The old press house in Alsheim

We really enjoy going to the Kelterhaus!! Great music, delicious food, nice staff and the ambience is simply wonderful in summer and winter!

Great restaurant, nice atmosphere and friendly service, just makes you feel good

...but today only emergency doctors and firefighters were present - and surely THEY were all on standby!! Because 90% of those present were just tinkering with their cell phones...

Everything just fits. There is something on the menu for everyone. The ambience is unique and the service is top.

Actually it was nice, but I was scared to death just as I was going out when the house's off-leash dog stormed at me hysterically, completely aggressively, yapping at the top of his lungs, so that my husband stood in front of me because no one felt the need to held the crazy animal back and only a slight grumbling came from the owner. The group sitting there probably found it funny too. When I came in the dog was already aggressive, so I thought they were doing something, it wouldn't happen again. They didn't care. How inhumane and ruthless can one actually be? At some point a guest has a heart attack because of the obviously disturbed dog. The one point for the ambience because of that hellhound at the entrance. And my heart is still racing after an hour.😢 PS: if the owners don't want to train the dog, I sincerely hope that he learns the hard way and that at some point someone will bravely slap the bag on his aggressive mouth!

For me there is nothing better than enjoying an ice-cold Riesling in the evening sun. Great food, great location. We'll be back soon!

Nice winery and delicious food. There is also a good selection for vegetarians. You can sit very comfortably in the outdoor area. There are plenty of shady spots. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Really very nicely located, with a beautiful garden and old decorations. It's not completely styled but rather a colorful mix - that makes it very endearing. The service was good, the drinks weren't too expensive. There's still room for improvement when it comes to eating! But you probably don't come here primarily to eat. There is live music on Sundays from 4 p.m. No extra entry. Very cool! The volume today was so pleasant that we could still have a conversation.

There is no replacement for the original. Live music, delicious food, fair prices, very nice innkeepers. The whole thing in the vaulted cellar or beautiful garden. We'll be back, guaranteed 👍

Beautiful and stylish place with tasty food. Not much of a choice in the menu but what is available is delicious. I've been here twice and the waiting time for food or even getting a menu was always long. The food is worth the wait though. ;) Both times I was lucky to hear to life music played by some talented bands. Can't wait to come again for the yummy Flammkuchen. :)

A Rhine-Hessian gem in the middle of the vineyards

Beautiful ostrich restaurant with parking space. Partly covered and places in the sun. There are beautiful walking paths through the vineyards around the old wine press house. There are tarte flambées, small dishes but also traditional schnitzel. The wine is delicious but there is also wheat beer. You can buy beautiful flowers and herbs at the parking lot, nice idea.

I came across this restaurant by chance; this historic wine press house is located on the edge of the vineyards. It looks inconspicuous from the outside but that's deceptive. Very nice staff, a clear menu and changing daily specials invite you to linger. The portions are just right and everything is very tasty and fresh. I would love to come back here and look forward to the beer garden season.

Hike and then into the old wine press house. Great location. To sit comfortably outside. Small menu where everyone can find what they are looking for.

Was invited to a small celebration there. Great little place. The food was very tasty. Very nice young waiter. I will definitely go there again in the summer.

Very nice place for young and old, no exorbitant prices, delicious food, something for everyone, very nice here both in summer and in winter. Often cultural program.

I have to take a little stand here. Maybe we were there at the wrong time 😌 The menu is quite manageable. Here I can clearly recommend the tarte flambée. Maybe with a wine and outside in the evening if the weather is nice. Unfortunately, we were pretty much the only guests (carnival time), so I can't say much about musical entertainment. But we will definitely come back again in a warmer season.

A really nice atmosphere mixed with a good mood and live music. For me a place of gathering😉 We had a very nice evening!

Sehr gemütlicher Außenbereich & guter Garnelensalat & Flammkuchen. Service sehr nett, etwas lost. Haben hier auf der Durchreise einen Zwischenstopp eingegelegt und können dies - gerade wegen der sehr schönen Außenplätzen - sehr empfehlen. Achtung: Stolpergefahr durch frei laufende Hühner & Hund ;)

Ein sehr schönes Anwesen, leider war die Bedienung überfordert und es hat alles extrem lange gedauert. Das Essen ist gut, könnte geschmacklich aber etwas mehr Pepp vertragen.

Wir waren als Geburtstagsgäste geladen. Das Lokal ist sehr schön eingerichtet mit angenehmem Biergarten. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und bemüht die große Besucherzahlen zufrieden zu stellen. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind kommen wir gerne wieder.

Für uns ein absoluter Wohlfühlort. Tolles Ambiente um einfach die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Der Service war kompetent, schnell und sehr höflich. Das Essen sehr lecker. Preislich absolut im Rahmen. Sehr gerne immer wieder!

Super leckeres Essen, sehr netter Service und das Ambiente ist so schön.

Wie im Urlaub fühlen wir uns im ZAK. Alle sind freundlich, lieb ....wie eine 2.Familie. Hier kommt noch der Wirt an jeden Tisch und begrüßt seine Gäste mit Namen und Lieblingsgetränk. Die Tüpfelchen ist noch die gute Live Musik. Mehr können wir nicht wollen.

Es war wieder einmal ein gelungener Abend mit Simone Matteis. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hin. Macht weiter so 😃
