It was a very beautiful summer evening. I had dinner with my work colleagues. Was super tasty.

The staff is very friendly. Food is super tasty and there are no long waiting times. All in all very good.

We sat in the wonderful beer garden. The central plane tree was magnificent. There was nothing wrong with the food.

Beautiful beer garden with a large plane tree in the center. A nice place to stay in the current heat. Good value for money. Gyros were fresh, not kept warm for hours as is often the case. Service staff very attentive. All in all: recommended 👍🏻

It's really nice to sit outside. Unfortunately, at lunchtime the food was completely cold after a long wait (45 minutes), the service was very slow in communication and you can only pay in cash. Unfortunately no recommendation.

Wir waren am Samstag dort Essen. Es dauerte fast anderthalb Stunden, bis wir unser Essen bekamen. Ein Menü wurde kalt serviert. Für die Preise, kann man ja verlangen, dass auch alles in Ordnung ist. Auch fehlen Salz und Pfeffer Streuer auf den Tischen, so daß man auch mal nachwürzen kann. Ist leider nicht mehr so wie es mal war.

We ate here for the first time today. The starter followed by the main course was very, very good. Everything was fresh and of good quality. The food was prepared with care, love and a lot of work. This restaurant has gained a good name for itself in a short period of time.

Went there without pre-ordering and was thrilled. Nice atmosphere and very nice service.

A really great place. We always enjoy coming here. Great service and great food, at good prices. Although there is no longer a bottle of ouzo on the table, there is one before and after the meal, which is sufficient. Both indoors and, when the weather is nice, outside, it's a wonderful place to stay and enjoy.

Super delicious food (at absolutely fair prices) that you can rely on in a wonderful ambience with pure Greek flair and operators who put their heart and soul into good food and happy customers. Thank you for the lovely evening!

We had an absolutely perfect meal there. The ambience is beautiful, the service is top notch and the food is so incredibly delicious. Even the youngest guests were lovingly looked after. We left full and happy and when we go to a Greek restaurant we will only go to El Greco. Thanks for that!

All in all, I can recommend this The food was quite good. Just sometimes minor things like the rice being lukewarm. But otherwise good food. The service was also good, although sometimes a bit disorganized (get the same thing twice, etc.). But then always immediately helpful. The atmosphere is really nice and inviting.

The service was very nice and friendly. According to the menu, I specifically ordered a dish with asparagus, which wasn't in high season yet but was still available in stores. The dish came without asparagus and I asked where the asparagus was and was told that it wasn't time for it yet. Yes, well, but it's on the card, but the answer was the same. After ages back and forth I was asked if the chef should make some more, yes please. The 5 sticks of pencil asparagus then arrived, and the waitress couldn't help but comment as she was clearing the table. My husband then had to recalculate the bill, which unfortunately we corrected to our disadvantage. Since it was now the third chance to convince us, I will now give up going there. On the first visit with our group of about 18 people, I would just like to add that 3 people got almost raw gyros . After they returned it and it came back, one person still had it almost raw. Even if there is a lot going on, the meat should still be cooked through.

We had reserved for April 2nd, 2024 and traveled there specifically on a recommendation from Cologne to visit. We stood in front of a locked door. I organize festivities for work, but the fact that someone simply stayed closed despite a reservation caused disappointment in the area. From there we drove 30km to El Credo in BALGSTÄDT. We were warmly welcomed there. I therefore recommend having this confirmed in writing when making reservations.

Price/performance is great here. The food was delicious.

The food was great and the waiters are very friendly. There was ouzo on the house before and after. If we come to Querfurt again, we would like to come here!!

Hier kann man lecker nach der arbeit essen und entspannen das ist auch nicht sehr teuer sondern ganz im Gegenteil, es ist sehr günstig. Es gibt nettes Personal

We had reserved a table for 5 people by phone days before. We hadn't heard anything about a change of operator beforehand. When we arrived (there was no need to look at the reservation book), the restaurant was occupied by a few tables. A table that was intended for 4 people was quickly expanded to include a chair. The drinks came, the tray tipped over, spilling onto the neighboring table and the floor, but the drinks were still served to us. The starter arrived and there was a piece of plastic hidden in one of the salads. The waitress paid no further attention to this comment and disappeared. It was the turn of the main courses, but now it became apparent that this table was simply too small for 5 main courses. The taste was good and the food was a reasonable size for the price. There was also a table fee of 10.50 euros on the bill, which in my opinion is only justified if the table is attractively set (no dried flowers, folded napkins, a proper tablecloth) Guests were then seated at the spilled neighboring table. The ambience definitely needs to be worked on, otherwise it has the feel of a canteen. My tips: - Safe demeanor from staff towards guests - Workwear - Music in the guest room - District organization needs to be better planned (so that changing personnel in civilian clothes can be recognized) - Introduce card payment!! - clean menus

Have been here a lot in the last few years. Since the operator changed, it's a better snack bar. The service was overwhelmed, the food lacked the taste that characterizes Greek cuisine. The icing on the cake was the bill on which a different wine was charged than what was ordered and the wine we ordered was not served, but a similar one without telling us. In short, that was our last visit. The invoice date is also completely wrong; May 5, 2016 was printed here.

Were there for the first time since the change of ownership. Disaster, the service was very friendly, sometimes overwhelmed. The food came with a starter almost at the same time as the main course. Food tasted absolutely not a bit Greek. Had baked gyros with rice, the rice was sour and Metaxa sauce was available without Metaxa. It's a shame, we really enjoyed being here earlier.

There is a good atmosphere in the El Greco tavern and the ambience is also very good. There are no complaints from the staff. The food was brought quickly and was very appetizing. You felt very comfortable. Only recommended!

I would give the store 0 stars but unfortunately that's not possible! We had ordered or reserved a table for 12 people, but nothing was prepared until we were there. Order a disaster Food came in stages and then the wrong dishes, we couldn't eat together. I had a ginger ale as a drink, even that had probably been open for a while. With very very little carbonation. The crowning glory: There was a bowl of potatoes on my plate that I was supposed to give to my son-in-law according to the waiter's instructions, but why wasn't it brought separately??? I didn't know that the bowl was hot and it burned my fingers so badly that there were blisters. This service staff is completely out of place in this restaurant, totally overwhelmed!!!

A very nice restaurant in itself, but today we had to wait almost an hour before we received our food and when we finally received it, it was still cold and not fully cooked. But many thanks to the one waitress who accepted our criticism and brought us dessert on the house.

Food is a real disaster. Tomato soup not even color :( Very bad

We ordered lamb shanks. After half an hour the waitress came and said they didn't have any. We ordered tomato soup. it could not be eaten. then they brought the wrong essay.

Unfortunately I can't give zero stars. After several visits to this restaurant, I can't think of anything else. For explanation: First visit: I ordered a Jack Daniels with Coke. It wasn't Jack Daniels. I told the waitress this. He came back with a shot glass and poured the unknown liquid into my existing drink. Second visit: I ordered shrimp with noodles in cream sauce. The prawns were unpeeled in the MUSHROOM cream sauce (no cleaning wipes). Since I don't eat mushrooms, I called the waiter, who then not very kindly informed me that there are always mushrooms in the cream sauce. (He ignored a hint that this should also be written on the card) Third visit: we were invited for a birthday. A group of about 12 people had to wait hours for their drinks. When I asked where the drinks that had already been ordered were, they said the note had disappeared. But instead of taking the order again we were ignored as usual. Until we wrote down our drinks ourselves and had to go to the counter. I could go on writing here forever, but as a summary. Service completely overwhelmed and likes to discuss things with the guests and take a lot of time when something is going on.

Update since change of host. We have given the location another chance since the owner changed. The service is very friendly and always tries hard. The quality of the food is again as it should be and at a price where value for money is top. Therefore 5 stars again. Keep it up.

Kleines Gemütliches Ambiente, leider sehr eng und laut. Ein Paar Tische weniger würden sicher helfen. Wartezeit für das Essen war in Ordnung. Vorspeisen kamen flott und waren lecker. Bedienung war Freundlich und fix. Essen war durchschnittlich und angesichts des Betreiber wechsels Ausbaufähig.

Der heutige Besuch war ein Reinfall, hat der Betreiber dort gewechselt, da für uns nur neue Gesichter da waren. Die Getränkebestellung war schon ein Akt, von 7 Getränken fehlten 3 bei der ersten Lieferung, dann nochmal die 3 Getränke auf gezählt, aber es fehlte dann wieder eins. Ganz zu schweigen, das die Größen ob Groß oder Klein nicht wirklich beachtet wurden. Beim Essen wurde auch alles durcheinander geliefert, leere Teller wurden nicht wirklich abgeräumt. Neue Getränke konnte man nur bestellen in dem man laut rief wenn ein Kellner vorbei stürmte, weil keiner mal auf die Tische geschaut hat. Beim Bezahlen stellte sich auch heraus das vieles nicht in der Kasse verzeichnet war. Ein entspannten Abend schaut anders aus.

Beste Werbung...nahmen gerade Platz,stand der Ouzo schon da.. sofortige Bedienung...ich hatte meine Lesebrille vergessen,der Kellner gab mir seine...das Essen kam nach kurzer Wartezeit...sehr lecker...U das Ambiente..super!ich hab noch nie in so einem schönen, griechischen Lokal gesessen...alles top...ich komme wieder..

Das Restaurant ist prima. Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch ziemlich viel. Die Preise noch in Ordnung. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und das Essen wurde schnell gebracht. Ambiente ist super und passt perfekt zum Griechen. Einzig zu kritisieren wären die Beilagen, da z.B. die Pommes eher schlecht zubereitet waren.

Frischer Wind! Essen sehr gut! Chef nett und kümmert sich persönlich um die Gäste! Hat alles gepasst. Gerne wieder!

Wir hatten extra reserviert und uns auf einen schönen Abend gefreut. Das Restaurant ist hübsch eingerichtet. Als wir nach einem Regenguss eintrafen wurden wir im Hofdurchgang platziert, es tropfte durch den Sonnenschutz, die Tischdecke und Stühle waren nass und verschmutzt. Innenplätze gäbe es nicht mehr. Die Speisen waren übrigens lecker. Wir sind enttäuscht gegangen.

Wir haben zwar direkt einen Platz bekommen, leider fand ich es nicht ganz sauber. Den Salat den wir als Vorspeise bekommen haben sah auch nicht wirklich frisch aus.

Mussten 1/2stunde auf das Trinken warten. Nach mehrmaligem nachfragen bekamen wir das Trinken. Servicepersonal wirkte sehr genervt.Nach 1 1/2 Stunden kam erst das Essen. Fleisch war zäh und der Reis war nur noch lauwarm .War kaum gewürzt. Das war uns eine Lehre.

Service in Ordnung. Essen könnte besser sein. Hat aber geschmeckt. Preis in Ordnung.

Bis auf die Kinder spaghetti (waren aus der Dose!) war das Essen super. Und netter Service.

Hatte 2x die 44 mit Kretanischen Kartoffeln bestellt.. Wurde anscheinend nicht richtig notiert beim bestellen. Kam dann doch mit Pommes &Reis! Nicht gut.. &wir empfanden das der Käse nicht gut war, hatte einen beißenden Geruch irgendwie.. Schade! Für den Preis sollte es schon passen! Ansonsten sehr freundlich &nett

Ich habe dort mit Freunden schon öfters gegessen. Inzwischen scheinen sich die Abläufe und das Personal eingespielt zu haben. Bei unserem ersten Besuch, wir waren 6 Personen und wir hatten alle unser Essen nur meine Freundin nicht !!! Nachdem wir das Personal darauf angesprochen haben, kam das Essen für meine Freundin, aber es war nicht das was Sie bestellt hatte.

Ein toller Abend mit lecker Speisen…. Das muss wiederholt werden. Wir kommen nächste Woche wieder. Danke an das ganze Team !!! Weiter so….ihr seid Spitze !!!

Gaststube ist gemütlich. Geschirr war zu Teil nicht sauber. Kellner kann gar nichts. Essen hat geschmeckt. Preise I. O.

Ich muss mal einige Sachen los werden. Wir hatten für ca. 40 Leute reserviert und hatten vorher nochmal angefragt, ob alles dabei bleibt.“ Alles kein Problem „. Als wir ankamen, war Nichts vorbereitet bzw. eingedeckt, es mussten so gar schon Gäste ihre Plätze räumen, um für uns Platz zu schaffen. Tische und Stühle wurden wahllos zusammengestellt, auf Tischdecken und Servietten wurde ganz verzichtet. Getränke und Essen kamen sehr schnell, manches kam doppelt oder fehlte. Es kam wie es kommen musste, als die Rechnungen zu bezahlen waren, war das Chaos perfekt. Die Abrechnung erfolgte nur von Chef persönlich. Angeblich standen noch Sachen offen, obwohl jeder seine Rechnung schon bez. hatte, diese wurden nach heftiger Diskussion von uns bezahlt. Alles im allen , für größere gemeinsame Personengruppen nicht geeignet. Schade. Es war uns eine Lehre.
