I recently ate at Spicy Bazaar – and what can I say? It was an all-around fantastic experience! The ambiance is modern, cozy, and full of thoughtful details that immediately make you feel at home. But what really made the evening special was the excellent service. A huge thank you goes to Franko, who looked after me during my visit. He was not only extremely friendly and attentive, but also truly passionate about his work. Franko made sure I wanted for nothing, was always there at the right time, and his warm manner perfectly rounded off the evening. You can immediately tell that the well-being of his guests is truly important to him. The meal was – as the name suggests – a delicious journey through the world of spices: sophisticated, aromatic, and beautifully presented. I will definitely be back and highly recommend Spicy Bazaar to anyone who wants to experience great food and top-notch service. Thank you, Franko – you're fantastic!

The food is quite expensive. The place is crowded. I recommend making a reservation in advance.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Spice Bazaar and were extremely satisfied. The food was excellent, and the wine list offered a wide selection at reasonable prices. I would especially like to mention the truly friendly and competent service. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would gladly return.

We waited for so long to get some simple drinks. Asked for bread and came soooo late. After we order drinks and worst drinks ever. Cocktails were like mocktails. We had starters. Finished them and nobody came to ask for main course. We waited for sooooooo long. We decided to leave. Bad management. All we saw it was managers running around putting some lights around. Such a shame. But definitely bad drinks and bad service.

A wonderful place to share delicious food with a group and spend a pleasant evening. The dishes are inviting to try. The fattoush was aromatic and we enjoyed it very much. The staff is very friendly and professional!

My first visit to Spice Bazar will definitely be my only one. I find it unacceptable that a restaurant—which, after all, speaks of a "modern interpretation of the Orient" and sees itself at a "crossroads of cultures and traditions"—prominently and out of context places clearly racist depictions of the "Sarotti Moor" in the entrance area, depictions from which Sarotti himself distanced himself 20 years ago for obvious reasons.

An upscale Mediterranean restaurant with reasonable prices. We were very satisfied with the appetizers, which were imaginative and tasted really good, but not with the main courses: While everything is organic, the ribs were unfortunately mostly fatty, and the chicken skewers prompted a serious bathroom visit. Even assuming these were slip-ups, I can't give it more than 3 stars. 🌟 🌟 🌟 There's comfortable seating both inside and outside.

Food and service were very good, unfortunately the outside lighting was not seating, currently a construction site in front of the door, inside it was a bit warm, but the weather was also correspondingly hot, wine recommendation was good

Perfect location: The food is varied, interesting, and delicious. Seating is pleasant both inside and outside, and the service is excellent. There are always exciting cocktails to discover when it comes to drinks, too.

The service, food, and ambiance here are truly outstanding. I've rarely experienced such friendly and competent service as here. It's also great to sit outside. Large umbrellas provide plenty of shade. Sunbathing is also available. I would come back anytime.

I didn't particularly like the food: The shrimp ceviche was served with limp, flavorless tomatoes and a large amount of sauce—more like a soup. The baked eggplant appetizer turned out to be a mousse. After waiting 30 minutes for the bill, I told the server that we had waited a very long time. He replied that they had a lot of customers and we should try another restaurant next time. We will.

The food was very good but the portions are quite small. Special plus for the cauliflower and juicy meatballs, small minus for the octopus (too small of a portion) Markus our waiter was awesome, great service and good fun! Thank you for the experience 🙂

The food is good, the service is clearly not the best, manners must be taken care of, especially when there is no reason to respond in an unpleasant way.

Waitress got annoyed at us for some reason and stopped coming to our table making it an ordeal to pay and get out of there. Before that the service was slow but friendly.

For me, Spice Bazaar is one of the few restaurants where you really experience that “wow” factor. The food is not only really good, but also exciting - it's worth trying out something unusual here. The dishes are creative, with intense flavors and well presented. Inside, the restaurant is elegantly and stylishly furnished without appearing pretentious. It's definitely fine dining, but every cent is well spent. No fancy, no chic - here you meet people who just want really good food. Absolute recommendation for connoisseurs!

We have visited this restaurant several times in the past and originally liked coming here because of the quality of the food and the pleasant ambience. Unfortunately, our impression has changed significantly recently. The service is repeatedly disappointing: long waiting times, little attention and an overall unfriendly tone. What was particularly irritating was an employee's statement that regular guests weren't important because they had enough customers anyway. This attitude leaves a very negative impression - one would expect a restaurant that appears to be successful to value loyal guests and respond to feedback. It's a shame that the good impression of the kitchen is overshadowed by the lack of service. We will probably take a different approach in the future.

The taste is great and the service is great too. Unfortunately the food is extremely overpriced. The meat skewer pictured cost €29.50. Sorry, but that's just too much. You even have to pay extra for the bread with the hummus.

So: I already gave a 5-star review about a year ago. I have to revise this based on my current experiences. Furthermore, I am of the opinion that the food in this restaurant is absolutely excellent. However, I am shocked by my experience with the service today! We reserved a table for four people weeks ago. Several weeks later it turned out that four more people wanted to come along. Due to the often high occupancy of the restaurant, we didn't want to risk canceling our existing reservation for 4 and instead made another reservation for four people in the hope (and, given the high quality of the restaurant, expectation!!!) that we could then push two tables next to each other together or something similar. But when we arrived today we were told that the tables were in other places in the restaurant. We then asked in a solution-oriented manner how the eight of us could somehow sit together. The waitress then told us harshly that she “knew these tricks” (which tricks please??) and that we wouldn’t be able to share a table. We then pointed out that there were still several reserved tables for four next to each other available and politely asked if it would be possible to swap the reservations so that we could sit together. The waitress rejected this harshly. We asked in consternation whether it was really the restaurant's interest to send regular guests out the door. The waitress replied: “Yes, we have enough reservations and can do without them”. I would like to make it clear that I have never experienced such treatment in a high-class restaurant and I really see the incidents as an outrage. Our entire group is very upset.

The ambience and service are really top. The food too, relatively speaking. It's just really extremely overpriced. I had chicken skewers, 4 of which arrived with a little sauce... for €32. So you would have expected more. But starters are filling. You don't necessarily have to take main courses. Overall therefore 3 stars.

The Spice Bazar in Munich sounds like a journey into a world full of aromas, spices and exotic taste experiences. In reality, unfortunately, you end up with “pretty okay”, but at prices where you would have expected a little more than just “okay”. The food was lukewarm, the octopus and shrimp were overcooked and all tenderness was lost. In terms of taste? Solid middle class. You'll be full, but it'll be a firework display for the senses. stays out. Food looked great 👍🏼

There were 10 of us, we ate and drank well and of course tipped well. We wanted one last drink (12:00 a.m.) and they said the bar was now closed. We would have been informed. We weren't and the manager had to admit it in the end. But instead of him saying, I'm sorry and here you have your last drink, he sends his employee forward just to apologize to us. We all found that cheap, narrow-minded and shabby.

I had dinner with old friends. This place was introduced as Middle Eastern tapas, but the size of the food was too huge to be called tapas. We ordered two menu items per person, but there were so many that we couldn't eat them all. The food was generally healthy and the variety of cocktails was especially good. The staff's service was warm, friendly and quick. I liked the atmosphere because it was quite hip but not cluttered. It's a great place to have a drink with lovers or friends.

It’s my second time I visited this restaurant. The menu changed a bit as I recognized that the crispy beef menu was gone 🥲. Nonetheless the food and the service were great! Especially recommending the bazaar surf & turf as well as the fries! The corn bread dessert was unexpectedly delicious and creative! Please try it!!💛

Unfortunately, I can't share the enthusiasm when it comes to cooking today. Everything was beautifully presented and fresh but unfortunately the taste was disastrous. Beluga lentils, fatoush, even the hummus - all incredibly sour. What was probably supposed to provide freshness was completely exaggerated here and shouldn't really happen at this level. Too bad.

We visited The Spice Bazaar with our local friend and had a wonderful experience. The place is spacious, clean, and has a welcoming atmosphere. We noticed many people dining with their colleagues and families, making it a great spot for any occasion. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly, adding to the overall great experience. The vegetarian dishes were especially delicious—I particularly loved the fried tofu dish and beetroot tartar but the meat dishes were soso. Best service, best food, cool location

Service was good and quick. Food is good. But the prices are quite overpriced. Probably due to the location. Given the prices, I would expect better sanitary facilities!

For groups of 7 or more you can only order a menu (cheap menu price without drinks €63/person). 😂 After confirming for 8 people, they emailed me and asked what kind of menu we wanted. Because I didn't respond, my reservation was canceled. After consultation, they forced me to choose a menu again (price 73€/person). I responded by email because I couldn't select the menu for my colleagues in advance. I wonder why we couldn't order something from the menu like in a regular restaurant? They called me several times and since I was at work and couldn't answer the phone, they emailed me because if I can't choose a menu within 2 hours, my reservation will be canceled again. With a deadline of 4:00 p.m. on dinner days. We ended up going to another restaurant because everything was too complicated and stressful for me. They also told me on the phone that I was the complicated one. This is very disgraceful. Bad experience, so unfortunately I can't recommend the restaurant for 7 people or more.

The food is really delicious, the atmosphere is fantastic. But unfortunately I have to deduct a star because the service does not meet the restaurant's requirements. We had to wait forever for the aperitif and despite ordering otherwise, dessert came first and a good 10 minutes later the espresso (then without sugar, for which we unfortunately had to wait again).

The “spice” in the title refers to the variety of spices used (and not spiciness). The food is particularly suitable for sharing and trying out, it's a pleasure!

It was really the right choice for a celebration dinner. When you enter the door, you are greeted by the sweet scent of spices and a decent atmosphere. Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine, modern cooking techniques and delicious fresh spices and fruits that the chef uses wonderfully. Sufficient beverage varieties for the menu. Wines of organic origin. And delicious cocktails. Portions are large so one should make the right choices when ordering food. Because you will want to eat everything. It is necessary to congratulate the waiters. They are small in number, but they provide very good service to their crowded and high-expectation guests. Our young female waitress who took care of our table was prompt and courteous. Those who happen to be in this beautiful part of Munich should not forget to make a reservation. I can only say this: Could there be better ventilation? Because the upper floor is a bit unlucky in this regard. A place we would like to go again.

I recently visited the Spice Bazzar restaurant in Munich and loved it from start to finish. The food is really delicious and the portions are good even for a restaurant in this price range - just as it should be. Waiter attentive, sometimes too hip for my taste. Yes, the shift manager who has already complained (or similar) is not my taste either, but it's also about food. My octopus was something completely different and the ceviche was really very balanced and delicious 😋. The others' osso buco was also great! Can be recommended.

Like many others, I of course read the reviews before the visit and the few negative ones that there are (always) couldn't be further from reality. The restaurant is a real eye-catcher and the food is top notch. The only tip is that the bread plate could be a little more “oriental” but that’s complaining on a very high level. Crunchy Falafel and Creamy Date were our favorites. We'll be back!

I recently went there for the second time with friends and was unfortunately disappointed this time. The starter was very average and my fish pot was unfortunately not good at all. There was also apparently a power outage that day, which meant that it was incredibly cold in the restaurant with the temperatures outside being below zero. Everyone either had their jacket on or their scarf wrapped around them. There was neither a proper apology nor, as befits a restaurant in this price range, a free hot drink or something similar. For the price level I was really disappointed.

Food very special, beautifully served, delicious vegan selection. Good card. Modern atmosphere with impressive lighting. The service was very cool and matter-of-fact, a little more warmth would have been nice.

That was the last time we visited Spice Bazaar! We were all a bit disappointed with the food, mainly because it was only served lukewarm/almost cold. My friendly inquiries about this were not taken seriously; I was treated condescendingly and like a supplicant. The service staff seemed annoyed from the start. My wife kindly asked to change seats because it was too cold for her so close to the front door. This was immediately dismissed in a very unfriendly tone. This could certainly have been explained in a more friendly way. The service staff didn't have any better manners with other guests either. As we unintentionally noticed, a lady was also treated very unkindly. I think this manner of dealing with guests is intolerable. Apparently Spice Bazaar doesn't put much emphasis on guest satisfaction.

A modern and cozy restaurant. The service was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The name of the restaurant doesn't promise too much; different and harmoniously balanced spices explode in the dishes and then in the mouth. We were thrilled and would come here again and again if we were in Munich again.

Super tasty and creative food. I particularly like that the dishes are unique and not offered in other restaurants. The duck was delicious, the salad dressing is intensely aromatic and the calamari melon salad was wonderfully fresh. The beef balls are a poem. The service is excellent and extremely friendly with the necessary humor. Additionally, a really nice terrace for warm summer evenings. We always enjoy visiting the Spice Bazaar. A pearl in Munich.

I used this restaurant for a company party of 150 people, and it took a very long time for the course meal to come out, probably because of the large number of people. We were seated on the second floor, so the atmosphere was great. The food was very delicious.

The best place to eat after a visit to the National Theater - it's open for a relatively long time and the cuisine is exceptionally good. Very good wines. And we are always greeted and served very friendly. The restaurant is always a pleasure.

Great evening with delicious food

The restaurant lives up to its name, the composition is surprising, exciting - and simply delicious. Highly recommended: order and share various starters and main courses together in a group.

The service was very nice and attentive. The starter was good, the main course was okay, but not great or special. The dessert was bad. The atmosphere was also okay, but a conversation at room volume was hardly possible. It was way too crowded, even though not all the tables were occupied. For a restaurant with this standard and price range, it's definitely only midfield.

It was perfect! We had a civil wedding and celebrated the evening in the Spice Bazaar in a small circle. Bringing your own cake wasn't a problem either. The service was very good, Markus was very charming. The food was unique. Yunus was also very, very sweet and cut the cake and served it. Thank you again! I hope I remembered the names correctly 😅

We were here on a date night and what amazing food they served. To begin with we were scared that there vegetarian options are too generic and we would miss out on flavours but we were blown away by how delicious the food was. There Falafel were nothing like have tasted! Only down side was getting the table was not easy and even with reservations we were offered an average sitting. Please reserve and confirm booking in advance at least a week

Great location. I always enjoy coming here. Oriental-inspired cuisine in top quality and a very nice ambience. You can also sit outside very well. The staff is courteous and always friendly. The wine and cocktail selection is very good.

Spice Bazaar Munich offers a fantastic fusion of flavors with plenty of delicious options. Andrej provided excellent service, and the meats were especially tender. Overall, a great dining experience not to be missed!
