Nice little bistro with tasty food and reasonable prices. Ambience leaves something to be desired, but is the character of the entire area. Friendly and quick service.

Excellent, good, cheap, fast, clean, cozy.

Small restaurant, recommended as a snack if you're in a hurry. Unfortunately the food wasn't that great, a lot of glutamate and unfortunately not as original as hoped. More like the usual at a Chinese snack bar.

I've read the good reviews here and I really can't understand them. Unfortunately, I didn't have a good feeling when I entered the restaurant. Unfortunately, that came true during the meal. 😭 The one in the photo is supposed to be a red curry.

We found this little treasure whilst looking for a place to eat, having just arrived in Berlin, after travelling over 750 miles, a long day!! Lovely food, waiter quite pleasant, only downside, is,the toilets could do with a makeover, they looked very dated. Also, didn't like that non customers, were coming in,just to use the toilet, and leaving again 😕. Anyway, thanks for a lovely meal! Vielen dank, das essen sehr lecker!

Reality check: This place is not good. 4,5 stars? I don't understand how that happened. The chef is definitely a nice guy, but the restaurant is run down and filthy. Kitchen is filthy, restaurant and toilet are filthy (!). The food was absolutely disgusting, and even though I only ate my rice and didn't eat much of my revolting nasi goreng, I was on the toilet 4 times before 12 o'clock the next day. Is this like a hipster looking for authenticity gone mad-situation? How is this place well liked? If you think the state of his kitchen is OK, I don't wanna see how your kitchen at home looks. He works the kitchen alone, and hadn't even started cooking our meals when I went to the toilet. When I get back 3 minutes later, all 4 meals are served. How is that possible? My nasi goreng was a slop and all the vegetables were slimy. I actually had to spit something out that wasn't from this world, it was like some see-through chewy goo. I don't expect this place would survive a health inspection. The whole restaurant stinks of grease: I had to wash my clothes and take a shower when I got back. There are nails sticking at from everywhere on the walls, and my jacket actually got stuck in one. If you think it is cheap, I think it is overpriced seeing as the food is inedible and you have to spend a big chunk of the next day on the toilet.

It always looks like the cute friendly guy is running the whole restaurant on his own… from cooking to service… crazy nice prices, food always fresh and delicious! U shouldn’t expect extraordinary dishes, but always fine and totally recommended!

Authentische vietnamesische Küche und zudem noch günstige Preise. Der Mann der den Laden schmeißt ist extrems sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen! :)

Kenne den Laden seit 10 Jahren. Das Preis-Leistungs- Verhältnis ist unschlagbar. Gebratene Nudeln sind 10 mal besser da als in den umliegenden Läden und dazu noch deutlich billiger. Von den selbstgemachten Frühlingrsrollen bin ich besonderer Fan. Der Laden ist mit seinem Besitzer, der den Laden ganz alleine führt eine Institut.Hoffe das er noch eine Weile uns erhalten bleibt.

Das Essen ist UNGLAUBLICH SUPER LECKER. Die Gebratenen Nudeln werden genauso zubereitet wie man es von damals kannte .. gefühlt ist alles lecker bei ihm ♡ nur an der Sauberkeit muss mehr geachtet werden, unsere Tische waren sehr sehr dreckig. Leider ist der alte Mann alleine und hat viel kundschaft, ich denke er schafft es nicht alleine alles instand zu halten. Dann nehme ich halt einfach mein eigenes Desinfektionsmittel und Tuch, dann der besteck und Teller sind wenigstens sauber .. aber dieses essen darf man sich echt nicht entgehen lassen. Zumal es auch sehr günstig ist.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung und die Suppe war auch sehr lecker. Gerne wieder, nur zu empfehlen.

Dream soup. If you’re in the market for a lunch that tickles the tastebuds, arrives quicker than Monday morning, and leaves you with ample change from ten Euros, this is the establishment for you. Whilst the decor might have acquired a patina from meals long forgotten, the service and food are more than adequate. The proprietor seems a charming man with a smile that could warm the heart of a dead goose. All in all, a pleasant dining experience and one which will be repeated in the near future. Also, toothpicks on the table — a touch of class that did not go unnoticed.

The prices are super cheap, but unfortunately the quality of the food was not. I had a soup and a curry and it tasted quite artificial and not very good. It’s a bummer, because the cook was really friendly, but I don’t think I want to eat here again.

The price is less because the quality is compromised to a greater extent. Everything is super sticky in this place from menu card to spoons to table. At the lunch hours the place was empty. I could not eat the food as the supe taste like oil. Please don't visit.

War vor einem Jahr schonmal da, die Preise sind wunderbar und das Essen ist sehr lecker, vor allem die gebratenen Nudeln. Die Portionen sind massiv. Der Koch ist fetzig spetzig und scheint die einzige Person im Laden zu sein, welcher sich übrigens toll entwickelt hat. Definitiv toller Service und gute Atmosphäre, also rein in die Olga und saftig knaftiges Trinkgeld da lassen ;)

I was a regular at this place. The son of the owner or whatever, (the young, and fat, toxic one) was physically threatening me for asking a few times how long more to wait kindly but impatiently, He was raising his voice inviting me out to fight. This happened when I asked how long more to wait after 45 minutes of wait and having biked 2km.. Finally they kicked me out and give me no food. Apparently food is not the only thing that's cheap here.. What else to say..

Preise super. Koch/Bedienung sehr freundlich. Ganz geiles, bodenständiges Ambiente. Geschmacklich leider nichts Herausragendes. Auch stehe ich nicht auf Gelatine in meinem Essen.

Very good Pho here. The Chicken is cooked quite perfectly. Soup broth is very flavorful too. Would come again for sure.

Für den Preis (6,5€ ein Hauptgericht) noch so gerade OK... Mehr aber auch nicht. Wenn es mal schnell gehen soll, oder der Geldbeutel nicht mehr so viel hergibt kann man das machen. Leider war das Gemüse nicht frisch und zum Teil aus der Dose. Champions aus der Konserve sind ein NoGo für mich

Da ich seit Jahrzehnten Stammkunde bin, kann man sich ja denken, das ich sehr zufrieden bin mit dem Essen, der Schnelligkeit und der Freundlichkeit.

Amazing, authentic cuisine at old school prices

Die Curries sind unterste Schublade. Die Suppen und Nudelgerichte kann man verkraften. Es gibt in X-kölln wahrlich zig bessere Vietnamesen. Ich trinke hier lediglich Ingwertee (Beutel von Teekanne). Der Koch/Chef/einzige Mitarbeiter ist allerdings anrührend und extrem sympathisch.

Sehr leckere Suppen und Hauptgerichte. Der Mann kocht mir Herz. Preis Leistung ist auch super .

Heute zum Mittach jabs mal ein grünes vegetarisches Curry und einmal gebratenen Reis mit Hühnchen. Es war nicht besonders schlecht aber auch nicht besonders gut. Portion war ausreichend. Bedienung war sehr nett. Wir, ständig in alles Bezirken Berlins unterwegs und relativ viel Erfahrungen mit „schnell mal Mittag machen“ ,haben unabhängig von einander drei * für passend empfunden. :)

The beauty of this man makes me cry. He is such a precious, kind, gentleman. His food is simply beautiful. He's not one to shy away from flavour and spice, and he will always serve it to your table, straight from the pans, with grace. I come here quite often for his no frills elegance, genuine food and to relax. Love it to bits. UPDATE : thought I’d add a photo of the groß Tom Kar I just had... delicious on this rainy Sunday. Also, tonite, it got a little bit busy, and still, he handles this with efficiency, like a gentleman and served always with a smile.

Ort wirkt etwas schmuddelig, aber das Essen wird immer frisch zubereitet, Portionen sind ausreichend, lecker und im Preis sehr günstig ☺

Une des meilleures expériences de ma vie, j'y suis retourné plusieurs fois et tous les plats sont savoureux, les prix sont incroyables (entre 4 et 7€ max pour une portion copieuse). Le cuisinier fait tout lui-même, prend les commandes, nous sert et il est vraiment adorable. Je recommande fortement!

Seit Jahrzehnten unser Asiate der Wahl. Immer freundlich und immer lecker. Die Preise sind für diese Gegend der Hammer, ein Besuch lohnt sich auf alle Fälle, trotz der etwas spärlichen Inneneinrichtung

Einfach lecker, günstig und satt! Zwar ein kleiner Laden aber alle die diese Küche lieben denen kann ich es nur Empfehlen!! 👍👍

One of my favourites. Cosy, authentic interior and atmosphere - no tacky modernisations here. One man show, with the sweet owner seamlessly cooking / serving from the open kitchen. He churns out delicious and cheap food made with love. A place you feel content supporting. / For the best value for money, get the reispfanne or nudelnpfanne (only €2.5 with just vegetables). A steal for a meal out!
