Great restaurant with delicious food. What I really like is that you don't pay a flat rate of €0 for the buffet, but only pay for what you eat. It's based on weight. I think that's very fair. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit, as it's now closed. There will be a successor, so I'm curious to see if it stays this good.

You feel very well served and cared for. The 10 a.m. appointment was a disadvantage. It's simply too busy at the buffet, and then you have to go back to the counter to get drinks and pay for the loaded plates. The friendliness of the employees more than makes up for it. Hopefully, we'll find out soon where tibits will be after the Alnatura location closes.

Thank you for your commitment in Darmstadt. It's a shame that today is the last tibitstag. All the best I'm excited to see what happens next...

Wonderful as always. We will miss tibits very much. It was always a happy place, with guaranteed good service, friendly people, great vegetarian/vegan food, and a lovely atmosphere.

It's a shame that Tibits is closing. It was one of our absolute favorites in southern Hesse. But we had a wonderful time there—absolutely top-notch!

The atmosphere at tibits is always very nice. The architecture is modern and the space is spacious. There's always plenty of parking. Unfortunately, I find it very annoying that drinks can't be ordered at the table and are brought to your table. This often causes a queue at the scales, as drinks, especially hot drinks, are also made there. So, I often end up loading a plate from the buffet, which I have to take to be weighed. But now there are three people in front of me who also want a coffee. Then I end up standing in line for 10 minutes with my hot food, even though I just wanted to quickly weigh it. If drinks were brought to the tables, the weighing would be done in no time, and I could return to my family at my table. Too bad, tibits... The point deduction is for the process—not the staff. The tibits staff was always excellent! Thank you! 🙏

Yes, definitely, but it's not exactly cheap.

The food is good and the atmosphere is relatively peaceful despite the size of the room. Unfortunately, the rush on a Sunday morning was too great, and the staff, both in the waiting room and in the kitchen, were unable to cope. The tables were not cleared, so the plates piled up on the table and we had to figure out how to make room to continue eating. At first, there wasn't even anyone to show us our reserved table, let alone explain the rather unusual concept. The dishes were refilled only hesitantly, and some items were already completely sold out by 11:30 a.m., which we don't think is acceptable. We would only come back if these circumstances changed.

The terrace was reserved, but we were assigned a table inside. For 3 people over 75 euros is simply not appropriate for what you get (including a 7 year old child). The atmosphere on campus is simply very nice, but the price/performance ratio is simply not appropriate!

It was a dream again. We are shocked that the restaurant is closing. Can we somehow save it? What does Alnatura do? tIP TOP_The Tibits Brunch made me happy! The variety, the quality and the atmosphere are excellent. It's nice to have a meal in the light-flooded clay building. I think the weighing/payment system is very, very good. You choose more consciously and probably leave nothing left. It's better to fill plates more often! In the end, we ended up with a cheaper price than if we had paid a flat rate. And you also have a good feeling that nothing has to be thrown away. Great system, super tasty!

One of the special places in Darmstadt, an extremely nice service team, great dishes that you can't get everywhere! I say thank you very much for this with a tear in my eye, I very much regret the impending closure!

Bright rooms and good acoustics. Unfortunately, costs are not transparent due to the weighing of the food. Suggestion: QR code on the number card used for billing in order to be able to see the current amount or, better yet, the list of bookings including the amount.

We were there for an art night. Afterwards we ate dinner. I put together a plate with different things. It was really tasty, but I paid €16 for this plate (which is paid by weight). Afterwards I was by no means full, but I didn't want to pay another €16 either. So the taste was good, but a bit too expensive in my opinion.

Very nice staff, food ok but could be seasoned and presented more interestingly. The rooms are nice and the acoustics are good. Overall, however, it is far too expensive and “organic” is no longer anything special that would justify the price for me.

There were five of us, unfortunately no one liked it. Sitting on cube stools is also not very comfortable. I imagine something different for a cozy Easter brunch. The vegan selection is large, but unfortunately not tasty... pastries, for example, are not baked properly. Won't be coming back...

The layout and design of the rooms, including the garden next door, is worth seeing. The food and selection fantastic. Unfortunately, the beautifully presented margarine can be confused with cream cheese. Stupid because everything is weighed 🙃. For me, one point is deducted because the supposedly simplistic self-service concept is complicated and confusing. Someone else almost paid for our second course (wrong number). In addition, as a small person, I didn't even see the warm food upstairs. The lady in the wheelchair couldn't even pay because the counter was so high that you couldn't see the smaller ones. For the price I would expect table service. Quality is great. The language anyway😉

Very good, well thought out and creative buffet for lunch with a particularly good dessert. I recommend avoiding classics like tiramisu and trying strange desserts instead. Definitely a restaurant for cosmopolitan people, right down to the flavor palette.

With celiac disease, I'm always a bit worried at the buffet, but because each dish has its own portioner and everything is labeled, it went quite well. Food was super delicious!

Pleasant atmosphere and nice interior design, the restaurant is organized more like an employee casino in terms of operations. And when the weather is nice you can sit outside wonderfully. The food is vegetarian, but very good, so you don't miss meat. I would particularly like to emphasize the friendliness of the employees, which is definitely rare in the catering industry today, where there is a widespread shortage of skilled workers and it is therefore difficult to find committed employees. We like coming here. The prices are ambitious, but the food is worth it.

I'm really excited. The food was fantastic, beautifully presented, well seasoned and there was something for every taste. The entire restaurant is clean and tidy, even the buffet. The atmosphere was pleasant. Although there were a lot of guests there, it wasn't loud, it was easy to have a conversation, the interior was pleasantly light, but not bright, which made the atmosphere very cozy. I also have to praise the staff very much. Everyone was very friendly, polite and accommodating. I will definitely come back in the near future. It was really a very nice evening.

We have been to Tibits for lunch or brunch many times and have never been disappointed. Today with a friend who was here for the first time and could totally understand our crush. She was also thrilled.

Unfortunately I'm disappointed with the food. Previously had better taste directions. Yes, there is still a lot of choice, unfortunately not convincing. I am a nutritionist and chef myself. Therefore only 2 stars. Too much price for 0.386 kg of food.

Unfortunately there was no one at reception and I had to look for someone to take care of my reservation. When I made the reservation, I didn't get any feedback as to whether the two dogs were allowed, only that the reservation was accepted. The main course was okay (Brussels sprouts a bit too bitter and al dente). I had to wait a bit long at the weighing station and the drinks counter, which is a bit of a shame as the food can get cold. The dessert (sweets) were amazing!!!!!! Very tasty and perfect. In my opinion the price-performance ratio is okay. The dogs also immediately got something to drink. Overall the overall rating is good ;-)

The Valentine's Day special was anything but loving. The flat rate of €39 was excessive for the not really special meal compared to the “weighing principle”. Although freshly refilled at the buffet, some of it was already cold.

Some dishes were delicious and super tasty, while others were seasoned a bit boring. Overall it was a nice stay and we will definitely come back with vegetarians.

The food is really tasty, and even though I'm not a vegetarian, I found a lot of things here that I really enjoyed. Staff is also very friendly. Ambiance is ok, has a bit of a canteen feel to it. Unfortunately I have to say the prices are really very high. For a normal breakfast with drinks you can easily pay €30 per person. The food is good, but in my opinion it doesn't justify the price.

In general, the ambience as well as the service and the buffet were very good. However, I have now looked again at what exactly was listed in the confirmation. Unfortunately, I realized that we didn't get the probably delicious beetroot mandarin juice or the non-alcoholic secco or sparkling cava listed. I asked on site - the staff then informed me that only sparkling wine with alcohol and orange juice were included in the flat rate. I also read on the website that at the Jingle Brunch there will be readings for the children and there will be a surprise. Our children got a chocolate lollipop - if that was the surprise, we still didn't have a lecture. When I got there I thought I had saved it incorrectly in my head, but for a flat rate of EUR 39.00 per person everyone should be up to speed.

Positive: a large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, very nice atmosphere. Negative: quite high prices. Neutral: hardly any service, as it is self-service.

Going for a walk in the park after dinner, just a great experience.

A vegan restaurant in an interesting environment, integrated into the Alnatura headquarters. Afterwards you can take a walk around the Alnatura campus and discover all sorts of things. The buffet is rich and varied and everything is organic. Therefore a little more expensive, but the price is reasonable. Three different types of hummus for starters: it's all worth trying. Simply delicious!

Hello, we had brunch with you last Sunday. I found it a bit expensive, so only upper middle class people can eat here.... And, shakuka is not an Israeli dish! This is Arabic. At least from the Middle East....

We were there just before Christmas. It was well attended, beautifully festively decorated, and a pleasant atmosphere. We were kindly invited to our table. The food was consistently of good quality and tasty. However, we wanted to have brunch for breakfast and in our opinion the selection is not suitable for that. Some small rolls and croissants, with jam and honey. Butter. Pieces of cheese. No cereal, 'regular' yogurt, hard-boiled eggs available. No vegetarian/vegan cold cuts either. Only coconut yoghurt and soy quark. Fruit salad. The selection of dishes is very suitable for a lunchtime brunch. However, we ended up paying 44 euros for a very small amount of food including drinks for breakfast for two.

We've been to Tibits several times and we've always enjoyed it. There is an indoor play area for children and a small outdoor sandpit. The employees are very courteous and the culinary offerings are very convincing. Special requests, for example for children, were always happy to be fulfilled.

Great selection of dishes. Tastes very good. Service was very nice and cleared away empty plates quickly. Only at the checkout it took a little longer, with the warm food on the plate and then waiting and weighing it, it was a bit annoying, a flat rate would have been more practical.

It would have been nice to have given a note when greeting us as to how it works. Unfortunately, after ordering drinks and weighing them, our food was almost cold. Finding salt only at the buffet didn't make the cold scrambled eggs any more delicious. The service otherwise was very friendly. The atmosphere is more like a cafeteria, not very comfortable. All in all okay.

The food was extremely tasty and very creative. I would have liked the hot dishes to be a little warmer, by the time you get to your seat everything is only lukewarm at most. The price per 100g seems a bit expensive, but ultimately you don't pay much more than in a "normal" restaurant if you take a "normal" portion.

It was OK, but we had experienced better selection at the buffet. We found the music to be a bit too loud. Basic tip for the operators: waiting at the counter to have the food weighed allows the food to cool down and is not transparent because you don't find out the weight or price and are only surprised during the payment process. Idea: give an ID chip instead of a number card and everyone weighs their own food with a display of the weight and price.

Very diverse vegetarian buffet. You pay for your food after it has been weighed, so the price is per 100g. In my opinion, there were sometimes too few people (staff) there because someone was always needed to weigh the food. The taste is 80% extremely good. Nothing that I didn't like.

I visited this restaurant for brunch. The range and quality of the food was halfway acceptable, the price level was too high, the service was objective and structured, the furnishings were too sober and functional.; reminiscent of a canteen.
