmonious background music (Laura Pausini provides the perfect Italian flair). 🤩 A top restaurant – we would be happy to come back any time! 🍝🇮🇹

We've been here several times now and can only say that it was a true culinary experience! From the moment we entered the restaurant, we received a warm welcome and felt very comfortable. The menu offers an excellent selection of traditional Italian dishes, making it hard to choose. From appetizers to dessert, the meat, fish, pasta, and pizza have always been perfect. A particular plus is that the pasta is still homemade. The wine served is also, in my opinion, one of the best I've ever tasted. The service is always attentive and friendly, with that typical Italian charm. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere, you've come to the right place. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

I don't recommend trying tiramisu in this place. It's just black bread soaked in alcohol. And not a fresh dish at that. The salad was also terrible. That's my opinion.

Very good food in a cozy restaurant with friendly and attentive staff

Yesterday we were in Lahr at the Chrysanthema and had made reservations by phone 1.5 weeks in advance for 6 people here in the restaurant for the evening. When we arrived at 5:30 p.m. all the tables were reserved except for a 2-seater and a 6-seater table. We thought we were lucky. But then, the catastrophe only began. Hurry hurriedly the table for 6 was quickly set up, the colleague from lunchtime must have forgotten to do it. Ok... No Topic...Then the, I think regular guests, sat at the table behind us, the boss and a waitress stood there and basically ignored us. At some point 3 menus and 3 pizza menus arrived. Drinks were not yet included. When I asked because there was something on the online menu that I would have liked to eat, the owner told me in a very grumpy manner that there was no menu on the homepage. But she asked the chef if he could prepare it anyway, which was an absolute plus. At some point we were also allowed to order drinks and food. The food was definitely top and super tasty. Then it was time to pay... So ignore it, both wait staff are great. At some point the boss came and said she was preparing the bill, wanted to say that we would like to pay separately, but since we had already gone. About 20 minutes later she came to the table and announced the total amount. When we then said we would like to pay separately, she rolled her eyes and groaned very annoyed and walked away. 10 minutes later she came back and was even more unfriendly and rude than before. There was no thank you for the tip or have a nice evening. Conclusion... actually a great restaurant, in terms of the atmosphere and also the food. But if you're not a regular you've really lost out and are actually just a burden and unwanted. Once and never again.

Excellent meal but dirty tablecloth, no organization of the waitresses who come to give you dishes that you did not order, dishes from other tables. 30 minutes to clear the empty plates, and another 10 minutes to bring the bill.

I ate tagliatelle with salmon and rocket. Food and price were great. There was plenty of good salmon. I can recommend it.

For me, Enza definitely has the best pizza in the whole city! We often get pizza to take away there. When we go out to eat there, I usually eat pasta and I always like it very much!

De passage, nous avons choisi ce restaurant bien noté et proche de notre logement. L’accueil est glacial, probablement parce qu’on est français. Pas un effort malgré le fait que nous leur parlons en anglais, les seuls mots qui sortent sont en allemand ou au mieux en italien. La suite se déroule plutôt bien avec un repas de bonne qualité. On passe au paiement et en rentrant on s’aperçoit que le ticket n’est pas le bon. Un plat « tomaten cremésuppe » à 6,90€ que nous n’avons jamais pris, les boissons ne correspondent pas et les autres plats principaux sont bien entendu plus chers que ceux qu’on avait pris. Sûrement le fait d’être français… C’est malheureux d’en arriver là et de profiter de la naïveté des touristes !

We have been coming to Trattoria da Enza for years. The restaurant is a lovingly run restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and delicious authentic Italian cuisine. The staff is friendly and attentive and the menu offers a diverse selection of dishes, all lovingly prepared.

Wir hatten uns eher spontan zum Essen verabredet und erhielten einen wunderschönen Tisch auf der Terrasse. Das Ambiente ist hier etwas ganz besonderes, eine grüne Oase( keine künstlichen Pflanzen), freundlicher Service,trotz vollem Lokal. Frisch zubereiteter Salat, Loup de Mer, frisches Gemüse,leckere Knoblauchspaghetti, wir verbrachten einen wunderbaren Abend, danke Enza und ihrem Team!

Wir waren hier mit Freunden essen und hatten einen sehr schönen Abend. Als Vorspeise hatten wir zusammen Vitello Donato, gegrilltes Gemüse, Carpaccio und Bruschetta. Alles sehr lecker. Die verschiedenen Hauptspeise waren ebenfalls sehr lecker. Auch der Service hat toll funktioniert. Trotz sehr verschiedenen Bestellungen bekam wir alle zusammen unsere Essen. So sollte es in einer guten Gastronomie sein. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

At the weekend we spontaneously decided to eat here again. It was already relatively late and we didn't have a reservation. Nevertheless, the boss was very friendly and gave us a seat in the full restaurant. We didn't have to wait long and the food was extremely tasty! We can only recommend the restaurant. Ich kann das Trattoria da Enza nur wärmstens empfehlen! Die Speisen sind immer frisch zubereitet und schmecken einfach wie in Italien, was man sonst hier in der Umgebung nicht so serviert bekommt – Die Pasta und die Meeresfrüchte, die ich bisher dort gegessen habe waren ein wahrer Genuss, die Saucen sind aromatisch und die Zutaten von höchster Qualität. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und einladend, perfekt für einen entspannten Abend mit Freunden oder Familie. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das überragende Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis – für die Qualität der Speisen zahlt man hier wirklich wenig. Ich komme definitiv wieder und freue mich schon auf mein nächstes Essen hier!

Schade, dass es so abgebaut hat, früher waren wir immer sehr begeistert und haben gerne hier ein besonderes Ambiente genossen. Heute ist die Speisekarte ein laminierter Zettel, für Pizza ist es zu heiss und die Preise sind der Hammer, für 9 Tortellini 15,90€. Sorry, aber nie wieder.

Ordered three pizzas had to buy 4 because they didn't understand on the phone. Found a piece of aluminium in one of them.

The two of us wanted to have a nice lunch outside. After we were told we had free choice of seating, we sat down at a nice table. After waiting for a while, a regular guest came and we were told to sit at the worst table in the garden. There was no reserved sign. We didn't want to be treated like that and went to another restaurant. Hospitality is something different. They scared us away as guests and we won't be coming back.

It is a beautiful, small, lovingly furnished, very cozy restaurant. The menu is clear. The size of the dish is sufficient, not too big or too little. However, you have to take some time with you, but that's probably normal for a restaurant.

Food was very good, but the owner was unfortunately unfriendly and inattentive. Prices not cheap, but ok. And: There were wilted flowers in foul, green water on the toilet... Definitely won't be my regular place.

Enza remains Enza. Wonderful Italian cuisine. Homemade pasta and great pizzas. Great meat and fish dishes. It's definitely worth it. Eating outside is a joy. It was a pleasure.

When I was visiting Lahr, I went to the trattoria for the first time. I was impressed by the beautiful ambience... The terrace.... Great. The food was great!!!...everything was right...The presentation of the food...the service...!! I will definitely take a look again!

Excellent food, had the full program...starter, main course and dessert with a nightcap on the house. Had dishes with seafood and relied on the house wine recommendation, the wine went wonderfully with the food. It was a very nice evening, gladly again :-)

In our opinion, the Trattoria de Enza is the best Italian restaurant in Germany. 10 years ago we were in Lahr as a small group for a year and a half on business and even then we enjoyed the dishes excellently. Now, after 7 years, we went back to Enza's Trattoria to enjoy the Italian food again. What can I say: A taste experience like back then and the lovely boss, Enza, hasn't lost her warm nature. We'd love to come back and this time it certainly won't take years - just BECAUSE every trip to this restaurant is worth it! Thank you very much for the warmth and the delicacies.

Mir hat man leider nur die Pizza-Karte gegeben. Ich hatte nach Alternativen gefragt, man sagte mir, es gäbe noch Pasta. Erst später, als ich schon bestellt hatte, habe ich gesehen, dass es eine handschriftliche Tafel mit diversen Gerichten etwas weiter hinten im Restaurant gab. Diese sollte man suchen und studieren. Ich hatte mich auf ein Fischgericht gefreut. Die Pizza war allerdings sehr lecker!

We were looking forward to a nice evening, but were very disappointed. We didn't feel like we were welcome. Very unfriendly reception (actually didn't take place). We had the same fate as the other guests; we were only given a menu with higher-priced dishes. When we asked for a pizza menu, we were told that we would have to request this separately??? Orders were forgotten, etc. The boss should definitely work on her friendliness. The food was ok. But because of these unpleasant experiences we will no longer visit this restaurant. A. Shepherd

Es ist schon bemerkenswert , was sich in einem Restaurant ereignen kann , diesmal hat es Enza getroffen ! Ich habe eine Woche gebraucht, ob ich mich zu dieser Bewertung von Angelina melden soll … Ich muss es , es ist einfach nicht richtig was sie schreibt. Eins vorweg , wir gehen immer gerne zu Enza und auch in den Goldriver , wir kennen beide Inhaber dieser Lokale und bei beiden ist das Essen hervorragend und der Service freundlich! Das Schauspiel ereignete sich genau vor einer Woche , es handelte sich um ein Paar mit Kind , denen Enza spontan noch einen Tisch ermöglicht hatte. Zunächst machte diese Familie einen sympathischen Eindruck . Aber dann wurde ein Feldsalat als Vorspeise bestellt , dieser aufgegessen und dann wurde bemerkt , dass dieser nicht ihren Geschmack traf …was legitim ist , das entsprechend äußern zu dürfen , gegessen hätte ich ihn dann allerdings auch nicht mehr. Die Geschmäcker sind ja zum Glück auch unterschiedlich. Aber wenn man dann noch anfängt , der Wirtin zu erklären , wie man Feldsalat zu machen hat und unterstellt die Croutons seien nicht frisch gemacht , dann mache ich doch den Feldsalat lieber selber und bleibe zuhause . Es wurden viele dieser Salate serviert an diesem Abend , es beschwerte sich keiner ganz im Gegenteil ! Das teilte auch Enza diesem Paar mit , als Antwort bekam sie dann , dass sich wohl keiner der anderen Gäste traut etwas zu sagen , unglaublich … Die Gäste am Tisch nebenan bekamen das direkt mit und legten ein Veto ein , verständlich ! Keiner dieser Gäste , machte den Eindruck von Einschüchterung…alles nette Menschen, die einfach , ihren Abend genießen wollten ! Die Bestätigung das die Salate sehr gut waren , bekam Enza zu recht von allen Gästen auch 🥰 bestätigt. Ich habe in meinem ganzen Leben so etwas noch nie erlebt , zwischendurch habe ich gedacht , es handelt sich hierbei um die versteckte Kamera , leider war das nicht der Fall 🙈 Wie kann man als junge Eltern , sich seinem Kind gegenüber so verhalten und alle Gäste beleidigen !!! Es folgten Aussagen an Gästen wie ,, Du musst ja hier essen , was anderes kannst Du dir ja nicht leisten oder wie ,, Du mit deinem fetten Ranzen kennst ja keine gute Küche - oder ,, Du kannst gerne bei mir arbeiten dann kannst du dir vielleicht auch mal gutes Essen leisten aber sowas wie dich würde ich eh nicht einstellen … Oh mein Gott ‼️ Angelina , es wäre besser gewesen , nichts zu schreiben! Alle Gäste , aber auch alle , konnten in keinster Weise so ein Verhalten vom unterstem Niveau nachvollziehen . Eine Bitte für die Zukunft, Feldsalat für die Zukunft lieber zuhause essen , dort könnt ihr euch gegenseitig beschimpfen ! Pizza wurde ja auch noch von euch bestellt und der Rest mit nach Hause genommen , verständlich, die ist ja auch sehr lecker 😋 wie vieles andere bei Enza auch ! Schön wäre , ihr hättet euch für die Zukunft besser unter Kontrolle , bitte bleibt sonst lieber Zuhause.

Heute mal Feldsalat TO GO Der Feldsalat von Eza mit Speck und Kracherle sooo leeeeccckkkerrrr. Egal welches Essen ob zum Mitnehmen oder das romantische Abiente geniessen. Alle Gerichte sind der Hammer und der Service auch. Ich freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch.

Dies ist nicht ein gewöhnliches Restaurant. Dies ist das Lebenswerk von Chefin Enza. Hier stimmt einfach alles, bis hin zu der typischen italienischen Lässigkeit in Perfektion. Einfach liebenswert. Unerwähnt sollte natürlich nicht bleiben das man sehr lecker essen kann.

Italienisches Restaurant auf normalem Niveau. Wir hatten zur Vorspeise die Bruschetta. Leider muss ich sagen, dass diese kein "must have" war . Man konnte sie essen, aber ich würde sie mir nicht wieder bestellen. Auch die Anrichteweise war nicht besonders liebevoll. Unsere Hauptspeisen bestanden aus verschiedenen Pizzen, schwarzen Tortelloni und Salat. Letztere zwei waren zum einen leider sehr kleine Portionen und auch geschmaklich nichts besonderes. Die Pizza hingegen war OK und auch von der Größe ausreichend. Die Bedienung war augenscheinlich neu und etwas unsicher aber sehr nett. Die Chefin (wir nehmen an, dass sie es war) könnte hingegen noch etwas an ihrer Freundlichkeit arbeiten. Die Sanitären Anlagen sind OK. Preis-Leistung ist in Ordnung. Fazit: Leider muss ich sagen, dass wir aufgrund der gemachten Erfahrung nicht wiederkommen würden. Man könnte an der Qualität und Optik der Speisen arbeiten, um dem Gast ein kulinarisches Erlebnis zu bieten. Wenn man die Gerichte ohne besondere Kenntnisse auch Zuhause ähnlich hinbekommt, braucht man nicht auswärts Essen gehen.

Sehr nette und fleißige Chefin. Behält auch im größten Anstum die Übersicht. Das Essen ist hervorragend, das Personal zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Ich finde es schade wenn Gäste die Nerven verlieren wenn diese mal ein wenig warten müssen, weil Personal ausgefallen ist.
