Toast & Hot Dog by Yale in Berlin

Well......I still go here on a regular basis while on my way to the U- Bahn when I want a quick snack. The service is always fast and friendly. The sausages, however, are rather bland and so are the buns. But, when your hungry and in a rush.......

Delicious hot dogs with service that is a little too slow. My partner and I each had two hot dogs and shared a drink and stayed under €20. Hot dogs tasted fresh and weren't heavy on the stomach. There were a variety of different hot dog variants with American names. The service was very nice and friendly, but the pace of work was worthy of a Sunday (but that was manageable). Gladly again!

Unfortunately it was closed, I went to this area just for the hotdog so it was really annoying when I arrived and it was closed. Even though it showed that it was open until 8pm

If you’re craving some bratwurst or rindwurst, with an American touch this place hits the spot 🌭 . They also have Korean Corn Dogs and currywurst mit pommes 🍟 The biggest downside for us was that the price seems quite high for what you get. For reference, a nice kebab in Berlin will run you anywhere between 5-7 euros. It’s accessible, tasty and loaded with meat and veggies. Yet a hot dog at The Big Dog can be anywhere between €7,50 to a whooping €14,00 for the Berlin Cheesesteak. That’s not including a side, which their fries are delicious, but they will run you anywhere between €6-8. That being said, they do have a lunch special from Monday to Friday. For €11,90 you can get the hot dog of the week, French fries and a small drink. Overall, the food was tasty, just a bigger sausage would be nice. You get more bread than anything. - @osofoodies

I regret that I didn’t read the reviews before 😢 I bought toast with disgusting sausage! It’s hard to even call it sausage!
