We (7 guests plus 1 dog) were warmly looked after at Than & Luc and water was immediately brought for our four-legged friend without being asked. The food was delicious, the service was very attentive and professional. We felt completely comfortable and will be happy to come back.

Very good restaurant in every respect: comfortably furnished, without frills and Asian kitsch. Great service, very friendly and attentive. Only two wines on the menu, but very good ones, excellent food and surprisingly low prices. Most main courses cost between 12 and 15 euros. Totally recommended. Look carefully when you arrive, as the entrance can easily be overlooked (which only makes the store even more attractive).

Great food with fresh ingredients at fair prices. Unfortunately only two wines on offer. No rosé and no red wine. Draft beer would be nice too.

We don't even know how to describe the service - incredibly loving, warm, accommodating and simply unique! Closely followed by the food, this restaurant is highly recommended! A big compliment to the boss and her crew. We'll definitely be back!

Now butter the fish. The restaurant has mostly positive reviews, but it's not clear to me why. 1. Dishes are not delivered, only collection is possible. 2. The dish you ordered (Bun nem) comes with ready-made spring rolls, which you can get in the metro, for example. All the same length, content and quality. The fish sauce is missing or I didn't notice the taste of it. Otherwise it's just slightly moist noodles with salad and the finished rolls. 3. The price. In fact, you just have to look around a little and you will quickly find a good and cheaper alternative in Schierstein. The monopoly of being the only Asian in Eltville is clearly being played out here and people are being asked to pay accordingly. You can get all of the ingredients shown at REWE or elsewhere without any problems and then do the math - no rocket science. Not only do they have high prices, but they have also reduced the number of spring rolls delivered, for example, as they did before Corona - but the store still seems to be doing extremely well. As we all know, tastes are different, try it out.

Very friendly service! Great food that was beautifully presented, fresh and delicious. We would go back at any time. There is one star less for the ambience; You could put a little more love in here. But that's really just my personal feeling. The take-away service is also great: since the portions are generous when you eat an appetizer, there is often something left over that was given to us very nicely packaged. Clear recommendation for this restaurant!

Our new favorite spot and the best, right around the corner. We found out about it by chance, but Than und Luc has now become one of our favorite restaurants. Whether to order and pick up or directly on site. The atmosphere is great, the staff is always friendly and authentic. The food is amazing, my recommendation, the peanut curry with crispy chicken. You can really tell that everything here is freshly and authentically prepared. In summer I can particularly recommend the inner courtyard. A nice little refuge that you wouldn't expect from the outside!

great taste. ready when stated for take away. only issue is one dish was supposed to be very spicy and it was not. I asked that my spicy dish be made not spicy and they didn't hat but I think they thought they should make both dishes not spicy which is not what I asked for.

There is this Vietnamese restaurant in picturesque Eltville am Rhein. The menu is initially clear, that's because almost every dish is available in various versions (fresh vegetables, chicken, beef, etc.) The ingredients are extremely fresh and very tasty. You should definitely try the tamarind soup, it is second to none. The ambience is rather unexpected as it appears to be an old wine bar. This is how Vietnam meets German oak and slug glass windows. The staff is friendly, the food is in the middle price segment.

For me and my wife, Than & Luc is one of the best restaurants in Eltville. Our whole family loves eating here. The service is exceptionally friendly, and the staff's smiles add to the pleasant atmosphere. The dishes are excellently prepared. The owner cooks personally and you can tell her passion for it. My wife comes from Vietnam herself and finds the dishes very authentic. We can fully recommend Than & Luc!

We were thrilled. The food was very, very tasty. Everything fresh and wonderfully seasoned. Upon request, the children's dishes were less seasoned. We also really enjoyed the homemade lemonades. We will definitely come back often!

War nach langer Zeit mal wieder im Than&Luc zum Mittagessen. Früher habe ich das Restaurant als eher teuer empfunden, das war jetzt nicht mehr so. Je 8 € für eine Vorspeise und Suppe empfand ich aufgrund der frischen hochwertigen Zutaten und der ordentlichen Portionen als durchaus angemessen. Es ist halt kein 08/15-Take-away-Gltuamat-Thai. Das Essen (Vorspeise: Süß-sauer mariniere Schweinerippchen) und die Suppe (Golden Power) waren super lecker und für mich hätte auch ein Gericht Gericht gereicht. Vorzugsweise die Suppe, weil diese mit ihren frischen Zutaten und den tollen Gewürzen wirklich die Lebensgeister weckt. Chef und Chefin habe ich nicht gesehen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam, hat mich allerdings als ersten Satz darauf hingewiesen, dass sie um 14 Uhr zur Mittagspause schließen. Das geht auch anders. Ansonsten wieder mal eine tolle Erfahrung und absolute Empfehlung! P.S.: In der Zeit als ich dort war haben viele Leute ihre Bestellung abgeholt. Das zweigleisige Konzept scheint also aufzugehen
