Ich bewerte hier nur das gelieferte Essen. Im Restaurant waren wir nicht aber von einem Besuch würde ich nach der Bestellung auch Abstand nehmen. Wir hatten den gemischten Vorspeisenteller für 2, die Teheran Miniplatte sowie die Falafel mit Salat und Brot. Also der Salat bei den Falafeln war einfach lieblos daneben gelegt und extrem grob geschnitten. Das Brot kam in der Original Verpackung aus dem Supermarkt! Ca 0,5mm dick in der Form einen Spüllappens. Der Vorspeisenteller war für 25 Euro ein Witz. Fast die Hälfte bestand aus 2 Joghurt Dips. Die Teheran Miniplatte wird angeboten mit 4 Hähnchenfilets, 4 Lammfilets sowie 1 Hackspieß. Die 4 Filets waren jeweils 4 ca 2x2 cm große Filetstückchen. Der Hackspieß hatte eine gute Größe. Aber eine bessere Bezeichnung wären gewesen 1 Hähnchenspiess und ein Lammspiess. Das Fleisch war aber okay. Ein Großteil dieses Gerichtes bestand aus Reis. Gefühlt eine Portion für 3 Personen. Bei einem Preis von 63 Euro für 2 1/2 Gerichte war ich tatsächlich extrem enttäuscht. Ähnliche Gerichte bei anderen Anbietern waren da deutlich besser.

Das Essen war sehr gut und lecker. Auch der Tee hat mir sehr gut gefallen.

Das Essen war schlecht und es war weniger als erwartet, es lohnt sich nicht einmal, es zu probieren!

Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist insgesamt gut. Das Essen schmeckt auch gut, ist aber im Vergleich zu anderen iranischen Restaurants nicht von besonders hoher Qualität, und ich finde die Preise etwas hoch, aber ich fühle mich dort trotzdem wohl!

Ein schönes Restaurant mit freundlicher Atmosphäre und köstlichem Essen. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind ein großer Pluspunkt. Der Besitzer ist gastfreundlich und das Restaurant versprüht ein wunderschönes persisch-afghanisches Ambiente. Absolut empfehlenswert, um die Küche und Kultur kennenzulernen.

Es hat nicht so nach richtig persische Essen geschmeckt was mich ja so richtig genervt hat die kleinen Beilagen so wie turshi oder Oliven oder zazik also ich kenn ja von viele arabisch oder türkisch oder kurdisch die sind umsonst dabei aber da so ein klein schale 5.50€ Für 2 Personen ca 90€ bezahlt ist sehr teuer nicht zum empfehlen leider

Herzlicher Empfang. Jedes Mal, wenn ich mit meinen ausländischen Freunden dort bin, hoffe ich, dass ihnen das Essen schmeckt. Es ist wirklich köstlich.

Es war für die kleine Portion viel zu teuer, vor allem ohne Beilagen. Das Personal war etwas unfreundlich und die Atmosphäre nicht ansprechend. Nicht empfehlenswert! Ich hatte Chenge Kebab bestellt. Er schmeckte nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht umwerfend. Ich habe das gleiche Gericht in anderen persischen Restaurants in Berlin schon für 5 € weniger bekommen, und dort waren sogar Beilagen dabei.

Wir waren vor zwei Wochen zu dritt im Teheran essen. 2x Kabab Kubideh und 1x Soltani. Die Gerichte waren stets lecker. Wir fanden es ledig schade, dass es keine Butter für den Reis gab und nur eine halbe gegrillte Tomate! Etwas sparsam! ;) Außerdem gab es von der Küche her kein Kräuterteller vorab, was bei vielen anderen persischen Restaurants üblich ist. Als Beilage hatten wir Mas Mossir (Joghurt Dip mit Bergknoblauch) gewählt, leider hat man von Mossir nichts geschmeckt. Der Service war freundlich und ok, nicht ganz herzlich und persisch. Trotzdem, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! dastetun dard nakone :)

Perfektes, leckeres und sehr reichhaltiges Essen. Sehr nette Bedienung und keine langen Wartezeiten. Es gibt absolut nichts auszusetzen und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Danke für den schönen Abend.

Ich bin früher in meinen Mittagspausen sehr gerne hierher gekommen und habe besonders gerne Kabab Kubideh gegessen. Die Portionen waren immer großzügig und geschmacklich wirklich hervorragend. Vor Kurzem war ich wieder dort und war leider sehr enttäuscht. Der Kabab Kubideh hat überhaupt nicht geschmeckt eher wie Kabab Tabei und hatte nicht mehr die gewohnte Qualität. Außerdem waren die Portionen deutlich kleiner als früher. Aus vielen anderen persischen Restaurants kenne ich es, dass man vor dem Essen Sabzi mit Brot und Schafskäse serviert bekommt. Das war hier leider auch nicht der Fall. Sehr schade, ich hoffe, dass sich die Qualität wieder verbessert.

Waren am Wochenende zu zweit im Teheran essen und insgesamt waren wir nicht so zufrieden. Von bisherigen Besuchen in persischen Restaurants kannten wir es so, dass es als Vorspeise Brot wie z.B. Lavash mit Kräutern/Dip gibt. Das gab es hier nicht. Das Essen kam relativ schnell, war aber lauwarm. Mit den fünf Scheiben Zwiebeln und der halben Tomate irgendwie lieblos gestaltet. Vor allem wenn man die Preise berücksichtigt. Der Service war ok, es wurde nur das nötigste mit uns gesprochen. Die Mitarbeiterin die uns bediente hatte Kopfhörer in den Ohren. Es gab keine Rückfragen, ob es schmeckt, wir noch etwas als Nachspeise oder ein zweites Getränk möchten. Nach dem zahlen am Tisch wurden wir auch nicht wirklich verabschiedet, die Mitarbeiterin ging einfach wieder. Also da ist noch Luft nach oben.

Ausgezeichnet, das Essen ist wirklich das beste was ich in Deutschland gegessen habe. Es war wie eine Reise durch den Orient, vielen Dank 🙏

Ein wirklich tolles Lokal. Das Fleisch ist zart und schmackhaft, die Qualität deutlich besser als bei den üblichen Straßenbuden. Zwar ist der Preis etwas höher, aber es lohnt sich.

The value for money was poor. The lamb was barely seasoned and had an unpleasant taste. The rice was tasteless and far too dry. A few berries and pistachios were sprinkled on top, but that was it. The bread had a cardboard-like consistency. All this at exorbitant prices.

I rarely give bad reviews, but my visit last Saturday was disappointing. The appetizer was delicious and the service very friendly, so that wasn't the problem. The main course, however, was a real letdown: my mixed grill was lukewarm, the meat extremely watery and barely seasoned. So much water ran out when I cut it that the entire plate was covered in it. The chicken, in particular, tasted completely bland, almost like cardboard, and didn't seem to have been grilled at all. The lamb was slightly raw. It seemed as if everything had just been defrosted and quickly prepared. A real shame, because the restaurant is capable of much better.

Restaurant Tehran offers a truly perfect culinary experience. The atmosphere is wonderful and instantly inviting. For my appetizer, I had the stuffed grape leaves, which were incredibly delicious and tender. My chicken main course was juicy, perfectly grilled, and wonderfully seasoned. The entire meal was excellent and extremely authentic Persian. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. You truly feel welcome here. Overall, a complete success! I will definitely return and highly recommend Tehran to any food lover.

Nice ambiance, moderate prices. The appetizer plates were delicious, the highlight was the dessert! The falafel was too greasy for our taste, lacking in flavor, and the ghora sabzi lacked any zest. It's unclear why the appetizers were frozen falafel instead of homemade Persian dishes. Another negative was that the table for 6 people wasn't prepared at all, even though it was reserved in advance. The restrooms were very dirty and needed to be cleaned. The service was very friendly but not attentive. Card payments accepted. Dogs are not allowed.

I ordered just about the most expensive thing—a grilled platter, or Tehran plate. Every restaurant usually comes with some kind of sauce, like steak sauce or peppercorn sauce. Not here. Because the food was spicy, I wanted some kind of mint yogurt sauce to go with it, like my colleagues had. They charged me an extra €5.50 for that. I found that very cheeky and it spoiled the experience. I really don't like it when extra costs are hidden everywhere.

I suggest you don't go to this restaurant. I went with my family from the city of Baderborn. The food was poor quality and the dolma was canned, very tasteless. If people want to eat canned food, they buy it from the store.

I ate Persian food for the first time. Everything tasted good, but they only serve meat and rice, without salad or bread (you have to order that separately; salad costs €7-8!), and then it's too expensive for me.

Extremely poor service, even though there was hardly anyone there, it took a long time just to order, and the food was rather mediocre. After our meal, we were simply left sitting there with no opportunity to order anything else. Extremely unfriendly, no atmosphere at all—wouldn't go back, what a shame.

The drinks and the food were great, everything tasted amazing and the restaurant looked very nice too, the restaurant is a 10/10.

I was here on July 2, 2025, with friends in a large group. In terms of food quality and taste, this is one of the best restaurants, not just in Dortmund. The staff is very friendly and unobtrusive. The meat dishes are delicious. The next time I'm in Dortmund, I will take every opportunity to visit the Teheran Restaurant again.

The food was absolutely fantastic: authentic Persian, full of flavor, and prepared with love. I especially recommend the Kebab-e Barg and the fresh herbs with feta and naan as a starter. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. You immediately feel the family atmosphere and hospitality that is typical of Iran. I ate here with my boyfriend today. I think the food is really good. The kebab is really delicious. The doogh was excellent. The staff are very attentive and polite. The Persian tea is very good quality. Most importantly, it's very clean and hygienic, which speaks volumes for Persian cuisine ;)

The food was lukewarm. It didn't taste particularly good. The ayran with fresh herbs and mineral water was the only thing that impressed me. Unfortunately, the service didn't leave a good impression. The drink didn't arrive until after the meal. After the meal, the table wasn't cleared, let alone asked if I enjoyed it.

I left my order for pickup, but when I got inside, I found it nice, clean, and tidy. Overall, it was good, although I had a bit of trouble finding parking. But the food was excellent, the staff were very polite and friendly, my order was prepared very quickly, and there were many other positive aspects. I recommend it and thank you for the service.

Delicious food. The appetizer platter is a bit carelessly prepared but plentiful. Main courses there is a wide selection of meat and vegetarian. Very tasty but lightly spiced. We also liked the saffron rice. Negative: there are no desserts except baklava and only a moderate selection of digestives.

The food was simply fantastic! From the freshly baked breads to the aromatic starters to the perfectly seasoned main courses - every bite was a delight. We were particularly impressed by the tender, juicy meat and the fragrant rice dishes. You can taste that the cooking here is done with a lot of love and authentic ingredients.

Decent food but poor service. We enjoyed the koubideh but we found the chenjeh, barg and joojeh not soft and fresh. On the service, our orders were not taken properly and we needed to pay with cash as their POS machine was not working.

I can't say anything about the atmosphere because we ordered. However, the quantities, compared to the price, are a joke. What's much worse is that the employees don't have a dish there and try to offer dishes for a cheaper price instead, even though the order has already been placed. On top of that, half of them were forgotten by the court. There was no apology either. Conclusion: It is definitely not recommended to order there.

We unexpectedly had the pleasure of trying out Persian cuisine. Of our three different dishes, all of them were exceptional in terms of appearance and taste. The restaurant is clean and very invitingly decorated. The service is very friendly and accommodating. After the usual everyday food, this was a welcome, very tasty change.

Wanted to try the food. We ordered something to pick up and unfortunately can't recommend it. Really small portion of goulash but a lot of rice. Price/performance wasn't right at all. According to the menu, the second dish was supposed to have eggplant and a yogurt dip, but when we got home after unpacking there was just a tomato sauce with a little egg. Unfortunately a failure. We won't order from there again.

I just ordered. The food came really quickly and wasn't cold, the lamb was even hot. It was tasty so far, no taste explosion, but not bad. I was just disappointed with the price-performance ratio... I had to look for the meat. There were maybe 5 pieces measuring 2x2 cm. There was plenty of rice, but also relatively little sauce. As a result, it was a bit dry overall.

The quality of the food leaves something to be desired as it is served lukewarm. I also think the prices are too high. The service is extremely poor and unfriendly. Personally, I will never eat at the Tehran Restaurant again and advise against visiting it.
