It's always a culinary pleasure to eat at the Heidehof Restaurant, despite being 50 km away... you always manage to amaze us with your spectacular and delicious dishes, ummmmm delicious. Thank you, and see you next time...

Everything was excellent. Very friendly, polite service. The pizza was delicious, fresh, and served hot. I will definitely be back.

We used to enjoy eating here often, but it's not what it used to be... We were here on our last night of vacation. We got a seat without any problems. Our drinks order was taken very quickly (Hefeweizen and a small shandy), but it took a long time. While we were ordering our food (from the same lady), a colleague brought the drinks. My shandy was large instead of small (not so bad), and they also brought another drink that we supposedly ordered – which we sent back. The side salad arrived quite quickly – unfortunately, it had some brown lettuce leaves in it. The main courses (breaded schnitzel with spaetzle and sauce, and tortellini in a cream and cheese sauce) weren't served together. I was almost halfway through the tortellini by the time my husband got his food, which is a shame – we haven't experienced that in any other restaurant. The portions were large, but we were still disappointed. The tortellini were from a bag, and the cheese and cream sauce also tasted like something from a package. The breading on the schnitzel was also bland and definitely not breadcrumbed (we suspect it was mixed with oat flakes or something similar), the spaetzle were dry, and the gravy was also from a package. We paid almost €50 for that. We politely declined the offer of a schnapps or espresso on the house. Another very negative thing: the lower tablecloth had several dried sauce stains on the side. The upper tablecloth was clean – apparently, only the top one had been changed after the guests before us. My husband then pointed out that it wasn't his and received the somewhat terse reply, "Yeah, yeah, we'll clean it up." Even though the restaurant is very conveniently located on the Heidehof campsite, we won't be coming here again.

Food was pre-ordered. Unfortunately, after an hour, they still haven't gotten it right. I had to wait another 35 minutes on the spot. Outrageous.

We were there for the first time last night, the pizza🍕 was super delicious, only the edge of the pizza was a bit burnt, it could have stayed in the oven a little shorter then it would have tasted 1A but that can happen, it was also very full last night

Today was our first time here, and certainly not our last. The food was excellent, the portions generous, and even though it was packed, the service was attentive and friendly.

A truly wonderful, family-run restaurant (reservations required) right next to the Heidehof campsite. We ate here three times and were always very satisfied. The exceptionally friendly and courteous service of the predominantly young staff is particularly noteworthy. Here, you're still served in good Swabian dialect 😊 Thank you for everything, and see you soon.

Not recommended. The chefs and wait staff smoke at the guests' tables. They even sit at the end of the table to finish smoking. Then the waiter forgets to take your order and never even looks around. You're left with empty drinks and have to go to the buffet yourself to reorder. They apologize a thousand times afterward, but they don't improve. We waited over an hour for our food and then had to go and get it ourselves. We waited another hour to pay and had to go and pay again.

I was sold a beer by the glass. The restaurant was actually already closed. I took the beer to the square and paid a €5 deposit for the glass. The next day, I wanted to return it. But no one knew anything about it. And they were rude at the same time. .

We ate there twice during our stay at the Heidehof. Very friendly staff, and both the pizzas and pasta were always great! You can enjoy delicious Italian food here. We highly recommend this restaurant 👍

I was here as a camper and went to the restaurant both evenings. The food: I had the Hawaiian pizza, which was excellent. One of my friends also particularly praised the soup and gnocchi. The waiters were very friendly and everyone was very personable. We felt very comfortable. There was nothing to complain about. A visit is worthwhile. And thanks to the team. Our group will be back soon and are already missing our stay a little. :)

We were so impressed! We think the 4.2 stars are completely unjustified. The service was great – and so was the food! The only thing we didn't like was the pizza dough. But that doesn't stop us from giving it 5 stars. One of the best Italian restaurants we've been to so far.

Ordered a calzone, which felt like it was in the oven for a minute, so it wasn't even cooked through! It could be better! Otherwise, the order seemed to come quickly. The pizza was also lukewarm. Seasoning was thrown in one spot, which shows that the whole order had to be done quickly! Next time, I'll be back at MC.. 👎🏻

Had to wait nearly two hours for 3 pizzas. The waitress told us it would take a lil bit longer. Two hours is not “a lil bit longer” that is letting people starve. It is sad to see such a good campsite house such a bad restaurant. Other people that arrive later get food faster than other people, pure pure chaos. The waitress we had was very impolite as well, we got the menu immediatly and had to tell her what we wanted to drink because she grew impatient. She then refused to have eyecontact with us for the rest of the evening. As for the place itself it looks good and has a nice location. Pizza was decent, but again, took way too long. But that’s about all the good stuff I could say about this place. When leaving we saw the kitchen get a vodka-redbull. Very unprofessional if you ask me.

We were disappointed. It looks so nice inside... everything is beautifully set and made with love...looks like a better Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, upon closer inspection, the tablecloths were dirty (6 p.m. reservation). When we asked if we could have the tomato sauce on the side, the waitress said she didn't know if it was possible - not just for large portions (??). The wine was out of stock - they immediately brought a new one upon request - but it seemed like they knew why. My schnitzel was very tasty - unfortunately, it was completely soaked in ready-made Maggi brown sauce. It wasn't stated on the menu that it was served with it. What a shame! The pasta carbonara was super dry - my son barely ate any of it. It wasn't tasty. My husband's steak; one well done, one medium rare... unfortunately, it wasn't the medium he ordered. One waitress seemed very competent – she even offered a shot as an apology (but we didn't want to go for it and declined), but she's so loud when announcing the dishes that every guest gets a fright. All in all – it could be 1,000 times better! It's enough for a campsite.

One of the best seafood salad and eat

The food is very good...and the prices are quite OK...and the staff is friendly and on the ball...I can only recommend eating there.

Super tasty food, unbeatable prices and comfortable seating

Restaurant on the campsite (passing through section) where many permanent campers eat. If you come here for a single time, you don't feel welcome. Starter (soup) was very salty. Main course (expensive fillet steak) served without sauce (asked for a sauce, but that was not possible) and with only very salty fries (the salt container is on the table) and frozen herb butter. The pasta was also very salty. When picking up the plate, we gave our opinion after which we were given the remainder in a container. Staff and chef sit down to drink beer and smoke at a table on the terrace. While the guests are not even finished yet. Desert was, after pointing, taken out of the display case and served on a plate. The pizzas will probably be very tasty but otherwise not recommended. (Except for the giant shrimps, but they are seriously expensive). We have eaten well here in the past but the quality has dropped considerably.

A lovely if a little haphazard restaurant...our waitress was lovely and the food delicious even if my order was wrong ( steak instead of the pork) but I didn't mind 😋

Super friendly staff, good advice, delicious food, and very good value for money. We camped at the adjacent site, ate here twice, and were very satisfied both times. We'd come back for that alone 😊

Venison goulash was very good, we only arrived at the restaurant at 1:30 p.m., but were served very friendly

A regular visit for us when we have an appointment in Ulm. Even today the service, the friendliness and the food with fresh ingredients were just perfect

The waitress who was responsible for us at the beginning wasn't particularly friendly and took the drink order incorrectly. We had onion roast and saltimbocca, both sauces were too salty. Instead of broccoli there were grilled vegetables that tasted burnt. The second drink didn't come at all. It also took a very long time until we got our food.

Staff friendly, food to pick up was ready on time, but in my opinion the price-performance ratio wasn't right. €14 for a small portion of lasagne is too expensive. See image.

The food from the old tenants was great! Was re-adopted. -Tablecloth was dirty -Pizza was floury, dry and too salty -Pizza dough was with egg In the evening after the visit, vomiting and stomach cramps. No thanks, never again.

We were in this pizzeria yesterday, I ordered Spaghetti Frutti die Mare. After 3 bites, a dirty pebble the size of a plum emerged. I brought the eaten plate to the counter. They took it out of my hand and disappeared into the kitchen...without an apology, without asking if I could bring something else...at the end the waitress cleared away the other plates and asked if it was tasty...when I said that I had expected an apology or a comment from the boss, I was offered a schnapps...unbelievably, the entire meal was also included in the bill. Only after asking again did I receive an invoice without the returned spaghetti. There was still no apology and I was able to leave hungry. And something like that in what appears to be a reputable restaurant...never again! I would be ashamed of this behavior at a price of 17 euros for spaghetti.

Unfortunately, this is very difficult for people who follow a plant-based diet. Because here eggs are added to the pizza dough. What remains is penne arrabiate (very small portion for a whopping 12 euros) and mixed salad (small! for 7 euros). Everything else, absolutely everything, contains animal products. Nice terrace on the campsite (but unfortunately as a larger group we had to sit inside in the stuffy, warm guest room, super nice warm August evening). Nice service.

The overall package was good in itself, but I found the service a bit inappropriate in terms of the atmosphere and our outdoor table was very unstable.

For years it was easy to eat there when you were passing through. But this year horrible no service unfriendly. Not clean inside. It was full, but it took forever and it was still impossible to eat. Definitely not recommended anymore, we prefer to go to the village next door, 9 minutes by car.

The food is always really good 👍 we've been coming here for years. Unfortunately, what doesn't always work properly is the service. The waitresses are disorganized and this results in long waiting times when receiving and serving drinks and food. We keep our fingers crossed that good staff will be found in the long term.

A delicious pizza in a camping atmosphere! Very good taste, perfect texture and consistency, undoubtedly some Italian hands made my pizza something magical.

Pizza okay, nothing more, nothing less. Price/performance but then a maximum of 3 stars because of the high price level! Very negative: Kitchen staff stands smoking in front of the entrance door or walks across the terrace smoking. In my opinion an absolute no-go! The outdoor area with a playground at the campsite is very good for children. Nevertheless, we probably won't be repeat offenders.

If the restaurant is full, you obviously have to wait a bit because the girls only have two hands, like us. Tino's sons-in-law served us the last few times. Of course, as usual, very friendly, courteous and do everything for the guest. We always enjoy visiting this restaurant.

The food is good, but unfortunately the service is rather inattentive. You have to gesticulate wildly to be noticed. The waiting time on the weekend was around 1 hour.

We asked personally about a reservation at lunchtime and were told that reservations in the garden area were not possible. In the evening we sat at an empty table and were asked by the owner to leave because the table was reserved (there was no sign or anything similar on the table). I have never experienced such an unfriendly (inn) host The food 2 days before was good.

We had reserved for 14 people at Pentecost. Staff and kitchen totally overwhelmed. A lot of pizzas were given out to waiting customers to take away, so unfortunately the guests in the restaurant didn't get anything. Pizzas were forgotten and baked later. After 2.5 hours and repeated payment requests, we all left the store disgruntled. We definitely won't be coming back.

Super delicious, we were invited to the birthday party, great staff, courteous, friendly, nice, Tino was a great host. The food was super tasty 12 out of 10 points.

The quality has deteriorated extremely. The pizzas are only thinly topped and you always get at least one wrong when you pick it up. What's up? For years you were the best pizzeria in the area and now you're such a trash. It's a shame.

We regularly pick up food and now it's time to leave a review. It can happen that you have a bad day and forget the anchovies you ordered and still get charged. But: We have been disappointed several times recently. The pizza is solid and ok so far, but the salad with turkey is awesome: Guys, you can't take convenience meat strips out of the bag, fry them to death again and only mix the salad dressing with powder. All in all tasteless and loveless. The seafood is mixed whole into the noodles and the added “sauce” simply tastes like nothing. We have already been disappointed several times by the quality you delivered, so we won't be ordering anything else for the time being. Please invest in a good kitchen again, otherwise people will stay away.

During our camping stay we tried pizza and pasta as well as salad. The price/performance ratio is not good at all. The taste is not good. The pizza was burnt and not tasty. The noodles only tasted like Maggi. We definitely wouldn't eat here again and are really disappointed. Given the prices and correspondingly small portions, you would at least expect appropriate quality. Very unfortunate. Doesn't work at all.

That was the worst pizza in my entire life. The frozen pizza from Aldi tastes better. That was the first and last time I ordered there. You don't even deserve one star

It was very cold when we arrived at 7 p.m. because it was supposed to be aired beforehand, nice service and good food! Then we wanted to order more wine but the boss didn't notice our empty glasses and preferred to drink one with his regular guests! Had dinner with friends today. This was very good. But the service was a disaster. It can't be the case that a waitress at the next table gives priority to serving people and doesn't clear our table with our unfinished pizzas and dishes. The next waitress comes and asks if we need a box for pizza. We approved this. We then said at the same time that we wanted another Aperol Sprizz and would like to pay. The pizzas remained and the Aperol wasn't brought either. After twenty minutes we told the first waitress that she could cancel the Aperol and that we would be happy to pay. She then provocatively went to another table and cashed in and talked to the guests for at least ten to fifteen minutes. Until our friend interrupted and said again that we wanted to pay. Then she pulled out our receipt from her tray and handed it to the first waitress and continued chatting with the guests. After trying to apologize, we left very disappointed. In addition, the pizzeria was not very busy. Unfortunately, as a service person you have to be aware that you may also be serving long-time guests at the campsite. And will definitely continue to tell people about this bad service.

Super leckere Pizza und auch der Service ist wahnsinnig herzlich und zuvorkommend.

Wir haben ein Wochenende auf dem Heidehof verbracht und dabei das Essen vom Restaurant ausprobiert. Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient, obwohl wir "nur" zum mitnehmen bestellt haben. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker. Wir würden sofort wieder hingehen!

Ich habe dort sehr gut gegessen und der Service war freundlich und flott. Das Lokal war sehr gut besucht, deshalb hat das Essen lange gebraucht. Das hat uns die Bedienung aber schon bei der Getränkebestellung mitgeteilt, deshalb geht das in Ordnung. Vier statt 5 Sterne nur für die Preisgestaltung, Die Preise sind für mich überzogen, deshalb wird das nicht mein Stammlokal.

Wir sind seit Jahrzehnten Kunden und haben es immer für die beste Pizza der Welt gehalten. Leider wurden wir enttäuscht…irgendetwas hat sich verändert. Pizza nicht mehr fluffig, viel zu hart, Schinken in den Rigantoni Riesen Stücke und knorpelig, süße Sauce… Was ist passiert? Wo ist euer Koch? Außerdem ist der Service wortkarg, fragt nicht nach Getränken und auch nicht ob das Essen geschmeckt hat. Bitte holt die Qualität wieder zurück!

Essen war recht gut. Nur leider wurde eine Person am Tisch mit seiner Bestellung vergessen und sein Essen kam als wir anderen schon fast fertig waren.

Leider hatten wir nicht reserviert und abends glücklicherweise doch einen Tisch bekommen, obwohl der Laden innen und außen absolut voll war. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich😇 und die Getränke kamen zügig. Essen kam nach 45min, was für uns völlig in Ordnung war. So konnten die Kinder noch spielen und wir unsere Getränke genießen. Das Essen war super lecker und die Größe meiner Pizza perfekt für den großen Hunger 😋 Sogar der Chef hatte Zeit für ein paar Worte und einen Grappa mit uns! Vielen Dank Tino, du hast ein tolles Team und spitzen Essen👍 Wir hatten einen schönen Abend bei euch🥇

Für ein Restaurant am Campingplatz sehr nett gemacht und lecker. Leider kein Tartufo, aber man kann wohl nicht alles haben ;-)
