We ate at the Scarpati restaurant for the first time yesterday. Our summary: A truly great experience in a very good restaurant. The quality of the food is high, the staff attentive and friendly. The restaurant manager also takes care of the guests. I get the impression that there are many regulars. The menu could use a bit more choice when it comes to main courses. That's my opinion! But still, full marks. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Very well maintained restaurant

Visited friends in Wuppertal again after a long time. And of course, went straight to Scarpati for dinner. The food and drinks were absolutely top-notch. Very friendly and attentive service staff. I'd be happy to go back anytime. It's worth a visit!

We visited Scarpati for the first time yesterday for a birthday celebration with our two young children, and we were absolutely thrilled. Excellent food, excellent and attentive service, and a wonderful atmosphere. A highchair was already prepared for our little one, and they had even prepared something delicious for the children. The chef even came around to check on us (and the children) and how we were doing. We'll definitely be back.

Fantastically delicious food, elegant ambiance, and the staff (according to the bill, there were three waiters, a young woman with dark hair) are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The prices and value for money are justified. The restaurant is and has class.

Culinary evening in a feel-good atmosphere Four of us were there last night and decided on the menu. The staff was friendly, attentive and always attentive to the guests from start to finish. At the end of the evening we agreed that SCARPATI is definitely a special culinary highlight in Wuppertal and beyond. We ate there on Easter Sunday: I'll keep it short: MEGA service (the restaurant was completely booked) MEGA food! SUPER portions (for me that means: NOT too big, you could manage the starter, main course and dessert without stuffing and having to struggle) Small menu where everyone can still find something with reasonable prices. We will definitely come back, even if it is 60 km away.

Villa Scarparti is definitely worth a visit! 😋 The food and service were excellent and we felt completely at home the entire evening. The menu and the accompanying wine selection were very good. The villa has its own charm, but the furniture could be updated a bit for my taste, so I deducted 1 star (but maybe I'm being a bit too critical at this point) All in all, more than TOP 🔝

We got married at the Scarpati restaurant and can wholeheartedly recommend it! The discussions in advance with Mr. Speck, the service at the party, the quality of the cuisine - everything was excellent! The setting of the tables and the setting up of the decorations were carried out perfectly as discussed, special requests from the guests were also spontaneously implemented excellently and the entire service staff contributed to the success of the celebration with their friendliness and positive charisma. We are very grateful for the commitment of the entire Scarpati team and can only recommend the Scarpati restaurant :)

If you want a meal for a very special occasion, then the Scarpati restaurant is my first choice in Wuppertal and the surrounding area. Because of a big birthday, my wife and I spent an unforgettable evening there and enjoyed the fantastic food and the very pleasant atmosphere of the traditional house with the excellent cuisine for 3 hours. We loved the amuse bouche menu. Each of the 7 courses was an outstanding event and coordinated with the other dishes in such a way that you could enjoy the portions until the end and not go home “noodled”. In addition to the wonderful cuisine, it was the very friendly and unobtrusively attentive service that made our evening very pleasant. The Scarpati is less for guests who need to save money, for everyone else it is value for money in the sense that the culinary experiences are worth every euro. At least that's what we found during our amouse-bouche menu with an excellent wine.

We had our Christmas party at Scarparti. The restaurant is located in a villa. The ambience is very nice and was also beautifully decorated for Christmas. The food in general was also very good, I just didn't like the taste of the starter, but the main course and dessert were very good. Unfortunately, what was a bit disappointing was our waiter that evening; he seemed to be in a rather bad mood and didn't bring a positive mood into the room. There were no recommendations either. In terms of service, you are used to better in such restaurants.

Alfonso was our waiter. A very excellent and nice, friendly waiter. The food was very tasty. A good dinner and the ambience is great. Five star recommendation for everything.

The food was very good, but also very spicy... not everyone likes that. Unfortunately, the service failed completely that evening and completely messed up our order. When we wanted to pay, the cash register was “busy”. So 20 minutes. We then had to help calculate the tip….

Celebrated our aunt's 90th birthday there! The restaurant was open especially for this small (at 90 you don't have many friends anymore!!!) group at lunchtime and everything was great! Only the structural conditions for a walker or even a wheelchair are not ideal, rather bad! But otherwise everything was great!

I was there for the anniversary dinner on my birthday. The food was excellent as always. But service didn't work at all. We had gotten the new waitress. She was completely overwhelmed, which wouldn't be a problem if other waiters helped. But the motto was that it wasn't our table, we're not interested in it. We were constantly ignored, not given any drinks and when the drinks came, they were the wrong ones. It was absolutely the wrong decision to spend my birthday there. Scarpati should use new waiters to help and not leave full tables. Under no circumstances would I eat there again during special offers. If you can't guarantee the service, you shouldn't accept so many reservations.

Excellent restaurant, always tasty. Creative ideas. Attentive team and a pleasant, sophisticated, casual atmosphere. The only annoying thing is the sometimes inadequate parking situation.

We had the anniversary menu and it was delicious. The service and the owner were very accommodating. The greeting from the kitchen is a particular highlight that I remember. In fact, as other commentators write, the menu has a very limited selection and the portions are not huge. But that's absolutely normal for a restaurant of this type and for me it's even a positive sign. You'll definitely be full.

The food (50th anniversary menu) was delicious and high quality. But what was missing was that special thing, the whistle. The service was exemplary: friendly and attentive. The ambience is very well maintained, but could also use a refresh in the direction of “lightness” in order to appeal to the younger audience.

Das Personal, angeführt von Herrn Speck, zeichnet sich nicht nur durch Professionalität, sondern auch durch eine herzliche Menschlichkeit aus. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die vorbildliche Unterstützung bei der Planung unserer Weihnachtsfeier. Wir haben das Mittwoch menu gehabt , hat 59 Euros gekostet. Muss sagen war alles top , essen und Service . Das Restaurant ist recht schön eingerichtet. Komme gerne wieder .

Hier ist der Gast noch König. Das Essen ist genau den Punkt gekocht und gewürtzt. Der Ober kann einem genau erklären, was das Gericht enthält. Ein toller Service am Gast von der gesamten Mannschaft. Dafür bin auch gerne bereit mehr Geld zu bezahlen. Wird auf jeden Fall nicht mein letzter Besuch gewesen sein.

Immer wieder Top! Ich bin oft bei Scarpati gewesen & wurde nie enttäuscht! Das Vitello ist eine Klasse für sich, sehr zu empfehlen! Mit etwas Glück bekommt man Crêpes Suzette am Tisch zubereitet, auch die sind der Hammer.

Am 2.6. erlebten wir wir im Scarpati im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes einen zauberhaften Abend. Herr Clever unterhielt uns mit einer charmanten Show, die Küchencrew verwöhnte uns mit einem exquisiten Menü und das Serviceteam erfreute uns wie gewohnt mit Aufmerksamkeit und perfekter Weinberatung. Fazit: ein unvergesslicher Abend für den wir uns allerherzlichst bedanken.

Für meinen Geburtstag haben wir uns ein besonderes Lokal ausgesucht und haben dafür beim SCARPATI reserviert. Das Ambiente ist schön, der Service ist toll und das Essen sehr lecker. Mittwochs gibt es wohl jede Woche neues 6-Gänge-Menü, da es aber sehr fleischlastig ist haben wir a la Carte bestellt. Alle Speisen, v.a die Taglarini mit Trüffeln, waren ausreichend groß und sehr sehr lecker. Unsere Cocktails waren lecker gemixt und mit mehr als genug Alkohol. Der Service war zu 90% sehr bedacht und hat unsere Gläser nachgefüllt, wenn wir unser Wasser ausgetrunken haben [dazu haben wir eine Wasserflasche bestellt]. Die Menschen um uns herum haben die spezielle Mittwochs-Menü bestellt und von den Tellern und Beobachtungen unsererseits scheint es eine Freude beim Essen zu sein — dass müssen Wir also auch mal ausprobieren.

Wir sind keine Stammgäste und genießen deshalb jedes Mal dieses tolle Essen, die netten Kellner und Kellnerinnen und das Ambiente. Man kann sowohl drinnen als auch draußen sitzen und es gibt einen Parkplatz. Egal ob zu einem besonderen Anlass oder einfach nur, weil man sich mal etwas gönnen möchte. ES LOHN SICH

Wir sind schon seit sehr vielen Jahren immer wieder sehr gerne mit der ganzen Familie hier zu Gast. Das Essen ist qualitativ immer sehr gut und der Service ist sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Es ist wie ein kulinarisches Zuhause und wir hoffen auf viele weitere Jahre, in denen wir hier Gast sein dürfen.

Wir haben ein vorzügliches 4 Gänge Menü serviert bekommen und fast drei äußerst angenehme Stunden im großen Restaurant verbracht. Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die angenehme Musik im Hintergrund hat den Besuch im Scarpati abgerundet. Für Feinschmecker, die Wert auf Qualität und Stil legen, ist das Scarpati genau das richtige !

Super leckeres essen und immerwieder überagender Service, vorallem Herr Speck ist super aufmerksam und hat sichtlich spaß an der Arbeit! Kommen hier immer wieder gerne hin, sowohl ins Restaurant als auch ins Hotel.

——06/2023—— Mit großem Abstand mit Sicherheit das BESTE RESTAURANT DER STADT! Im Juni haben wir nach unserer standesamtlichen Vermählung im engsten Kreis der Familie mit 15 Personen gefeiert und nach vorheriger Reservierung sind wir sehr herzlich im Restaurant Scarpati begrüßt und empfangen worden. Nach vorheriger ausführlicher Besprechung und Empfehlung des Service-Chefs Herrn Speck, wurden wir mit verschiedenen köstlichen Aperitifs im wunderschönen Garten empfangen. Unter anderem gab es hier den alkoholfreien Malfi- den muss man probiert haben- ein absolutes Sommergetränk und mal etwas Neues. Zusätzlich gab es ein fliegendes Buffet mit vielen Köstlichkeiten, was bei uns hervorragend angekommen ist. Anschließend ging es auf der herrlichen Sommerterrasse mit einem 6-bzw. 7-Gänge Menü weiter. Die Qualität der Speisen war wie immer (wir waren schon häufig hier essen) herausragend. Angefangen vom frischen knusprigen Brot, gefolgt von mehreren italienischen großen Vorspeisenplatten, gab es unter anderem ein sehr erfrischendes und selbst gemachtes Minzsorbet mit Wassermelone. Auch der Zander sowie das Kalbsschnitzel waren ein Gedicht und so unendlich zart und auf den Punkt gegart. Jeder aus meiner Familie äußerte mehrmals, dass Er/Sie NOCH NIE SO GUT GEGESSEN HABE. Auch der Service und das Ambiente waren wie immer außerordentlich gut und professionell. Eine solche Freundlichkeit, Professionalität und Aufmerksamkeit haben wir noch nirgendwo sonst in diesem Maße erlebt. Für uns wurden an diesem Tag in Sachen Gastronomie und Gourmet neue Standards gesetzt und ich bedanken mich sehr herzlich, besonders bei der Inhaberin Frau Scarpati und Ihrem Sohn Dennis Caspari, die dieses wundervolle Restaurant mit viel Liebe zum Detail auf diesem hohen Niveau führen. Mit Herrn Speck als Serviceleiter und dem gesamten Team ist jeder Aufenthalt im Restaurant Genuss pur und fühl sich an, wie ein Kurzurlaub in einem 6-Sterne Luxus Hotel oder Privat Resort. Ich kann jedem der sich, seiner Familie oder seinen Freunden etwas Gutes tun möchte, nur empfehlen, hier einzukehren. Auch unsere Hochzeitsfeier hätten wir sehr gerne hier gefeiert, was letztendlich nur nicht möglich ist, da unsere Hochzeitsgesellschaft mit über 100 Personen die räumlichen Kapazitäten dieses schönen Restaurants überstiegen hätte. Gekrönt wurde unser Aufenthalt nur durch ein junges Pärchen, dass laut Herrn Speck zu den Stammgästen zählt und uns zu einem Glas Champagner eingeladen hat. Das ist uns noch nirgendwo sonst passiert. Außerdem erhielten wir noch ein persönliches Hochzeitsgeschenk und wurden von Herrn Speck mit einer Hochzeitskerze überrascht. Es gibt aus unserer Sicht nichts, was man hätte besser machen können und aus diesem Grund, war der Tag unserer standesamtlichen Hochzeit im Scarpati durch die herzliche Betreuung und die einzigartige Atmosphäre einfach nur perfekt. Andere Betriebe sollten sich dieses wundervolle Lokal als Vorbild nehmen!!! Das Spitzenestaurant im Bergischen Land

Mittags, wie abends sind die Menüs ein Gedicht. Der Service ist immer da, wenn er gebraucht wird und zuvorkommend. Die Qualität der Produkte - ob Fisch, Fleisch oder Gemüse - ist hochwertig, die Anrichtung auf dem Teller originell, aber nicht - wie in anderen Restaurants - zu hoch. Fein angerichtet, gut essbar, wie man so schön sagt. Ich saß bisher immer in der Trattoria und habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Gemütlich, mit ausreichend Abstand zu den anderen Tischen. An schönen Tagen ist die Terasse sehr zu empfehlen.

Ein außergewöhnliches Restaurant-Erlebnis! Noch nie habe ich einen so aufmerksamen, freundlichen, zugleich aber nicht aufdringlichen Service erlebt. Auch das Essen und der Wein waren herausragend. Wir werden wieder kommen!
