Good food but the service is "the best!" Greeted sincerely and our needs were taken care of.

Really good food. The restraunt is very american and can give you the American breakfast fix you are looking for. The prices are not terrible. You may need a reservation, so just message them on Facebook. The chicken and waffle sandwich is on point. The breakfast skillet is really good. Be advised that you want hashbrowns. The home fries are not what you think and are different. There hashbrowns that Americans know are home fries.

Best French toast in Germany, everything extremely tasty, good portions, good price-performance ratio, very friendly. To recommend!

Definitely super annoyed, please let the customer know it’s up to AT LEAST AN HOUR WAIT TIME FOR FOOD. Even for Togo orders. I was told 35 mins, when I got there and she said 15 more minutes, which is fine. I waited the 15 and came back and was told there’s only one person working back there,still waited an additional 10 minutes. I think people wouldn’t be as upset if there was communication beforehand. Maybe when I called the first time.

Unreal wait times. Food is decent if you don’t mind waiting forever to get it. Gave it a second chance and was the same, won’t go back.

Aside from the breakfast being absolutely delicious, the woman who took our order is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Her persona alone will make your day. Completely understand why they’re always so busy!

I have been here twice now and enjoyed my food very much both times. The staff is very friendly and the pricing is totally fair, so I highly recommend The Alamo. ☺️

The food was really flavorful and full of spice, something that is often lacking from other Mexican cuisine in the area. The prices were fair considering the major spike in recent inflation. I waited over 45 minutes for my food which I thought was a bit excessive for a simple dish. The building is small so the noise really becomes overwhelming after a while (not the restaurant’s fault, but rather the very loud patrons). There is also this awful chime that continuously rings from behind the counter and I left with a headache. Overall, it was very good but I would recommend taking your food to go if you don’t care for crowded dining rooms and excessive noise.

Waited for 25 mins for our order to be taken which never happened and another customer even had to tell her “hey they were here first”. The food here is usually good specifically the McGriddles but the service has always been an issue and frankly just over it. The wait staff doesn’t prioritize taking orders and there seems to be absolutely 0 understanding on business operations as a whole. The only reason businesses around here can operate this way is because they have no competitors in this area. They need to do better.

First visit and overall good place for breakfast. Service was quick and atmosphere cozy. Eggs Bendict presentation and overall taste left something to be desired, however I'd give it another go.

We made reservations there for a Sunday morning. The place was full, but we were seated immediately. After a few minutes, they come to take our order. Drinks were brought out rather quickly, which was all fine. We sat there for an hour waiting for our food, which never came. I got up to ask when our food would be coming, and they said it would be another 5-10 minutes, so it is obvious that they had not even started to make it yet. My coffee was cold as well. Eggs only take a couple of minutes to make, so I don't see how it can be so slow. The place only seats about 50 people, max, if that, and I saw at least 3 people in the kitchen. Very disorganized for a restaurant. The table next to us had the same issues.

We sadly did not have the best experience here. We went in the middle of the week, in the morning, and there were only 5 other people in the restaurant. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches and two bottles of water, thinking it would be quick, and it took over 40 minutes for our sandwiches to come out. The sandwiches weren’t very good (soggy) and the hash browns were frozen potato cubes with some spice on top. Very friendly staff, however extremely slow service and disappointing food.

Food is great, but that doesn’t matter if you can never even get it in the first place. Today was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I live right down the street from this place, so my wife and I typically like to place a pickup order to enjoy in the comfort of our home. Business hours for The Alamo Eggcited are advertised as 0800-1500 on Saturdays. Today is Saturday. I placed my pickup order at 10:44, it was accepted by the restaurant shortly thereafter, and I was notified it would be ready for pickup in 65 minutes. Absolutely fine, I don’t mind waiting. I walk over to the restaurant 5 minutes before my order should be ready. When I walk in, I’m informed that their kitchen has closed and my order “just didn’t make it through.” This is completely unacceptable. And the sad thing is, I’ve had similar experiences with this place multiple times. If your kitchen is going to close early on a regular basis, change your advertised business hours. If you are short staffed, alter the services you offer to fit your capabilities. And most importantly (for me right now, at least), if your kitchen is not going to prepare an order that you have already accepted— CALL THE CUSTOMER TO NOTIFY THEM. You had my number. It was a required field on the order form. Terrible service. Terrible management. False advertisement. I will not attempt to eat here again.

Good breakfast place, wish the place was bigger because it does get packed on the weekends! Parking can be tough if you go during peak hours.

We loved it! We had a veggie scram, huevos rancheros, and the french toast; all of them were delicious! The staff is great and the lady at the counter is the sweetest person everr! 100/10 recommend this place and we will certainly be back to try more!

This place is absolutely amazing. As someone who loves breakfast, this is the only place to go in the KMCC area. The chicken and waffle sandwich is not listed below, but it is a recommendation as well.

Food, staff, and atmosphere was great. This is a Tex Mex breakfast/brunch/lunch restaurant. This is a family owned restaurant and you can tell they really care. I’ll definitely be coming back. Ordered 4 tacos with all different meats and they were much bigger than I expected, could only eat 3.

Für Ei-Liebhaber ein Besuch wert. Wie der Name schon suggeriert, dreht sich alles um das Ei. Das Essen war lecker, beinhaltet aber unsere Meinung nach zu viel konvenienz Produkte. Der Service ist freundlich und zuvorkommend, leider sprechen die Damen nur englisch, was etwas kompliziert werden kann , wenn man der Sprache nicht mächtig ist. Getränke Selbstbeteiligung und zahlen am Tresen, suggerieren ein Fastfood Charakter. Es wurde versucht das Beste aus den Räumlichkeiten zu machen und ein gemütliches Frühstück Restaurant im mexikanischen Stil zu generieren, was leider nicht ganz gelingt. Im großen und ganzen ist das Preis Leistungsverhältnis OK.

Absolutely enjoyed the American style breakfast. The breakfast tacos I had were just amazing. The potatoes in it had the right crisp to it without asking for them well done, like I usually do.

Waren zum Brunch mit der Familie hier. Das Essen war top und so amerikanisch wie man es sich erhofft hatte. Direkt bei der Begrüßung war einem klar, dass hier sehr herzliche Menschen arbeiten. Zum Geburtstag unserer Mutter gab es auch noch eine richtig Nette Geste, die ich so noch nicht erlebt habe. Alles in allem wirklich 5 Sterne!

Wurden von der Theke aus laut mitgeteilt das kein Platz frei war. War ein wenig enttäuscht das man nicht einmal begrüßt wurde und sich nicht einmal die Mühe macht zum Eingang/Rezeption geht um dies mitzuteilen.

Being surrounded by a lot of hype involving this restaurant, I had to come try it; just to be frustrated. Fortunately got seated right away, and the server got our initial order. We waited an hour and fifteen minutes for our food. During the wait, our server did not check on our table. We asked where our food was, and was told it would be an additional 15 minutes. When we got our food, the food was ok. Over-poached eggs and the omelette just was not that good. Overall, it was NOT worth the hour and fifteen minute wait.

In places that most breakfast options are on a fine French or German bread. This place does it American style. The chef is an xpat who loved it here so much he stayed and began cooking his love. Tex-Mex and as a Texan I can appreciate that to the fullest. Also as a lover of breakfast I can always get on board with a good skillet. Everything came exactly as ordered and quickly. I will def be back to try other stuff as well.

Wonderful food and service. American ran and American Texmex flavorful food. A cozy atmosphere that reminds you of home. Eggs Benedict?Smothered with cheese and onions hash browns? Yes please!!🤩 Taco bowls! Always get the shell! So so good! Verde and mild salsa amazing!

Always great food from this place for a really good breakfast menu. Expect a bit of a wait, this place is really popular and quality food takes time to make. Get a reservation or order online.

The food is always good and the service is good too once you’re seated. But I always feel ignored when I walk up to the counter. It takes them a while to acknowledge you.

We went for the Mexican food. Raised in Texas, we like good TEX-MEX so we tried it. The photos on the menu show a nice looking breakfast display. We will try that next time. As for the Mexican food, it was good, nice portions too and a good price. When you order you can chose your multiple toppings on your enchiladas. Mine was served in a rectangular dish, not a plate, with my 3 enchiladas and beans plus ground beef rolled into the flour tortillas. The sauce was good with the right amount of spice. I would give it a B overall. My wife had 3 flour tortillas, nice portions and tasty. They get a B+. I would say they are comparable or better than 2 of the 4 Mex food restaurants in the Einsiedlerhof area although the menu selection is limited. They offer 3 beers but don't list the price or size on the menu. My 0.33 liter bottle of Mexican Modelo was €3.50. You have to ask for a glass. Bitburger beer was on the menu but they did not have it. Service was good and friendly. The clean restaurant seats about 40, tables and booths. Windows face the street making the place a little bright. Not much on Gemütlichkeit. Wall decorations were on-going even though the place has been opened over a year. They serve the breakfast and lunch crowd, no dinner. Good free parking in front. No Mexican music but a mixed bag of American music including rap which we do not care for. We will go back! The eggs Benedict photo on the menu looked inviting.

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time about a week ago and have already been back for a second time. It is hands down some of the best breakfast food we have ever had. He loves the breakfast burrito and I have tried the breakfast skillet and eggs benedict and it is all outstanding. On top of the awesome food, the staff is also extremely friendly and kind.

Finally a restaurant where you can order an American breakfast. I had the S.O.S which is 3 biscuits with sausage gravy and 2 Sunnyside up eggs. The food tasted great and the owner of the restaurant was extremely professional while checking on us multiple times to make sure everything was okay. The only downside is it takes a long time to get your food as we waiting almost 30 minutes to get our food even though there were only 2 other people in the restaurant. Either way, I will be back!
