Great food in a wonderful atmosphere

All in all, a good Italian restaurant that offers not only pasta and pizza, but also good fish and meat dishes. The carbonara, however, was only okay; I don't know how an Italian would think of making it with cream. The desserts, however, were all the better.

Bellini is a trattoria that already has a loyal following and is accordingly busy. Reservations are highly recommended. The restaurant has been carefully and lovingly decorated, although it is a bit cramped. After ordering, you are served tasty olives and delicious bread. For main courses, we chose potato carpaccio and penne a la siciliana. Both were very well prepared. The potatoes were cut into wafer-thin slices, fried, and covered with cheese, topped with truffles and arugula. The service was very attentive and friendly.

Super delicious food. You're in Munich, but feel like you're in the heart of Italy. From the appetizers to the dessert, everything was simply perfect. Possibly the best Italian food we've ever had. The staff is also very friendly. You can tell this is a family business by the way the people here treat you.

A typical traditional Italian restaurant, with cloth tablecloths and napkins, very nice and friendly staff, and excellent food. We'd gladly return.

I went to Bellini for lunch today and tried the Carbonnara and the Stübenküken...lunch menu between. 12 and 19 € is OK for Munich....Food was good, service friendly.... There is a deduction for the Parmesan cheese.....that was completely normal hard cheese.

I ate the best pizza of my life here. As a cosmopolitan, that means something to me! Price performance is top! Best quality of food. Nice service. What's a little annoying is the background noise when it's full. You no longer understand your own words. But ultimately that's probably part of this very Italian atmosphere. You think you are in the middle of Italy! And that's why this is part of it! :-)

Very optimal for dates. Many different pasta and pizza options. Pizza is not the best but really loved the Carbonara. There is even option to have small portion of pasta to try several dishes. Sea food was also good but Tramisu was below avarage definitely.

As a die-hard Munich resident, I know every restaurant in Munich - and I'm not exaggerating in the slightest when I say: Bellini is the best restaurant in Munich! The food is to die for. The lunch menu's breadth (10 offerings every day, from pizza to pasta to meat and fish - in different variations, including starter prices for an average of 12 euros) is unrivaled in Munich and is reminiscent of days long gone. For a longer visit, the menu offers not only the classics but also all sorts of delicacies, with changing daily and weekly menus and the freshest ingredients, often directly from Sicily - the home of the family business, who serve there themselves and make you feel at home. Chef Rosario personally cooks with a lot of love. The mini tiramisu (mafiosi) as a dessert and the small “biretta” have become absolute classics. Bellini? Always an excellent choice!!

I had a wonderful experience. The service was impeccable, and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant is family-owned and run by an Italian family, and the food is reminiscent of what one finds in Italy; the flavors are rich and well-executed, especially considering the location in Munich. I highly recommend this establishment. The only suggestion for improvement would be the Tiramisu, which I felt could have been better.

A wonderful traditional Italian restaurant. Rather rustic look, the seating is quite tight, the noise is tolerable. A very broad menu, complemented by a small daily menu, offers everything your heart desires. Food and drinks are excellent and fairly priced.

The food is excellent and tastes like home-made. The ingredients are fantastic, the atmosphere is absolutely comfortable and the service is very friendly and quick.

I had a salad as a starter and didn't like it. It tasted as if the individual components had been dumped together from tin cans and it worked that way too. The pizza tasted much better, but my criticism here is the hard base. It wasn't just crispy, it was rock hard, so I had to struggle to cut the pizza.

Beer garden designed with a lot of love, an ambience, with taste, inside and out, lots of plants, beautiful decoration, simply brilliant! The food is perfect, always fresh fish, also highly recommended as a small Mafiosi dessert! We didn't make a reservation and managed to get a seat despite being fully booked because the boss Gaetano rescheduled several tables. The children got something to paint and we had a perfect evening with beef carpaccio plus truffles and sea bass fillet. It was a successful evening all around and certainly not the last time. Best Italian in Munich 😍 Absolute favorite restaurant

Excellent food, friendly service

Some ingredients in this restaurant are stored above 6 degrees Celsius, against the regulations that require foods to be stored below 4 degrees Celsius. This issue they have is causing the food to get spoiled even before they are cooked. In this restaurant workers are hired illegally, with a promise of legal rights and normal wage, but the owner ends up paying about 1 euro per hour (if employees manage to get paid) and making them work 14 hours a day for 6 or 7 days a week, working practically only for food. It is truly shocking how a restaurant can last open for so long selling spoiled food with people hired illegally and exploited beyond any decency (except for family members that are getting a decent salary). They say that it is a family run business but they always employ illegally 2 or 3 employees that do not have anything to do with their family. They usually exploit other Italians (like most other exploitative Italian restaurants). They continuously lie to their employees, customers and even in reviews with false statements. Any proper government control on food and employees will find several irregularities. On the positive side, one of the cooks (which is not part of the owner family) that used to work in this restaurant is an excellent outstanding cook.

We wanted to go first, but our baby already wanted to go to sleep :-) — so we ordered a very tasty Spaghetti Amatriciana and Pizza Vulcano! The telephone contact regarding the order was very friendly. The base of the pizza was thin and crispy. Maybe we'll make it there again in person, the food was definitely delicious. EDIT: We also ordered lasagne there twice and it was very, very good! Delivered hot and the sauce was very flavorful. Absolutely recommended.

Some of the best Italian food I've ever had was here in Trattoria Bellini in Munich! The staff were friendly and helpful and also very funny and they accommodated a group of six no problem.
