Das Essen war absolut köstlich; man merkte, dass der Besitzer es mit viel Liebe zubereitet hatte. Besitzer und Personal waren zudem sehr freundlich; sie spielten sogar mit meinem neun Monate alten Baby und fütterten es mit Bananen. Ein sehr einladender und freundlicher Ort. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Dieses Restaurant kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen. Der Service ist hervorragend und die Gerichte sind ausgesprochen köstlich. Glauben Sie mir: Als Chinese weiß ich, was wirklich gut schmeckt.

Wir bestellten Krabbennudelsuppe und fermentierte Fischnudelsuppe (nach westlicher Art), und beide waren überraschend lecker. Die Nudeln ähnelten Reismehlnudeln und wurden in einer reichhaltigen Brühe gekocht, ganz anders als die faden Udon-Nudeln, die man anderswo bekommt. Zu jeder Schüssel Nudelsuppe gehörten drei oder vier Krabbenscheren; das Schälen war etwas mühsam, aber das Fleisch war sehr frisch, süß und schmackhaft. Auch die fermentierte Fischnudelsuppe enthielt Fischfrikadellen, gefüllte Bittermelone, Garnelen und Tintenfisch – alles war sehr frisch und köstlich. Die Besitzerin, Frau Thuy, war fröhlich und zuvorkommend, sodass wir uns wie zu Hause fühlten. 10/10 – von Vietnamesen verifiziert. Krabbennudelsuppe sehr zu empfehlen!

Authentisches vietnamesischen Essen findet man selten. Dieses Restaurant bietet genau das - die Preise sind angemessen. Der Geschmack ist super, es gibt sogar eine Tageskarte! Auch die Gerichteauswahl insgesamt ist vielfältig und nicht nur "Standard". Wir haben uns ein Stück wie im Vietnam-Urlaub gefühlt!

Zu 100% authentische vietnamesische Kost ohne viel Schnickschnack. Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service! Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt; so als säßen wir bei einem alten Bekannten im Wohn-/Eßzimmer. Klar sind einige Bereiche des Lokals in die Jahre gekommen, hier und da steht zu viel Ramsch, jedoch hat das irgendwie auch seinen Charme. Aufällig ist der große, stehende Buddha mitten im Lokal. Bestellt haben wir Mi Xao Ga, Bun Bo Hue und Banh Cuon. Wir fanden es sehr lecker. Die Preise sind passend Münchner Verhältnisse. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Kleines aber feines Restaurant mit leckeren, authentischen Gerichten und freundlicher Bedienung. Wir gehen immer wieder gerne hin.

Mir wurde absichtlich eine „Spezial Pho Bo“ für 16€ berechnet, obwohl ich ganz klar eine normale Pho bestellt habe. Zusätzlich finde ich es problematisch, dass hier offenbar mit Vorurteilen gearbeitet wird – bitte geht nicht einfach davon aus, dass alle Asiaten Chinesen sind. Das ist unangebracht und respektlos.

Alles war köstlich: Die spezielle Pho mit Rindfleisch enthielt Rindfleischbällchen und zartes, aromatisches Rindfleisch. Die Rindfleischnudelsuppe nach Hue-Art duftete herrlich nach Zitronengras und enthielt ebenfalls zartes Rindfleisch. In der Krabbennudelsuppe waren große Krabbenscheren (bereits geöffnet) enthalten. Das absolute Highlight: Saigon-Reis mit zarten Schweinerippchen und köstlicher, aromatischer Schweinehaut. Das thailändische Dessert bot eine große Auswahl an leckeren Geleesorten und hatte genau die richtige Süße. Die Besitzerin war supernett und sehr freundlich und angenehm im Gespräch. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, um das Restaurant zu unterstützen! 🫶🏻

Sooo gut, ich könnte heulen! Ich habe nach meinem Vietnamaufenthalt ewig nach einem authentischen vietnamesischen Ort gesucht… und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht… Es hat mich direkt in die Straßen zurückversetzt… ach, ich fand's einfach toll! Ich komme wieder!

Dieser Kellner scheint besonders freundlich zu Europäern zu sein. Man spürt einen Unterschied in der Art, wie er Asiaten behandelt. Ich war heute nicht dort. Ich war schon zweimal dort und mochte ihn beide Male nicht besonders. Ich bevorzuge immer noch den Service der alten Dame, die früher dort gearbeitet hat.

Das ist das beste vietnamesische Restaurant, das ich außerhalb Vietnams besucht habe. Wir sind nur drei Tage in München und waren gleich zweimal dort. Die Gerichte, die wir probiert haben (alle waren köstlich und herzhaft!): Gemischte Reiskuchen (Banh Bot Loc + Banh Cuon) Rindfleisch-Nudelsuppe nach Hue-Art Gegrillte Schweinefleisch-Nudelsuppe nach Hanoi-Art Schweineinnereienbrei mit frittierten Teigstangen Dessert: Cha Thai Und die Besitzerin ist so liebenswert!

After waiting for over an hour, we still hadn't received our food and finally had to leave the restaurant. No apology, no explanation – just a request not to write a bad review. I definitely won't be coming back.

I am happy that I have visited this place--suggestion of a Vietnamese colleague. The food is super tasty, it is significantly better than any other Vietnamese/Asian restaurant I have tried in Munich including some of the way pricier ones. It is a delightful spot in a city full of restaurants serving overpriced average food in fancy surroundings. I am looking forward to my next visit.

In general, I found the food taste okay, not outstanding. The broken rice was very full and fresh, although it didn't have much of a grilled rib smell, with lots of fried pork rinds. I asked for another bowl of soup and the staff was very enthusiastic in bringing more. There were also a lot of egg rolls and pork skin, so eating one portion was enough to make me full. As for the Hue beef noodle soup, I was a bit disappointed, the broth was a bit small, the special bowl didn't have blood or beef balls, and the raw vegetables weren't very diverse. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the food, but I would rate the service quality 5 stars.

The noodle soup without crab or shrimp still costs 19 euros per bowl. Each bowl is only half full, making it feel like you're eating at a fake omakase (a type of noodle soup). The beef noodle soup was ice cold; the bowl was hot, but the noodles were chilly. The prices are exorbitant, but the service and food don't match.

The restaurant is located on a small street and is often busy. They have a Vietnamese menu in Vietnamese, where you can find more unusual dishes. The rice porridge with offal is incredibly delicious, but the appetizer wasn't really my cup of tea. The service was friendly, but apart from the owner, no one speaks German very well. If you're looking for something unusual, this is definitely the place to go.

I went to this restaurant with friends last Saturday around 8 p.m., and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. We were seated at an outside table without any prior warning of the long wait. Only after ordering were we told it would be a very long time. We ended up waiting from 8:30 p.m. until almost 10 p.m. and had to ask ourselves, only to be told that our food hadn't even started yet. Meanwhile, the restaurant continued to serve guests who at least got something to eat inside. When we finally decided to leave, there was no apology—instead, we were asked not to write a bad review!!! This behavior is absolutely unacceptable to me.

The food doesn't taste good and isn't typically Vietnamese. They're even more expensive than any other Vietnamese restaurant I've eaten at. It's simply not worth it. And we had to wait until we were almost starving. The waitress there was unfriendly and didn't say a word to the customers. Disappointed.

We were introduced to Ms. Thuy's restaurant by a friend here. We came from Düsseldorf to stay in Munich for 3 days but ate at the restaurant twice, because the food was delicious, good quality, affordable, and most importantly, everyone at the restaurant was very enthusiastic and friendly. Ms. Thuy also let us park our car in her private parking lot. Her restaurant gets 10 points for no buts🥰

The food at Thuy Restaurant was okay for my taste, albeit a bit too salty. But everything else was a disappointment. The service was extremely poor: there were hardly any staff, and the owner seemed overwhelmed and slow. We had to wait a long time for our food, and when we asked for the bill several times, we were either ignored or simply forgotten. This made our wait even longer. The tablecloths were dirty, with food stains from previous guests. Cleaning them doesn't seem to be a priority here. There are also two menus: one for all guests and one for locals. My neighbor's table received both menus, even though they weren't locals. The owner may have only brought us the "regular" menu for everyone; we didn't get the locals' menu, even though we should have asked for it. Only later did a nice young lady bring the locals' menu, which relaxed things a bit. Overall, the food was okay, but the service, cleanliness, and organization left something to be desired. If you value a smooth, clean, and friendly restaurant experience, this is unfortunately not the place for you.

Cozy atmosphere with plenty of delicious Vietnamese specialties. The chao long and banh xeo were delicious. The wait was very short. Highly recommended. 👍

The beef noodles were very refreshing, and the rice noodles were smooth and chewy. It was the best pho I've had abroad. I highly recommend it to everyone. You won't get a bad rap no matter what you order (at least that's how it was for us, maybe we were lucky).

They have a special Vietnamese menu with dishes you don’t usually find in other Vietnamese restaurants in Munich.

Unfortunately, a disappointment. At first, the restaurant and the ambiance weren't very appealing. The good reviews and the many Asian guests made us go in anyway. Then, the older waitress rudely asked us why we didn't make a reservation on a Friday night. Arriving at the wobbly table, covered in hair and food stains from the previous diners, we were about to leave, but unfortunately, we stayed put. The young waitress, who couldn't communicate well enough in either German or English, then brought us a completely watery wine spritzer and a really good thuy cocktail. Unfortunately, this only filled half of the large wine glass... but at least it came with a plastic straw ❤️ The beef summer rolls and beef rice noodles are highly recommended. Unfortunately, the chicken cashew dish we ordered was completely without a cashew, or just something else with sweet and sour sauce?! Overall, though, it was quite okay.

THIS!!! Here you'll find the most authentic Vietnamese food in Munich! The atmosphere is rather down-to-earth, not as super chic and modern as many of the Vietnamese restaurants here... The prices are also absolutely reasonable, and you really get value for your money here. The service is great, and as I said, the food is simply WOW! :)

We were there for lunch, and even though there were only two other customers, we waited an hour for our food because delivery orders are processed first. It's difficult for people with jobs to take that long a lunch break. The food was okay, but not outstanding. The ambiance is a bit dated. We probably won't go there again.

This place is just WOOOWWW!! We left 10 minutes ago and I have to write a review right away. First of all, thank you for serving us so nicely just before 11:00 PM. The food was absolutely amazing, the peanut sauce was incredibly delicious! We haven't had such a good meal in a long time 😅 The waitress (I think it was the manager) was super nice and friendly! She stayed open extra late so we could eat in peace. We'll definitely be back! The portions are huge and super fresh and delicious!

Tastes just like in Vietnam, finally a restaurant that really cooks traditionally and doesn't, like most others, tailor the menu to suit German guests and the tastes of Europeans. There is really good food here!

Unfortunately I had a bad experience. After I was presented with a card that only listed the Vietnamese names, without any descriptions or pictures, the waitress asked me to simply explain what I wanted (rice noodle soup with chicken). The waitress said she knew what I meant, I had specifically asked for the price: €14.50. I was then brought a soup without noodles with some chicken. I then ordered noodles again (and then put the lukewarm noodles into the soup). At first they wanted to give me extra credit for the noodles. When I pointed out that I had ordered a noodle soup, the waitress accommodated me and didn't count the noodles. In short: the soup was way too expensive for the price, it wasn't tasty, and it didn't fill you up either :D So it's best to stick with the menu and not improvise!

Delicious and authentic Vietnamese cuisines. Pad Thai is also very nice. The food took 30 minutes to come at dinner time, a bit too long but still understandable with a full house of guests.

I've been there twice, once at lunchtime and once in the evening. In the evening the dishes and service were good, although not outstanding. At lunchtime we found the dishes boring in terms of taste and appearance, and the selection of vegetables was very limited - not to say minimalistic. Quite a shame for the price. The service was... well, present... to take the order, put the food down and clear it away and pay the bill. All in all, we think there is a lot of room for improvement.

I would say that it the best Vietnamese restaurant in Munich so more! The food is fresh and really authentic! They have some cuisine that we can not find in other restaurants! However, I think reservations is highly recommended! The space is small but really special for 90-2000 era of Vietnamese!

Might be my new favorite Vietnamese. The owner is very personable and knows her craft. If you have specific requests, you should call her the day before and tell her what you would like her to cook. Be sure to reserve here! The store is very busy.

Unfortunately, this was a bad experience. The food we had (Pad Thai and Chicken) was awful. Their homemade drinks weren’t good either. The service was alright but nothing special. They offered us free dessert which was thoughtful, but we refused. The atmosphere would have been average, if our chairs wouldn’t have been sat through and the tablecloth dirty. Seeing the other reviews, we were quite surprised that our experience was that bad. Therefore we can’t recommend this place.
