Tick-Tack Café & Restaurant in Stahnsdorf

The café is truly quaint – beautiful clocks from bygone decades hang and stand everywhere, making you feel like you're in a cozy museum. In the entrance area, there's a mini flea market with little treasures, the proceeds of which go to charity. The food is good, down-to-earth German cuisine with huge portions, and it's always delicious! I especially appreciate the seasonally changing dishes – we went for the pork knuckle and were more than full and satisfied afterward! In the summer, you can also sit outside on the fairly large terrace and enjoy the fresh air. Highly recommended!

I was recently at the Stahnsdorf cemetery with my wife, and we spontaneously decided to stop in here afterward since we were in the area. The Tick-Tack seems to cater primarily to funeral parties, which is rather ironic given the name. The whole concept is perhaps a bit odd – there are old clocks everywhere, which you can also buy, and there's a kind of small flea market at the entrance. All the knick-knacks in the restaurant make everything look rather cluttered and a bit shabby. The fact that the tables weren't particularly clean didn't exactly help the ambiance. The service, on the other hand, was fantastic: friendly and very attentive staff. But the most important thing is the food, and here they serve classic German home-style cooking. The menu is rather small, and they regularly offer seasonal dishes, which is a good sign. A big plus: there were several vegetarian options, which, as a vegetarian, I was naturally pleased to find. We tried their house beer, which was quite alright. My wife ordered the roast goose leg and was able to choose her side dishes (sauerkraut or kale, potatoes or dumplings). She was completely satisfied with the meal; she thought it tasted fantastic and was well worth the €32. I had a potato and zucchini casserole, which was surprisingly inexpensive at €14. The casserole was also quite tasty and, above all, very filling. It was topped with cheese and very creamy. I appreciated the strong garlic flavor, but otherwise, it was barely seasoned. I don't know, maybe a little more nutmeg or something similar would have improved it, but in the end, I still thought the casserole was good. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. At first glance, the Tick-Tack doesn't look like much, but the service and food were good. I'm satisfied.

I ate at this restaurant today and I'm absolutely thrilled! The pork schnitzel was cooked to perfection – crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the breading was seasoned just right. The porcini mushroom cream sauce was wonderfully creamy and a real flavor highlight. I was particularly impressed by the fried potatoes: golden brown, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. A truly excellent meal that I would order again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

Despite being closed on Mondays, they opened especially for our group. Even the arrangements beforehand went perfectly and smoothly. The food was not only plentiful but also exceptionally delicious. Leckere Küche, freundliches Personal

We celebrated our daughter's first day of school there with 15 guests and were completely satisfied. The food was delicious, all arrangements were kept, and the service was very friendly and prompt. The decor is a bit dated, of course, but that adds to the charm of the place, and everything is very cozy. We are super happy with our decision to celebrate there. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality!

Unfortunately, the restrooms weren't clean. Prices were steep.

Despite pre-booking and confirmation, a table was only available by chance. We waited forever to place our orders, and the first drinks arrived after an hour.

Today we went back to TickTack after a very long time (back then, the restaurant had a different name and was run by a different owner). We were very pleasantly surprised. The food was very tasty, but the portions weren't that big. The service was very friendly and attentive; we didn't have to wait long for our food. The ambiance is cozy.

I love going to this restaurant, especially in the summer on the terrace, because it's never too hot and there's always a gentle breeze. I love German cuisine and especially the food here. Seasonal dishes as well as the standard menu (German food, schnitzel, liver, roulade) but also the occasional unusual dish always tastes delicious. A timely restaurant with very, very good cuisine. The service is very courteous and the chef lives up to his calling. Whether roulade with red cabbage and potatoes or liver with apple/onion - mashed potatoes or schnitzel with fried potatoes and asparagus, it tastes incredibly good. I really like the restaurant, which is a bit bizarre with its many clocks, and in summer you can dine on the terrace and enjoy a cold beer. A walk in the southwest churchyard opposite can easily be combined with a stop at Tick Tack. All the best to the restaurant, please stay with us for a very long time.

We were there on Sunday around coffee time. The service seemed overwhelmed and was quite abrupt. We had to wait longer for the order to be placed, where it was then explained that she was alone. So far so good, it can happen, but unfortunately the tone with the other guests wasn't that appropriate either, is my feeling, but guests left again. You can make coffee and cake for a reasonable price and it's also delicious, but in my opinion the other dishes are very overpriced and also quite plain. Well, it's kind of a shame

We regularly come here with the family after visiting the cemetery, the selection of dishes is sufficient, the food is extremely tasty, the price is right, all the staff are friendly. What more could you want ;-) We don't want to miss the café.

Yes! Even the weather was great! Although there was only one server, they were super friendly and very competent. Everyone was very satisfied!

Funeral service with 45 people. Canapés, 2 soups to choose from, meatballs and cakes were pre-ordered. We were very satisfied. Very pleasant communication during planning. Everything went perfectly on the day of the funeral. The rooms, service and food and drinks provided the funeral service with exactly the right setting. I can recommend it without reservation.

The restaurant is getting old. Our table was covered with a dirty tablecloth. The service was not friendly and unfortunately very lazy. The drink was not served to the guest on the grounds that one would not continue walking around the table. The customer is not respected here. The menu was printed on several white sheets of paper with half of the items crossed out with a pen and the menu sheets were attached to a clipboard. The restaurant should get ZERO points!

A nice restaurant, thanks to the large forest cemetery there are often many big farewells. We also come every year, this establishment is now part of our grave routine, it's always nice to indulge in this peace and quiet on the terrace. The food is solid, the home-baked cake invites you to feast.

So we can't agree with the negative reviews. After a visit to the cemetery, we spontaneously stopped at Tick Tack to warm up on this windy autumn day. With the intention of ordering a piece of cake and coffee, we decided to look at the menu. I ordered the best goulash soup I have ever eaten and my husband ordered a game dish. Absolutely tender meat, perfectly seasoned - simply delicious. At the end there was a piece of pear and chocolate cake. Also very tasty. The extremely warm, friendly and courteous service (two gentlemen) rounded off our visit. Just great. You'll be happy to come back there. The ambience can be described as quaint. Everything is clean (including the (women's) toilet). There you can even find everything a woman needs in an emergency of any kind. A great restaurant/café that from the outside you wouldn't think it's that big of a deal.

We were here after an urn burial with 30 people. I was very shocked by the negative reviews beforehand. Based on my own experience, I cannot understand this. I received good and friendly advice in advance regarding the order. And everything corresponded exactly to our previously agreed wishes. The food was of good quality, good and everything was freshly prepared. The cake was very tasty. Coffee extremely good. The service was very courteous, quick and careful. I would like to thank you very much again.

We ate a little something and had a drink. The goulash soup was good, is €7.50 appropriate for the cup portion? Well, not really. But it tasted very good. We sat outside in the beer garden, 2 service staff served, disorganized for my taste, but nice and friendly, that counts more for me. Repetition? If I were nearby I would go again.

Beautifully located. A bit of color outside would help. The service is mediocre and you have to wait a long time even though it wasn't busy. Our drink (iced coffee) left a lot to be desired both in terms of preparation and taste.

We were there after a funeral with 50 people. We were given realistic advice in advance regarding the quantities. We ordered soup (vegetarian and meat of choice), sandwiches, fruit platters, cakes, coffee and cake. The soup was served, the rest was left on the tables. We were very satisfied. The fruit plates were great, but everything else was fresh and good. The ambience is ok, but that was secondary for us.

After a memorial service, the family met again at Tic Tack. The food was very good and plentiful but the ambience left a lot to be desired. A dirty tablecloth and dirty cups unfortunately diminished the good impression of the meal.

Wow. What can I say, I'm not usually a complainer. But the food was below standard, had gratinated noodles with chicken. The meat wasn't cooked through, the tomato sauce was very spicy and everything was kind of bland. I had to tell the waitress so that something like this wouldn't happen to the next guest. She accepted it in silence, no accommodation of the price or drink on the house or any regrets. After we weren't asked for another drink, we set off.

We sat outside. There was a lot of space. The drinks were good, but I didn't get my food as ordered. Lay perhaps. also on the language skills of the waitress. Otherwise, gladly again. Unfortunately it was too crowded inside.

We were guests here last Saturday after a relaxing and educational tour of the cemetery for a cappuccino and a delicious 😋 piece of cake 🍰 and were warmly welcomed. As always, there was a warm atmosphere and we were well served. When it comes to prices, one can only say that restaurateurs are also subject to tax and that inevitably has an impact on the prices.

Die Bedienung schien ziemlich überfordert, lange Wartezeiten und schlechter Service. Dennoch war das Essen lecker wenn auch die Portionenen sehr klein waren.

Es ist immer wieder ein schönes Erlebnis dort zu verweilen, nach einer Trauerfeier oder zu einer Weihnachtsfeier, Gemütlichkeit wie der Gast es sich wünscht.

Dieses Restaurant ist trauriger als der Friedhof gegenüber. Darüberhinaus war das Essen nicht besser. Pizzasauce als Tomaten Suppe serviert und auch lau warm ... es war auch mega teuer für die Personenanzahl die wir waren. Also bitte verschenkt nicht euer Geld in dieser Bude, ein bisschen umständlich aber woanders ist es aufjedenfall besser.

Ich bin nun schon einige Jahre vor und nach der Pandemie in dieses Restaurant gegangen und empfand die ersten Male wirklich als positiv, ein gemütliches Ambiente mit gutem Essen. Leider hat es mit den Jahren stark abgenommen. Die Qualität des Essens ist nicht mehr wie ich es kannte, die Geschäftsführerin im Service völlig überfordert und zu einigen Gästen super unfreundlich. Sie sollte vor allem den Service eher den beiden jüngeren Damen überlassen, ein gut gemeinter Tipp! Ich empfand den Spenden Tisch am Eingang zu Anfang als eine tolle Idee, mittlerweile artet das aber sehr aus, was ich nicht unbedingt in einem Restaurant passend finde.. Seit den letzten negativen Eindrücken meide ich dieses Restaurant nun... super super schade :-(

Altes uhriges Restaurant mit Charme. Essen war sehr lecker. Nun zum negativen. Wir mussten über 1 Stunde auf das Essen warten. Es wurde nicht informiert dass es so lange dauert. Wir waren mit einem Kleinkind da. Hätte man uns vorab Bescheid gesagt hätten wir nur ein Stück Apfelstrudel gegessen. Eine Entschuldigung gab es auch nicht,nicht mal bisschen Brot zur Überbrückung oder ein cafe oder Schnaps aufs Haus als Entschädigung. Das Personal wirkte bei einem halbvollem Lokal schon überfordert und arbeitete sehr langsam und wirkte verwirrt. Das war unser 1. Und letzter Besuch,leider.

Gute Atmosphäre! Zur Zeit ist an den Wochenenden dieser Verkaufsstand geöffnet. Es gibt eine Auswahl an Getränken und Speisen. Können in der Nähe mit dem nötigen Abstand konsumiert werden. Liegt genau gegenüber vom Haupteingang vom Südwestfriedhof, ehemalige Bahnhofskneipe. Neues Personal bei der Bedienung. Kann noch zu Verzögerungen kommen. Muss sich erst richtig einarbeiten.

Leber verbrannt, wurde zwar von der Bedienung storniert, dafür würde einem auf dem Parkplatz vom Koch und Chefin aufgelauert und sofort zu pöbrln angefangen. Ich war so perplex, das ich leider nicht die passenden Antworten parat hatte und überfahren wurde. Es wurden auch Drohungen gegen mich und meine Familie ausgesprochen, obwohl meine 97 jährige Großmutter und mein 3 jähriger Sohn dabei waren. Ein Stern ist noch zu viel und ich rate jedem der dort gut essen oder feiern gehen möchte dringendst von dieser Lokalität ab! Reines Glücksspiel, wie man an zahlreichen 1 Sterne Bewertungen sehen kann. Inhaberin ist in meinen Augen hochnäsig und geldgeil, Bedienung Verwandtschaft und uninteressiert, Inkompetent, Koch Choleriker mit maximal mittelmäßiger Fähigkeit zum gleichbleibenden zubereiten schmackhafter Mahlzeiten. Bei Kritik, konstruktiv, wird sofort angegriffen und dies auf unterstem Niveau. Meine Empfehlung! Meidet den Laden oder betreten auf eigenes Risiko. Unliebsame Rezensionen werden anscheinend von der Inhaberin ungerechtfertigt gemeldet um kritische Stimmen zu vermeiden.

Netter Service und schnelle Aufnahmen der Bestellung. Preis Leistung war wirklich angemessen. Es gab eine Season Karte mit Pfifferlinge und es war sehr sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Verstehe die Negativrezensionen nicht wirklich. Wir waren auch heute wieder gern im Tick Tack, diesmal draußen, sitzen aber auch gern drin. Das Personal war wie immer freundlich und neues Personal bedarf der Einarbeitung. Ein wenig warten sollte man manchmal also einplanen, schließlich ist es kein Schnellimbiss. Dafür war das Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln und Champions einfach lecker. Wer etwas Schickimicki sucht und Klobilder posten will, sollte jedoch besser fern bleiben, das ist für mich unterste Schublade und ich Frage mich manchmal, welche Sorte Mensch sich im Netz so präsentiert. Wir mögen die Urigkeit und das Bodenständige. Leider merkt man auch hier den Preisanstieg wie eben überall.

Die Betreiber kündigten den Osternbrunch (25,90 €/Person inkl. Filterkaffee) als hochwertig an. Angeboten wurden Speisen auf fettigem Geschirr mit fleckigem Besteck. Der Gastraum gleicht einem staubigen Trödelmarkt. Billige Marmelade, ein Müsli etc. Ich rate von einem Restaurantbesuch ab und lege der Betreiberin einen Besuch bei der Konkurrenz ans Herz, um dort zu schauen, was eine hochwertige Küche wirklich auszeichnet.

Kaffee, Tee, Apfelstrudel und Gulaschsuppe waren gut. Ambiente mit den ganz vielen Uhren, war witzig.Die Toiletten hätten sauberer sein können.

Der Besuch im Restaurant erfolgte nach einer Beerdigung. Da das Restaurant montags geschlossen hat, wurde es für die Trauerfeier geöffnet. Was wir alle als sehr angenehm fanden, da keine weiteren Gäste da waren und wir unter uns waren. Die Reservierung und Beratung im Vorfeld hat reibungslos geklappt. Auch vor Ort war alles dem Anlass entsprechend vorbereitet. Das Essen war frisch zubereitet und mundete allen. Service sehr freundlich und kompetent.

Bauernfrühstück und Tomatensuppe war lecker. Interessantes Ambiente.

Wir waren nach einer Beerdigung, wie so viele andere auch, dort um gemeinsam mit den Angehörigen zu trauern und wurden mit unfreundlichen Minen und pampigen Sprüchen begrüßt. Als das Essen verteilt wurde sollte es wohl unsere Aufgabe sein der Kellnerin die Schalen vom Tablett abzunehmen und zu verteilen. Noch dazu war das Essen nicht wirklich geschmackvoll. Als die Rechnung kam wurden uns allen Ernstes für 3 Kannen stink normalen Filterkaffee satte €105 (!!!!!!!) berechnet! Eine kleine Schale Suppe mit ein paar Häppchen inklusive Kuchen der nicht richtig durchgebacken war haben dann eine Restsumme von stolzen €500. Da dieses Restaurant direkt vor dem Eingang vom Südwest Friedhof liegt, hat sich die Inhaberin und Bedienung wohl schon lange keine Gedanken über einen Konkurrenzkampf gemacht und sieht es wohl nicht mehr ein sich zu bemühen. Sehr sehr schade! Vor allem da die Gäste eh schon emotional aufgewühlt sind, ist dass das letzte was man braucht! Fahrt lieber ein paar Minuten woanders hin bevor ihr dort teuer euer Geld lasst!

Habe nach einer Wanderung gestern dort gegessen. Das Ambiente ist so schrecklich das gordon ramsay einen Schlaganfall bekäme wenn er eintreten würde. Das Essen schmeckte okay. Ca eine halbe Stunde nachdem ich das Restaurant verließ bekam ich extreme Magenkrämpfe, musste meine Wanderung abbrechen und verbrachte den Rest des Tages mit Durchfall zuhause. Ich würde es niemandem empfehlen dort zu essen. Außerdem liefen durchgehend irgendwelche Schläger, der Kaffee schmeckte wie Wasser und es war alles in allem dreckig mit einem gewissen Hauch von garagenflohmarkt. Wobei ich bereits Flohmärkte besucht habe bei denen ich ohne Probleme und besser essen konnte

Gutes Hauseigenes Bier sollte man probiert haben. Gemütlich ideal nach einem Spaziergang. Auch unsere Trauerfeier war schön. Vegane Gerichte sind heute ein muss Bedienung freundlich gab nichts zu meckern.
