Thang Long in Berlin

Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. The service was extremely slow I waited at the counter for about 10 minutes without being noticed while the staff behind the counter was busy on their cell phones. The taste of the food was okay and appropriate for the price. However, the overall experience was very negative. A rat 😀 that ran out of the kitchen left a lasting and extremely unpleasant impression. Hygiene and attention should urgently be improved here.

Absolutely disappointing. The food was disgusting and tasted rancid. You could tell immediately that the dishes had just been heated up in the microwave. The soup seemed watery and diluted, as if it had simply been mixed with water. Definitely not recommended.

We ordered food yesterday, and after waiting for over two hours, it finally arrived. It tasted so horrible that the sushi was already stale; as soon as you tried to pick it up, it fell apart. Diarrhea and vomiting from the food came with it. It's outrageous.

It was much better than I expected. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. Of course, the atmosphere isn't particularly exciting, but what's great in a shopping center? The food has to be good, and this is it.

For 10 years, if not longer, I've been eating or picking up food here regularly. Back then, they still served vegetarian egg rice for €3.50 with plenty of vegetables. I was happy with the increase to €4.50, or €5 for a "side dish." After the coronavirus pandemic, it was almost €8. Now, after the renovation and name change, the price is €10 for a small bowl of vegetarian egg rice, where you have to search for the egg and the actual vegetables, like sprouts, carrots, snow peas, etc., but they now have a lot of bok choy and, more recently, hard, bland-tasting broad beans instead of snow peas, as a filler. I think it's a shame because with the price level and the new "quality," they're losing customers. The location is difficult because the place has more vacant spaces than shops. This snack bar used to be busy, though, so all the tables were always occupied. You can't compensate for the lack of customers with massive price increases, because otherwise the last few will stay away. And honestly, if I add another €4 to the €10, I can get a full meal at the Croatian restaurant around the corner, with rice, meat, fries, salad, and a shot of schnapps afterward.
