Authentic cuisine, good service

We were there on Saturday, just for a spontaneous meal. We were served very quickly and nicely and didn't wait too long for our food. On the subject of food, we had Silesian Kingdom of Heaven, Viennese cutlet, chicken with mushrooms gratin. As well as a tender chicken soup and the beef tartare. It was just super delicious. And very nice service staff. We would love to come back.

Great restaurant with delicious and freshly prepared food! You could hear the schnitzel being made and even the raw vegetables were freshly prepared on site! The carrot salad was a hit with the kids and was even ordered as dessert! That wasn't a problem either. The Zurek soup is served in a roll and was the best I've ever tasted! The pierogies were also handmade and very tasty! The vegetarian menu was also very varied! We'd love to come back!

When we were looking for Silesian cuisine, we found what we were looking for in this inconspicuous, rustic restaurant and got a place on the second attempt with 7 people including a dog. The service was very friendly and attentive; So in addition to water, the dog also got a little something to snack on from the kitchen! We chose bigos, pierogi and breaded cutlet; all 3 dishes were super delicious!!! In the end the price was right too. Definitely a recommendation and if you're in Görlitz it's worth a visit!

Very tasty, authentic Silesian dishes! We were there for dinner with six people and it was good that we had reserved, otherwise we certainly wouldn't have found a place. The service is very friendly and attentive and will be happy to explain something to you about the dishes. The prices are a bit high, but the quality is definitely good and the selection on the menu is large.

According to the homepage, the restaurant should be open. There was a note hanging on the window saying that the restaurant would be closed until March due to vacation. If you already have a homepage, you should maintain it. Too bad 😞

It was a great meal and perfect service. The ingredients are fresh and very tasty. To my taste 😉 I found the place to be a restaurant, just as I expected. There is a lot of meat on the menu, but vegetarians will also find something. Ravioli or mushroom soup are recommended.

6 stars instead of 5 – an unforgettable evening in the Silesian Oasis! We were in Görlitz for two days and visited the Schlesische Oase restaurant for dinner. It was simply fantastic! The food was freshly prepared and tasted excellent - we have rarely eaten so well. Of particular note were the homemade pierogies and the chicken medallions with mushroom sauce, which were absolutely delicious. For dessert there were traditional Silesian dumplings with poppy seeds – a wonderful rounding off to a perfect evening. The service staff was extremely friendly and gave us great advice with great food recommendations. We also learned that well-known personalities are guests every now and then, which for us is just another indication of the high quality of the food and service. In our opinion, the restaurant deserves not just 5, but 6 stars! A big thank you to the entire team – we would love to come back!

We celebrated our class reunion in this great restaurant. The reception was super friendly. The service was very courteous and quick, always a kind word or joke. Diverse menu, everyone was happy with their choice. Every dish was top notch and beautifully prepared. The friendly waitress took photos of us and encouraged us to sing. A very nice restaurant with a not too small but not too large selection of food and drinks. The price-performance ratio is right and you are served very quickly. You should definitely make a reservation and make sure you have enough cash with you. Overall, some restaurants have problems with the internet and charge cash.

I had the beef roulade. The food was good, the service was bad. Both the waitress and waiter ignored my request to pay and smoked in front of the guests at a table in the corner of the terrace.

A super nice restaurant with the opportunity to eat and drink outside when the weather is nice. Sa's food is super tasty, the service is always friendly and quick. Changes to the court are not a problem. The location in the old town offers a great ambience. All in all, we like to come back like every year. Update 2024 Like every year, our first port of call was the oasis. The food was, as always, very tasty, but the portions had become smaller (instead of the usual two beef roulades there was only one) and the price had increased. You can always accept a price increase for good food, but the quantity should not be reduced. Too bad

Because we arrived a little late, not all dishes were available, but the friendly and humorous service gave us excellent advice. The solyanka as a starter: fantastic; the Silesian dumplings as a main course: super delicious; Dessert: unfortunately it wasn't possible anymore, it would have been the poppy seed dumplings - but I'll definitely have them next time.

We were a larger group and were warmly welcomed, our dog was also allowed in. The dishes were freshly prepared, the veal liver with mashed potatoes was absolutely delicious, the roulade was a dream. There are other delicious dishes, if you like or want to try Silesian cuisine, you can't go wrong here. Vegetarians will also find something here. If the main course hadn't been so sumptuous, we would definitely have had dessert too. The location is nicely and comfortably furnished. Prices are a bit pricey, but okay for the amount of portions.

The menu is very clear and you are not overwhelmed by a flood of dishes. The suggested dishes always depend on the season and also sound very tasty. Very nice service - German and Polish. The food is good, the prices are affordable. Payment only in cash. The description states that the dishes served are Polish cuisine - I would rather say traditionally Silesian cuisine. I recommend it, I will definitely come back.

I haven't experienced such fantastic service in a long time. The owner - Mrs. Renata - offered us delicious dishes that were served very quickly and efficiently. Additionally, she recommended interesting attractions in the area. You should know that payment is only in cash.

A great oasis in the middle of hectic life.

Sunday lunchtime: Not all tables were occupied, but the service was overwhelmed and tense, including their employees (colleagues) in front of the guests. Newly arriving guests are informed as soon as they sit down that it will take longer to eat because everyone wants to eat now. Coffee at the end is placed on the table without milk or sugar without you asking whether you want milk or sugar. Probably won't be a second visit, although the food was very good (meaning the chef did a good job).

We were looking for dinner for New Year's Eve. We were immediately invited to dinner by the friendly host and stayed there. We did not regret it. The food was great and our dear colleague served us very well and carefully. Last but not least, he was able to offer us a table for New Year's Eve. Of course, the four of us were happy to accept this and had a wonderful meal on New Year's Eve and spent a long time there. Again with perfect service and of course food. The food was very tasty, the menu has something for every taste. If you are already in Görlitz, you should definitely try Silesian cuisine. There is a point deduction because the Silesian wine from Wroclaw was either sold out (red) or not chilled (white).

CASH ONLY restaurant with local Silesian cuisine. The waiter was super friendly, helpful, and attentive. We ordered the Vegetarischer Bigos and the Schweinebraten in Rotweinsoße; washed down with local beer. We couldn't leave without tasting their Schlesische Klöße mit Mohn which was quite tasty and will def try it again.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Super freundliche Bedienung. Die Pirogge waren am leckersten, Oma Klöße waren auch sehr gut. Sehr nette Bedienung, unser Hund bekam direkt Wasser und ihr wurde auch ein Leckerchen angeboten. Wenn wir noch mal in Görlitz sind, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder.

Super lecker, gute Portionsgröße, nette Bedienung. Sehr gutes regionales, schlesisches Essen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass es mehrere vegetarische Gerichte gibt - auch Vegetarier kommen hier in den Genuss die schlesische Küche zu probieren. Besonders das vegetarische Bigos ist zu empfehlen.

Die Kellnerin war großartig. So ein Goldstück findet man selten im Service.

Wir waren letzte Woche auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt in Görlitz und in der Schlesischen Oase essen. Wir hatten reserviert und daher kein Platzprobleme. Wir trafen auf eine aufmerksame und nette Chefin, die den „Laden“ im Griff hatte. Die Karte ist schlesische und gut bürgerlich zu fairen Preisen. Wir hatten zweimal Entenkeule mit Rotkohl und Klößen, einmal Rinderroulade und einmal Rinderbäckchen. Alle Essen kamen zeitnah und waren super lecker. Es war ein schöner Abend, den wir sehr genossen haben. Ich kann die Location nur empfehlen!!

Essen war in Ordnung, mussten aber mind.40 m.darauf warten,aber die Köchin war bemüht bei vollem restaurant.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend mit einer sehr angenehmen und freunlicher Bedienung. Das Essen war sehr gut und wir können diese Gastronomie unbesorgt weiterempfehlen .

Wir waren zum Mittag mit drei Personen. Man wurde schon vorab sehr intensiv darauf hingewiesen, dass eine Kartenzahlung nicht möglich sei. Wir haben dem Restaurant dennoch eine Chance gegeben, nachdem wir den Bargeldbestand geprüft haben. Innen war es dann auch sehr gemütlich, nett eingerichtet. Es gab bei uns Hauptgang und Dessert. Auf der Karte standen Deutsche und Schlesische Hausmannskost, angepasst an neue Bedürfnisse, also hat unsere Vegetarierin auch etwas gefunden. Die kalten Teller waren gut gefüllt, das Essen darauf aber lecker gekocht. Was gut funktioniert hat, war das zeitgleiche Servieren. Man hat allerdings schon mit dem Abräumen begonnen als eine von uns noch am Essen war. Das kam unerwartet. Etwas eigenartig fand ich den Platzierungszwang im nur maximal halbvollen Gastraum. Der Preis war etwa so hoch wie bei einem Essen in Dresden. Wir waren bei etwa 100€. Fazit: Kann man machen. Der Service hat noch Potential.
