The Klub Kitchen in Berlin

Delicious food, served super fast, perfect for a lunch break! The only downside was the somewhat cumbersome digital ordering and payment process (at least for me).

The Klub Kitchen in Berlin Mitte is a wonderful lunch spot. The sustainable food is delicious, especially the glass noodle salad. The online ordering system works perfectly, and the service is incredibly friendly.

Always crowded and loud, but always good!

I had a very disappointing experience at Kitchen Klub on 30 October around 13:00. I ordered food and a drink at table 41 and waited 40 minutes, but nothing ever arrived. When I went to the front of the house, they told me they could not find my order, even though the payment had already been taken. Instead of apologizing or offering a quick solution, they told me to order again. I only had a one hour break, so this was not an option. And I had talked to a waitress that even involved the manager on duty or owner. They also told me they could not refund me because the payment might have been a preauthorization. They said it would auto-release. It is now two weeks later and I still have not received my refund. I understand that technical issues happen, but the lack of responsibility and the absence of any real apology or effort to make things right were unacceptable. At the very least, they could have prepared the food immediately or refunded me properly. I left without lunch and without my money. Very disappointing experience, and I will not be returning.

The food was very healthy and delicious, but the waiters were a bit too arrogant; they should learn how to treat their guests politely. If they continue to work so grimly, I won't be coming back.

Amazing lunchtime food with unique flavors and lots of combinations and choices. You have to order via mobile phone, short wait time, good service. I ordered a pulled chicken bowl with glass noodles and avocado. Vegan options are also available, and Vietnamese coffee is a special feature.

Good food served very fast and in generous portions. Always tastes fresh as well. Service sometimes comes with attitude, the front area frequently smells strongly of chlorine, and the Cappuccino is a definite miss. Prices have climbed steeply over the last three years, and the pricing feels dated: vegetarian dishes cost the same as meat while adding extra chicken is +€4. Come for quick, hearty plates - not for coffee or hospitality.

Tuesday, 12:45 PM. Very crowded, very loud. But: Delicious food and incredibly fast service. Ordering and payment via smartphone. Super efficient.

The owner's dog happily strolls from outside straight into the kitchen, not exactly a very hygienic situation. When I paid with a voucher, the staff simply added a generous tip without communicating it to me.

Serious food poisoning after ordering a pasta here. It was the only thing I ate all day so I know it came from here.

Great food, awful service staff. I ordered online at work and received a code for pickup. I arrived at the restaurant at the predetermined pickup time and asked for precisely the two dishes I ordered, but quoted the number in reverse order by accident and was rudely denied my food. Anyone with a brain would know it was my order, but instead I had to run back to the office and take a picture of the order number before running back to the place to pick up my food, which had been sitting there for 30 minutes. Who the hell rocks up at a restaurant, quotes the exact order and gets the number wrong by one digit, unless they have ordered that food? Is there some takeaway food thief mafia I don't know about? Clearly intentionally unhelpful.

This was great, not pretentious at all. So easy to order. I went with 4 of my friends just 30min before closing time and we just scanned the QR and were eating in about 10min. I ordered the eggplant one, I just can’t describe it.

My go to place for healthy lunch, I just wish they would expand their menu!

Very healthy and yummy lunch options here! Payment super easy, you scan the QR code at the table, view the menu, pay and the food is brought to your table. They have also a terrace in the backyard. Can get full and loud during lunch time. All in all I like to come here for lunch. Prices affordable. So far only card/ apple payment options possible.

Good lunch spot with a bar feel (and music). We came here with six people without a reservation, and despite the restaurant being full, the food arrived quickly and was delicious.

I really like the tastes in here. I tried the pasta before, the portion was a bit smaller but really tasty. But my all time favorite is definitely the salmon plate. It is really tasty and filling. I also tried the aubergine dish, it was also good and tasty

Very tasty. One of the best lunch options in the region. The pulled chicken with pomrgranate and the Cesar salad are so good 👍 Problem is: this place is so crazy loud. Not only because it's full around lunch time, but even off peak hours, they put loud music inside. It's really unpleasant to me.

The food is awesome, the fact that you just order with a QR code is any millennial / Gen Z dream, the coffee is good, the location is great... I can't think of a downside.

Food is just amazing! One of the best restaurants I’ve tried in Berlin. Be aware that the ambient is loud, but the vibes are pretty cool and invite you to have fun :)

Warning!!! It causes addiction. Delicious healthy lunch option. Huge portions. Perfect mix of flavors. Balanced meal. You will get your order in several minutes. So if you have 1h lunch time it’s more than enough for walking both ways, eat and enjoy the atmosphere. As for me it’s a bit loud for a lunch place. Not comfortable to talk to each other. But this is my subjective opinion.

Ate here several times and absolutely love it! The vegan sweet-potato glass noodles dish is so so good.

I wanted to have a dish that includes glass noodles and instead I asked for rice cause I don't like those noodles. There was absolutely no way I could get it switched. For me this is non negotiable. Not coming back

The concept is a bit inhumane. If you don't have a digital payment method or even a smartphone, you're not even allowed to order here. I don't even need to rate the service. The idea is more that you don't even have to talk to the employees. The music in the room was unpleasantly loud. It's like sitting in a park and having to listen to your neighbor's music. No choice. The food is good, though. A simple bowl concept that works. Preparation is quick, as is the time spent in the Klub Kitchen. I would recommend this place for quick lunch breaks and on-the-go meals.

Loved the space, the place and the food. It is such a good find in Berlin. Sadly, my first (and only) visit led to food poisoning. I was probably just unlucky but worth sharing to people can be mindful.

What a great experience! We could order via QR code on our table. The food just took 7 minutes to arrive. Everything was fresh and just tasty. We ate the ginger-chicken and the Humus Bowl. Just delicious. It is healthy and they have reasonable prices. There are not so many options oder but that makes things easier. Every dish has a picture online. There is food, extras, dessert, coffee, tea, cold drinks, water and merch (bags, plates and bowls). They also include vegetarian and vegan options available clearly visible on the menu. My bowl costed €11,50. You can find it in the last picture.

Loved the food. You can ordee via the app and the service was quite fast. The portion size is just perfect. On busy hours its really tough to find a spot. The place gets really noisy, but manageable

A great restaurant for anyone who wants to eat healthily and mindfully during their lunch break! Ordering and payment are done digitally. To do so, you must scan the QR code on the table. Your order will then be brought to your table by a waiter. I waited less than five minutes for my drink at 3 p.m. (even though all the tables outside were occupied). My food arrived after a 15-minute wait and tasted delicious! Because you pay directly during the ordering process, there's no annoying wait for the bill after eating. Great concept - I'll be back! :)

I got there around 6pm, and ordered a hummus bowl and a brownie the other day. I have to confess that my mind still ponders on the bowl. It was super lekker, a friend of mine got the pasta and she didn’t enjoy hers as much tho. Waited not more than 10 mins for orders to be delivered

I found this place after watching it on YouTube, and it seems like a good place to have a quick lunch. The food also has a menu with rice, so it might be good for Asian tastes. It doesn't seem to be very cost-effective, though... Eggplant dish and salmon soy sauce rice bowl? I heard it was delicious, so I ordered salmon soy sauce rice bowl. It was good to eat it with salmon in a slightly sweet soy sauce. However, the atmosphere is noisy, so I can't hear well ㅠㅠ

Far too lazy, far too loud, and totally inflexible, but the food is good, you have to admit; otherwise, it's completely overrun with hipsters. We put up with everything. Sorry, it started out so well until it got bigger. I miss the flexible old staff.🎶

I‘ve ordered from the Klub Kitchen several times before and the food is always amazing. However, when i came in in person today the girl working behind the counter was speaking to me in such an arrogant and rude manner that lacked any basic human decency, no hello, goodbye or even looking me in the eyes. I know working in hospitality can be frustrating but as someone who worked in these environments myself i would never let it out on a costumer asking a simple question. Having an interaction like that just throws off the entire day and I don’t think I will be coming back.

If the food weren't so delicious, I wouldn't come back here. The service is very questionable. An artificial plant takes precedence over eight people. Because we slightly moved the vase once, we were no longer allowed to sit at a larger table, and the eight of us were seated at a table for six immediately after ordering. This kind of behavior is unfortunately unacceptable.

Absolutely awful experience. The staff is extremely rude, painfully slow, and clearly overwhelmed. They don’t care about the customers at all and make no effort to engage or be helpful. If you’re hoping for even basic service, forget it. The food is okay, but definitely not worth the attitude and incompetence you have to endure to get it. If you’re in the mood to be ignored, frustrated, and leave in a worse mood than you came in with, this is the place for you. One of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. Avoid at all costs.

An absolutely terrible experience. The service was simply disastrous – absolutely awful! I was served by a dark-haired woman with a hearing aid and a man with dark curly hair and a bit of a beard – both completely overwhelmed and extremely unfriendly. You almost felt like you were disturbing them as soon as you asked a question. No smile, no politeness, zero professionalism. The food was good, but what good is that if you feel like an annoying supplicant? Unfortunately, a halfway decent plate doesn't make up for the disastrous impression. The place seems disorganized, the staff overwhelmed – and the overall impression is just very uncool. It's a shame about the food, but with service like that, you definitely won't be coming back. Absolutely not recommended.

Great spot for a quick, healthy lunch. It’s packed during lunchtime, but the wait time was very reasonable when I went. Service was fast and efficient. Suitable for all group sizes. Once you are seated at your table, you will scan the QR code to order & to pay. 📝The QR code is table-specific. What I liked: - Lots of healthy options & clear food allergy annotations (e.g. vegan, gluten free) - Large portions What could have been better: - Seasoning tasted quite heavy for me. For example, I enjoyed the sweet potato noodles, but the sauce was a tad too sweet.

A very pleasant atmosphere and fast, courteous service. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. All in all, highly recommended. There were six of us and we were able to stop by spontaneously for lunch. Great vegan dishes and dairy alternatives. 10/10

It wasn't anything special that would make you come back a second time.

The staff and healthy menu offer is fantastic but it's quite absurd that everytime we are here in a big group (10-12 people) we get the same table with this big flower vase in the middle, in the which we are not allowed to move because aesthetic reasons. We can't see each other's faces. The row in front of you on the table will be completely blocked. So, we eat together but not really, because we have to be talking around the vasel. We have asked before if we could temporary move it to the corner or somewhere else and the poor staff always reported back they are obliged to leave it in the middle because of their superior directions. So... To the people in charge of designing this: does the experience from looking at the vase from far way matter more than the actual experience of eating at the table? Why? The ambience otherwise is amazing. Thank you 🙂

Amazing food and choices, taste are great and are out of the ordinary. But the service we got was terrible, it really felt like we were bothering them by being here and ordering food. We were placed next to the door (temperature outside was about 10° but sunny), and the door left open. When we asked if it would be possible to close it as we were cold, we received a big "NO", "we need it open". They have blankets but did not offer any to our table. So we had to eat in our winter jacket. Great food ruined by bad service. Not sure if I would recommend this place, the food is really nice, but you can have the same quality elsewhere in Berlin where you'll be received nicely and not left freezing.

Most remorseful service! Rarely have I experienced such unfriendly staff. An Asian employee who worked in service or reception insulted me incredibly cheekily because I scanned the wrong QR code and now she has to pay more VAT. would have to pay. Your statement “Should we now put up a sign especially for such people, everyone knows that?” Then I “would have helped myself” and she laughs at me - I would have liked to leave the restaurant immediately, but I had already paid. Discussed it with her for ages - that's no service! I was here almost every week - never again. Probs to the lady who must have had a very bad day

The pasta with salaiccia that I had yesterday for lunch was apparently spoiled. I lay flat all afternoon and into the evening with nausea, vomiting and the like.

Overall, the food at this restaurant was okay, but we were unfortunately disappointed with the service. When we asked to pay by card and separately, our request was not taken into account. The employee showed little effort to accommodate us in this regard, which we found very unfortunate. We would have liked more friendliness and customer orientation here.

I love the food; it’s always extremely fresh and of high quality. However, there isn't really any service to speak of, since you either order at the counter or through the app. I wouldn't describe the atmosphere as nice, as it tends to get quite loud inside, and the outdoor areas are decent but always crowded. It's more of a trendy place in Mitte where people come to see and be seen.

My favorite lunch restaurant. I eat here regularly. But there could be more vegetarian dishes. You can also order some dishes specifically vegan/vegetarian. But then they just leave the chicken out of the chicken salad and you still pay the full price.

Klub kitchen can never disappoint, be it their food, quality or services. Being a regular visitor there, I like the vegetarian options in their menu that are healthy with deliciousness. Good place to dine in and service is also pretty quick. The staff as well is really friendly and polite. I recommend this place, whether you would like to dine in or takeaway.

Absolutely bottomless service. The food was cold, the salmon tasted rotten and one of the saleswomen had an incredibly cheeky and presumptuous manner. Not again.

Overpriced food for something they don’t even prepared at the place. I saw my order being taken out of the fridge to be warmed up at the microwave. I used to come to this place pretty regularly but since yesterday I prefer to go somewhere else where the food is prepared when you order it, has good quality and price. Really sad to know that they presume to be a healthy place but it is not

I can't judge the service and ambience since I ordered. I was a bit sad as the food was different than what was on the menu. So far all the salads I have ordered have had extra dressing. That's what I assumed because otherwise the food would be soggy by the time it gets home... I also don't tolerate sesame very well, so I was looking forward to the meal and didn't want to use the seam dressing at all... But it was already on there, in it and everywhere🥲. Well, no food for me. Did anyone else enjoy it and they really enjoyed it too…. Anyway: Then there was an extra dressing in another package, which was not on the menu. I just had that with a few extra lettuce leaves... Maybe next time you could put the dressing that is on the menu in your dressing pack🥹 The packaging was carefully and neatly packed.

I was shown the Klub Kitchen by work colleagues last year. The establishment is very clean, clearly arranged and modernly furnished. In my opinion, it was just the right choice for lunch. The staff is absolutely professional - from taking the order to serving the dishes, they give the customer a great feeling when visiting the Klub Kitchen.

If you order with the QR on the table, it will be brought to your table. The atmosphere is good (there are a lot of people) and it is noisy / I recommend menu number 2. The Mexican-style sauce is delicious / I wanted to eat grilled salmon, but I set the options incorrectly so eggplant came out. If you want to choose salmon, select the + protein option.

Yes, what do you say about that? A restaurant run like a delivery service. Sit down - scan the table - select food and drinks - pay. A few minutes later the food is put on the table - without cutlery, of course. “You can get this on the other side of the room.” Ordering with an app, paying, having food delivered, getting cutlery yourself - sounds somehow familiar to me. I had enough during the lockdown. The principle is not new and elsewhere you can also order and pay in an app. But here you no longer feel like a guest at all. Well, okay. To eat. I'll keep it short. I had a Cesar salad, or rather an interpretation of it. Tastes good, but nothing that you couldn't get of the same quality elsewhere. In terms of price it was absolutely okay. I can't say anything about the staff, as they don't exist other than to put the plates down.

I can't give a review about the food, only about the ordering process. You cannot place an order with cash or debit card as these do not work in Apple Pay. Ambience also very blandly depressive

It’s very well located in the centre. They have a vegan/ vegetarian options available. During the weekdays brunch it can get very noisy. It’s cashless and paperless. You need to place order online. The food is really flavourful. I enjoyed it. For my taste it was bit of savour. But manageable.

Literally stopped hating eating veggies after eating here. My absolute fav would be the hummus bowl, everything is perfectly combined in this dish!

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with my visit. I ordered a Caesar salad, but the chicken was completely tasteless, as was the dressing. There was also a kind of guacamole on the salad, which also had no taste whatsoever. I found the atmosphere in the restaurant to be uncomfortable and cool - both in terms of the atmosphere and the temperature. Overall, the experience was unfortunately not satisfactory and I would not recommend anyone to eat there.

The hype of this place is sooo worth it! My Cesar salad had all the necessary toppings and the sweet potato noodles were impeccable too!!! For a good price and healthy food this place is amazing!

Incredible food quality, service and ambiance.

Recommended to me by a friend of mine, I was very satisfied with my experience at The Klub Kitchen. They offer a comparatively small menu that comes with lots of variety, though, as the dishes are all pretty unique. It took us quite some time to finally decide on what we'd pick from all the delicious options available. I chose the pasta with Salsiccia which was pretty tasty and some cucumber water which I also enjoyed very much. All in all, the Klub Kitchen is definitely a place you should check out if you're looking for a unique and not too-expensive culinary experience.

Great lunch spot with Qr menus on the table and completely cashless. Food is fresh and flavorful and is served by waiters with a holier-than-thou attitude. So yes, if that’s your thing, go for it! 🤣

Super tasty and fast service. Great for a quick lunch in between. Nice ambience/decor, but of course a little louder when fully occupied :) we'll be back!!
