It was delicious!! Plenty of food... constantly refilled... Very clean... Friendly staff... Always clearing plates quickly...

We strongly advise against this restaurant in every respect. Despite our terrible experience there five years ago, my wife was invited to a family celebration hoping things had improved. The opposite was true. The hygiene was absolutely appalling, the service was abysmal thanks to unfriendly and bored staff, and the food was a mixed bag, but neither well-prepared nor tasty. The seafood had an unpleasant odor, indicating a lack of freshness. The shrimp weren't deveined, the fish was drenched in breading and grease, and it had completely lost its firmness. The vegetables were wilted and dried out, the meat was sinewy and riddled with greasy residue, and overall, the quality was abysmal. The area around the chafing dishes was filthy and full of food scraps; the staff didn't clean anything during service. My wife couldn't eat anything because she lost her appetite just walking past the buffet. All the other guests who ate there have been complaining of nausea and stomach cramps since last night.

There's something for everyone. For families with children, there's food and a small play area. And the most important thing for me are the restrooms; they're clean and don't smell.

We were there on Thursday. The food was unfortunately inedible. The sushi was completely soggy, and the vegetables inside had already absorbed their color into the rice. The freshly grilled food was completely burnt and tasted of iron. The fried items were so soggy that you couldn't even pick them up with tongs, and there was a thick layer of grease on all the pickled products. The fruit for dessert was completely brown, and the vegetables were also very dry. Unfortunately, we went home feeling extremely nauseous and wouldn't go back. When we mentioned that we didn't like the food, we were given a €4 discount. Even though we only paid €25 per person, the meal was definitely not worth it. However, the staff were always very friendly.

Nothing to be excited about. The food was cold, and some dishes (liver, duck) were dried out. The staff was quite intrusive—people constantly came to the table to check if something needed to be cleared. During the meal, the lady even reached halfway across the table to take away a dirty plate. I felt like this was a kind of control, along the lines of, "Hurry up, eat up already."

The very last thing tasted burnt. The shrimps had excrement coming out when peeling them. Then you get the comment that it's not a 3 star hotel. The meat was like rubber. They charged 12 euros for my son...he's only 4 years old. Never again

We were there yesterday, Friday, with several people. Then customs, the public order office, and the health department came, and at some point we were told that the store was closing, that everyone had to leave, and then we were given only a small discount.

The food was too salty and tasted much worse than it did years ago. Regarding drinks—two beers, for example, are free per person in the buffet price—the wait staff spied on us to see who drank what and how much. There were three of us, and in the end, we were charged €5.50 more. There was an argument at the cash register. This restaurant is all about making money. No friendly service or good food. Never again.

I've been to many restaurants with Asian influences but this one seemed wow to me. It has a diverse menu, it's clean and the ambiance is pleasant. I highly recommend it!😊

I've visited this restaurant several times. The first time (when it first opened), the food was delicious. Since then, everything has changed in taste and is now inedible. Some of the food is from the day before, or at least it doesn't taste fresh. Everything tastes strange and sometimes disgusting. Therefore, I can't recommend it to anyone.

The restaurant is located in a former car dealership, so the high ceilings take some getting used to. Personally, I don't find the ambiance appealing.

The food was OK. The service was disrespectful and unaccommodating. I asked a lady who worked there if she could get me some olives as they were, as I thought it would be a waste to just pick the olives off the olive and cheese skewers. She looked at me hatefully, snatched the bowl from my hand without saying a word, threw it in her container and walked away without saying a word. Furthermore, it was simply assumed that my child was part of the buffet even though she hadn't eaten anything. Apart from a scoop of ice cream, which I was happy to pay for. The cashier, who was also unfriendly, told me that I had to say that. I had just told him this, but he wasn't interested and insisted that I pay the full amount.

An absolute no-go! Our visit to Topas was a disgrace – especially the behavior of the staff. Unfriendly, condescending, and not at all service-oriented. The worst of it, however, was that we were charged the full buffet price for a child who demonstrably had NOTHING eaten from the buffet. They didn't even ask – they simply accepted and cashed in without comment. Our objection was met with a cold, rude response – no apology, no solution, nothing. I've rarely experienced such disrespectful and customer-unfriendly behavior. This is obviously all about money, not fairness or hospitality. Anyone coming with children should think twice about getting involved in such a rip-off. This was definitely our last visit.

5 ⭐️ isn't enough. We've been coming here since the beginning, and it's still delicious 😋. The friendliness and the speed with which the drinks 🍺 arrive at the table. Great, I haven't even been sitting down for a minute and my drink is already there. And dessert too 😋

My grandmother invited me there. Unfortunately, I didn't find the food particularly tasty. The food sat in the pan, or whatever they did, for far too long. There's nothing negative to say about the drinks. There's a vending machine and a self-service refrigerator. I wouldn't go there again.

As a wheelchair user, I felt well looked after. The restroom is spacious and very clean. There's plenty of storage space at the buffet, and the staff was very helpful.

Unfriendly staff and management. The food is dry, sometimes cold, and inedible. Prices are far too high. The fruit, sauces, etc., come from cans. Only the vegetables are fresh. The employees lie to avoid getting into trouble. As a customer, you are treated very poorly, and it is clearly shown that they have no consideration for individual customers. After I pointed out that the employees were lying when paying, they no longer paid any attention to me. This place is a no-go for me and my family, and we are now going to another Chinese restaurant.

The restaurant really disappointed me. Unfriendly staff, and people stared at you the whole time while you were eating. You got stupid looks, and the food was cold to lukewarm. The manager was also unfriendly just because you opened the window because it was just too stuffy in there today in the sun. The air conditioning was on, but it only blew out warm air. The desserts were barely chilled and inedible. I won't eat there again. It was catastrophic. You wanted to eat and you were just stared at. It was a disgrace.

This restaurant has really gone downhill. Everything used to be great here, but now it's gotten much more expensive, and the quality of the food has significantly decreased. This is definitely our last time here.

I was there several times with my mother, once her best friend accompanied us there and we were all satisfied. Large selection at the buffet, everything was very tasty, there is something for every taste. Whether meat, fish, duck, pasta, rice, salads, desserts, the selection is really big. Fair prices and nice staff. There is even a chocolate fountain, a nice highlight. The ambience is also quite nice, although sometimes a bit loud but that's it Size is due if there are a lot of visitors there, that's normal. Definitely worth a visit.

Everything looks amazing there the personal and atmosphere are fantastic . I like that the staff looks always so happy to help if needed. I also like the wak they are presenting the food and so . Overall a good restaurant ☺️

We ate here on Thursday morning (almost as soon as they opened). It was pleasantly empty, with a gigantic buffet offering more than just the classics. There was also a large selection of sushi, as well as drinks, desserts, and fruit for the two chocolate fountains (white and milk). However, the chocolate fountains appeared to be filled with chocolate sauce instead of melted chocolate, and the cheesecake was rather mediocre. Not an issue for us; if you specifically want chocolate, you'd be better off going to the Chocolate Museum; for cheesecake, there's the Cheesecake Factory. The other dishes were all great, though, and let's be honest, you don't go to a Chinese buffet just for the cheesecake. All in all, we'll gladly return, especially since the selection is a bit larger than the classic Chinese buffet. 😊👍

I really enjoyed meeting friends in this city. A varied and delicious menu, waiters monitor the availability of dishes, clean, comfortable, there are rooms for children. There are a lot of people, but no one bothers anyone, wonderful and polite staff. Easy to get to, there is parking

What can I say about that, I'm sitting on the toilet in the restaurant with a stomach ache... the staff leaves a lot to be desired, you order a beer, you drink it, you put it on the edge of the table and you wait 10, 20, 25 minutes for staff, you're avoided so you don't order too much and then there's this surveillance the whole time... finally one more thing: animals in the restaurant are unhygienic and I'm not talking about guide dogs...

It's just a classic all-you-can-eat Asian restaurant. There are certainly better ones, but there are also worse ones. Price performance is ok.

All in all, not bad food, good price, good price and also quick for a lunch break.

Lots of comments about cold and less quality food, about the building that used to be a car dealership, but then as a regular customer I wonder when these people ate, of course the Mongolian grill can take a while, after all there are a maximum of 2 people or so at the grill and In the evening, orders can go through the roof. Never experienced cold food and if you don't like something, try something else in the large buffet, otherwise it's up to you😂

The food was ok. Like everywhere else where buffets are offered. I found it very bad that when a drinks flat rate is offered, you only get 2 beers. And the whole thing for 29 euros per person. It was also very crowded and you shouldn't mind queuing for 6-7 minutes.

The restaurant has sufficient parking spaces and arrival is also possible without a reservation. The staff is friendly, but very inattentive. Plates given out for grilling take forever and were swapped. The selection of food is not that big and the quality is rather poor. The whole thing wasn't necessarily hygienic either. We would prefer a different restaurant next time.

We like being here with the children, the concept is good. But when it's full you don't notice this. Food is refilled in a timely manner and freshly prepared. Very tasty and worth a visit.

Very very large restaurant. Were there on a Saturday evening. It was filled to the last seat. A bit noisy backdrop. Food is always refilled. Delicious. Both ready-made buffet and what you put together yourself and can have cooked. Dessert large selection and delicious. Staff very friendly. We had buffet food 29 euros per person including drinks such as juice, cola, water etc.

Unfortunately the Chinese buffet was far too full We stood in line for 20 minutes. There was plenty of everything and it was always refilled. The Mongolian offering is also very good. However, the plate would need 45 minutes to be back at the table.

We love eating there and everything tastes great! Many people complain that they aren't allowed to fill their plates, but you have to understand that it's better to get something more often than to throw half of it away - after all, it's food that costs money!

I would even give minus stars if that were possible. Service starts on a plate and asks why you take so much when the plate is normally filled. (With an ALL YOU CAN EAT) that's unbelievably bad, you have to be honest. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Everything fried with a lot of oil and no quality whatsoever. You can't eat at TOPAS Asia in Hamm!!!

Unfortunately the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. With the all-you-can-eat offer, you should actually be able to eat as much as you want. But from the very first plate I was spoken to rudely by the owner because I had taken five lemon slices. In addition, he and his employees constantly watched us and checked whether we were actually eating the food on site - an extremely unpleasant feeling! After we tried to leave the restaurant because of this disrespectful behavior, the owner charged full price for four people even though we had barely eaten. Only after the police got involved was it explained to him how an all-you-can-eat works and that this is not the way to treat your guests. Definitely not a recommendation. If you value friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere, you should avoid this shop!

A year ago we were happy with the food. Now the food doesn't taste good anymore! The squid rings are made from pressed meat, mussels taste like rubber tires, etc. In plain language, quantity instead of quality. Thanks Expensive Germany no wonder anymore!!! Staff unfriendly answers.. Father-in-law has stomach surgery and can only manage 1 mini plate.. Nevertheless we have to pay in full! It's not like that in Soest... our daughter ate more for the children's price! Never again. Then rather Soest-Menden or car rip-off Unna! So far the quality of the restaurants is good

You can still tell that the restaurant is housed in a former car dealership. It has very large rooms, but unfortunately they look a bit hall-like. Unfortunately, if there are many guests present, the volume is not dampened by carpets or other textile decorations. The last time I was there was "during the week" when the crowds weren't so big. The volume in the restaurant was ok, and the buffet offering remained extensive, even with the smaller number of guests. I like to put together my own plate at the Mongolian buffet. There is a large selection of fish and meat. Surprisingly, despite the small number of guests, I had to wait a relatively long time for the plate to be prepared... I always find the self-service option for non-alcoholic drinks something that takes getting used to. Although these are included in the buffet price (29 € is still a hefty price), I don't like to grab bottles that have already been opened or partially emptied. In terms of taste, the food is okay, but I'm missing an offer in the Asian buffet (i.e. the "ready-made" dishes) that only includes vegetables - or I've always overlooked it. In my opinion, vegetables are always only offered as a side dish to a meat/fish dish.

The place is initially relatively large. There are individual rooms that you can rent for anything. Weddings, birthdays etc. The impression is very good, it is very clean and you are warmly welcomed by the staff right from the start, who will take you to a free place even without a reservation. Lunch is offered from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will be reviewed here. The selection is definitely reasonable for the money. There are the classics like nuggets, fries, fried duck noodles, etc. But also well-prepared sushi and delicious homemade sauces. There is also a great selection of desserts, ice cream, cakes, puddings, chocolate fountains with fruit. Overall, I can recommend the place for everyone

The shop is really classy. We have been a customer at the Kaiser Palast for years because we can get there on foot. This time we tried Topaz and we were all very impressed. Very clean and nice atmosphere. The pots were all well filled and they were diligently refilled. The service was very friendly. Empty plates were cleared away immediately. The toilets are also very clean. No comparison to other restaurants. My stomach doesn't cause any problems either. After visiting the other Chinese, I had to go to a toilet as quickly as possible. We'd love to come back. Once again we ate delicious food. Everything great

The food wasn't the best. I would have expected more just because of the beautiful ambience. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the restaurant. Although the waiters were polite, they took food from my plate that I had cooked on the grill because they thought it was too much. I think I can probably decide for myself how much of what I take. In addition, the Coke bottles had obviously been refilled themselves. I recognized this because the lid wasn't completely closed and there was too much cola in the bottle.

Wow, I love the service, the food is amazing, the atmosphere was pretty good but there where children running around. I love that u can eat for two hours straight until you are so full u cannot get up to leave. Be sure not to eat too much.but I personally don't like the vanilla pudding it taste weird. Has improved a lot. Lunch buffet is good and tasty. Non-alcoholic drinks are included. All this for 17.50 euros (beer/wheat beer 2 drinks free, each additional beer/wheat beer only costs 2 euros extra)

In terms of food, there was a great selection, everything we tried was very tasty, fresh and hot. It wasn't super full but it was busy and everything was always refilled. The service was also very good, very friendly, plates were cleared quickly and everything was ok. I can't understand the bad reviews. We were there for the first time today and will be back. The only drawback was the toilets as they still need to be expanded, everything else was great.
