Exceptional South American cuisine! Beautifully presented, although quite spicy and a bit overpowering with coriander. The ambiance was excellent, and the service was attentive. We felt at home.

I've been there several times and have always been impressed by the quality and flavors. This time, I found my seafood rice a bit too squid-heavy and missed the scallops. When I complained, they explained how it was prepared and explained that the ratios might not always be perfectly balanced—but that everything advertised was included. I was told I'd get a fresh portion, but I should keep eating anyway. A new portion arrived with three whole lobster clams on top! I've never experienced such a accommodating handling of a complaint—honor, my compliments!

The flavors explode on the tongue—fresh, intense, and perfectly balanced. The presentation of the dishes is fantastic: colorful, creative, and lovingly prepared. The service is attentive and warm, and the ambiance exudes genuine flair. It was an unforgettable experience from the first note to the last. Highly recommended!

Great food, there's no other way to describe it! All the dishes were excellent and were all devoured. The service spoke in English without asking, which we found inappropriate. Generally speaking, it's not a problem, but you should ask. The menu lists a 0.75-liter bottle of Scheurebe. It came in a bottle without a label, which surprised us quite a bit. It turned out it had been transferred from the draft into this bottle. The second one was also quite foamy. This should also be noted.

The place has very friendly service; the owner greeted us with a big smile, which is always appreciated. We were four adults (two vegans, one vegetarian, and one with no restrictions). The dishes are presented beautifully, but the portions are somewhat small, and the flavors tend to be quite spicy. The drinks are good, though nothing out of the ordinary. In my opinion, as a chef, it would have been nice if there was a bit more variety in the flavors to make the experience less monotonous. Still, it's worth a visit, knowing these details.

Incredibly exciting and unusual menu. I'm always surprised and delighted by how creative and delicious the food is. One or two more vegan options would be great, though. The atmosphere is like a vacation in Latin America. But it's also crowded, loud, and communication is mostly in Spanish and English.

For me, this is probably the best restaurant in Hamburg in its price range. Interesting and unusual combinations that you're unlikely to find anywhere else. Some of them sound strange, but they taste fantastic. You should definitely make a reservation, especially on weekends.

My first time trying Peruvian cuisine and this was a really good introduction to it. My top 3 that we’ve ordered were the ceviche, picanha and churros; I honestly can’t decide my favourite between them. Overall was very impressed and would 100% recommend coming here.

The food here is a 10/10 in terms of quality and taste. Portion sizes are more reminiscent of tapas, so you'll want to order many dishes to share with the entire table. Definitely worth a visit for a special occasion.

We've been here three times now, and if you're in the mood for a lively, loud, and bustling place, this is the place for you. The tables are close together, and the food comes quickly. Tigre was one of the first "hip" Latino restaurants in the area. There are more now, and so the food isn't quite as special, but it's still good.

One of my favorite restaurants in Hamburg. Despite regular visits, it never gets boring thanks to the constantly changing menu. Plus, excellent service and a fantastic wine selection.

Portion is rather smaller for the price but the taste is incredible. Atmosphere is great. You really feel like you are in Peru. Staff was friendly

The food is truly delicious! However, I find the prices for many dishes unreasonable (way too expensive). However, the staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was also very nice!

We ordered Tafelspitz, which unfortunately was very chewy. This was probably the first time that we didn’t fancy a dish at Tigre. Patatas bravas has been in the last two times not crunchy at all. The baby calamari was lovely together with another vegan dish. It’s always a surprise how vegan dishes can taste so good here. We ordered as well as Churros and Peruvian chicken. However, we realised that the portions got considerably smaller within the last year. We understand that the price of food has increased significantly within that time period but we were still hungry after paying 130€. We have been here many times and this time was unfortunately the least satifisfying visit to Tigre.

Four of us were at Tigre and had a legendary evening. We enjoyed every dish we ordered. Very special aromas, special taste, but still suitable for the European palate. The drinks were also on point. If I had to highlight something, I would recommend pisco sour, ceviche and barquito de Salmón. Undefeated, of course, is the leche de tigre...to be fooled! Yessss!!!

The Argentine waiter charged me double the amount I had consumed and when he realized his mistake, he treated me badly by saying he was not a thief because he was Latin American and made the situation unpleasant instead of apologizing and correcting himself. I am also Latin American and have never made any accusations. The waiter canceled the order but never asked for my card to return the money, which seems suspicious to me, and a day later I still haven't gotten my money back. The food is extremely expensive for the portions as the concept is tapas, but the price is for a main course. The food itself isn't bad, but the taste, paying double and feeling guilty when it's not your own fault ruins the experience.

It's very worth it for the food alone! Some of the service staff were a bit reserved, plates were cleared away when you still had the last bite in your mouth, but there was also very friendly service! The ambience of the store was pleasant and harmonious!

Disappointing overall experience despite an interesting idea The concept seems quite exciting at first glance, but unfortunately the implementation didn't convince me. The portion sizes are rather manageable and, in my opinion, do not have an optimal relationship to the price. The combination of Spanish and Mexican cuisine as well as creative taste ideas is certainly ambitious, but the execution can still be improved. Personally, I found the ambience to be more staged than authentic - that can be a matter of taste, but I felt that certain something was missing. The musical supporting program was quite loud, which certainly suits a busy evening - but if you just want to eat quietly, you should know that in advance. Overall, I had higher expectations, which unfortunately were not met.

Very pleasant restaurant with delicious food: a rather clear menu, but which offers everything. The service is super fast and friendly, the food comes quickly. The drinks are also incredibly tasty. There are also very professionally designed and covered outdoor spaces. The menu has to be scanned with a smartphone and is in English, but we immediately received very patient help and the service went through the entire menu with us calmly and explained everything.

Like being in Peru all over again. The food is a travel through Perus cuisine. The price isn’t. The chaufa is something special and with a pisco you walk straight to the Machu Picchu.

I took my parents here and we got lucky to get a last minute table. The food was just delicious and such a wide variety of flavours. It was truly a special dinner we will talk about for a long time. The staff was incredibly attentive and explained every dish! And their dessert recommendation was spot on. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Here the taste buds are tickled in an interesting way. Spicy, acidity, herbal aromas, some of them come as a surprise and delight. South American crossover cuisine. Highly recommended! Unfortunately the fun ends after 2 hours.

I went with my sister for her birthday and the food was INCREDIBLE from the starter, the main course, the drinks and the dessert. The best churros I have ever tasted (excellent secret recipe!!!). The service was great, they were able to speak to us in our native language and the food came out super fast regardless of whether the place was full. I recommend it 100/10 and I would go again several times :) the delicious loin and chicken, the passion fruit mimosas, the pisco and the incredible desserts

My absolute favorite shop in Hamburg! I've been there 6 or 7 times in the last 6 months because it's just that good. No matter who I take with me, he/she is thrilled. The quality of the dishes is top every time! Exceptional tapas that you can't get anywhere else. A taste experience for both meat lovers and vegetarians/vegans.

Great atmosphere, very nice staff, very appealing atmosphere, prices a little higher than average, be sure to reserve in good time. Relatively loud due to the tight seating and good occupancy. Meal time limited to 2/1 hour, but this is announced. English and Spanish are common languages, but there are also German-speaking waiters.

Excellent, food 100 pts. and the service was very good, I loved the place with the Bolivian diablada masks, the Peruvian ceviche and the Bolivian cheese bread (cuñapé) plus the delicious dessert.

Authentic Latin Americanas - very tasty dishes and drinks. Cool atmosphere and nice, helpful team. Just ask for recommendations! Unfortunately, when the store is full, it's a bit too loud, so conversations become a bit tiring in the long run. Tip: definitely try the patatas bravas and the pisco sour!

The food was simply incredibly delicious! We were particularly impressed with the Lomo Saltado – an absolute delight! The portions are rather small, but perfect for sharing. My girlfriend and I treated ourselves to three dishes plus a dessert and were pleasantly full. However, if you come with a lot of (male) hunger, you should order more. The service was very attentive and friendly. One small negative point: towards the end the music was a bit too loud, but overall a great experience.

The food was very tasty, the service was very attentive 😁. Unfortunately the music was too loud for us on Saturday evening and we didn't like it. We could barely talk. We would have stayed longer, but after dinner we changed places and continued drinking.

Tigre is by far one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Hamburg - a must every time I'm in the city. Many people think it is a classic Peruvian restaurant, but it is not in the traditional sense. Rather, it is a modern, fusion-like interpretation of Peruvian cuisine combined with other culinary influences - and that's what makes it so special. As a Peruvian, I can say this with a clear conscience: For example, the Lomo Saltado is served here without the typical “fries”, as is traditionally the case. But this interpretation is so incredibly delicious that it is one of my absolute favorite dishes on the menu. There are enough classic Peruvian restaurants, but there is only one Tigre! A big compliment to the kitchen, which always delivers excellent quality, and to the team, who are warm, attentive and with a beaming smile. I think it's great that many of the wait staff speak Spanish - it adds an extra authenticity to the experience. The ambience is also something very special: a mix of Peruvian culture with masks, pictures and other lovingly designed details that fit the overall concept perfectly. My recommendations: • Starter: Ceviche (be sure to order with “Ají” for an extra kick). • Main course: Lomo Saltado – an absolute delight! • Dessert: Everything on the menu – just ask for a recommendation. A tip for pisco lovers: The Pisco Sour is often mixed with Chilean Pisco. And as we Peruvians know: real pisco comes from Peru - what Chile produces is at best aguardiente. 😉 My tip: When ordering, indicate that you want to use Peruvian Pisco - then the Pisco Sour is really perfect. I'm really looking forward to my next visit. The Tigre is a real highlight in Hamburg and an absolute recommendation! Cheers 🥂

The service was phenomenal. The atmosphere and the place are very nice. The food is too expensive (and spicy) for what they serve you because they are not even tapas to order several things, because of how expensive it is, but you don't fill up with one plate either. A little disappointed. I would never return!

100% real Latin American flavors, I had the opportunity to try the vegan Kimchi & Cream, the vegan Patatas Bravas and the new Honey Moon dessert and they were all wonderful ✨ Even though most of the dishes I ordered were vegan, the flavors were still being intense and delicious, and what better than to end the night with a delicious dessert with hints of mango and honey. Everything was really perfect! 🩷

We were recommended to eat at Tigre by some friends - we were especially recommended the Patatas bravas. So we ordered them and the spicy crunchy eggplant, the Arroz con pato and the Arroz con mariscos. For dessert we had the Luna de Miel and the Churros. The eggplant was amazing! So was the Arroz con Mariscos! The Patatas bravas was a bit dull - disappointing and the duck breasts fat quite chewy. But It tasted good. Especially the rice! The Churros was the high point of the evening and highly recommended!!

The ceviche and salmon in the starter were from another planet! Also the beef with the creamy polenta and grilled onions. Really really strong.

Very good tasting food at slightly overpriced prices. When booking, it is clearly stated that the maximum length of stay is 2 hours, but that feels really stressful not relaxed on site. In terms of food, it really is a clear recommendation!

What a wonderful place Tigre is. I will start with the food, the quality is excellent, and flavors to die for. We tried the beff tacos, salmon tataki and the adovo pork. Wow is the only word to describe. The desserts were also delicious. All the people were very nice, and the place has a lovely atmosphere, with great music. A special thanks to Dhaniel!!!!! Just a great experience to be here. We shared a total of 8 dishes. Everything was excellent and an extreme taste experience. It was often borderline spicy, intensely herbal, and unusual in consistency. The ceviche was exceptional and different to what I was familiar with, a creamy sauce is poured at the table and a spicy oil is drizzled. The fish fades into the background due to its spiciness and intense taste. The roasted corn kernels took some getting used to at first, but then they fit quite well. The Arancini con Gamba with the fresh coriander was my highlight, next to the Lomo Saltado. Gladly again at any time.
