10.05 my girlfriend wanted to surprise me with friends for my birthday and reserved a table here for 4 people by email, which was also confirmed by email. Arrived at the restaurant at 6:37 p.m., no table reservation, asked for the name 3 times, then finally got a table after about 5-10 minutes after consultation with 3 other service staff. So far so good, after a few minutes the service person came, we ordered drinks and asked them to come back in 5 minutes to order the food, then we were forgotten, that can happen, no problem, when we asked the colleague the service came again, the device for taking the order didn't work, okay no problem either, the service person left again and was promptly forgotten again. After further inquiries, the service came back and we were finally able to order food. No big special requests or reorders, just 3 starters and 1x sushi as a starter, that was clearly mentioned. 4x main course including 1x sushi platter. In the meantime we had received the drinks, my Frozen Mango Daiquiri was a strawberry Daiquiri, I thought it would taste good too. Then the starter unfortunately came without the small portion of sushi that was ordered with the starter. When we asked, we had to be content with it sometimes taking a little longer. All right, we thought and ate the starters, about 20 minutes later the main courses came, on the sushi plate my friends' sushi was then the sushi of our friends that we had ordered as a starter, we accepted no problem and simply shared the sushi as it should have been. Well, until then everything is bearable. The friends' 2 main courses were both like on the menu with fresh vegetables, only one dish just had carrots and peppers on it and the other dish had more different vegetables, so it wasn't on the menu and when we asked the service, who was still at the table, we were told different sauces = different vegetables, which was incomprehensible to us because the sauces were basically the same. Service gone again, my wok with chicken and curry sauce thought I would definitely be there soon, after waiting 5 minutes and eating part of the sushi plate it was clear to me that my main course had been forgotten and as you can imagine it was enough and I simply lost my appetite. When the service asked if everything was OK, I told them everything, as I did here, and they apologized. I then asked for the bill, which we received and paid for and asked for a receipt which was then brought to us by a colleague who placed it on the table and wished us a very friendly, lovely evening. I thought it was okay, we'll wait 10 minutes to see if anything else happens, unfortunately there was no response. When I left the restaurant I went to the counter and asked for the boss, who was there promptly, apologized to me and emphasized several times that we could do better and what could he offer me? Well, what can I say about a very good restaurateur, I would have expected him to take the bill, issue me a voucher and ask me to come back at some point and be disabused of it; whether I come or not is then my business, so he wouldn't have lost anything 😊. I'm someone who says something when it's just no longer possible and I've rarely had an experience like yesterday. I have to say we eat out in different restaurants 6 - 8 times a month. I only write reviews if it was extremely bad or extremely good. Starters were 4 stars Sushi 3.5 stars Main dishes that I saw at our table and also tried 3 stars. All in all a bit too expensive for the dishes, performance and service. The 1 star is because I simply can't recommend anyone to eat here. There are several restaurants in Ulm and the surrounding area that can do better My wish for the restaurant is that none of its guests ever have to experience something like that again.

We were there for dinner with colleagues. The restaurant is very modern and attractively furnished, but we sat in the center of the room, which made the noise level seem quite loud. The staff was friendly and delivered the food very quickly. The portions tasted very tasty and were beautifully presented. The starter soup Prawn Coconut-Curry Soup (No. 6) was amazing in terms of taste and harmonized perfectly with coconut, mint and creamy. The remaining dishes were also very harmonious on the palate with a fiery spiciness. I can only recommend the restaurant.

Stylish modern restaurant that we discovered by chance. There was little going on at lunchtime. The dishes are freshly prepared and are of high quality, and are also presented in a visually appealing manner. Even though there wasn't much going on, we had to wait a relatively long time, which was of course due to the fresh preparation.

The restaurant was very full, which basically speaks for its popularity - unfortunately we had to wait over 50 minutes for our main courses (fried noodles and sushi) that evening. Unfortunately when the food came it was only lukewarm instead of hot. The taste was okay, but due to the long waiting time and the temperature, it unfortunately didn't leave a very positive impression. Another point: The chopsticks were disposable - I would find a more sustainable solution with reusable chopsticks much better. Overall okay, but with room for improvement.

Wir waren spontan in Ulm und haben über Tripadvisor ein Restaurant gesucht. Die Bewertungen und Fotos haben uns überzeugt dort hin zu gehen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Zum Personal: Absolut freundlich, zuvorkommend, Gästeorientiert und unkompliziert! Selten so freundlich bedient geworden! Das Ambiente: sauber und geschmackvoll. Speisen und Getränke: Sehr gut! Man merkt das frisch gekocht wird! Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert! Hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und werden mit Sicherheit wieder kommen! Vielen Dank

One of my fav sushi place in town! the place is so cute and cozy - good for hang out. been here 3 times and here are the menu I've tried: 💛ebi fry roll 9/10 fried prawn, avocado on top avocado, flying fish roe, mango sauce the combination is so good in the mouth 🍣salmon maki 9/10 the fried sushi is so crunchy but not dry. They have mango sauce which is so nice vegan crispy sushi 9/10 🍜fried noodles with prawns 8/10 prawn perfectly cooked, the fried noodles seasoned well quite good, just a bit too salty for my taste 💛salmon lover its a platter 8.9/10 Its a mix of variants. I love it especially the inside out sushi. It's so soft the salmon outside and inside boom its crunchy 💛Mojito 8/10 💛Ice tea blueberries ( Beeren Eistee) 8/10 innari sushi 7.5/10 💛dessert fried sesame & mochi and ice 8.5/10 only complaint the portion is not as big as I thought and the chopsticks are still one single used - hopefully they can use stainless chopsticks

Nous avions réservés et quelle belle surprise , une belle adresse a mettre dans vos cahiers de routes pour saveurs exotiques , nous avons goutés les Gyoza , les sushis et un bol de pâtes Udon , et tout était parfait , accompagné d'un cocktail glacé juste splendide.....

Quite a large store that is designed to provide food. It does the job well: food comes very quickly even when it's full and, as expected, tastes Euro-Asian with a hard soy flavor. The presumably homemade kimchi in the “Coming Home to Mom” dish was very positive. The classic spring roll also seemed homemade, even if the taste was indistinguishable from common convenience products other than the dough. So get in, feed ok and then you're off. What was strange was that we weren't allowed to order a portion of sushi as a starter. In the rush, service struggled a bit not to be annoyed by the customer, but everything was within reason.

My favorite place for sushi or other Asian dishes😊! The atmosphere is simply great and the service staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The menu is very diverse, the quality is really good and the food/drink is beautifully and attractively presented/served. Reasons enough to keep coming back.😋

Were here for the first time today and immediately found the atmosphere cozy and very nice! Had a great place with a view of the sushi bar. The food from the soup to the excellent sushi and the delicious dessert was worth every penny Particular praise goes to our very friendly, warm service worker ELIAS Always at the table at the right time, very friendly and great with recommendations! We had such a good time! The food was tasty, but the cozy vibe and friendly service made it even better. We ordered crispy chicken and some fried veggies. Both were really good, but I have to say the veggies were my favorite—they were perfectly fried and super flavorful. It was a really satisfying meal!

The three of us were here on a Sunday and ordered the You&Me sushi platter, which was enough after a delicious starter. It was beautifully presented and very tasty. The drinks and dessert also tasted good. The chic ambience refined the culinary delights. The staff was very accommodating and personable. Although we had made a reservation for 4 p.m., we were there too early for some reasons and (it doesn't cost anything to ask) we were lucky enough to get a table that we were allowed to choose more than an hour earlier. People also asked about intolerances/allergies. The To Kyo is easy to reach. A parking garage is right around the corner. I found value for money quite okay. I would happily recommend the restaurant. We will definitely come back here again to try other dishes.

My wife and I stopped in Ulm halfway through our trip to South Tyrol. TO KYO is an impressive sushi temple with delicious food, great service, and very friendly staff. 100% recommendation! 😊

I recently ordered several sushi platters to pick up. The food was good and comparable to other restaurants in this category - our guests were satisfied. The service person was friendly and accommodating when we picked it up. However, the boss left a somewhat strange impression because when he asked for a discount he seemed condescending and made it clear that he didn't need it. Ultimately, however, he agreed with me in terms of price and was still very helpful. Overall, the food can definitely be recommended, but based on the experience described, I personally will take a break for now.

The food was really good, but it took wayyyy too long for the food to arrive. Also they forgot to give us some of the Sushi that we ordered and didn't believe us until we showed them a picture we took BEFORE we ate it.

There were three of us there on Saturday evening. Unfortunately my reservation didn't work out, but the service staff made sure that we got a nice place with enough time. The food was very tasty, it is really very, very nice and the prices are good if you are not a teenager than a teenager the prices are a bit bottomless but otherwise everything was great except maybe the mango ice cream which was acceptable but not the best

Also suitable for vegans. Everything is described very precisely. There is a separate page for vegan dishes. Ambiance is simply perfect. It's relatively dark, which I really like. It's clean and the staff is very friendly. Every employee welcomes guests with a smile. All three courses were served quickly and were very tasty. Could be favorite restaurant if I lived nearby. All in all, we felt really comfortable here, which is not “normal” for us.

Wer Asiatische Küche mag oder sie kennenlernen möchte, ist hier genau richtig! Absolute Empfehlung - wir kommen immer wieder gerne!

Wir hatten gemeinsam eine Sushi Roll und anschließend verschiedene Gerichte. Die Roll war sehr lecker und auch meine Gebratenen Reisnudeln mussten sich nicht verstecken. Absolut Lecker und sicher nicht das letzte Mal, dass wir hier gegessen haben.

I would like to give more stars because the food was really delicious. However, the waiting times were quite long and the service also has room for improvement. After our plates were cleared away, we were essentially “hosted” and therefore we could no longer order any drinks and even when we wanted to pay and had communicated this to various service staff, we still had to wait longer until we could do so.

Were here on a Sat. The location is nice and the portions are large. The food was ok, but nothing special. We sat for almost 3.5 hours from 12 to 3.30 p.m. and also ordered something to drink again. The tables were only a third full. Then the waitress came and said we had been sitting for a long time and whether we wanted the bill or did we want to order something else? Really outrageous. If that is the new service, then the bars will remain empty.

One of the TOP 3 Asian fusion cuisine restaurants in Ulm and the surrounding area. The quality of the food is always 1a. Sushi also very tasty. The only point of criticism: you almost always wait 40-60 minutes for your starter or sushi. However, the service points this out before the order is placed. Nevertheless, in almost all other restaurants it takes a maximum of 20 minutes until the sushi is at the table. Otherwise, the service is very friendly and the furnishings are very comfortable and modern. Bonus: Good lunch at moderate prices. We come back regularly.

Our server Josie was an absolute blast. Super nice, super fast and committed. Simply TOP. She definitely deserves a big raise. The rest of the team was also very nice and everyone gave us a nice evening. We'll definitely come back here. The food was also great :-)

The restaurant is beautifully designed inside and you immediately feel at home. The service was also very friendly and open and there was fun to be had. The food was an absolute highlight for me! I had a bowl with fried shrimp and it was incredibly tasty thanks to the different proportions such as lots of vegetables, kimchi, seaweed salad and different sauces. I have always ordered so far and am very satisfied. Recently I was delivered the wrong dish when I ordered and without much hesitation I had the entire order delivered again and free of charge within 30 minutes. The second dish was also included again so that both were warm. THANK YOU Marcel for such hospitable service and the delicious food.

My wife and I were warmly welcomed at TO KYO. The service was super fast and very polite! The vegan sushi was very delicious as was the homemade ginger tea. The highlight was definitely the sesame balls with mochi (vegan dessert). Which gave me and my wife palate orgasms.

The dish of the day (dog) was very tender, the chef's special (cat) was also very tasty. Our children ate pureed frog with fried cricket biscuits and loved them! The singing chef was great. What a cool tent!

You have to bring a lot of time. You can't be hungry when you go out to eat here. If the main course takes over 1.5 hours, you have enough trouble in your stomach that you don't need anything else. Not recommended.

Had a lovely dinner here, booked online (though place is huge), great service (spoke good English), very nice food with large serves. Drinks were also good (nice house made lemonade) and room was nice and not too loud despite being pretty full. Place was sending out a lot of takeaway/ubereats as well. Well priced. Lots of vegan/ vegetarian options available

Wunderschönes Erlebnis Von Beginn an bekommt man hier das Gefühl , dass man hier herzlich willkommen ist. Das Ambiente lädt einfach ein mehrere Stunden hier zu verbringen. Der herzliche und kompetente Service verstärken dieses Gefühl zudem . Das Essen sucht in dieser Preisklasse seinesgleichen. Das Sushi ist ein Gaumenschmaus . Yesterday we visited To Kyo in Ulm. At first our impression was very good. The service lady was very friendly and our orders were taken quickly. The drinks were also brought quickly. But then everything went haywire. Our main courses were staggered or brought to the main course. It was initially not possible to reorder the drinks because the service lady no longer paid any attention to us. When we told another service lady our order, no drinks came to our table. At some point the lady responsible for us came to our table and we placed our drink order again. After over 20 minutes still no drinks. When we asked, the drinks were brought to us, but they weren't the top priority. The plates weren't cleared either. The starter plates remained on our table until the end. The reason for the whole thing was probably a larger group who had previously registered by telephone because they were under time pressure. But with all understanding, the remaining guests should not be forgotten. A lady from the next table complained to the service and even asked the management. Strangely enough, they too were noticed and, I would say, even courted. Even though the food was very good and well prepared, the whole thing unfortunately put a damper on our visit yesterday.
