The Rose - Modern Brasserie in Berlin

A nice place to enjoy live jazz with good food and drinks. I like the view of the balloon through the wide window front. I'm looking forward to enjoying some of it from the SkyBar as soon as possible. I would just like to see one (more) vegetarian dish among the starters and main courses and - outside of the pasta and salad universe - more enthusiasm for experimentation. The attentive and good service and the casual atmosphere rounded off the lovely evening there.

Really a great restaurant. The prices may be a little daunting at first, but it's totally worth it. The atmosphere is really nice and we really liked it. The service was very nice, attentive and courteous. The food was great. The portions are sufficient and if you do you can also order a delicious dessert. Overall we really liked it. This restaurant is highly recommended for a romantic dinner for two or a nice family meal. ;)

Beautiful restaurant - lit candles, velvet pink and green chairs, white table cloths, nice lighting, floral wall paper, and amazing wait staff! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Every Thursday at 7:00 is live jazz music with a beautiful singer and piano. Not too loud and very nice!! Definitely go on Thursday evenings! The menu was small but very good (French-esque) - mostly fish and meat. The Steak Frites was very fancy - more like Fillet Mignon! The fries were also amazing, as were the fresh cocktails! I picked this place randomly because it looked nice and it was close to our Airbnb, and I was very impressed! Would highly recommend.

The food was very good. The prices may seem intimidating at first, but you pay for an excellent taste experience. The service is very nice.

I've been coming to the place since they first opened over a year ago and always loved how warm and welcoming the service was. However my experience for the brunch on Sunday was my worst experience there. Despite having a reservation, when I was seated on the patio, the table wasn't laid with a cloth or cutlery. I was seated for several minutes but nobody came to lay my table. When an American couple came in after me, they were also seated at a table that wasn't laid, however the waiter quickly went and laid their table yet neglected mine. Instead of laying my table, I got cutlery and napkin in a dirty plate. Maybe because I am not white they thought I was fine with a table that wasn't laid. Some of the waiters were friendly and one I recognised from my previous visits was always welcoming, and for that I give an extra point. However, failing to properly accommodate me whilst doing the same for other guests in the same position is discrimination. Maybe the waiter who served me wasn't aware of it at the time but I write this review so it doesn't happen to another person. Also, after I paid the bill, I was friendly and said good day to the waiter, however I was completely ignored. The food was great as usual, even though I think the scrambled egg with bacon is overpriced for what is offered. But in terms of quality, I definitely enjoyed the food. The food is great but the service needs to improve and not make guests feel like they are being discriminated against.

This is an upscale version of a modern brasserie. Small but interesting menu that allows for combination of seafood and meat. Jakobsmuscheln and the ceviche were both amazing. Lobster pasta was also very good. Truffle pasta was Ok. We also enjoyed the cocktails a lot! If you are fan of piña colada this is the place to be. Jazz aesthetics, nice music, attentive staff plus a terrace for the warm nights. Recommended.

We‘ve been there to celebrate my Birthday and we had an amazing experience! The waiters were super friendly and the chef was inspired! I think I ate one of the best Rindertatar (beef tartar) in my life! It definitely worth the price… will be back soon!

Sehr schöner Laden mit sehr gutem Service. Leider erfüllte das Essen nicht die Erwartungen. Das Tatar schmeckte nur nach Limette. Die Fischplatte für 69 Eur bestand leider aus zu trocken gebratenem Fisch. Sehr schade.

I found this restaurant through a google map search, in hope to find something new and enjoyable. However allot of new restaurants can't get it right - beautiful venue - a new concept - It all die if the service or delivery is awful. Let me explain. We called to book a table and spoke to a lovely lady. All 👌. On arrival, we got a wobbly table. We asked the waiter to attend to it which he forgot. After a reminder another inexperienced person came to “fix it” - clearly he didn’t know that a folded coster is the fastest way to fix this and it just felt a bit unprofessional. Not off to a good start. The place and the menu are American inspired - the theme is modern jazz bar. On our evening we had live music 🎶 - great singer nice piano 🎹 - but way too loud for us - we were seated next to the performers and we couldn’t enjoy our conversation any longer. It was way too loud and made us very uncomfortable. My advice to have this kind of occasions when focusing on the bar or later in the evening. Our starter arrives - we have ordered it to share, the bread 🍞 and plates arrived 3 min later. During the whole evening are we served by 3 different waiters. Our main course same problem - big mixup - my partner got his food and not his fries or salad and I only got my side dish. My main dish arrives 10 min later along with my partner's fries - no salad at all. Big disaster. I can accept this kind of service and delivery if you go to a cheaper restaurant but when spending around 100 euro for dinner for two is this service unacceptable. Summary: Venue: ***nice but loud music brought it down. Food**** actually ok Service and delivery * Horrible It's nice to try a new place and I now know that we won’t be coming back here again. Tolle Location, faire Preise und ein super Personal! Die Drinks waren waren auch sehr lecker 🤤 Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste mal.

Höchst exquisit in erlesener Qualität. Super Atmosphäre, tolles Team und köstliche Speisen. Es ist wirklich lobenswert, ich hatte eine bezaubernde Zeit in "The Rose".

Sehr empfehlenswert. Ich lebe in der Gegend und bin froh endlich ein solches Restaurant bei mir zu haben. Seit Eröffnung war ich jetzt schon viermal da! Sehr guter Service! Lob an den Küchenchef. Tolle Weine. Toller Ausblick. Weiter so!

Das Restaurant The Rose im Herzen Berlins bietet ein sensationelles Ambiente im Innen und Außenbereich. Die großzügig Terrasse das zum Innenhof liegt, bietet eine tolle Atmosphäre zu abschalten und für tolle ungestörte Gespräche am Abend. Wenn man nach dem Essen noch Lust auf einen Absacker hat, muss man nicht noch großartig suchen in dieser Weltmetropole, sondern man geht einfach eine Etage höher im The Rose, an die sehr stylische Bar mit Blick auf die Berliner Mauer und die Weltkugel. Das Essen ist fantastisch und liebevoll zubereitet, ein Gaumenschmaus. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen. LG

Hallo ihr Lieben Also, wer wirklich sehr schön Essen gehen will, sollte dass The Rose immer auf dem Schirm haben. 1. das Essen ist unfassbar gut, mit großartigen Gerichten 2. das Ambiente ist sensationell durchdacht 3. mit wirklich guter Service Schaut einfach mal rein und lass euch verwöhnen;) In diesem Sinne Ein klares JA!!!

Super Drinks. Mega Location Cooler Tanzbereich mit DJ wird dir auch geboten. Wenn du Abwechselung und Vielfalt magst ist es genau das richtige.

Hallo Liebe Leute Ich war am Samstag im The Rose Restaurant und Bar. Das Essen ist von einem anderen Stern!! OMG!! Die Trüffelpasta ist der Hammer. Wer wirklich gut essen gehen will mit einem sehr coolen und schönen Ambiente sollte immer The Rose auf dem Schirm haben. Der Barkeeper zaubert euch Wundergetränke die ihr so in Berlin nirgends findet, der Mann ist ein Genie! Der Service war einfach gesagt „one point“, zuvorkommend, sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und immer ein Lächeln auf dem Mund. Sowas findet man echt selten!!!!! Meine klare Empfehlung mit 6 Sternen, wenn 6 ginge;) Vielen Dank an das The Rose und sein gesamtes Tram für den unvergesslichen Abend.

Wer auf der Suche nach wirklich gutem, qualitativ hochwertigen, und dazu noch leckeren Essen ist, einem ungewöhnlichen, stylischen, und trotzdem gemütlichen Ambiente, einer riesigen Auswahl an Drinks (Anmerkung: ich glaube alleine fast 50 verschiedene Gins!) und Servicepersonal, dem seine Arbeit wirklich Spaß macht, der kommt am "The Rose" nicht vorbei. Wir haben das Restaurant eher zufällig entdeckt und waren von A bis Z begeistert. Ein Besuch hier lohnt auf jeden Fall! Egal ob im Restaurant Bereich, oder im 1. OG in der Bar. Wir waren wirklich angetan vom ganzen Konzept und wünschen dem jungen Team viel Erfolg!!!

This place is a best kept secret - I went for visit to Berlin and can only recommend the delicate selection of dishes, each thoughtfully prepared and most importantly delicious. Also spotted a vine vault, which my friends appreciated - I can recommend their fresh oysters, the steak frites and the Bar on the first floor with a great rum selection and a real bar tender that knows how to bang out some crazy drink! The staff is very service oriented and welcomed us warmly. Always again....

Service oriented... love how chill this place is. Food is very good! It's one of those places that don't offer you much variety but each dish they serve is delicious! Sunday brunch choices are really yummy too! Good choices of wine as well! Will definitely come back!!!

Einfach lecker essen.und schöner location

Super leckeres Essen! Kann ich nur empfehlen. Vor allem die Qualität der liebevoll zubereiteten Speisen hat mich beeindruckt! War nun schon zwei mal da. Mit meinem Mann zum Abendessen und zum Brunch mit den Mädels. Mimosas 100 Prozent gut! Der Blick auf den Weltballon oben von der Bar ist auch wirklich klasse! Komme gerne wieder! Ein Restaurantkonzept mit Charakter was man so nicht nochmal findet!
