I had the dan dan noodles - very good! Noodles were fresh. I did ask for “very spicy” and it definitely was that (and I’m Indian!) 😂 The decor is quite inviting as well. Bit of a hidden gem!

Delicious and authentic food! The cold noodles are especially amazing. Our only criticism is the slightly smaller portions. If you're really hungry, you'll have to order some of the tasty side dishes. They also have a loyalty card; after 10 main courses, you get the next one free :)

A truly delicious Szechuan restaurant. Everything we tried was extremely tasty. The handmade noodles and wontons are highlights, but the "side dishes," some of which function more like small dishes, are also quite something. In addition to the cold sliced ​​beef in chili oil, we also had the boiled peanuts, definitely an interesting change from the classic edamame side dish. Since the menu offers many "side dishes" in addition to the noodle-focused main courses, Safe Mega is a great place to share anything in a group. If you order a bowl of rice for €1.50, you can also use up any leftovers. Overall, the price is reasonable. It's nicely decorated, but we found it a bit bright. You have to go.

Delicious, authentic food with generous portion sizes. This is definitely one of my favorite spots in Cologne! Wontons are perfectly cooked in a tasty broth. Small plates are also great, good texture and sauce. Definitely coming back for the hand pull noodles!

I was tired from hiking today and ate some rice! The cold dishes were so delicious! Last time I had noodles, this time I had cold dishes.

Authentic food & a super nice, modernly decorated restaurant near Zülpicher Platz. I had the noodles – delicious, apparently homemade – with yellow peas (馏豌杂) and the ice cream (冰粉) – also very good and refreshing. I will definitely order here again!

I think the food is a novel interpretation, and it tastes really delicious. But chopsticks are mandatory, so I took off my sweater just in case 😅 Very friendly service; I've never had a waitress say "please" so often.

It's very close to uni sport, perfect for playing ball with friends and then going straight to the gym!

A special feature is the open kitchen, where you can watch the chefs pulling noodles. The service is warm, attentive, and makes you feel immediately welcome. We will definitely be back very soon.

Super delicious, authentic cuisine from the Sichuan/Chongching region. We tried a few things from the menu, and everything was excellent, varied, and flavorful. The spiciness can be adjusted to suit your taste, making it very accessible even for those with little experience in authentic Chinese cuisine. The super friendly staff and owner create a very pleasant atmosphere. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

One of the best Chinese noodles places in town! The noodles are truly delicious! The sauce and ingredients are perfectly mixed, and the noodles themselves are very chewy! I'll definitely be back! Dongwu has finally opened in Cologne! The noodles are nicely kneaded and chewy, and the bowl of mixed noodles has just the right amount of ground peas and minced meat! The sweet and sour pork ribs are cooked perfectly and are flavorful!

I was here for the first time today and I'm thrilled! Finally, truly good Chongqing/Sichuan cuisine in Cologne. We had various appetizers (the selection of appetizers/side dishes for sharing is very large, so there's really something for everyone), all of which were incredibly delicious. My personal favorite was the eggplant in chili oil. The main course comes in a variety of hand-pulled noodles, with or without soup, and the spice level of the dish can be customized. I thought my noodle soup with braised beef was incredibly good; super flavorful with the perfect level of spiciness, and the portion was generous. I will definitely come back and try the other dishes. The service was very friendly and attentive, and there's also a selection of veggie dishes on the menu. Highly recommended!

Pretty nice spot serving authentic Chinese food from the southwest region! The place is clean, and the cooking process is transparent, you can even watch the chef hand-pulling noodles through the window!! I tried the Chongqing noodles, deliciously flavorful and satisfyingly spicy! If you can handle heat and are up for a challenge, you definitely won’t be disappointed!

The environment is comfortable and clean, suitable for daily work meals, friends' gatherings and company gatherings. The food is authentic. I ordered a bowl of mixed noodles and wonton stew as main dishes, both of which were delicious and generous in ingredients. I ordered sweet and sour spare ribs and bang bang chicken as side dishes, which tasted authentic. I highly recommend it and will visit often.

We already knew Dong Wu from Düsseldorf, but this newly opened shop in Cologne is no slouch! All the dishes were delicious – we particularly enjoyed the Bang Bang Chicken, the Dan Dan Mian noodles, and the spicy beef with Sichuan peppercorns. The cucumber salad is also highly recommended. If you like Chongqing and Szechuan cuisine, this is the place for you. The processes certainly need some easing, but the staff were super friendly and very attentive. We will definitely be back 😊🙏🏼

This restaurant has a good selection of sushi with great lunch deals. The quality of the food was good and the price is reasonable and exceptional with the lunch deals. However, the service is just ok and can be quite slow. I went there in an afternoon there were just two table there including me but they forgot my drinks orders and I need to request it again after 20 mins. Overall it was just an ok experience.

This restaurant is definitely one of my favorites when it comes to sushi. I found the service there very friendly and humorous. The decor is very authentic and the downtown location makes the store easily accessible. There is a large selection of really delicious sushi. From makis, nigiris and sashimi to salad made from seaweed plants, there is really everything there. It's definitely worth a visit... 5/5 stars

The TOKYO is a Japanese restaurant in Cologne. It's not bad, but not good either. Over the years I've been going there the quality has declined. But for Cologne it's pretty good.

Super lebkeres Sushi. Definitiv eine Empfehlung!

Am 25.11.23 Samstag um 18:50 Uhr bestellt. Nach 70 Min. Angerufen und gefragt wo das Essen bleibt. Mir wurde gesagt wenn sie gedult haben wir Liefern evtl. halbe Std. Nach einer weiteren Std. Mehrfach angerufen ohne Erfolg. Keiner ging mehr dran. Als ich nach 2,5 Std dahin gefahren bin war das Essen nicht vorbereitet also warteten wir. Nach über 3 Std. Das Essen bekommen und kontrolliert . Alles schien in Ordnung zu sein. Dann der Supergau, Zuhause um 22:30 Uhr angekommen und festgestellt das in keiner Sushi Box Soja Soße ist!!! Ich meine wie kann ein Sushi Laden Soja Soße vergessen?!?!!! Wir konnten nicht Essen. Auch beim Preis kam man uns nicht entgegen lächerliche Edamame und panierte Garnelen bekommen. Auch hier gibg wieder keiner ans Telefon! Bei einer Bestellung von 58€ eine absolute Unverschämtheit und definitiv nie wieder! Man hätte uns absagen müssen sodass wir wo anders bestellt hätten. Ein Trauma erlebt und ich hatte besuch Zuhause.

Bei Lieferando bestellt um 19:00 mit einer Lieferzeit von 60 min. Nach 90min noch keine Ware erhalten, woraufhin der Kontakt telefonisch gesucht wurde. Dieser konnte nicht stattfinden da keiner den Anruf angenommen hat. Aus diesem Grund direkt bei Lieferando beschwert, kurzerhand wurde die Bestellung auf geliefert gestellt ohne auch nur einen Rückruf geschweige denn die Lieferung erhalten zu haben. Das alles bei einem Bestellwert von über 60€

Für alle, die Japan besucht haben und von der wunderbaren japanischen Küche begeistert waren, kennen sie ihre leckeren Gerichte, hier ist ein wahres japanisches Restaurant! Ich besuche ihn mindestens einmal in der Woche! Mein Lieblingsgericht: Tempura / Tenpura, (japanisch ら ん ぷ ら / 天 ぷ ら / 天 麩 羅 / 天婦羅) ist so lecker! :-))) Si hablamos de un auténtico restaurant japonés, este es verdaderamente un exquisito lugar para deleitarse con la comida japonesa! Buen ambiente y el propietario de este local es un excelente anfitrión! Gracias

Sehr authentisches Restaurant mit leckeren warmen Gerichten und Sushi. Preis/Leistung ist sehr gut und der Service ist sehr freundlich und immer zu einem Spaß aufgelegt. Waren zwei Mal kurz hintereinander hier und freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.
