The Blasky Restaurant & Rooftop in Frankfurt am Main

My room faced the train tracks, making it extremely noisy and impossible to open the window. The mattresses were past their best, and my toilet seat was broken. All in all, it was pretty below average. The breakfast was good.

We stayed at the Blasky Hotel and had a truly excellent experience! The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and tastefully modern, perfect for a comfortable stay. The highlight is definitely the rooftop restaurant: we dined on a three-course menu, and every dish was meticulously prepared, both in presentation and flavor. The cocktails were truly exceptional, prepared with great professionalism. The breakfast deserves a special mention: rich, varied, and of the highest quality—truly an A+! Plus, the view of the Frankfurt skyline is simply breathtaking: a panorama that makes the stay even more unforgettable. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

The rooms are quite noisy for their price range. Railroad tracks run right next to the hotel. The rooms themselves are quite tidy and invitingly decorated.

We were at the restaurant as part of the "Autumn Menu." It was simply another fantastic experience. The food was exquisite and flavorful, the drinks were perfect, and the view was priceless. We could have sat outside on a mild autumn evening and had an unforgettable evening. We'll be back.

I stayed in the hotel for one night and couldn't sleep a minute... The railroad crossing and trains were right next to the window, making it very noisy; you could hear the neighbors as if they were in your own room. Loud guests all night, noise and loud chatter; you could hear every footstep, the air conditioning and heating were too loud. The internet was way too slow, and you only received public broadcasts on TV. In a 4-star hotel, I expect a tissue dispenser in the bathroom. Should I wipe my nose with toilet paper? The area is Sachsenhausen, but I didn't feel particularly comfortable in the evening. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. The hotel looks nice and clean, and the staff was also very friendly... that shouldn't go unmentioned, of course.

We were in the restaurant and the rooftop bar last night and would like to express our sincere thanks to the waiters, Milo and Lina, who looked after us so well and were very friendly throughout the evening. The starters and main courses, as well as the wines, were also very good, although the dessert (white chocolate mousse with sorbet) still leaves room for improvement. A very successful evening in a lovely atmosphere. We would be happy to come back.

One of my favorite hotels! I've stayed in the "Blasky Two" room and the "Blasky Loft Suite," both of which were excellent. I rarely write reviews, but when you've had such a great stay, you have to give some feedback. The reception staff were super friendly. The room was clean and the view of the skyline was amazing! It's definitely not in the city center, but thankfully not :) I found it quiet and comfortable; I'd go back anytime! Thank you!

It was the only bathroom where I truly felt at home — no shoes, no slippers. It’s very clean, made with high-quality materials. The vibe feels like a €150 per night hotel room. I’ll definitely come back.

The hotel is located next to the Süd train station (15 minutes walk), very convenient if you have a train leaving from this station. The rooms are not very large, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is on the 6th floor, with very nice views of the city. There is a lot to choose from on the buffet.

Beautiful, small hotel. We were upgraded to a Blasky Three room, which was very clean. The breakfast was excellent. Everything was fresh, some of it regional. They also offer gluten-free muesli. The rooftop bar is fantastic. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the view of the skyline.

We were in Frankfurt for a concert. The room was nice, clean, and spacious. The entire hotel made a good impression. The staff were friendly. The hotel's ambiance was very pleasant. The only things you could hear at night were the noisy neighbors or the train tracks/level crossing. There was an Aldi and a Lidl directly across the street, a 10-minute walk away. We highly recommend the hotel!

Beautiful hotel in a quiet location in Sachsenhausen. The rooms are very modern and adequately spacious, there's a rooftop bar with a great view, and there are several restaurants and supermarkets nearby. I would come back anytime.

Booked, paid, confirmed. So far, so good. A short time later, I received an email stating that the hotel was canceling the room because it had been sold too cheaply. After complaining, I was offered a different room category. When I inquired about this, the description, pictures, etc., I never heard anything again. In conclusion, if you want to go to the professionals and rely on getting a booked and paid room after a flight, you should probably go elsewhere.

We stayed there for two nights and were very satisfied. The room was nice, spacious, and, above all, clean! The bathroom was great. The service was also very good, and we were always treated very kindly – we would definitely come back in the future. The price was also really good!

A thoroughly successful brunch with outstanding service We went to the rooftop brunch at The Blasky yesterday (Sunday) thanks to the V-Spots voucher offer and were absolutely thrilled. While the buffet selection was rather limited, it was very high quality and featured creative, lovingly executed ideas – for example, homemade ginger shots. The buffet was also regularly refilled, which we found very positive. The only thing we could do with the butter tongs being a bit longer to avoid getting your fingers dirty. But that's really a minor thing and doesn't detract from the overall experience. The service was outstanding. From the friendly welcome to the table assignment to the assistance at the drink dispensers, the entire team was attentive, warm, and professional. This level of personal service is unfortunately rare these days. Thanks to the voucher program, we got to know The Blasky – and will happily return regularly from now on. It was a thoroughly successful, relaxed morning.

One of the most beautiful rooftop bars in the city, by far not the highest, but still with a great view of the entire skyline.

The hotel is highly recommended. We had a very nice stay. The entire hotel is decorated with great passion, especially the many beautiful artificial flowers that rounded it off. The rooms were very clean and functional, and the bed was very comfortable. No noise from the street. The breakfast is a bit limited for the price, but OK. Freshly baked eggs would have been great. The roof terrace is very nice with a beautiful view. The staff throughout the hotel are very accommodating and friendly. We would happily recommend it.

Great hotel, we stayed for two nights for the Iron Maiden concert. We loved the location. The rooftop terrace is especially nice. The staff was very friendly. We'll definitely stay here again next time.

My daughter and I attended a concert at Deutsche Bank Park and spent a night at "The Blasky." As a thank you, we're happy to give it 5 stars: super friendly staff, the room with bathroom was chic and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet in the rooftop bar was delicious. If checkout hadn't been at 11 a.m., we would have happily spent the whole day at the hotel. We'll be back! 😊

The rooftop bar was closed due to a private party, and hotel guests were unable to bring a single drink. The staff were extremely unfriendly and explained to us that it was the guests' responsibility to inquire in advance whether they could actually use the hotel's bar. This is a complete disgrace. As a hotel, you have to ensure that guests receive the service advertised and booked. The staff member offered us a seat in the lobby after we had gotten our own drinks from outside. What an offer! The music from the party in the bar could be heard all the way up to the third floor until well after midnight – sleeping was out of the question. Perhaps the owners should reconsider whether they want to run a hotel or an event venue. The two obviously don't work well together – even if you look at the other reviews. The amenities were practically nonexistent. The minibar was empty; there were no notes, pens, or tissues. It reminded me a lot of a well-known motel chain—except that I don't expect any extra amenities from a motel—which I certainly expect from a 4-star hotel. I really wonder how this hotel gets its 4 stars. The price is completely unreasonable, and the staff is unfriendly and resigned. The only positive thing about this hotel was that the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable.

Great rooftop bar with excellent drinks and a beautiful view – a real highlight, especially at sunset. The ambiance is stylish and upscale, with comfortable seating both inside and outside. The interior also feels luxurious, but sitting outside is a completely different experience because of the view. The price is absolutely reasonable – a little cheaper would have been nice, but it's perfectly acceptable for the location and the view. The service was mixed: One of the waiters was super friendly and attentive, the other was unfortunately a bit pushy and made a few inappropriate remarks – which was a bit of a shame. Reservations aren't available, so you should arrive as early as possible to get one of the better seats. The hotel's location isn't the best, but it's a minor consideration for such a beautiful place.

ATTENTION!! Just because the hotel is TOP doesn't mean it can't be EVEN BETTER, so let's get started: This is free business advice, as I'm a UN consultant myself, you're welcome: The following is still missing: 1 Box of tissues (e.g., from ACTION / DM for 99 cents) next to the bed (e.g., for a cold at night... a toilet paper roll isn't professional) 2 A plastic bag for the trash can (if you have organic waste) is also more convenient for the cleaning staff than having to completely clean the bin of organic waste every time (and is much faster). 3 Unfortunately, it was very cold at night. The ventilation function should be adjustable so that you can turn it up or down. 4 The bed in the single room is much too narrow. The competition does it much better. I almost fell off the bed. I'm single, and STILL I have a 160 x 200 cm mattress at home. You don't want to wake up on the floor in the morning, especially for people who shift a lot in their sleep. 5 Floor Carpet The floor carpet is more comfortable for guests and more efficient for cleaning staff. It keeps the tiles clean over the years and protects them from darkening due to street shoes. 6 Leaving the refrigerator on all the time is more efficient than turning it off and on again every time, which consumes a lot of energy. 7 The duvet was extremely thick for summer conditions, but sometimes it can't hurt, especially when it's cold in the room at night. Having an extra summer duvet in the room would still be an important alternative. 8 Pillow Unfortunately, the pillow was too thick and large for me. An additional thin and small pillowcase measuring 40 x 40 cm is an important alternative; then you don't have to lug your pillowcase around everywhere.

Unfortunately, I agree with the negative reviews regarding the staff. It's a mystery to me how such a beautiful hotel can afford to employ such incredibly unfriendly and incompetent reception staff. The employee was not only completely overwhelmed, but also disrespectful and condescending in his tone. As a guest, you feel more unwanted than welcome. A disgrace for a hotel of this caliber. Anyone who values ​​good service should avoid this hotel. Terrible!

Pros and Cons We spent two nights here as a family with our dog. We're used to paying upwards of €300 per night, but here it was just under €250. Pros: + Spacious and even wheelchair-accessible room + Breathtaking view from the roof terrace + Very friendly staff Rooms could be improved: 0: Rooftop may be booked for events, then no access for hotel guests 0: Underground parking is narrow and mostly duplex 0: Mattresses far too soft, air conditioning very loud Bummer: - Many stains on the walls and ceiling - You won't find any amenities you'd expect from 4* hotels here. No bathrobe, no slippers, no sewing kit, no umbrella, not even a notepad and pen, not to mention a kettle or Nespresso machine. - The white sausages at the €28 breakfast are a nice idea, but disappointing in terms of quality. Furthermore, there are no pretzels or wheat beer to accompany them. - You have the noise from the train and the airport, but the public transport connection initially consists of a walk towards the South Station.

The hotel was okay. Orange juice, horseradish, and Nutella were missing from breakfast, and they never replenished them. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy the sunset or a drink on the roof terrace, as we were only there for two nights, and there was a wedding one evening and a party with full reservations the other...that was a real shame. The hotel is located outside the city center and was difficult to reach by public transport at the time of our stay (due to construction and rail replacement services). The room was nice and the buffet was good.

My wife and I booked a rooftop room at the Blesky Frankfurt – with a whirlpool and the clear goal of simply relaxing. Instead, we're now sitting in the middle of a live concert, unwittingly. A live band is playing right next to our room on the roof – so incredibly loud that the walls are shaking and the room is vibrating. I was aware that there's a restaurant bar on the roof – but to me, a restaurant bar might mean a bit of music or background noise, but certainly not the volume of a concert right next to the room. You have to tell guests about that beforehand. Period. When I asked the receptionist, all I got was a shrug and the comment: "It's just a restaurant bar." That's not an explanation, that's an excuse. Anyone who sells a hotel room in this price range but conceals the fact that you're also an unwilling guest at a live performance is engaging in sheer deception. Zero relaxation. Zero consideration. For what I paid, this is a real joke – but unfortunately not one I can laugh at. I expect compensation. And I can only strongly advise anyone looking for even the slightest bit of peace and quiet not to book here.

A very nice hotel with its own underground parking. There are plenty of other parking spaces available. Excellent service; everyone was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant on the 6th floor offers a fantastic view. The extensive breakfast buffet was simply fantastic. We would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The staff was consistently unfriendly and seemed completely overwhelmed and incompetent. Questions or requests were either rude or ignored. The room was also extremely noisy – both from street noise and thin walls, so you could hear every sound from neighboring rooms. Relaxation was almost impossible. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel and would definitely not book it again.

Top hotel: nice service, clean, nice rooms. A better connection to public transport would be desirable. The restaurant is comparatively very expensive and the portions are also very small, so we were disappointed and unfortunately very hungry after the meal.

For a 4-star hotel, the room furnishings and amenities are very basic. A bit too much like a highway motel.

We spent a weekend at this hotel – the short trip was a gift – and overall had a pleasant time. Location: The hotel is conveniently located with good public transport connections. The city center is about a 40-minute walk away, making it a great place for a stroll. Room: Our standard room was quite small, but clean and functionally furnished. Restaurant & Rooftop Bar: The hotel has a restaurant and a rooftop bar, which we didn't try. If you want to eat there, it's best to make a reservation, as they seem to be quite busy. Service: The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Noise Level: The hotel is quite noisy in places, and the nearby train tracks might bother sensitive sleepers. It didn't bother us, but anyone sensitive to noise should be aware of this. Parking: There is a parking garage for an additional fee, but we didn't use it. We were lucky and were able to find a parking space right in front of the hotel. Conclusion: A good city hotel for a short stay with a good location and friendly service. Those looking for a quiet hotel might want to look elsewhere, but for a city trip, it's a solid choice.

Since this is the second time this has happened, I would kindly advise everyone not to book the suite with sauna and whirlpool. We've done it for the second time now and probably never again. Last year, we booked in December, so the whirlpool was supposedly freshly filled. That's all great, but not when the whirlpool takes 24 hours to reach a temperature suitable for winter use. The whirlpool is outside, mind you. Last time, however, we had a very good employee who offered us the opportunity to book the small suite next time and get the large one. Nice, right? Well, it wasn't possible in February on Valentine's Day, but since we thought the suite itself was fantastic, we wanted to give it another chance. And well, what can I say? The whirlpool was definitely not usable outside again at 27 degrees Celsius in the depths of winter. This time, an unfriendly employee came along and said in an rude manner that he couldn't change anything. No partial refund. I couldn't use a suite that now costs around €500 a night, half of what you pay for. So, as nice as the suite and the view may be, it's not something you'd use in the winter. This aspect definitely lowers the price/performance ratio. Okay, the first time, nothing said. Staff were friendly, but then the same thing happened again the second time. Rude and brazen.

The building's old structure is still clearly visible from the outside and in details like radiators and doors. The rooms, lobby, and rooftop bar are very modern. The view from the bar of Frankfurt's banking district is excellent, especially after dark. The breakfast buffet is good, but very overpriced. The area is rather mediocre, so maybe don't look around too much when arriving or departing.

But still possible with public transportation. Parking was difficult and we end up did street parking. It would be really nice if the parking is free for the guests.

We slept in the hotel one night so that we could get to the airport quickly in the morning. The room was modernly furnished, but with a large column in the middle of the bed. A bit inconvenient. The bathroom was large and had a nice walk-in shower. The additional costs are unpleasant. €4 bed tax. 17€ for the underground car park. Large cars hardly fit in the underground car park, the parking spaces are super narrow and on ramps that can be tilted. So you have to drive extremely steeply uphill or downhill - stupid if you have a lowered or longer car. The scratches on the floor at the threshold tell enough.

Günstigstes Gericht ein Hamburger mit Pommes für €27,-. Zwiebelrostbraten für €36,- sind 5-6 Scheibchen, auf den Punkt gebrsten bzw gegart. Nur blöd, wenn man nach der „Hauptspeise“ noch hunger hat. Service super aufmerksam. Aber insgesamt einfach viel zu teuer für das was einem geboten wird und an Auswahl hat.

Was a good stay at the hotel. Nice rooms. Good beds. Small defects: Not entirely clean if you look closely. No “good morning” but “room number”. Quiet room requested, but the rooftop bar was clearly audible. Dirt (dirt) in front of the elevator door opposite the front desk just stayed there and the guests all got in there.

We were there for our early christmas party brunch a week ago. Great Brunch, taste delicous and friendly staff.

The loft is tasteful. There is a double bed, sofa bed, dining table, wardrobe and refrigerator. The sofa bed is uncomfortable and the refrigerator is too small. The TV is easy to use. The bathroom is spacious. The apartment is bright and the view is beautiful. The whirlpool is a great highlight and the bathrobes are provided. The noises from the bar on the same floor are very loud.

We stayed at this hotel with family one night before our flight. An excellent hotel for this price! Everything was clean and tidy, the reception was friendly. The room was equipped as standard, and a baby cot was provided upon request. The location is excellent, there are lots of nice cafes and restaurants nearby and you can quickly get to the city center on foot or by public transport. The connection to the airport is also excellent! There are buses nearby that go directly to the airport - you can get there in 20 minutes. The only thing I didn't like was the deposit that needs to be paid upon check-in. I find this approach unpleasant in a 4-star hotel. Also, upon check-out, the deposit is returned immediately without checking the room - then what's the point of that?

Light and shadow. The rooms are modernly furnished and clean. However, the towels were missing. Stupid when you get out of the shower...The rolls at breakfast are microscopic, I've never seen anything like that. The parking garage is a nightmare. You park on height-adjustable ramps and getting in and out is a horror. The staff is nice and friendly, but you have to do the check-in yourself. It takes a long time and is complicated.

Beautiful hotel that offers a very special extra with its roof terrace. We were incredibly lucky to have arrived after an overnight flight and to be able to experience a morning with breakfast and an evening including dinner here - and in wonderful weather. The view of Frankfurt from up here is truly breathtaking. The rooms are compact but comfortably furnished. We slept excellently because the beds are also suitable for taller people. Good mattresses! As far as the location is concerned, you are well accommodated here: with advice from the extremely friendly receptionist Taifun, we walked along the Schweizer Straße to the Main and the Römer and got to know Alt-Sachsenhausen better, certainly one of the most beautiful sides of Frankfurt. Our experience: Every hotel offers the traveler new perspectives on a city. Which brings us back to the roof terrace: you won't quickly forget a breakfast you've had here. Everything on offer here is formidable (except for the rolls). The prices are high, but not excessive given the fantastic location. We experienced a completely different atmosphere in the same place in the evening. Over a wonderful dinner we enjoyed the sunset with a zeppelin floating by while listening to light lounge music. The food was of a high standard: there was sea bass, grass-fed beef and burgers, all extremely tasty. The “supervising” hospitality is also very praiseworthy! There is only one thing to criticize about this hotel and that is the underground car park. No problem for me as the owner of an aging small car, but this is not suitable for SUVs at all.

In itself a nice hotel to stay for a while. Unfortunately, the rooms are very noisy to the hallway and the prices in the restaurant are steep. Breakfast is okay, but nothing more. It is better not to use the parking garage with a long or large car. It is questionable whether deliveries have to be forced through the lobby. The room quickly becomes full and loud and people jostle with each other or wait forever for the elevator.

Blasky hotel is beautiful. Roof top restaurant and bar has great views, excellent food, expensive but worth it. There is no coffee or tea in the rooms. Don't believe the front desk. You can go up to the restaurant and get coffee only without buying the whole breakfast. There is an Aldi right next door. The location was great for us near family. We will be returning. There is a train track right next door and it was loud with the windows open.

On the positive side: Rooms are modern, room service is very good, the free welcome drink that can be redeemed freely in the bar & the offer of a free drink in return for foregoing room cleaning is a nice idea. Well-equipped bar with a good selection of cocktails! The waitresses could be a little more attentive, which resulted in shorter waiting times - that's okay. The breakfast buffet is nice and is regularly replenished. Had asked in advance for vegan components. There was a bit of exaggeration about them - they were very manageable. Parking spaces are available in an underground car park on double parking spaces, but only up to a height of 1.90m. The location is wonderful for reaching Frankfurt city center on foot. Despite the train line in front of the front door and the location in the flight path, the rooms are very quiet when the windows are closed. We didn't test the restaurant. All in all, in terms of value for money, a very good option for your next visit to Frankfurt!

Actually a nice hotel, clean rooms, nice staff. BUT breakfast on Saturday only from 8 a.m. - without communicating this beforehand, even though breakfast was included. At least we were credited with breakfast. You can't get coffee or tea any earlier either. Tourist tax, parking, deposit, check in early (€25 even though room is available)…. Comes on top of that. Otherwise really friendly staff and clean rooms with comfortable beds.

Ein wunderbarer Abend in einem wunderbaren Ambiente ( der Blick auf die beleuchtet Skyline ist auch für einen Frankfurter unvergesslich) ein hervorragendes Essen, ein sehr aufmerksamer und herzlicher Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Es war ein rundum gelungener Abend. Tolles Ambiente mit schöner Aussicht

Wir wollten die uns empfohlene Bar besuchen und sind Samstag extra von der Innenstadt mit dem Bus hingefahren. Vorher haben wir die Homepage und Insta geprüft. Kein Hinweis darauf, dass die Bar wegen einer Feier geschlossen ist. Sehr ärgerlich, vor allem, weil in dem Wohngebiet sonst nichts ist. Wenn man schon im Netz vertreten ist, sollte man die Informationen aktuell halten.

Schönes Ambiente netter Service das Essen ist gut aber für den Preis leider etwas zu Einfallslos.

Absolute disaster. The employees have no idea and are absolutely overwhelmed. Employee A communicates something that employee B revises a few hours later. When I checked out, they wanted to give me the cash deposit from another guest - I had never paid a deposit. Some of the rooms are pretty shabby and a lot of things are broken. Absolutely not recommended.

For a 4-star hotel, just really bad service. People were friendly, but that was all. I had to do the check-in myself. Then one machine is enough for me. There isn't even coffee in the afternoon. However, there is no information about the possibility of getting something to drink. I had to pay a deposit. Wonder what for. The minibar was empty anyway and when I checked out I received my deposit back without checking. The room itself was cramped and didn't even have a wardrobe. There weren't even any bathroom supplies. A 2* B&B hotel does not have smaller rooms! I only pay half...

Price-performance ok. In my opinion, the prices are not justified during trade fair times given the train line that runs right past the hotel. Service nice. Rooftop bar is nice with very nice service.
