We have been to Tibits for lunch or brunch many times and have never been disappointed. Today with a friend who was here for the first time and could totally understand our crush. She was also thrilled.

Unfortunately I'm disappointed with the food. Previously had better taste directions. Yes, there is still a lot of choice, unfortunately not convincing. I am a nutritionist and chef myself. Therefore only 2 stars. Too much price for 0.386 kg of food.

It's very very very tasty since I'm vegan.. I'm very happy that something like this exists, unfortunately I think it's too expensive. It's vegan and organic but still expensive but recommended 🙏🏾🙏🏾👌🏾

Unfortunately there was no one at reception and I had to look for someone to take care of my reservation. When I made the reservation, I didn't get any feedback as to whether the two dogs were allowed, only that the reservation was accepted. The main course was okay (Brussels sprouts a bit too bitter and al dente). I had to wait a bit long at the weighing station and the drinks counter, which is a bit of a shame as the food can get cold. The dessert (sweets) were amazing!!!!!! Very tasty and perfect. In my opinion the price-performance ratio is okay. The dogs also immediately got something to drink. Overall the overall rating is good ;-)

The Valentine's Day special was anything but loving. The flat rate of €39 was excessive for the not really special meal compared to the “weighing principle”. Although freshly refilled at the buffet, some of it was already cold.

Some dishes were delicious and super tasty, while others were seasoned a bit boring. Overall it was a nice stay and we will definitely come back with vegetarians.

The food is really tasty, and even though I'm not a vegetarian, I found a lot of things here that I really enjoyed. Staff is also very friendly. Ambiance is ok, has a bit of a canteen feel to it. Unfortunately I have to say the prices are really very high. For a normal breakfast with drinks you can easily pay €30 per person. The food is good, but in my opinion it doesn't justify the price.

Positive: a large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, very nice atmosphere. Negative: quite high prices. Neutral: hardly any service, as it is self-service.

In general, the ambience as well as the service and the buffet were very good. However, I have now looked again at what exactly was listed in the confirmation. Unfortunately, I realized that we didn't get the probably delicious beetroot mandarin juice or the non-alcoholic secco or sparkling cava listed. I asked on site - the staff then informed me that only sparkling wine with alcohol and orange juice were included in the flat rate. I also read on the website that at the Jingle Brunch there will be readings for the children and there will be a surprise. Our children got a chocolate lollipop - if that was the surprise, we still didn't have a lecture. When I got there I thought I had saved it incorrectly in my head, but for a flat rate of EUR 39.00 per person everyone should be up to speed.

As always, a wonderful experience.

Super delicious buffet!! We are very big fans. Great dishes, the taste is completely convincing and the colorful selection anyway. The staff is also really friendly and personable. It is refilled super quickly when something comes to an end. 10/10

Going for a walk in the park after dinner, just a great experience.

A vegan restaurant in an interesting environment, integrated into the Alnatura headquarters. Afterwards you can take a walk around the Alnatura campus and discover all sorts of things. The buffet is rich and varied and everything is organic. Therefore a little more expensive, but the price is reasonable. Three different types of hummus for starters: it's all worth trying. Simply delicious!

Hello, we had brunch with you last Sunday. I found it a bit expensive, so only upper middle class people can eat here.... And, shakuka is not an Israeli dish! This is Arabic. At least from the Middle East....

There is a huge selection of vegan dishes - each one more delicious than the last - also great desserts - very friendly staff - even our dog is welcome - my absolute favorite restaurant at the moment ♥️

We were there just before Christmas. It was well attended, beautifully festively decorated, and a pleasant atmosphere. We were kindly invited to our table. The food was consistently of good quality and tasty. However, we wanted to have brunch for breakfast and in our opinion the selection is not suitable for that. Some small rolls and croissants, with jam and honey. Butter. Pieces of cheese. No cereal, 'regular' yogurt, hard-boiled eggs available. No vegetarian/vegan cold cuts either. Only coconut yoghurt and soy quark. Fruit salad. The selection of dishes is very suitable for a lunchtime brunch. However, we ended up paying 44 euros for a very small amount of food including drinks for breakfast for two.

We've been to Tibits several times and we've always enjoyed it. There is an indoor play area for children and a small outdoor sandpit. The employees are very courteous and the culinary offerings are very convincing. Special requests, for example for children, were always happy to be fulfilled.

Great selection of dishes. Tastes very good. Service was very nice and cleared away empty plates quickly. Only at the checkout it took a little longer, with the warm food on the plate and then waiting and weighing it, it was a bit annoying, a flat rate would have been more practical.

The food was extremely tasty and very creative. I would have liked the hot dishes to be a little warmer, by the time you get to your seat everything is only lukewarm at most. The price per 100g seems a bit expensive, but ultimately you don't pay much more than in a "normal" restaurant if you take a "normal" portion.

It would have been nice to have given a note when greeting us as to how it works. Unfortunately, after ordering drinks and weighing them, our food was almost cold. Finding salt only at the buffet didn't make the cold scrambled eggs any more delicious. The service otherwise was very friendly. The atmosphere is more like a cafeteria, not very comfortable. All in all okay.

Finally eating without having to pay attention to anything, thank you for such a great experience. (I eat vegan). Service staff super nice and helpful.

Great location. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right. The selection of dishes is good, nothing special in terms of taste. Constantly weighing the food is annoying and expensive (> €3 per 100 g). A walk on/around campus is recommended.

It was OK, but we had experienced better selection at the buffet. We found the music to be a bit too loud. Basic tip for the operators: waiting at the counter to have the food weighed allows the food to cool down and is not transparent because you don't find out the weight or price and are only surprised during the payment process. Idea: give an ID chip instead of a number card and everyone weighs their own food with a display of the weight and price.

Very diverse vegetarian buffet. You pay for your food after it has been weighed, so the price is per 100g. In my opinion, there were sometimes too few people (staff) there because someone was always needed to weigh the food. The taste is 80% extremely good. Nothing that I didn't like.

I visited this restaurant for brunch. The range and quality of the food was halfway acceptable, the price level was too high, the service was objective and structured, the furnishings were too sober and functional.; reminiscent of a canteen.

The ambience is very nice. It's poorly organized. You take a warmed up plate of hot food. Until you pay, everything is cold. It would be better if you place the drink order and then bring it to the table. Because you wait too long for the drinks at the checkout when paying. The breakfast offering is too little. There could be a larger selection of cheese and bread. For example, I would have liked spelled bread because of my wheat intolerance. Desserts without sugar could also be offered. It was very nice, a bit expensive but overall good

Very good vegetarian food. However, the prices are quite generous. Service is moderately friendly and moderately attentive. The ambience is somewhat sober. Nevertheless, we still enjoy coming here from time to time. It's a good change from our other food. The small campus park is also nicely done and good for strolling through.

Laid back atmosphere. Very attentive staff. Amazing food. There’s even a park to walk around! Appetite unconstrained, we spent €70 for two people… totally worth it!

I feel very comfortable there. Well-seasoned and diverse vegetarian menu. Buffet is constantly refilled. Very nice and bright atmosphere. Uncomplicated billing system. Extremely friendly staff. They are also helpful on the phone and even call you back. All I was missing was a salt shaker. But only for one dish out of what feels like about 20 dishes. Huge selection! A walk on the Alnatura campus is also recommended...

One of my favorite restaurants in Darmstadt. The food tastes great every time. There is always a great selection of different dishes. We like to have brunch here every now and then. Even our children (4 and 8) like it here. Yes, the prices are a bit higher, but you also get great quality. It's simply worth it. The decor and ambience is very nice. Especially the children's corner. The restaurant is made for families with children. The service employees are always nice, friendly and helpful. I can only warmly recommend the restaurant, we would love to come back.

Yummy. But if you want to get your fill here, you have to be prepared for prices at Swiss levels. Otherwise it's only enough for a few samples. In this respect, the store is well suited for people who want to lose weight healthily. The rosé was mediocre, I didn't try any other drinks.

Friendly welcome, restaurant with nice, cozy furnishings, a top selection of fresh food and drinks. The buffet is impressively set up. I'll definitely stop by again ;-)

Pleasant place in a green setting, relatively little choice but good quality and delicious dishes!

I am very positively surprised. I've heard a lot of good things about the restaurant before. But finally I was here myself for Sunday brunch. The staff is great, kind and accommodating! Everything was explained very nicely to us, as it can be a bit confusing on your first visit. The plates are weighed and charged at 100 g each, which can of course quickly add up to a lot of money. You should be aware that it's not exactly cheap here. However, there is incredibly good food here and everything is organic. No matter what we ate. Everything was very very tasty. There are pure, vegetarian and vegan dishes here, from breakfast rolls with scrambled eggs or vegan scrambled eggs, a vegan chicken curry to a chocolate brownie or raspberry tiramisu, all incredibly tasty and something for everyone. Some recipes are even available on the tibits homepage 😍 You can sit beautifully outside. The children can play in the sandpit and the dogs are even allowed to run free there. The atmosphere is somehow very relaxed and completely different than in the city, for example. You immediately feel at home here.

It is entirely understandable that organic dishes have a higher price than products from “simple” restaurants. Nevertheless, I keep the price at €3.80 per person. 100 gr. for excessive. If the various dishes had at least been well seasoned, because good organic spices cost more, one could perhaps understand the price-performance ratio better. Charging stations for electric cars are available, unfortunately without price displays and the staff cannot make any statements about the costs. Nevertheless, the staff is friendly. At least something positive if you have to help yourself to a buffet lunch compared to a 5* menu. I had expected much more from a restaurant from/near Alnatura.

It was a lovely children's birthday party with good service, delicious food and great children's fun: face painting and the magician Mr. Kunterbunt.

A special culinary experience of sustainability I have never experienced such a successful implementation of sustainable gastronomy as in the organic restaurant. As a green consultant for film and TV from Frankfurt, I was impressed by the dedication to sustainability as an overall concept. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are not only observed here, but actively lived. Each dish is an oral experience and shows how valuable and tasty good, regional food can be. The inviting atmosphere, embedded in a beautiful natural backdrop, contributes to the special experience. Especially the additional offer for children with a magician and face painting on the holiday made our family trip unforgettable. We will definitely come back and actively recommend this location. The organic restaurant impressively shows that sustainability and enjoyment can harmonize perfectly and offer real added value for people and the environment.

“Quality has its price”, everyone knows the sentence. “You have to be prepared to spend more money for organic products,” which is also something everyone is familiar with…. But in my opinion, the ratio in Tibits is unfortunately not right. On my plate today there were 6 small potatoes, a handful of green beans, some potato salad and a spoonful of scrambled eggs. This cost €26, without a drink… for lunch, mind you…. Yes, the quality of the products was good, but the taste of what was offered was not a high-flyer. Now you could argue to put something else on your plate. But the selection was so limited that it was almost impossible to combine what was on offer into a meal. The €4.50 mint hibiscus tea and €4.50 cappucino were on top of that. The dessert was just too expensive for me. My colleague had the same situation. I think a vegetarian restaurant is great and the basic idea is absolutely great. But on the one hand I wonder how someone who is on a low income is supposed to afford it and on the other hand Others don't understand where these astronomical prices come from. I get the products at Alnatura for a fraction of the restaurant price and can usually prepare them to a similar quality without much effort, at least that's the case with today's menu selection... I am aware that the cook, the employees etc. have to be paid, but ultimately the price/performance ratio is not right. Unfortunately, what remains after the visit is a lack of understanding. It doesn't help that the atmosphere was pleasant and the employees were consistently nice... Maybe we were just unlucky with the day or time (12:30 p.m.) we were there…. There are many pictures of a full buffet, in our case only half of the area was occupied by food. A new visit will probably be necessary to find out.

The layout and design of the rooms, including the garden next door, is worth seeing. The food and selection fantastic. Unfortunately, the beautifully presented margarine can be confused with cream cheese. Stupid because everything is weighed 🙃. For me, one point is deducted because the supposedly simplistic self-service concept is complicated and confusing. Someone else almost paid for our second course (wrong number). In addition, as a small person, I didn't even see the warm food upstairs. The lady in the wheelchair couldn't even pay because the counter was so high that you couldn't see the smaller ones. For the price I would expect table service. Quality is great. The language anyway😉

Price performance too expensive

Super delicious food, fresh and varied. There was also dessert - unfortunately, despite the buffet, you can't try everything 😉 The buffet system is great. Fresh things always come and you only pay for what you put on your plate. The two of us had 2 lunches, 2 large drinks and a dessert for a good 30 euros, and that for fresh, 1A organic quality. A subsequent tour of the wonderfully landscaped grounds is recommended.

There was a buffet and then you had to have your plate weighed at the checkout where you were standing in line, by then the food on your plate was cold and you had to lift the rolls because they were charged extra, totally annoying, they should come up with something.. ...the coffee drinks were sweet without being sweet...and unfortunately the food didn't taste fresh. It was far too expensive for the price/performance ratio.

There is always a buffet, everything organic. All very tasty. The food is weighed and payment is made based on weight. In the evening it is a little more expensive, the price per kilo is 39.00 euros. You can quickly get to over 30.00 euros, without drinks.

We ordered catering for the first time as a club. And we have to say - it doesn't get any better. Prepared with attention to detail, including decorations, labels, cutlery and with a lot of love. It was fantastically tasty and everyone loved it. Anytime again 😊

We were there for an Art Night. The drinks/wines are very expensive. The service was very friendly.

With a cozy interior and atmosphere, you can spend your time here well. Coffee and the brownie corners are highly recommended!

Tibits serves great vegetarian food. However, word has gotten around so that it is actually always too crowded. If you go for lunch during the week, you have to plan well. Otherwise you'll constantly be standing in line and every now and then you'll run out of individual dishes. We also went there for brunch. The selection is also delicious, but the concept of queuing at the checkout after every trip to the buffet is stupid. It's okay for lunch, but it's not suitable for brunch. Then it's better to announce a fixed price. It is expensive! The coffee is very good. The staff is totally friendly.

We give four stars for food and value for money. The food is mostly very good, but some main courses are a bit “boring”, some cakes are a bit dry or one dish is a bit expensive or heavy for the standard 100g price. In the last few weeks we have also been to other vegan restaurants where there was more al la carte for the same money per plate and at least the same quality, beautifully presented, hot and with service to the table. Somehow you expect slightly(!) cheaper prices from a self-service buffet. Unfortunately there was an event that evening with 85 participants who ALL went to the buffet at the same time when we wanted to and the buffet was “closed” for over an hour. Some of us dutifully stood in line for 20-30 minutes several times. And even though the kitchen tried to always refill something, when it was your turn, there was just something, but so was the desire for another round of queuing. Others of us, as “normal paying customers”, pushed ahead with the event participants with a somewhat guilty conscience. It would have been better if the restaurant had clear rules for everyone as to how this should work, be it an extra buffet, a “marking” or preferred queue for normal customers, or simply “closed society” or an appropriate discount for customers who have been waiting for such a long time give an extra. Overall, still three stars, in the hope that the criticism will be received and that it will be better organized at the next event. The service at the bar for drinks and billing was good & nice.

All dishes here are vegetarian or even vegan. You get the dishes from the buffet. You then pay for the tray at the checkout, where you can also order drinks.

Meine Frau liebt das Tibits. Warum, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Zwei Punkte gibts für das moderne Ambiente und für das nette Personal. Das Essen sieht einladend aus schmeckt aber nach nichts Besonderem. Man muss sich selbst bedienen, dann wartet man in der Schlange um das Essen wiegen zu lassen und zu bezahlt. Für eine mini Portion Reisgericht bezahlt man dann 10€. Um als Erwachsener satt zu werden müsste ich 4 davon essen. 40 € für ein Buffet Gericht ohne Getränke mit Schlange stehen bei jedem neuen Gang… das ist mir Das Ambiente nicht wert….

Wechselnde Gerichte, immer ein Geschmackserlebnis.

Mir war etwas Kalt vor Ort, obwohl der Raum voll war.
