Theo's Taverna in Berlin

First of all, we arrived at the hotel and there's no check-in where we're staying. You have to go to another hotel, a 5-minute walk, and check in there, where you get the keys. The staff were very friendly, but unfortunately, they don't speak a word of German. As soon as you call and ask, "Do you speak German?" they say no and hang up, repeatedly. That's unacceptable. The rooms were great, but the parking is a complete disaster. It's several kilometers away to get a parking space assigned by the hotel brand, and it's not free either. It would be nice and helpful if the reception desk could be indicated in several languages ​​at the hotel where you're staying. That would have saved us a lot of headaches and searching. Still, knowing that, it's fine. The breakfast was always delicious and varied, so I give it 5 stars.

Thank you so much for the wonderful Valentine's Day we were able to spend here today. We ordered an appetizer and a grill for two people, were very satisfied with the food, and went home happy. The service was very attentive, and the price-performance ratio was absolutely perfect.

Very good Greek... When we visited Theos Taverna we had a great time every time. The staff are very nice and the food always came in a good time and tasted very tasty.. Also worth highlighting here are the good starters such as grilled pepperoni or garlic bread. The only flaw is the price for a water, I think it's a bit cheeky to pay around €7 for just under 0.75L.. It's also the case that you often get ouzo at a Greek restaurant in Germany.. There was only one to greet you.. In general, we have had a great time on every visit so far and can happily recommend it.

Was here for the 2nd time today. Enjoyed very tasty crispy gyros and fresh tzatziki in a very cozy atmosphere. Welcome and farewell ouzo included in the price. We'd love to come back! Price performance is right!

I'm a regular here. The rating doesn't come from the fact that I've become part of the "family" over time, but rather because every guest here, regardless of whether it's the first time or the 100th time, is treated exactly the same. At Theo we always make sure that everyone feels comfortable. I've been going here at least once a week for years. I know the menu by heart, but I still look forward to the good food every evening, which is prepared with a lot of love in the kitchen. It is also very commendable to mention the quality of the food. The boss herself is in the kitchen, but is still with the guests and stops by regularly just to hear how it tastes. The great service staff do the rest, a friendly greeting, an attentive look around and always in a good mood. It doesn’t matter whether there are 50 or 5 guests sitting here. If you need something, you will be helped. I would like to recommend that everyone just come to Theo and enjoy an evening in a great atmosphere and great people. For me, my favorite Greek in ALL OF BERLIN. Yamas!

Unfortunately it wasn't good at all - the food and cocktails weren't tasty - we had to leave the cocktails behind - so inedible. 3 out of 4 people also had to deal with stomach problems afterwards. Too bad!

This restaurant is an absolute failure. My chicken was still raw inside. There was no apology, nothing. No attempts were made or asked if we would like something more to drink. When there was no real tip due to dissatisfaction, we were left sitting after paying without saying goodbye or a word. This place has nothing to do with a restaurant.

The food wasn't appetizing, you could have done it much better at home, I can't understand the good reviews, the bread was so dry and hard, definitely from the day before. In addition, the food was raw and really not appetizing. I'll never go to this restaurant again for the money. I expect a delicious Greek meal like you're used to. The service was okay until the end when there was no tip, we didn't even say goodbye or ask if everything was okay. NOT RECOMMENDABLE!!!!!

I had dinner here in a small group. The food itself was good! The climate on the terrace is also “actually” nice. It's nice that there are vegetarian dishes. Not really filling though. I was the only one who ordered something vegetarian. What no one knew was that you get a small salad as a starter. Unless you order something vegetarian. Really not nice to be the only one sitting at the table without a starter. The service also left a lot to be desired. Very impatient, not really polite and sometimes no response to questions. At the end I ordered a “Pina Colada”. Which neither looked nor tasted like it. It was just a pineapple-water-alcohol mess. When I pointed out that this was in no way equivalent to a Pins Colada, the manager came over. He arrived with a pre-mixed bottle. There was also nothing on it that indicated a good cocktail. This one discussed forever. Apart from the fact that such a “cocktail” is sold for €8. He discussed and discussed... Then he just left mid-sentence. I wasn't offered anything else. Sure, this isn't a bar. But as we all know, the sound makes the music. The straws appear to have been cut off, so be careful when drinking. I won't come back...

Sitting on the terrace in the countryside when the weather is good is an argument. Staff impatient and not hospitable. My food was tasteless, my friends' food was good. Bread for the broccoli casserole had to be requested. A sliced ​​piece of bread was brought that had been lying open since at least the day before and, to be honest, looked like the rest of previous guests. We also had to ask for sugar with the cappuccino. The sugar shaker didn't look hygienic. The drinks were okay. The prices are awesome. To compensate, I had two wonderful people at the table with whom I also enjoyed being together during this restaurant. But to be honest, the store had no part in that. I wouldn't go there again of my own free will.

Had dinner here with my girlfriend today. The pork fillet with metaxer sauce as well as garlic potatoes and salad was very tasty 😍🍽 but we didn't like the semi-dry red wine 🍷 🙁. It's very sour, but it's cozy, the ladies' room is even lined with toiletries - crazy. For example; Hairspray, hand cream, lint roller, etc. 😃 very attentive. All in all it was very nice with them

I had ordered a grill plate that contained three different meat dishes and after just a few minutes I received my drink and a vegetable salad and once I had it open it only took a moment and the main course arrived. I'm someone who likes to eat a little more and the size of the portion there was completely in line with my taste. With a drink and an additional sauce, I ended up with 29 €, which is the status as of March 2024. In any case, it was very delicious and it was fun to eat Greek

Since Greek is usually very meat-heavy, I don't like going there. Here I was actually very positively surprised by the larger selection for me. It tasted very good and getting a table without a reservation at Christmas time was probably a bit of luck. A seemingly small family business that puts in a lot of effort. Small disadvantage afterwards: hair and clothes smelled completely like food and had to be washed. I assume the air mixes extremely due to the steaming food

Der Empfang durch die Mitarbeiter war sehr nett und das Ambiente einladend. Das Essen (Vorspeise- knoblauchbrot und Hauptspeise- Aristotelisteller) war ok. Für mich eher Standard und nicht außergewöhnlich. Was mich wirklich geärgert hat, Bezahlung bei Karte NUR EC-Karte. Debit oder Visa wird nicht akzeptiert. Weltweit kann man mit diesen Karten zahlen nur in der Hauptstadt Deutschlands scheint das ein Problem zu sein. Für mich ein Grund das Restaurant nicht erneut zu besuchen.

Das Essen ist ok oder besser gesagt mann kann essen aber teuer.

Essen viel zu teuer, zu kleine Portionen und auch nicht zu empfehlen. Service ist gelangweilt wie genervt, aber was unfassbar ist, man wird genötigt das Restaurant zu verlassen mit den Worten, dass sie nach Hause wollen, obwohl die Öffnungszeit noch 50 Minuten anzeigte. Wir wurden offiziell um 21:10 Uhr angesprochen das Restaurant zu verlassen, obwohl es bis 22 Uhr geöffnet hat. Insgesamt war das Restaurant kaum besucht, was mich nicht wundert, obwohl es sich mitten im Wohngebiet befindet. Wir kommen garantiert nicht wieder. Das Restaurant hat mehrere potentielle Gäste verloren, weil wir uns teure Gerichte ausgesucht haben, die eh bereits viel zu teuer angeboten werden, was fast schon eine Frechheit ist.

Ich kann nichts negatives finden. War alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit.

Essen wie bei Griechen so ist lecker. Bedienung etwas unfreundlich , auf Nachfragen gestresst reagiert, aber vielleicht hatte schlechten Tag. Das Essen kam schnell, Ambiente sehr gut..

Wir waren zu dritt zum Abendessen. Sowohl die typisch griechischen Fleischteller als auch der vegetarische Auflauf können sich sehen lassen. Service war nicht übertrieben freundlich und machte einen kompetenten Eindruck. Gerne wieder.

Theos' ist ein Geheimtipp in Hohenschönhausen im Warnitzer Bogen. Das Restaurant ist gut öffentlich angebunden. Das Essen ist prima, ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und ein sehr guter Service. Fazit: hingehen

Theos Taverne bietet leckeres griechisches Essen an und enttäuscht dabei nicht. Seit jeher sehr lecker und sehr freundlich. Man kann innen wie außen essen. Trotz Plattenbauten, ein kleines Idyll. Guten Appetit! 🙂

Essen, Trinken und Service wie seit Jahren immer Top schon am Mühlengrund war die Gaststätte prima Ich habe jetzt meinen 70 Geburtstag gefeiert.

Sehr lecker und sehr freundliches Personal. Terrasse im Grünen kann sich sehen lassen und ist sehr gemütlich.

Wir waren ab und an mal dort, als sie noch im Mühlengrund waren. Jetzt in der neuen Lokalität hatten wir den Weg noch nicht gefunden. Ich muss sagen, es ist auch nicht schlimm. Wir saßen draußen, dass kann sehr entspannt sein. Das Essen war in Ordnung, doch ich hätte eher mehrere Vorspeisen nehmen sollen. Denn mein Biftiki war nicht so gut wie erhofft. Der Service war sehr freundlich und die Preise in Ordnung.

Da wir hier des öfteren essen gehen, waren wir diesmal enttäuscht. Die Kellner waren nur am Anfang aufmerksam, danach musste man immer mehrmals auf sich aufmerksam machen. Auch das die Bedienung am Nebentisch geraucht haben und das nicht wenig, macht keinen guten Eindruck. Dafür könnten sie auch zum Hintereingang gehen. Das sollte geändert werden. Das Essen war wieder gut und wurde auch schnell gebracht.

Nachdem der Mühlengrund abgerissen wurde, konnte am 22.03.2019 endlich Theo's Taverna im Warnitzer Bogen neu eröffnen. Wir waren dabei! Wir wünschen Dona und Theo und dem ganzen Team viel Erfolg. Ich bin davon überzeugt, dass dies kein Problem sein wird, denn die Beiden haben im neuen Restaurant ein tolles Ambiente geschaffen. Das Essen hat, wie schon im Rotkamp eine tolle Qualität. Und es schmeckt super!!!! Wir kommen gern wieder in dieses gastliche Haus zu Freunden.

Heute mal wieder zum Griechen, eigentlich meist lecker aber heute garnicht gut. Ich hatte den Parthenon Teller. Das Lammfleisch konnte man leider nicht essen da es sehr angebrannt schmeckte. Als ich dem Kellner das sagte ,damit kein anderen das gleiche passiert , wurden die Teller abgeräumt und nix passierte weiter. Volle Rechnung bezahlt . Kein bisschen entgegenkommen. Schlecht.

Diese Taverne liegt direkt am Hafen von Kadameira und wurde in unserem Reiseführer erwähnt, deshalb wollten wir dort zu Mittag essen. Dort essen tatsächlich einige Einheimische und das aus gutem Grund. Den Fisch gibt es tagesfrisch, diesen kann man sich vorher aussuchen. Ich bin normalerweise kein Freund von Fritten aber diese waren frisch aus Kartoffeln geschnitten. Die Einrichtung ist urig und der Hausherr freundlich-zugewandt. Die Dame des Hauses spricht etwas Deutsch. Es war ein schöner Besuch, vielen Dank!

Das Restaurant kann von uns nicht empfohlen werden. Essen und Getränke einfach und entsprechen nicht der sonst von uns gewohnten griechischen Küche.

Die Preise sind in Anbetracht der Lage und der Qualität der Speisen ein bisschen zu teuer.

Ich war das erste Mal in Theo's Taverna. Das Ambiente hat mir direkt gefallen, es war sauber und auch den Pflanzen ging es gut. Der Service war super, sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen kam schnell und hat mir auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Brot mit Tzatziki als Vorspeise war richtig gut für mich. Ich werde wieder kommen.

Leckeres Essen und gute Cocktails , welche man bei schönen Wetter auch auf der Terrasse genießen kann.

Theos Taverne liegt mitten im Herzen von Hohenschönhausen, gelegen an einem kleinen Park im Warnitzer Bogen. Das Klima ist trotz der Größe sehr familiär und renovierte Terrasse lädt dann wenn es die Temperaturen zulassen einmal mehr ein hier einzukehren. Aber auch im Winter ist es drinnen sehr schön und es finden öfters mal Veranstaltungen statt die ich jedoch leider noch nicht besuchen konnte

Der Gyros hat sehr lecker geschmeckt, freundliche und schnelle Bedienung.

Nettes Lokal mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Die Preise sind auch top. Kann man ruhigen Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Im Sommer mit Aussenbereich. Normale griechische Karte auf den deutschen Geschmack gebracht. Nettes Personal. Große Vorspeisen Auswahl.

Wir waren hier spontan, weil zu Besuch in der Nähe. Das Restaurant war fast leer. Die Kellner waren zurückhaltend freundlich. Das Essen war "okay" aber für den Preis leider nicht gerechtfertigt. Da wir einen Tag vorher beim Griechen in Basdorf (Wandlitz) waren, hatten wir einen direkten Vergleich.

Wir - die ganze Familie - sind von Anfang an sehr begeistert von der netten Bedienung, aber auch der tollen Atmosphäre. Dass man nicht immer einen Fensterplatz bekommen kann, ist wohl selbstverständlich. Das Essen ist sehr gut und auch persönliche Wünsche werden immer erfüllt, egal um was es sich handelt.
