Very friendly service, a wonderful atmosphere, and excellent food. Despite requiring a reservation, we still managed to snag a table for three. All the food was very freshly prepared and deliciously presented. We'd be happy to go back.

I find it hard to understand the consistently positive reviews. The food is priced high, but the quantity is manageable and the taste is decent. The prices and portion sizes on the daily specials are unknown and weren't explained even when asked. Only cash or debit card payments are accepted; no Visa/MasterCard/Amex. To top it all off, the change was automatically kept as a tip and only given upon request.

I've been working on wind turbines for many years. For this, I regularly travel to rural regions in eastern Germany. Unfortunately, there are often restaurants here that close at 8 p.m. or only offer a limited menu. The Tetzelstuben is a very pleasant exception! The ambiance is very nice; the beer garden is located on the old city wall. The staff is very friendly, but most importantly, the food is consistently very good. The kitchen team is simply very good at cooking. I was able to enjoy the culinary arts at the Tetzelstuben for over a week. I was not disappointed once. The price-performance ratio is also good.

We were cycling through the Fläming region. We spent a very pleasant evening at the Teztelstuben in Jüterbog. The service was friendly and impeccable. The food was delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant. Keep up the good work...

We returned to the Tetzelstuben after many years. The ambiance was very nice and the staff friendly. Unfortunately, due to a system error, we had to wait almost an hour and 20 minutes for our food, and because they tried to correct the error, the fries were only just cooked through. We also expected an apology for the error or an offer of a discount, but none were forthcoming. On a positive note, they gave each of us a small olive oil.

We had a very good meal; the house itself is beautiful and cozy, with the Luther Oak tree in front. The five of us were very satisfied!

Highly recommended. Definitely try it and enjoy.

Wir waren mit Freunden 2 mal in den Tetzelstuben Abendessen. Die Speisekarte war sehr reichhaltig und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Uns hat es sehr lecker geschmeckt wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

As I entered and exited the restaurant, I noticed the full trays of empty glasses on the counter. This also carried over to the food. The service wasn't informed whether the pike perch was frozen or fresh. The fried potatoes got cold quickly, the fish was very watery, but the asparagus was so hot that it was probably warmed up in the microwave. Neither the service nor the kitchen are fit for the job. The quality of the food is enough for a snack, nothing more. Card payments only from 25 €. There are a lot of things wrong with this restaurant.

The cook still has to work on the seasoned meat (neither the consistency, the cut shape nor the taste met the specifications... (and certainly not the ragout). Otherwise the steak was pretty light but the fried potatoes were excellent.

Ich war schon oft da, aber jedesmal waren wir echt enttäuscht. Vor allem die Bedingung, mit mangelndem Respekt, der junge Herr sollte nicht in der Gastro arbeiten. Wir wurde jedesmal sitzen lassen, ist an uns vorbei gelaufen ohne jegliche Beachtung sowie unpassende Kommunikation!!!

The food and ambiance were outstanding. The service was friendly, but in my opinion a bit too snippy, and the drinks, which were also good, were a bit slow to arrive. All in all, definitely recommended!

Were there for the second time on March 15, 2025 and again an experience, a great atmosphere, super nice staff, always friendly and on the ball, the food was again very tasty, great selection from starters to dessert, the lemonades were a dream from lemon to blueberry pomegranate, everything was fresh 🍹 would love to come back more than 5 stars deserved 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 keep it up

We wanted to end the evening with a meal. The restaurant is really nice and the food was good too. Unfortunately, as soon as we entered, we noticed that there was a lot of smoking in the lower part of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the pungent smell reached us and became more and more extreme. The last time we had to endure this was before the smoking ban. Really ruined our evening. When I got home I was even asked which dive bar I came from. I had to wash everything. But the nicest thing was turning off the lights at our level, as a nice gesture of relief. But I would like to mention that the waiter was very nice. I have nothing against smokers, I just want to decide for myself not to have to smoke. So we have to look for another restaurant. Too bad

We became aware of the restaurant through previous positive reviews. When we got there we were warmly welcomed and shown to our place. We had a 3-course meal, starting with a delicate bruschetta and moving on to the main course, which consisted of a perfectly fried pork steak and fries with a small side salad. At the end there was a small dessert in the form of an apple strudel, which not only looked great on the plate, but also tasted good. We were very impressed by the quality of the food as well as the friendly and courteous service, so we will see each other again soon!

Ausgezeichnetes vegetarisches Essen, und zehr billig. Negativ war doch, dass man nicht mit Visa oder Mastercard bezahen konnte.

The steak au four is to die for. Buttery soft and enough Worchester sauce was included too! The service at the table was a bit light, but the restaurant was also very busy.

There were five of us in the restaurant in the evening... the food was very good... the service left a lot to be desired - the bottle was left unopened on the table - no opening, no pouring, parts of the plates were grabbed as soon as the cutlery was put down, no questions asked whether you liked it or wanted something else... We were there again on Saturday and I have to say. I can't understand the reviews. The food was great, the meat was right to the point, the service was friendly and the quantity was precisely measured so that you still feel good after eating it. I'd love to come back!😃

Cozy restaurant with poor quality food. The beef tenderloin was a disaster. Due to the lack of alternatives, many Jüterbogers eat here. The employees are underpaid and are not allowed to accept tips. Sorry, that doesn't work at all! The host smokes behind the counter. At this point you should consider whether you go out to eat here.

A feel-good evening that couldn't be more beautiful. It was my first time there, but definitely not the last time.

The food is very good, the service is very friendly, unfortunately it takes a long time to get new drinks, which is why it only has four stars.

We were relatively spontaneous but with a reservation we were warmly welcomed. The cards weren't too big and it went relatively quickly. The food was delicious and a small special request was happily fulfilled. When it got colder, there was a blanket so the ice also fit. We would love to come back, the terrace was beautifully designed and invites you to linger.

Ordered 4 meals, 3 meals came. The 4th meal came when everyone else was finished. NO GO!!!!!!!!!

Amazing food, great service and a really nice rose wine all at a great price, the ambience in the outdoor area was amazing, it felt like you were in a totally different place, will definitely be back very soon to try out something else on their great menu.

Had reserved a table for 5 people. First of all it took 15 to 20 minutes until we had something to drink. Since all the tables were occupied, that was still ok for us at that point. After 60 minutes, the staff noticed that we didn't have any food yet, they had forgotten about us!!! Now the food we ordered was no longer available. We had to make a decision. The starter still took a while to arrive and arrived after about 90 minutes. Something was forgotten again. During the main course, the last person didn't get their food until the rest of us had long since finished. Incidentally, a lot of things were wrong when ordering drinks. Our complaint on site was not responded to appropriately. We were fobbed off with a schnapps. The boss smiles everything away. SORRY, but that's not how customer service works. The food itself was mixed, some of it was quite good, but the seasoned meat was totally wrong. Overall, you can say, we won't see each other again. Nobody has to go through that.

Class restaurant, Unfortunately I didn't eat anything gladly again

Compared to the first visit, this time it was an absolute failure, I don't know if they have a different chef, but the food was terrible, we had rump steak with fried potatoes and chanterelles, which is actually how it was supposed to be. 23.00 euros, I'll send a photo with it. So the fried potatoes were in greasy, burnt potato crumbs, no slices at all. There were two pieces of chanterelles on display, but lots of onions bathed in fat and to top it off there was some salad with a terrible sour sauce. Just bad, the only thing you could eat was the meat. When we complained, there wasn't even an apology, even though we both gave the entire portion of fried potatoes back. There were also other guests who shared my opinion. So until the kitchen there changes we won't be eating there anymore, and I can't recommend it with a clear conscience. I'm sorry.

We were passing through and found this beautiful location in Jüterbog. The food was very good and the prices were reasonable, but rather cheap for the quality.

A great restaurant. We treated ourselves to lumberjack steak, penne with asparagus, homemade lemonade and spiced meat. Everything was super tasty. From what we saw on the other tables, everything looked very good and tasty. A clear recommendation!

We stopped by spontaneously and were allowed to sit on the beautiful and cozy terrace. The service was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the food very much. The spaghetti diabolo had a pleasant spiciness and the homemade lemonades (pomegranate and lime-mint) were very refreshing and tasty. If we're in the area again, we'll be happy to come back.

A really good location in Jüterbog. We always come here when we go skating in Fläming. Unique setting in a historic building with a historic name. The best thing to do is sit outside on the wonderful terrace, regardless of the weather. The service staff was very nice and quick. The lumberjack steak is tender and very pleasantly seasoned. For dessert, the chocolate soufflet was a must: hot and liquid, just as it should be. We are already looking forward to our next visit in July!

What's the point of ambience and service if the food isn't right and the hygiene in the kitchen is apparently poor. We were a couple and weren't at all enthusiastic about the dishes we ordered. But the worst thing was that we both had serious gastrointestinal problems afterwards, something like that doesn't work. NEVER THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN.

The price and performance are still right here! In direct comparison to other dining establishments near the market square, you get a decent portion in the Tetzelstuben, and not a half at the old price.

We went to the Tetzelstuben for the first time today (on recommendation) and would like to share our positive impression. Luckily we had reserved a table, but it would have been difficult to do so spontaneously as space is limited. We were served by a very friendly, engaging waiter. He tried very hard to ensure we had a nice stay. The food was plentiful and very tasty. Particularly noteworthy were the homemade lemonades, which were really delicious. We are more than satisfied and thank you for the hospitality. The journey from Berlin was worth it, we will definitely come back.
