Drinks and dessert, all for two people, cost €75.00.

Unfriendly to children. Today is Halloween, and children who were sent in were simply turned away, citing cultural differences. I will not be visiting this store again after this incident! Integration and tolerance?

We were passing through last night and the three of us ate at Athos. The food was fantastic, and the service was friendly and attentive. Along with the bill and ouzo, both ladies received a rose as a parting gift. A very nice gesture, thank you again! If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back for another meal! A very good Greek restaurant. Very friendly staff and incredibly delicious food. We were there with five people, and everyone was delighted by the friendliness and the excellent food. The best part came last, when the chef came around the corner with roses for us ladies. We were so happy about it. I highly recommend this restaurant. We discovered this restaurant while traveling 400 km from home and were absolutely thrilled. The restaurant and outdoor area are beautifully decorated, the food is fantastic, and the service is fast, friendly, and courteous. We'd love to come back. The staff was constantly on the go! They always forgot about you. The manager couldn't even think about greeting his guests! Guests with reservations had to wait. Card payments aren't possible, which is terrible. I don't want to think about it anymore! What's happening to my money there? The food was delicious, though!

We were here recently. The food was delicious. I don't understand why some people here want to criticize the food being served too quickly as a form of gratification. The Rose has found its way home to us. All in all, a truly wonderful end to a week's vacation in the Harz Mountains and surrounding area. If we lived closer, we would come here more often.

Never again! The service was unparalleled. What takes too long in other restaurants was a sprint here. Drinks, appetizers, and main course arrived almost simultaneously. The food itself tasted okay but wasn't beautifully presented. All in all, it was rather lackluster. We were finished after 45 minutes! Nothing kept us there any longer. They could have saved themselves the rose for the lady; it was simply out of place.

Well, we wanted to try some delicious Greek food to finish off. I've had worse, but I've also had better. It was presented rather carelessly, and the sauces were very greasy. The gyro was very finely shredded and a bit too spicy for my taste. The food wasn't disgusting, but the quality wasn't typically Greek either. The service was super friendly 👍, and the restaurant is also very appealing.

Very nice location. It's a nice place to sit outside. It wasn't possible to choose your own seat. My beer was served in a leaky glass. I had to ask for a beer mat. I ate the farmer's platter for €22.90. For that money, I would have expected a higher-quality salad, not just cheap green salad and coleslaw. The platter was very nicely prepared, and the meat was good quality. Unfortunately, the gyro was shredded very finely. It looked like a pan-fried gyro. There was also a lack of pepper and salt for seasoning. Another negative was the fact that they only accepted cash. I had missed the small sign at the entrance, so I had to look for an ATM.

Friendly staff and delicious Greek grilled dishes. It's like a mini-vacation. The restaurant makes the most of its awkward street location with a vine screen and an attractively designed outdoor area.

We regularly visit Greek restaurants and have excellent reviews of the food. One of the most expensive dishes on the menu (lamb fillet for €29.90) was absolutely not worth the price! Traditional dishes (lamb shank) are not on the menu. Every other Greek restaurant serves this dish in four different versions. A real shame! The parting rose 🌹 for the ladies was a nice gesture, but not a reason for a repeat visit. Only cash payments are accepted.

Very disappointing – zero points! We just wanted a drink on a cozy evening – nothing more, nothing less. However, we were turned away at this Greek restaurant because we supposedly also needed something to eat – even if it was just a few olives or a bit of bread. "The kitchen has to be rung." This truly left us speechless. Where is the hospitality? We felt downright unwanted, almost escorted out. We haven't been treated like this in a long time – cold, dismissive, and completely unsympathetic. For a restaurant that seems inviting at first glance, this was a bitter disappointment. We definitely won't be going back.

The meat was juicy and flavorfully seasoned, and the fries were crispy. The ambiance is very reminiscent of a Greek taverna, very nice. All in all, it was a very pleasant stop, and I would visit the restaurant again anytime and recommend it to others.

We visited the "Taverna Athos" for the first time yesterday and were impressed by the friendliness and the quality of the food. The taverna is beautifully decorated. For drinks, we enjoyed the house cocktail, which we also enjoyed very much. As a special touch, we found that each woman received a rose at the end, and the complimentary ouzo at the end was also something we didn't take for granted. We really enjoyed our stay there and would love to come back.

I've been to many restaurants and have never been asked to change tables during the meal. You can put the tables together outside for a larger group of people, even though there are still many tables available. Furthermore, the intervals between meals are far too short these days; in just under an hour you can finish the starter and the main course. By the way, you also have to wait a certain amount of time to wait for the bill. I'll avoid this place for a while.

Gyros quite dry. You cannot pay by card here. A rogue who thinks evil of it.

The restaurant inside, outside and the snack bar are always well maintained and the people there are very friendly. What bothers me a bit is that after a while the boss pressures you to finish and the place is vacated. We stopped here spontaneously after visiting the thermal bath - the sign smiled at us while we were looking for something to eat... The first impression was very good, lovingly furnished and decorated, but simple, well-kept and very clean. We had our three boys (8, 10, 11) with us and were immediately given a place in the well-filled room (always a good sign). A very quick and polite waitress took our order, and for the children there were beautifully illustrated and well-designed cards containing delicious dishes in child-friendly portions and seasonings. We had a gourmet grill plate, the children's Iraqi plate, an Amazon plate and a gyros in the pensioner's portion. The rice that was accidentally served with it would be replaced with fries in a flash and without a superfluous comment. All in all: very fast service, super professional. The food was freshly and deliciously prepared, the portions were reasonable to really large. The children had ice cream for dessert and a lollipop. The Greek espresso at the end was hot, perfectly sweetened and delicious. The only point: there could have been a little more garlic in the tzatziki - but: I know that many people don't like it that much, and it was still delicious.😁 So full marks, the price-performance ratio is also right.

We had to wait some time for the drinks. Very good food, very large portion. We didn't get everything done. At the end there was an ouzo and a rose for the ladies. Reservations are probably an advantage.

I think it's definitely too expensive here compared to other Greek restaurants. And I was very disappointed that there was no tzatziki served with the gyros plate for €14.90. I think that's just part of the gyro, so I ordered it separately and was charged €4.90 extra for about 2 tablespoons, so it ended up costing €19.80, which is clearly too expensive for a normal gyro with rice . So I personally won't visit this location again. Except perhaps during the weekday lunchtime, there is a discounted lunch menu. And no card payment is possible, which should actually be standard everywhere today. So all in all, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant because there are actually better ones. But that's just my opinion, everyone is welcome to see for themselves. There's nothing wrong with the food itself apart from the prices, so it definitely tasted good and you can't say anything about it.

It was actually very good, fast polite service, good food & wine and an ouzo to say goodbye. In summer you can sit comfortably outside.

At the entrance we weren't exactly told in a friendly way; we should have realized earlier that there were more of us. We should leave the restaurant. Luckily we were lucky in the neighborhood and got a table for 8 people. We've heard that there were often problems with reservations there.

After a long time we were there again at the Greek restaurant. We didn't have a reservation. The employee leafed through his book and leafed through it. Then asked if we could finish dinner in an hour. Affirmed this. Then ordered our food. It also came in a timely manner. Metaxasosse, well, I know something different. But OK. When our plates were cleared by the boss and we wanted to help, we were told without words with hand signals that we should put it on top. So polite is different. Nothing has changed from our last visit to the last. Except that on the penultimate visit the boss dressed one of his employees down in front of the guests. That is not how it works. The rose doesn't tear anything out. And all that time, so many tables were still empty.

Food was really tasty from all four. My meat was fried just a little too well, otherwise everything was great. All women received a rose to say goodbye 🌹.

Unfortunately we weren't even allowed into the restaurant. Our disabled daughter had her assistance dog with her, which she identified as necessary to the staff using an ID card. Nevertheless we were not allowed in. Lucky for us, we were given a very friendly welcome in “Production Area VI” just around the corner and had an excellent meal!!

Some relics from the Corona era still survive here... Separate entrances and exits, hand disinfection and stopping lines... it's not all that bad. Nice ambience and nice service. But why only 2 stars? Unfortunately, my son had a metaxa pan with rice that was totally salty and inedible. I had the 59, unfortunately I can't remember the name, but here too the gyro was totally oversalted... 2 meals and 2 drinks for 50 euros and also inedible, no thanks.

Während eines Reha-Aufenthaltes waren wir drei Mal hier essen. Essen top! Service super! Für Kinder gibt es hinterher ein kleines Eis auf's Haus und für die Eltern einen Ouzo. Außerdem bekommt jede Frau eine Rose. Ein Stern Abzug, da an einem Abend einiges schief gegangen ist. Kann ja mal passieren, waren danach trotzdem noch einmal dort und alles war perfekt. Dieses Restaurant ist absolut zu empfehlen!

Ein ganz tolles Restaurant. Mega Bedienung und super leckeres Essen. Es wird sich um alle total toll gekümmert. Die Kids bekommen ein kostenloses Eis und einen Lolli zum Abschied. Die Omas und auch alle anderen Frauen bekommen eine Rose. Und natürlich darf der Ouzo nicht fehlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!!

Na - Ja !! Obwohl fast der ganze Biergarten frei war, wollte uns der "Kellner/Bedienung" nur einen bestimmten Tisch zuordnen. ? Haben uns dann innen einen Platz gesucht und uns von einem leeren Tisch der Speisekarte bemächtigt und wurden glatt scheinbar vom "Chef" gerügt, ob denn Selbstbedienung sei. ? Das bestellte Essen haben wir in anderen griechischen Lokalen schon besser gegessen - Gyros sind"lala". Ein kleiner, aber netter Werbeeffekt waren Rosen, die dann jede unserer Damen erhalten hat. Fazit: Wenn wir nicht Hunger gehabt hätten, wären wir wieder gegangen.

Ein gutes griechisches Restaurant, mit gehobenen Preisen. Die Beilagen sind leider lieblos und sehr standardmäßig. Es ist gut, aber nichts besonderes. Für die stolzen Preise hätte ich zumindest mehr erwartet. Der Service war sehr gut und nett.
