Torhaus Pizza in Ellwangen (Jagst)

I pre-ordered something to pick up. Food was ready within the specified time. The fries were the best take away fries I've had in Ellwangen so far. Pizza was also very tasty. The kebab also tasted good. Gladly again.

We were there on January 19th and ordered a four-cheese pizza and a lahmacun. We were told it would take 15 minutes. over 45 minutes have passed. Also, the pizza is half raw. The employee still put meat on the lahmacun and when we told him, he just took the meat back and put it back in the bowl and continued preparing the lahmacun. The other employee's lachmacun simply fell on the floor and she put an extra aluminum foil on it as a solution. We didn't even get a "sorry" for the whole thing, but we were offered two drinks for free - a joke. 1/10. You can't get something like that in a restaurant... you can't be hungry for it anymore.

Didn't try Lahmacun because I was really mesmerizing I felt disgusted after the whole incident. The employee still put meat on the lahmacun even though we said no meat from the beginning and when we mentioned it to him again, he just took the meat back and put it back in the meat bowl. The other employee's Lahmacun simply fell down on the floor and she put an extra aluminum foil on it as a solution. I personally find it very disgusting to continue to offer/sell food on a dirty floor. We were offered two free drinks as an “apology” but we didn’t want them. You have to work more as a team and coordinate more. You had no plan how or what.

New owner, new luck! We took advantage of this weekend's activities to enjoy the kebab and pizzas. The staff is very friendly. The kebabs were very tasty (meat fresh from the spit and very juicy), and the KIDS (5 and 7 years old) also enjoyed it. There is a choice of yogurt and cocktail sauce. Pizza Torhaus and Calzone with kebab meat were also great, meat was super juicy and requests for changes were accommodated without any problems. The kids had tuna pizza and pepperoni pizza. Which were also great. There is also a stamp card. We will definitely come back and treat ourselves to something delicious. Keep it up. Thank you

Absolute recommendation! We had a kebab and a dürüm - both delicious, the meat is super juicy, has a good seasoning and the vegetables are nice and fresh. We then took two pizzas to take home with us, which were also amazing. Crispy base & well topped. The store is clean, the people are super friendly & the service is fast. You can really tell that people work here with heart. Definitely coming back. Lots of love to the new owners!

Thanks to the new owners, the gatehouse is recommended again! Pasta is exclusively homemade and emphasis is placed on quality. Spicy meat, fresh vegetables, good sauces and above all good service. So everything that makes a kebab a good kebab. I'm happy to have a good kebab in Ellwangen again!! Good luck to the owners! We'll be back 😉

Ordered a doner plate twice. Unfortunately it was freezing cold both times. When asked about this, the operator was unreasonable. The last time we were there.

Tastes good but cold! Meat from heat container and cold. It doesn't work at all. I pay money for that and then I also want a hot kebab

We ordered normal kebabs. It wasn't at all what you know from other kebab shops. The meat was like pressed pulp (carton strips), there was no good sauce with it and only one type of it. The lead was just Chinese cabbage and just a very small, thin slice of tomato. The meat was not fresh from the spit, but from the warming pot. The taste of the meat cannot be defined. Ambiance is not inviting: cold, dark, bare, etc. No public toilet. Staff friendly.

The meat has no taste, fries too light, no taste, pizza no onions

Bin hier fast jede Mittagspause, und bin noch nie enttäuscht worden, bester Döner in Ellwangen 👍🏼

Super döner und Pizza. Hier wird man immer sehr freundlich bedient. Auch wenn Abends kurz vor Schluss nicht mehr alles da ist bekommt man eine gute Alternative angeboten. Leider machen es die nicht vorhandenen Parkplätze schwierig etwas abzuholen.

Sehr gutes Fleisch und mega Portionen

Ich Bestelle seit ein paar Tagen Gemischten Salat oder Nizza Salat mit Essig/öl... und zu Hause muss ich nach würzen, seid dem erstem Salat schmeckt das Dressing nach Wasser !!! Ihr mischt es zu viel. Ich muss zuhause Dressing und öl Salat dazu geben damit es nach Salat schmeckt

Standard Dönerbude wie sie halt so sind

Leckerer Döner, leckeres Lamacun, Preis- Leistung ist gut. Pommes waren nix! Die sind ins zu kalte fett gelegt worden und waren sehr matschig auf dem Teller. Getränke gut und schön kalt! Sehr freundlicher Herr mit gutem Service! Wir kommen wieder!

Ist Lecker dies dass ABER Preise etwas Teuer und wenig sitz Möglichkeiten.

Es lohnt sich nicht da hin zu gehen, Döner ist nicht mal zur Hälfte gefüllt, und der Dürüm zerfällt, Teig ist nicht fertig, würde am liebsten kein Stern geben, muss man aber sonst kann mann nicht bewerten werde alle die ich kenn von euch abraten

Bei den alten besitzern war es viel besser ,sir Warren FRUNDLICHER und stressten nich wenn man irgend etwas falsch bestellt also wirklich nicht zu entpfehlen vorallem der kleine type da

Waren gerne dort aber zwischenzeitlich ist die pizza entweder total fad vom Geschmack oder überwürzt ,auch dem döner fehlt der Geschmack.kann ja mal vorkommen, aber hat sich seither nicht mehr gebessert.wir lassen den Besuch dort sein..

Pizza und Lahmacunteig selbst gemacht, frisch und super lecker. Leider keine Schweineprodukte, Hähnchenbraten ist nicht mein Fall statt Schinken 🙈. Das Dönerfleisch ist auch nicht mein Favorit, nicht schlecht, aber wurde leider warm gehalten und vom Geschmack nicht mein Fall. Super lieber Service, schnell und zuverlässig.

gibt es es recht ordentlichen döner der sich nicht zu verstecken braucht

Döner und dürum sind essbar aber absolut nicht der Hit und nicht gerade gut belegt! Die Jogurtsouße hat einen eigenartigen Geschmack. Erstes und letztes mal dort gegessen.

Lecker Döner zum mitnehmen. Es geht schnell und der Döner ist auch sehr groß und hat prima geschmeckt. Ein Besuch lohnt sich.

Dieser Imbiss geht gar nicht mehr, hatte telefonisch vorbestellt und eine Abholung in 30min war mitgeteilt, bin dann noch weitere 30min in der Bude gestanden. Außerdem griff der Mitarbeiter vor meinen Augen mit seinen Finger in die vorgeschnittenen Gemüsestücke zum sacken! Möchte nicht wissen was er vorher mit seinen Fingern gemacht hat 🤮

Alles wird frisch zubereitet und das schmeckt man auch.

Bei unserem Besuch war das Dönerfleisch quasi noch roh, da bei unserem Besuch recht viel los war. Es wurde ein neuer Dönerspieß auf den Grill gesellt und relativ schnell serviert. Bei Nachfrage ob das so richtig sei hieß es nur ja ja alles gut. Dies war leider nicht so deshalb leider nur 2 Sterne. Die Lokalität hat sonst einen ordentlichen Eindruck gemacht.

Had a very good pizza there! The guy very nice and friendly, the service quick, reasonable prices, good value for money. The interior a bit spartan, but you have to keep in mind: It IS just a takeaway, not a true restaurant! The Döner ordered by the young man in front of me also looked quite tasty. Good central location within Ellwangen! All in all: A recommendation!

Der Laden wirkt von außen wie ein normaler Dönerladen. Nichts besonderes aber auch nichts schlechtes. Ich habe dort einen Dürum in Normal bestellt. Ich habe 4,50€ gezahlt. Leider war das nichts. Habe schon deutlich größere und bedeutend bessere Dürum gegessen. Die Küche wirkte unaufgeräumt und nicht sehr sauber. Ein sehr kleiner Laden. Max. 5 Personen können vor Ort essen. Dann wird es eng. Leider mein erstes und letztes Mal.

Könnte sauberer sein. Mehrmals schon falsche Pizza mitgegeben.
