Thuy Golden Stäbchen in Füssen

I'm very surprised at the 4.5 stars. Especially considering the competition in Füssen. Since the other two Asian restaurants near the city center were already full, we ended up here. The atmosphere was 1/10; there's also an aquarium, and everything looks like it was collected together 20 years ago. The service was friendly. The menu offers a bit of everything, but none of the local cuisine is truly authentic. You can get Asian fast food here for reasonable prices and very large portions. The taste is okay. If you want to eat a lot for a reasonable price, this is the place. If you want to eat nice and authentic Asian food, probably not.

A great restaurant for Asian and Thai dishes. The food is delicious and the selection is fantastic. The portions are very generous, and there should be enough to satisfy everyone. The prices are reasonable and affordable. The service is very friendly and always helpful. Unfortunately, there is no parking. It's best to walk and park nearby, for example, on the outskirts of town. I highly recommend it 👍💯

We were here for the first time today and were absolutely thrilled! The food was incredibly delicious and the portions very generous. I particularly want to emphasize the friendly and attentive service – despite the restaurant being busy, everything came to our tables very quickly. We used the "Schemmerblock" (snack bar), which was readily accepted and friendly. The restaurant is somewhat tucked away on a side street, but it's definitely worth the trip. The value for money is absolutely excellent. We'd be happy to come back!

We found this little restaurant through the Schlemmerblock (a German word for "sweet treats"). It's very unassuming but incredibly delicious. The prices are very reasonable.

The Peking soup and spring rolls were incredibly delicious and reasonably priced! The drinks were also very reasonably priced. The fried noodles were delicious, but there are better options. The baked chicken, on the other hand, was a 10/10. We'll definitely be back next time 😍

Personally wouldn't recommend the food, I ordered the pad thai and never in my life have I seen pad thai this color it's almost cheesy and topped with fried onion.. maybe other dishes are tasty idk but I wouldn't come back. The staff was all nice though.

Remember to ask the waiter for the Chinese menu. The crispy duck rice is very delicious, and the Vietnamese pho portion is super large. It is delicious and cheap, and it relieves Asians' homesickness.

We dined here twice in the week we stayed! The staff were lovely and the food was delicious. It was also very reasonably priced with large portions. Standout dishes were the duck and chicken Thai curry and pad Thai.

Thuy Golden Chopsticks is a must for Asian cuisine lovers. After your meal, ask for Thuy's baked bananas with pineapple and vanilla ice cream. An absolute dream. And as a main course, Thuy's glass noodle soup

Taiwanese people come here to eat it, it’s delicious and cheap Although the taste is a little different than expected, it is delicious You can ask the boss for the Chinese menu to be paired with the German menu (only for the price) The duck meat is very good and the skin is fried. The food is freshly prepared and you can hear the sound of the high fire and the frying pan. We also have some chicken pho The bowl is big enough, with a lot of chicken. Two people will be full after eating one bowl. But you can only pay in cash, not by credit card~

We visited the restaurant on Tuesday evening and were immediately warmly welcomed. To start we had homemade vegetarian spring rolls which were incredibly tasty! We can only recommend them! For the main course we had fried noodles with duck and the vegetarian red curry. The portions are large and it is freshly prepared. I was a bit missing that certain something, fresh herbs or something similar. Nevertheless, it was very tasty and we can only recommend the restaurant! Bring cash, no card payment possible.

Since I often go to the Golden Stäbchen in Füssen for lunch, I would like to write something good here because the food, especially the vegetables, is always delicious and always freshly prepared. The price-performance ratio is also always right. I can highly recommend the Golden Stäbchen and wish the operators all the best!

I spontaneously stopped by for dinner with my girlfriend. The food was incredibly delicious and the portions were huge! We would have had dessert, but we were too full 😋 Warning! You can only pay with cash here. But if you have cash with you, the food here is worth every penny. I would go back anytime! 👍🏼

Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and okay atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food was not tasty at all and had nothing to do with authentic food. The Thai soups, Tom Yum and Tom Ka, were inedible. The fried noodles with chicken were dry and flavorless, etc. Perhaps there are other dishes that taste delicious and authentic, hence the good reviews? Unfortunately, our dishes only get 1-2 stars.

My husband and I took a walk around after arriving on the train and dropping off our bags. While wandering we smelled something amazing and we were led to this place tucked away in the corner. Some of THE BEST curry I’ve ever had. I had the chicken with coconut milk curry and my husband had their chicken in peanut sauce and we cleared out plates, wow 🤩 food wasn’t heavy and had a wonderful flavor on both dishes. We may end up back here before our trip is done! The woman that seated and served our food was very welcoming and friendly. She provided English and German language menu options. Heads up it is CASH ONLY

All good, food freshly made. You have to accept the ambience, it's probably also authentic. Better than any fancy micki shop where you have to wait too long for your food and it's not worth the money. Service! Cool guy.

Ordered beef pho and the shrimp curry. Curry a bit too thick, feel like could have used a bit less starch. Pho soup tastes a bit thin. Basically doesn’t taste like broth that’s been cooked for many hours. Beef is well done in the soup instead of half raw. I also expected lots of bean sprouts but there’s so few, I kept stirring the soup to look for one. The noodles were cut up into short strips, which isn’t something I am used to but doesn’t hurt the dish. Finally the lemon was squeezed into the soup already instead of giving me option to add it myself if I wanted to.

Best shop in Füssen, cool seating area outside and inside. They are all regular customers and have never been disappointed.

We are thrilled! Very tasty food at an unbeatable price. We love red Thai curry and always eat some when we get it. It was delicious here! :) The service is very friendly and responds to special requests. We were there twice and tried different dishes, all of which were excellent.

Perfectly seasoned food, not “monotonous” in taste like elsewhere, so really delicious! Very very large portions so it's really worth it, the prices are really good. The location and atmosphere are also very quiet but still central in the old town - highly recommended!

A good, well-made Asian restaurant. The portions are huge and filling, the choice of dishes (too?) vast. I recommend the dishes with sauces, which are quite original. Good quantity-price ratio, for those who are hungry but don't want something fancy.

We've now gotten take-away food there twice and have always been super satisfied so far. It was very tasty and was really quick. Even getting something to eat 10 minutes before work was no problem. We'll be back 😊

I went out of my way to find this joint due to a newly printed guidebook review & will NOT Be Back. For context, I've eaten my way across China & we have a large Asian population @ home including friends that we eat out with. I share this for context because this was the Very Worst Asian food I have Ever eaten! Tasteless peanut curry sauce. Greasy fried spring rolls. My noodles with pork and "vegetables" turned out to be greasy fried onions and spaghetti noodles. (I ordered by menu # to avoid confusion.) The only/best part of the meal was the fresh squeezed apple & cartoon juice. Save your money or spend it better at another tourist trap. As for me, just Ugh & Yuck! I wish I could get our 49€ back!

Surprisingly good. Also alot of people even though it's not on the main street. Cheap and delicious.

We didn't expect too much, but we were very impressed with food. We definitely didn't expect that a small town like Fussen would have a great Asian restaurant. Get the red curry with the coconut milk, that was delicious. They do have English menu, but it doesn't have any photos, they have Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese and other misc Asian foods, so you get a lot of options. The German menu has some photos, but use google maps photos if you need help ordering. The service was good, looks like they did delivery, there's a young gentlemen that was fluent in English, but the Aunties had no issues taking orders :)

A place that gave me a treat when I felt like I was going crazy because I was sick of schnitzel sausages while traveling in Germany. It's cheap and the portions are really generous. Delicious beer is also cheaper than anywhere else at 3.5 euros. If you tell me it's cheap, I'll leave it. I recommend it

I found this place good while I got stuck during a snowstorm in Füssen, and it was an amazing find. The food was tasty, and the portion was big, unless you're a big eater. The dining area and the toilet were clean. Service was quite fast but don't expect the staff to wait for you since they are very busy! I saw customers coming nonstop to dine in and takeaways, which validates the taste and quality of the food. I ordered shrimp fried rice and crispy duck with different sauces, and all of them were not disappointing at all.

Wir sind seit über zwanzig Jahren Gäste hier und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Die „Kinder“ lieben es immer noch. Das Ambiente, nun ja, ist noch etwas der vorherigen Kneipe geschuldet. Also zum „schick ausgehen“ würde ich eine andere Location wählen, zumal innen die Küche offen ist. Aber sonst bei jedem kleinsten Hungergefühl in Füssen, erster Anlaufpunkt!

Lecker und versteckter Thai mitten in Füssen. Wir hatten Pad Thai mit Kokosmilch und knusprigen Hühnchen mit Gemüse in Currysoße. Die Küche verleiht Thailandflair! Beides war sehr lecker, reichhaltig und preislich vollkommen fair. Das einzige Manko, die Apfelsaftschorle ist vom Discounter und schmeckt leider auch so, da gibt es bessere.

Tasty Thai food at a great price. We had a veggie/vegan meal and we enjoyed it a lot. The veggies in Thai curry were amazing. The service was fast
