The doner kebab is amazing, with a variety of sauces available, and the meat and bun are incredibly delicious. Highly recommended.

Everything was great, great staff, great boss

A lovely family-run business. We're so glad we stopped by and had the chance to sample their food. Even if you don't, it's a wonderful place to work hard for, especially the delicious food, the atmosphere, the cleanliness, and the friendly staff. We had pizza and a döner platter. The pizza dough was very good, and the quality of the ingredients was definitely reflected in the flavor. The döner they made on the döner platter was delicious. The portions aren't just for winter; they offer plenty of them. They definitely deserve the price they pay. The fact that it's a family-run business, along with the hygiene, was a key factor that impressed us. We'd like to thank the owner and staff again for their attentiveness.

We went as a large group. Everyone ate almost every dish. Each dish had its own unique flavor and was filling. The owners were very polite and attentive, and the atmosphere was very clean. I definitely recommend it.

The kebab shop used to be a 1 star. Now I can only give it 1 out of 5 stars. The staff absolutely doesn't cater to the customers' wishes. They pour sauces into the kebabs and then ask what they want. They don't ask what meat they want either. They simply use 90 percent chicken and fill the rest with veal. The staff also doesn't communicate with each other. Person A orders, and Person B prepares the food. For example, a kebab special is ordered from Person A, and Person B prepares a regular kebab. But of course, it's charged as a special. I've had this happen many times, which is why I'm writing this review now.

In my opinion, the place is not only too dirty for a restaurant, i.e. unwiped tables and sticky floors, but also old and run down. Nobody has probably cleaned the edge of the counter in a long time, the leather on the benches is torn or a piece of the back of the chairs is missing. The kebab is astronomically expensive for its size. The jumbo kebab is a normal kebab that is not opened wide when filling, but instead you throw everything on top. It's not more, but it should look like more. For €9.90 and a cheapest quality minced meat skewer with 90% minced meat, I find it extremely overpriced. The sauces are probably all based on mayo. That doesn't suit my taste. Salt, pepper or spices are neither on the tables nor can you get them at the counter (for hygiene reasons - exactly my sense of humor) But there is a fully automatic meat cutting machine and 2-3 employees standing around. I ordered with sheep's cheese and pepperoni, only received the cheese but still paid the extra charge. All in all, this was my personally worst restaurant experience. There is no recommendation from me. The 2nd star goes to the cash register and card payments. Is rare in kebab shops. But if you hold the money in your hand, the receipt will only be typed in when you ask for the bill.

Used to be a really good kebab shop Today I unfortunately have to say simply not recommended The taste is great but the employees can't listen I ordered a kebab plate without KusKus and without tomatoes and a kebab box without tomatoes and without cabbage due to an allergy! I got a naked kebab plate without sauce with KusKus and tomatoes Also in the kebab box, although it was said 5 times without tomatoes, it was given with tomatoes. What's up ? Why is there no sauce on the kebab plate? Why did I pay €29 for a kebab plate and a kebab box + 2 cokes to take away when the dish itself comes out completely wrong. Why do you put tomatoes in even though it's been said 5 times? Do you now really have to pick the food apart on the spot so that you can see whether it fits or not??? I would like my money back for this, unfortunately the food was thrown away because the risk of an allergic shock is too high! The colleague said on the phone that I should come again, I would get it for free, but I don't want to eat here anymore or take anything with me, I'm sorry!

Everything is great, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, very large portions, very tasty sauces, calzones and kebab plates are definitely worth trying, overall everything is super delicious.

Doner great. The best around. We didn't try any other dishes. The service is friendly but a touch too fast. The ambience is not good at all. Table dirty, everything worn out. Should be renewed.

Food good, fresh. Delicious pizza, nice employees, we are tourists and we managed to get along. Prices are higher than in other restaurants, because they are 3 euros higher. The restaurant is clean and all health and safety standards are met.

The food was very good, everything was fresh. Despite the mistake, I got the food again without having to pay any additional costs. The mistake was probably related to the inability to communicate, neither in German nor in English. The room is neat and very clean. After the customer leaves, the table is immediately wiped down. Nice employees and committed to customer service. An advantage is the individual approach to each person.

Caution: nausea after eating kebab among several family members!

Order again and again and delicious every time, however! When the older gentleman with the white hair serves, the pizza is often burnt and even after complaining nothing is done and he says, "nothing is burnt" even though he had previously told the employee it was burnt... Service in that sense is extreme bad... Regarding the friendliness of one worker, all the other employees can't say anything bad :) Otherwise the food was great if it wasn't burnt Price-wise, slightly more expensive than competitors

The pizza is sensational. The restaurant is a kind of high-end snack bar.

The falafel dürüm was really tasty and wasn't dripping with fat at all, which is always a plus in my opinion. Nice and crispy, fresh ingredients and easy to enjoy. Ambiance in the restaurant was also very good. The store seemed very well maintained and clean, including the counter. The ingredients chosen for the falafel dürüm were well chosen, but not overloaded. You could eat well. I definitely recommend the store :D

The pide and pizzas there are too expensive but taste good. However, the kebab is one of the worst I've eaten recently. The meat is really almost disgusting and the rest isn't particularly good either.

What a really cool kebab, I haven't eaten a better one yet. The friendliness here is amazing, super nice people who will spoil you with very good delicacies... I'm looking forward to coming back 😋

Sometimes you just crave a kebab, even though you know in advance that the inferior meat is bad for you Lying in the stomach for 2 days. But now it’s just a joke and can’t even begin to be explained as “inflation”. I recently paid €9 for a dry one. Either every employee receives an hourly wage of €500 and 1 head of lettuce now costs €200 or it is simply an absolute rip-off with fictitious cost increases “justified”. 2 hours on the toilet and stomach cramps at their best can definitely be had cheaper (with less spending of your hard-earned money, better digestibility, satiety time and taste).

Ordered a kebab plate, unfortunately the meat was cold (again) and the sauce with it wasn't tasty either. Portions become significantly smaller and the price increases. No more price/performance ratio, so we won't be coming back. Also no friendly service etc

Very hectic order taking. Pizza wasn't among the best I've eaten. Meat is ok. Lahmacun is said to be good. Unfortunately, I couldn't convince myself of this. There was no time to ask questions when ordering.

We had stomach bugs every other day. Never eat there again!!!!! My 3 year old son: Febra over 40 degrees and spitting constantly. Not recommended!

We will now switch to a shop in our town. Rating 2021: The tastiest Turkish food far and wide in Illertissen and the surrounding area. Very clean kitchen, super friendly staff. It is very commendable that plastic bags are not used. We'd love to come back.

Taxim used to be my standard address for kebab, but as others have already mentioned, the kebab has definitely declined. It now costs almost twice as much (which is the case everywhere), but it is still getting smaller, which shouldn't be normal. The portions you get vary extremely, I have attached 2 pictures of our kebab from this week, one was so much lighter in the hand that I actually had to weigh it. As you can see, one of them weighs almost 1/3 less for the same price, which is simply not acceptable and can also be said critically. After all, we're not talking about about 50g, something like that happens, but about almost 200g, which corresponds to about 1/3. I will avoid Taxim in the future because the unfair austerity measures are not only applied to kebabs. By the way, the kebabs were ordered exactly the same, they just have different sauces. I used to always order kebabs with less meat and more vegetables, but at some point they just gave me less meat and not a gram more vegetables, the kebab felt as light as a hamburger, but of course the same price was still due.. . By the way, the kebabs were made by other employees, so do yourself a favor and go to the younger employees, because they made the harder ones again this time. So not everyone is following this unfair austerity course. In any case, that was definitely my last visit there, I was just disappointed too many times.

Great ambience, super friendly staff, great food. I've been going there for years and the service is still as friendly as on the first day. Large selection in the menu, fair prices. I can warmly recommend it to everyone.

Zu Beginn war Taxim eine gute Adresse. So nach und nach merkt man allerdings, wie die Qualität sowie die Kundenfreundlichkeit immer weiter nachlässt. Wahrscheinlich ist der Inhaber mehr mit seiner Freizeit und seinen Sport beschäftigt, anstatt sich persönlich um sein Geschäft zu kümmern. Mit der Familie gehe ich da ungern hin. Ist es ein Männertreff oder eine Dönerbude. Das Fleisch ist mir persönlich einfach zu fettig und im Restaurant hat man den Eindruck, dass lediglich oberflächlich geputzt wird. Wenn alle Stricke reißen, nicht mal dann gehe ich da noch hin. Da ist mir König lieber, auch wenn man es länger anstehen muss. Das lohnt sich aber hinsichtlich dem Geschmack, der Qualität und der Hygiene.

Super Auswahl, bisher ausnahmslos nette Mitarbeiter und preislich auch absolut okay. Essen auch gerne direkt in Lokal.

Geschmacklich ist der Döner sehr lecker. Allerdings hat Taxim in den letzten Jahren ordentlich nachgelassen an der Portionsmenge. Mittlerweile zahlt man fast doppelt soviel wie früher für eine kleinere Portion. Selbst ich als Frau werde nicht mehr satt von einem normalen Döner. Wenn man frägt, ob man ein bisschen mehr Salat bekommt, ist der Nachschub minimal. Sehr enttäuschende Entwickelung!

Heute in illertissen gewesen um etwas zu kaufen. Dann kam natürlich der Hunger und mir wurde dieser Dönerladen empfohlen. Erst kritisch dann überrascht. Fluffiges Brot, frische Zutaten, tolle Saucen. Ein unglaubliches Geschmackes Erlebnis. Rieeeesen Döner zu einem guten Preis. 10/10 kommen gerne wieder, wenn spontan in der Nähe 🤝 weiter so!

Sehr gutes Essen, ich habe bei vielen Kebab Lades gegessen, aber ich hätte nicht erwartet, dass es so gut schmeckt. Ich kann es jedem aus Illertissen und Umgebung empfehlen. Es lohnt sich sogar, 40 km zu fahren. Bis zum nächsten Mal.

Hab mir ein Lahmacun "Jumbo-Style" also mit Salat und Fleisch, gegönnt.🤤 Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen einen zu probieren.

Das Essen ist sehr gut, aber die Zutaten sind nicht ganz frisch ,die Pizza wird frisch gemacht und schmeckt besser als in den meisten Pizzerien. 👍 Die Location ist sauber und schön und die Atmosphäre ist sehr gemütlich 🤩👍

Schmeckt sehr gut und total Familien freundlich. Jede Menge Parkplätze vorhanden direkt vor dem Laden und drinnen auch genug Sitzplätze vorhanden. Nur das einzige was mich stört das Döner 7€ kostet.
