★★★★★ Wir waren in der Taverna Italiana in Wasserburg und waren rundum begeistert. Schon beim Ankommen fühlt man sich herzlich willkommen – die Atmosphäre ist angenehm, gemütlich und authentisch italienisch. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und dabei trotzdem unaufdringlich, sodass man sich einfach wohlfühlen konnte. Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend: frisch zubereitet, geschmacklich sehr überzeugend und mit viel Liebe serviert. Man merkt, dass hier Wert auf Qualität und gute Zutaten gelegt wird. Besonders schön fanden wir, dass alles sehr stimmig war – vom ersten Eindruck über die Speisen bis hin zum gesamten Ambiente. Für uns war es ein rundum gelungener Besuch, den wir sehr gerne weiterempfehlen. Wer in Wasserburg ein gutes italienisches Restaurant sucht, ist in der Taverna Italiana bestens aufgehoben. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Die Taverne ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen ist superlecker. Die Pizzen sind wie immer hervorragend.

Sehr freundlicher Kellner, sehr gutes Essen sowohl Pizza als auch Nudeln. Alle Kinder wurden sehr freundlich behandelt. Es gibt zwar keinen Spielplatz in der Nähe, aber da keine Autos in direkter Umgebung fahren, können sich Kinder frei bewegen.

Ursprünglich sind wir mit einer großen Gruppe nur in diesem Restaurant gelandet, weil es dort auch die glutenfreie Pasta gibt. Aber ausnahmslos alle Personen waren dann total begeistert und würden immer wieder dort essen. Die verschiedensten Gerichte, das herzliche Personal, die Einrichtung - uns hat einfach alles überzeugt.

Wir kommen in unseren Urlauben in Wasserburg immer sehr gerne in dieses Restaurant. Ich finde zu dem tollen Essen und dem schönen Ambiente muss das tolle Personal erwähnt werden! Bei unserem letzten Besuch war sehr viel los und das Servicepersonal hatte alle Hände voll zu tun und trotzdem sind wirklich alle unfassbar freundlich gewesen. Das hat den Besuch umso schöner gemacht.

Außergewöhnliches Essen, die Umwelt und das Personal sind sehr professionell, das Essen ist von ausgezeichneter Qualität, die Umgebung ist gemütlich, wenn sie in Wasserburg vorbeikommen, rate ich Ihnen, nicht aufzuhören, es zu versuchen.

Der beste Italiener den ich in Deutschland bisher gefunden habe, ich bin aber schon 65!!

Leider zum wiederholten Male ewig gewartet auf das Essen. Nach dreimaligen Nachfragen mit der Reaktion, dass es gleich käme wurde dann doch festgestellt das es vergessen wurde. Die Tischnachbarn waren später da und früher fertig.. Keine Entschuldigung und keine Geste in diese Richtung. Schade, denn das Essen und das Ambiente ist eigentlich gut und schön! Wir werden so schnell nicht mehr kommen.

Ich hatte eine Pizza mit Oliven und Sardellen, aber ohne Salami bestellt und bekam eine mit Oliven und Salami, aber ohne Sardellen, die schon ziemlich kalt war. Wir bekamen unser Essen nicht zusammen, d.h. während die einen schon langsam fertig waren, bekamen die anderen erst ihr Essen. Ehrlichgesagt habe ich mir von der Taverna Italiana mehr versprochen, das Lokal ist nett eingerichtet, und man kann auch draußen in einem Innenhof sitzen. Schade, aber hier hat das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht gepasst und vom Service wurde auch nicht nachgefragt, ob alles gepasst hat. Wenn wir das nächste Mal Italienisch Essen gehen, dann gehen wir zur Konkurrenz.

Was ist auf einmal hier los. Einmal Pizza ölig, beim nächsten mal Pizza kalt, und heute trotz Reservierung keinen Platz bekommen. Der Stress und die Hektik kommt mittlerweile bei den Gästen an. Wir suchen uns jetzt einen anderen Italiener.

Sehr leckere Pasta gegessen. Von der Sercicekraft bis zum Chef außerordentlich freundlich. Ganz toll und bemerkenswert!

2x hier Essen gewesen, 2x nicht gut. Beim ersten Besuch bestellte ich eine Pizza Diavolo, die leider extrem ölig war, so das sich richtige Seen auf der Pizza gebildet haben. Das hat leider die Pizza geschmacklich zerstört. Beim 2. Besuch bestellte ich Lasagne. Nach langer Wartezeit kam dann die Lasagne, die an den Rändern nach innen gehend schwarz, also extrem verbrannt war. Scheinbar wurde auf die Lasagne nochmal eine Schicht Käse gelegt und erneut erhitzt (vermutlich wegen der Langen Wartezeit), so dass die Lasagne teilweise unter der frischen Käseschicht hart war und durch die Masse an Käse fast ungenießbar. Normalerweise hätte diese Lasagne nicht serviert werden dürfen. Ich kann also die ganzen positiven Kritiken nicht verstehen und werde wohl hier nicht mehr essen gehen.

Speisen sehr guter Geschmack. Qualität und Frische überzeugen. Ambiete in einer Art Gewölbekeller. Familiärer Charakter. Es gibt glutenfreie Pastagerichte im Angebot. Bedienung schnell. PS: das Pannacotta Karamell war ehrlich das Beste, das ich je gegessen habe, da fiel das Teilen mit dem Partner schwer

Einer der besten Italiener die ich kenne! Preis Leistung völlig ok! Und das Essen super lecker! Da fahre ich gerne von München ins schöne Wasserburg, um die Stadt und das gute Restaurant zu genießen!

Vom Weihnachtsmarkt zufälligerweise daran vorbeigekommen und in den Glückstopf gegriffen. Essen hervorragend bei moderate Preise und ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Die Kellner/ in sind echte Italiener die wir in Berlin selten finden😜😄Man sollte unbedingt vorbei kommen

Wir sind vor gut vier Jahren zufällig auf die Taverna gestoßen und waren gleich beim ersten Besuch mehr als positiv überrascht. Mittlerweile sind wir locker einmal pro Monat zu Gast - und wir wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Egal welches Gericht man bestellt, egal ob grad die Hölle los ist oder es etwas ruhiger ist - es schmeckt toll, jedes Mal! Alle im Service sind enorm freundlich - egal ob grad die Hölle los ist oder es etwas ruhiger ist - der Service ist ausgezeichnet, und auf Zack. Das hervorragende Essen, der wunderbare Service und das einmalige Flair in den Räumlichkeiten eines alten Bierkellers, das alles zusammen hat 'leider' ;-) dazu geführt, dass wir selten bis nie anderswo Essen gehen, schon gar nicht italienisch. Für uns war's vor drei Jahren ein superglücklicher Zufall!

We weren't even told that we paid €4 for a few drops of oil. We noticed that a woman paid €10 too much because the chef simply typed in an extra dish! What a disgrace.

We dropped in spontaneously without a reservation. A very warm welcome, excellent ambiance and service, and the food (pizza and spaghetti carbonara) were amazing. I haven't had such good pizza in a long time. It's a shame we don't live nearby.

The taverna is always a wonderful place for an Italian evening. The dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. The daily specials are always worth a look. Sometimes it can take a while to be seen and served. But after a friendly reminder, I've never been ignored. For me, it's simply a little bit "Italian"; Italian warmth with a smile, with passion, and with dishes that are each a poem in their own right! Simply dreamy!

After a wonderful walk through Wasserburg and some contemplative moments on the Sculpture Trail, we found the Taverna Italiana. A wonderful restaurant with select Italian dishes. Super friendly service, a fantastic atmosphere. We'd love to come back.

The best Italian restaurant for miles around, and has been for many years. Make a reservation, always busy. A must-go in Wasserburg, where Gian Luca offers a taste of Italy.

The food is delicious. The service deteriorates with each visit. It's gotten to the point where guests are skipped at their tables and not everyone gets their final drink. The atmosphere inside is uncomfortable, loud, and stuffy. We've felt more comfortable in the past.

Lasagna unseasoned, just tomato sauce, tagiatelle with salmon, no salt and no flavor. Service slow and haphazard. Never again.

A great restaurant with super delicious food! The three of us were waiting, and we had pizza and oyster mushrooms with arugula for starters. We especially enjoyed the fish dishes! ☺️🦐🐙🐟

We've always enjoyed eating here – in the last year, the service and coordination of guests have declined significantly. There are incredibly long waits to order and/or pay. On our last visit, I once again had to stand at the counter with the people waiting to pick up food to order drinks because the waitress never came back to the table. Make sure you have plenty of time.

Whenever I go for Italian food, I always go here – and for good reason! The food is simply amazing (well, wow!), especially the seafood pizza – I get that every time. A crispy base and juicy octopus and mussel topping taste like it just jumped out of the Mediterranean. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff friendly, and the smell from the kitchen makes you happy the moment you walk in. Conclusion: If you love pizza – and seafood even more – you're guaranteed to be full and happy here.

We stopped by for a quick lunch and, thanks to the good reviews, had relatively high expectations. These were met, if not exceeded, in every way. The daily special was varied, and the saffron scallops were truly delicious, the salad was fresh, and the dessert was excellent. Meine Mädels und ich waren unterwegs nach Traunstein und auf dem Weg haben meine Damen Hunger angemeldet. Ein Blick in Tripadvisor was es in der Nähe für Köstlichkeiten gibt, har uns nach Wasserburg ins Taverna Italiana geführt. Parkplatzsuche in der Altstadt von Wasserburg gestaltet sich etwas nervig, aber mit Geduld und Zeit findet man einen Parkplatz. Die Lage des Restaurants ist in einem Innenhof und toll gelegen, eine herzliche Begrüßung und die Auswahl an tollen Plätzen im Innen- und Außenbereich gibt einen guten Eindruck. Die Bedienung (später haben wir festgestellt, es war einer der Chefs - 5 Geschwister leiten die 4 Restaurants der Familie) war schnell am Tisch und hat unsere Getränkewünsche aufgenommen und uns die Karten gebracht. Wir haben uns für eine Pizza Prosciutto (9,-€) mit extra scharfer Salami (2,-€), eine Pizza Diavolo (11,50€) mit extra Sardellen (1,50€) und einmal Rigatoni al Forno (12,50€).....da meine Familie gerne extra viel Tomatensoße auf den Pizzen hat möchte ich auch hier den Aufpreis für diese nicht unterschlagen, pro Pizza fallen hier noch 2,-€ an. Der Geschmack der Pizzen ist hervorragend und man merkt das der Teig 3 Tage ruhen darf, bevor er verarbeitet wird. Gewürze und Zutaten schmeckt man raus und ist auch den Preis wert! Die Rigatoni al Forno sind eine Show, die Nudeln waren wirklich al dente, was wirklich gerade bei überbackenen Nudeln eine Kunst ist, nach meiner Meinung. Die Sauce war nicht überwürzt, Parmesan (frisch gerieben) wurde ohne Anfrage sofort zu den Rigatoni dazu gebracht. Das angefragte Chiliöl (für Pizzen oder Nudeln) ist lecker und schön scharf. Resümee: Lage toll, Restaurant sauber und echt innen einen Besuch wert, Pizzen lecker und Nudeln eine Show.....was will Gast mehr?

Wir (6 Personen) hatten am Pfingstmontag (etwas verspätet) unser Weihnachtsesssen in der Taverna Italiana. Es war von der ersten Gabel bis zum Dessertlöffel ein Hochgenuß. Wir haben drei Stunden gegessen und zwar nur vom Feinsten und waren stets umsorgt vom sehr netten und umsichtigen Chef und seiner Mannschaft, da blieb kein Wunsch offen. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle gerne wieder. :-)

The pizza was okay, let's say edible with a Mediterranean flair – but no revelation. I had enough time to examine it thoroughly, because here you wait. Long. Very long. First for the food, then to pay, and if I'd stayed any longer, they probably would have offered me tomorrow's breakfast. The prices are in the royal category – unfortunately, my taste didn't even notice the price tag. My biggest "highlight"? The epic test of patience when trying to pay. I almost started demanding a tip account with interest. 2 stars: one for the pizza, one for the unintentional meditation class that came with the wait.

Yes, I can only highly recommend it... Very nice staff and the food is great too. In a back yard of the city, relatively quiet. Sometimes people in the street who are a little louder (children). But it has nothing to do with the restaurant.

The food was super delicious. We had Gorgonzola pizza, 9 out of 10 points, just like in Italy. Spaghetti 🍝 The aglio e olio was super tasty. We ordered grilled oyster mushrooms with it, which were good, but the taste of the balsamic vinegar overpowered everything. Great atmosphere, authentic Italian 😊 The first time we had to pay an extra €4 for chili/garlic oil at the table. We didn't like it so much... From what we've seen, the Italian restaurant always seems to be full, so it's best to make a reservation just in case. Service was super nice 😊, but totally overwhelmed. We waited forever to order, and the stress was unfortunately noticeable everywhere. It could be due to a lack of staff, but every table seemed to have its own problems today. Maybe this will help you, and thanks anyway for the lovely evening 😊

Delicious pizza, large portion of pasta. Nice ambience. Unfortunately it's very full and therefore long waiting times. But definitely worth repeating. Visit again, early in the evening. Again great pasta and large portions. Hardly waited. Great!

We had an excellent meal at our last family dinner, the pizzas, pasta and salads were super good. Sometimes you have to wait a little longer, but that's perfectly fine as the store is usually packed and the conditions do what they can.

Went there for the third time today and were a bit disappointed. It took about 25 minutes before we were even asked for our drinks. The mixed salad as a side dish was too vinegary for me personally. My wife ordered fusilli pasta with beef fillet. No fusilli came, but slightly wider spaghetti. When asked, fusilli were also confirmed, even though they weren't. It would have been nice to be asked if another type of pasta would have been okay. My pizza arrived after my wife had already finished her meal. Unfortunately the pizza was only lukewarm and had too many toppings. Too much ham, too much rocket, too much buffalo mozzarella and too many truffles, less would be more here. The pizza also had several, noticeable char marks that I had to remove. And that at a price of over €21. The 3 stars come from the friendly service! I expected more from premium quality food.

I've been a regular customer for years and I've never had better pizza, mussels, etc. anywhere else than I did here. The service is always very friendly and highly professional, even though the restaurant is almost always full. Both speak for themselves and therefore contradict other statements. You want fantastic food in a unique atmosphere - here is my absolute recommendation.

Italians of high standards. The pizzas are really excellent. A cross-section of the other dishes (scaloppine, saltimbocca, mussels, various antipasti) revealed good quality, but nothing exceptional. The Prosecco is recommended! Service was polite and reasonably speedy; However, the restaurant was very full on a Friday evening. A reservation is recommended!

My girlfriend and I spontaneously wanted a pizza late in the evening. We called and we were helped immediately and in a very friendly manner. We only had a short walk and the pizzas were ready for pick up after just 10 minutes. When we arrived we were greeted in a very friendly manner and received the pizzas straight away. The atmosphere was incredibly beautiful and you immediately felt at home. The pizzas were also super tasty and we really enjoyed them. The experience was our best in a long time. My girlfriend and I wanted a pizza at 10:15 p.m. I called them and was told that it wasn't a problem and that the pizzas would be ready for pickup in 10 minutes. When we got there and we saw the pizzeria, we were blown away by the ambience. The employee gave us a warm welcome and handed us the pizzas. She even asked if she should cut the pizzas. Super friendly! Super thin floor and great surface! I love this pizza! I would even go so far as to say it was the best pizza of my life! And at a very good price!
