Very friendly and very satisfied

Small Vietnamese restaurant in Lübeck's old town. Very centrally located. Service quick and friendly. The Pho bo was very tasty and plentiful. Other menus looked very inviting - from a distance. Everything freshly prepared! There are also many homemade lemonades and other drinks. Will definitely come again!!! Went there to eat there for the 4th time on March 8th especially from Hamburg. Reservations make sense, but the service tries to make room somehow. Today 12.01: Pho and fried noodles again... 😄

Thana-Asia - we visited this restaurant during a winter walk, very tasty soup with beef (Phở bò with beef) and (Beef fried with spicy dark sauce and fresh vegetables, served with rice), winter tea. Very nice stylish interior of the restaurant. I recommend.

First time visiting Lupeck and we found this wonderful Vietnamese restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff were very friendly and kind. We got chatting a little bit and the manager gifted me and my wife a box of chocolate before we left. Thank you so much!!!

Basically a great restaurant and after a warm welcome from the owner we immediately felt at home. However, this changed very quickly when the service staff changed, as they were so impatient and unfriendly that things changed quickly. The quality of the food is great, but the portion size is very economical and the prices for the starters are clearly too high for what you get. We would have liked to leave a tip too, but we had to clear our table so quickly, according to the motto "" Chop-Chop, hurry up!! "" so that was no longer possible.

We ate some great Vietnamese food here. The ingredients were super fresh and simply excellent in terms of appearance and taste. The staff was a bit tense when the restaurant was full, but always friendly and attentive. Four of us ate there and can fully recommend the restaurant!!!

We've been coming here for years when we've been in town. We used to be happy about the friendly service and the good food. We used to give it 5 stars for that. Were in town again today and in the restaurant. Unfortunately the experience was subterranean. After 40 minutes our drinks finally arrived, after 50 minutes our starter, after 70 minutes our main course, unfortunately also wrong. The service was completely uncoordinated, unfriendly and apparently unable to give the order to the kitchen correctly. Wontons were a disgrace - just dough, hardly any filling. Main course was ok. That was probably our last visit - it's actually a shame.

Very good authentic Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of the city. We were lucky and got the table by the window. The service was very nice and attentive. The food came quickly, hot and was delicious. The portions were large and the prices were fair. With 2 main courses, a wine and a large Alster we came to €40.40. We'd love to come back

The food is very good. The service is more than bad. The operation, no sound when cashing out. Rather nice snack bar in terms of atmosphere. Very unfriendly and annoyed staff. The food, on the other hand, is really very good 👍. If you can only eat and ignore the rest, we would recommend a visit. If you want to be noticed and want a nice smile and condition, you shouldn't go here anymore.

Very healthy, tasty and, unlike other restaurants (that claim they are authentic), pretty authentic Vietnamese food. Lots of choice and the price-performance ratio is also very good.

Lunch until 5 p.m., very friendly staff, dishes were prepared quickly and tasted good. My parents are very critical of eating out and their stomachs react hypersensitively to “bad” food. Food for lunch was a bit small, but so far okay. However, if you reorder a small bowl of rice you have to pay €3. The rice in the dish was eaten with 2-3 forks (like when I ordered it again. Sweet and sour soup as a starter was, as in all Asian shops, delicious. Service friendly.

Very tasty food and very courteous staff! Everything was done to ensure that everyone felt comfortable at the table. Since it was a birthday party, there was free dessert for the table and a small gift for the birthday child. Very nice! We went home with full bellies and good moods.

Inconspicuous Vietnamese restaurant, but it's exactly what you go to a restaurant for, the food. The dishes are great. Top in terms of taste and spice. We'll come back next time we're in Lübeck.

The food was super delicious and tastefully prepared. The large selection of drinks also impressed us and scored points. The atmosphere is cozy. We had tofu in rice flakes and duck in peanut sauce with rice. The Cherry Blossom iced tea and the Kung Fu Panda are recommended. Attention, cash payment only.

We were very positively surprised! What looks like a slightly better snack bar from the outside turned out to be a cozy little restaurant inside. We were served very friendly and very quickly. The menu is extensive and leaves nothing to be desired. The food was delicious, served in a sophisticated way and the prices were honest and fair. We are certain that we will eat at Thana Asia again the next time we visit Lübeck! A really lovingly run restaurant that is worth every visit.

Super delicious food, with a focus on Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, perfectly prepared. The operation is quick and reliable, only the payment process has to be initiated several times. Well, better than waiting for food... Interior very pleasant, easy to stay there. It doesn't look like it from the outside, but it's really classy!

We came here drawn by the positive review. However the food isn’t even close to what we had in other places. The worst is - I don’t know what’s wrong with the waitress today - she’s been super impatient with us and served us with a shitty face. I’ve never ever had such a bad serve before. We will not return and will ask all our friends not to as well.

I wish there was no star option, the service was awful, the waitress was respectloss, as we arrived she treated us really bad then as we wanted to order we just asked if there is vegetarian summer rolls and she just left us and almost kicked us out, so we left without ordering anything, I have never experienced such bad service in my life 👎👎👎

Very nice and small restaurant. Unfortunately it's not entirely original Vietnamese cuisine, but that's probably due to the adaptation to the tastes of German/European guests. The service is very good and courteous. When it comes to drinks, it's better to choose water, soft drinks or beer. The "cocktails" are not recommended. The location is definitely worth a visit.

Totally recommended! When I lived nearby, I ate there almost every day after work. I felt welcome every time. The staff is always friendly, the food is very tasty. All in all, simply highly recommended. My favorite dish was/is the Phở Bo. I haven't found a comparable Phở since then. For me it's a must when I'm home. I hope this store stays around for a very long time. <3

My wife and I had a meal here very recently. Despite reading a few negative reviews, we were very happy with our meal. Straight away, we were given an English translated menu by the waiter who, for the record also spoke very good English. Our food was served up nice and hot and very tasty. We will be visiting Lubeck again in around 6 months' time and will certainly be seeking out this gem once more. I have marked the atmosphere down a star, maybe a little unfairly as it was by no means empty but there was reportedly a large football tournament being hosted by Germany.

I was here spontaneously for lunch. Service was correct and quick, the ladies at reception could perhaps smile, but good. Lunch menu was very tasty and ready quickly. In my opinion the drinks are overpriced, but otherwise a very positive impression. I would definitely go there again.

We received a warm welcome, the service was exceptionally good and friendly and the food was phenomenal. Everything is freshly prepared and tastes really fantastic. The restaurant and toilets are very clean and modern.

Hello, I had dinner here with a friend yesterday after a city tour and a visit to the cathedral. I had fried vermicelli with chicken, beef and scampi. My friend had a salad with various ingredients. Both dishes were really delicious. A variety of aromas, well seasoned and seasoned. There is a really great red sauce/paste on the table that you can use to add a little more spiciness. Four of us were at Thana's in the evening with our dog. We ate twice crispy chicken with different sauces and rice, crispy duck with fried noodles and fried noodles with vegetables. The food was delicious and the sesame chicken was very crispy! The homemade ginger lemonade was also great! We would be happy to visit this restaurant again!

Our food was mistakenly served to the next table, when they noticed this it was quickly brought to the kitchen and then served to us. The chicken was very dry and the sesame chicken was breaded far too thickly. Even though we ordered spicy, everything tasted way too bland. Service unfriendly & confused

The food was reasonably priced, little but tasty. The ingredients were fresh and appropriately spicy. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the service was sometimes unfriendly. Despite many free seats, the lady who was responsible for serving, instead of communicating with us, simply threw a metal sign or reservation sign on the table in front of our faces. It could be that she was having a bad day, but it was still an unpleasant experience. On the other hand, the gentleman who was responsible for taking the order was friendly. I hope other guests have better experiences there.

I was looking forward to it after reading the Korean review, but it was so boring~~~ Even though it is a rich soup, it is not greasy and is perfect as a spicy hangover. Haha I want to eat it again♥︎

ATTENTION: CASH ONLY! We missed the sign initially when we came into the restaurant. Usually, I don’t visit restaurants that only accept cash. Mostly because I don’t carry any cash, but luckily this time around had a few notes left. About the food, it’s pretty good and there’s no complaints here. However, when I asked for hoisin sauce they said they don’t have any, which is a first to me in a Vietnamese restaurant… The woman also looked at me in a very weird way when I asked for it, which might not be authentic Vietnamese from me, but that’s just how I prefer my soup and I would really have liked to have some hoisin sauce 🤷‍♂️ 4 stars because the food was actually pretty good, but I wouldn’t come again due to the aforementioned .

I paid €11.90 for this dish at lunch. It was delicious, unfortunately my request for extra spicy couldn't be fulfilled so I had to add more seasoning. Then it was really good 😊. It's clean and the toilets are ok too. All in all, I'll stop by again for lunch!🥳

Best Vietnamese restaurant in Lübeck, love the Pho soup with tofu <3

In Ruiiiiibaek, I only go to this pho restaurant (personally, it’s better than Buda Bowl) The first time I went, I was craving chicken rice noodles, so I ordered pho and stayed, but I kept thinking about it, so I went back the next day. I don't know what it is, but it's addictive. I tried drinking that spring roll while standing on the verge of starvation, and it was so so so. Oh, what a fucking good combination, if you order that Fanta and Pobo, it's just sweet and salty, so I eat the last of the soup, ah, to clear my mouth, I drink a glass of Fanta and finish eating the soup, then do the dishes. There may be a lot of pho soup restaurants that taste better, but this one is the best. If you ask for more Cheongyang peppers (which are really spicy) and eat them, you end up with hangovers. Oh, and the owner is kind. If you want rice noodles, ㄱ ㄱ Takeout is not recommended

The head of staff or owner of the establishment seems to lack sympathy. I don't know if it was my hunch, but that day I was there it seemed as if I was going to beg for something. When you visit, what you least expect is kindness and a cordial greeting, at least when ordering... luckily that day I ordered something light and a soup that was nothing authentic to the restaurant. But it was the first and last time I visited them.. and I wouldn't recommend it..

We were here with 6 people and were served well and quickly. The food tasted good and the lemonades were also great. All in all a successful evening. For the toilets you have to go down stairs into the basement. The toilets could be nicer - but you go there to eat and not for other things.

We spontaneously got a table for four people. The service was very friendly and attentive. All four dishes were beautifully presented and very tasty. I can particularly recommend the ginger-lime lemonade and the tofu dish 134 with lemongrass.

Went to this restaurant for the first time today for lunch (lunch menu). We were very pleasantly surprised. Great value for money. The taste was very good and the portions were totally sufficient and everything was very fresh. Service friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back and would be happy to give it five stars. The 2nd and 3rd visits were no longer so convincing and we went elsewhere for the time being. 🤷

The food is very delicious, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Friendliness is conspicuous by its absence in this establishment and to top it off they charge us for 3 glasses of water at €13.5, and they were glasses, without a bottle, we thought it was from the tap. I don't understand why it's more expensive than a beer.

Wir waren zu Dritt hier essen, war alles bestens. Nette Bedienung, alles sauber und schmackhaftes Essen. Wir können es weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder hierher.

Essen war in Ordnung. Keine besondere Geschmackserlebnisse. Fleischform in der traditionellen Suppe sah "künstli h" aus? Karte sehr umfangreich, Getränke total übertrieben teuer!

Офіціантка була досить непривітною, замість привітання показала пальцем, куди мені сідати. Коли я допила коктейль, я не бачила її в залі. Вона говорила по телефону і мені довелось підійти на бар і дочекатись, пока вона договорить по відео-зв’язку і мене розрахує. Це було голосно і деякі з клієнтів чули розмову. В них неможливо розраховуватись карткою. Людей багато в обідній час, мабуть їжа смачна. Я пила молочний коктейль і він був смачний (6,5 євро). Розташування хороше.

Fantastisk mad, og en god start og velkomst, da vi var 6 personer og der var godt fyldt. Lidt om-rykning og bum, så var der et bord klar til os - herfra faldt serviceniveauet bare desværre. Da vi skal bestille går det åbenbart ikke hurtig nok for servitricen og der faldt en kommentar om, at hun havde altså også andre gæster at betjene. Da maden (endelig) kom efter min. 45 min ventetid, kunne det ophøje humøret lidt. Da vi vil afregne, får vi oplyst at det kun er kontant, hvilket de ikke gør OBS på udenpå døren, hvilket man godt kunne gøre OBS på. Så imens vi skraber sammen af kontanter, går hun igang med noget andet og har ikke tid til at færdig-betjene os. Derudover kommer den samme, mindre serviceminded servitrice og genner på os, fordi hun jo altså skal forbi og hun har travlt. Så jo, god mad - men det opvejer ikke servicen og vi kommer ikke til at spise der igen, hvis vi igen kommer til Lübeck.

Hallo ich war das erste Mal hier. Und es war tolles frisch gemachtes Essen. Ich empfinde es besser al beim Chinesen. Hier wird nicht alles mir Sauce ertränkt. Leider waren wir nur zu Besuch in Lübeck. Sonnst Würden wir öfter hier essen gehen. Die Preis Leistung ist super. Das Restaurant war voll. Mann muss etwas Zeit mitbringen aber es wird alles frisch zubereitet. Es lohnt sich. Macht weiter so.
