I just don't understand the good reviews. It's hectic and unfriendly. You somehow don't feel welcome there. The atmosphere is more like a factory. There are so many great Greek restaurants with heart, but this isn't one of them.

After looking for a location where we could celebrate our wedding in January 2026, the positive reviews persuaded us to take a look at the restaurant and try it out. Unfortunately, I have to say that in retrospect I could only understand the good reviews based on the appearance of the place, but nothing more. After we were offered a table for two people, the waiter's first question was: are you paying in cash or with a card? I was really shocked! First of all, I have to be able to see whether and what I might order, not how I am going to pay! Unfortunately, the waiter wasn't exactly friendly or polite, he seemed annoyed and his questions only reached us briefly and in a mumbled manner. The food, fries and turkey steak including salad, were okay. The bread and tzatziki served beforehand really took some getting used to. The bread was so hard that you really couldn't eat it, the tzatziki had no taste. The fries weren't cooked properly and were hard. The turkey steak wasn't cooked all the way through either, unfortunately. The atmosphere is actually really nice, but the lighting is too dim for older people. Reading the menu isn't that easy either. It's a shame, so we'll keep looking for a Greek restaurant where everything is just right. We won't be going back there, though. There are far better restaurants.

Wow! New favorite: Freshly breaded calamari. They even ask you how cooked you like the lamb. Fast service, perfect birthday.

My wife and I also didn't feel welcome. Because of a few raindrops, we had to eat inside. The waiting room was very dark, loud, and hectic. We had just sat down when the waiter came. Without a greeting, here's a menu, what would you like to drink, what would you like to eat? Luckily, I already knew that I was having gyros, but unfortunately my wife didn't. Instead of bringing me an Alsterwasser and an Asperol, he stood at the table in a bad mood and fussy until my wife had decided on baked feta cheese. I would have liked a couple of olives. The answer was, "What's not available here?" Either the whole starter or nothing at all. I would have been happy to pay extra for 5-6 olives, but they weren't available, which was unacceptable. Then our food was brought to us in under 10 minutes. The gyros was okay, well seasoned, the feta cheese was a piece of white rubber carelessly slapped onto the plate. Normally, I would have ordered dessert and a second drink. I've never felt so unwanted as a guest.

We were there with the whole family (7 people), tried a variety of food, and everything was delicious. Everyone was absolutely delighted with the meal. Above all, the service was outstanding, friendly, and very entertaining. We highly recommend it and would come back anytime, if we weren't just there for a weekend getaway.

The service only got three stars...because you didn't get the feeling that you were welcome as a guest...the service was very hectic...You felt compelled to choose quickly, and after you had chosen your drink...you practically had to pick your main course too...and the menu was practically snatched out of your hands....

I've been treated unfriendly several times. I always order for pickup. If it disrupts the process, I understand, but please just stop offering it or even advertise it on the website. And it was during the week, not rush hour on the weekend. I would even understand that. Friendliness costs nothing. But don't treat me like a beggar. Sorry, you can get good gyros elsewhere.

Good value for money, excellent parking, and all outdoor spaces are on the ground floor. A private area for parties can accommodate approximately 20-30 people.

Great atmosphere, large menu, you can eat inside and outside, lots of space inside and still comfortable. You can also order take-away food here, and these portions are also very large. I'd be happy to come back at any time.

We celebrated a birthday with 10 people on Whitsunday evening. Although we were busy, everything went perfectly. Kudos to the well-coordinated team. Everyone enjoyed the food. The next venue for the celebration has already been decided. We'd all love to come back.

For us, this is the best Greek restaurant. The grilled dishes are always generously portioned and very tasty. The suvlaki/pork fillet is always very tender. The bread with the aioli dip is also great. We are always greeted warmly and can always choose how we pay. We have been to countless "Greek" restaurants in the past and remain loyal to Pegasus; it's not worth eating anywhere else. Depending on the day of the week, you may need to make a reservation.

We weren't there for a few years because Corona ruined a lot of things. Now we have tried again and are so happy. The gyros are better than any other I've ever eaten!!! Before that there is bread with a delicious garlic cream and a fresh salad. And the crowning achievement because I believe that our two favorite waiters Sammy and Jorgos or Jorgos and Sammy keep the whole restaurant and the visitors going with their charm and friendliness and have a super sensitive knack for ensuring that the visitors have a pleasant stay and that the food is prepared exactly as desired by the professional chef. Finally a gyro that doesn't look bland under the onions or is mostly fatty and stringy. Nowadays, the Pegasus staff has understood that with inflation it is no longer so easy for some people to go out to eat, but the decision to treat themselves to something does not become a disappointed disaster, but rather a taste experience

The Place could really use some Greek music 🎼 . I didn’t feel this greek energy and flow, the atmosphere was just too sterile :/ The food was ok, unfortunately I can’t say that it was something special. As I do not eat meat I have ordered champions and zucchini, some salad and wine.

I had a lam platter, with grilled paprikas as side dish (this is actually offered as a starter). Very nice skewer, just like the other 3 pieces. Paprika was perfect as well. The place is looking very nice, a very large parking place is available but please mind to use your parking card, valid for free 90 min parking, or risk a fine. Definitely a recommendation, the restaurant as well as the disk. Affordable pricing.

Habe sofort einen Tisch bekommen. Karte kam auch sehr schnell, Aufnahme des Getränke Wunsches. Habe Giros und Calamari bestellt. Vorneweg kam ein kleiner gemischter Salat mit Cocktail Dressing. Eine Scheibe Gurke und ein Stück Tomate, war OK. Salat war frisch, allerdings viele Strunken, wenn auch klein geschnitten. Der obligatorische Korb mit drei kleinen Scheiben Weißbrot und einer sehr fettigen Knoblauchcreme durfte nicht fehlen. Der Hauptgang war übersichtlich. Giros war zu einem kleinen Viertel auf dem Teller, dann ein Salatblatt mit ca 1 guten Esslöffel Tzatziki, fast die Hälfte des Tellers waren mit Rostkartoffeln belegt und dann noch ca.7-8 kleine Calamari Stücke, die sehr weich waren trotz Panade. Und dafür finde ich den Preis schon happig. Kann ich nicht empfehlen. Sorry

Cozy Greek restaurant at the gates of western Hamburg. We like to meet friends here in the evenings and sit together in a cozy atmosphere. There is a rich menu and a very tasty tzatziki. The portions are a pleasant size and no one goes home hungry.

All in all a good, typical Greek. Unfortunately there was only one ouzo at the beginning (that was different). It's a real shame that there are no longer any senior plates. You could also have an appetizer with it. Service could be improved today, even though it wasn't really full at lunchtime.

The food was good and plentiful as always, top staff, but unfortunately the seniors' plates were taken out. So you can't go there anymore.
