⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Simply fantastic! We had a wonderful evening at the restaurant and were delighted from beginning to end. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, typically Greek yet modern. The service was attentive, friendly, and always with a smile. The food was the absolute highlight: The appetizers were fresh and flavorful, especially the tzatziki and the grilled peppers. Our main course—tender gyros and perfectly grilled souvlaki—was superbly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The portions were also generous. To finish, we enjoyed a homemade dessert that perfectly rounded off the evening. A restaurant you absolutely must visit! We will definitely be back.

First of all, thank you so much for another wonderful evening. I know the restaurant through my mother, who had her company Christmas party there and raved about it. Since then, we've regularly gone there privately for holidays or just for a casual meal, and it's always a truly delightful experience. The friendly waitstaff, who always have a smile on their faces, and the owner are equally wonderful. :) I can recommend it 1000% and will continue to go there myself with family and friends to enjoy wonderful times. Yesterday, I visited Taverna Dias for the first time with a friend, and we immediately knew: "We'll be back." 🙂 From the warm welcome by the friendly staff member, and the subsequent welcome from the friendly staff member, to the cozy atmosphere, and the delicious food, everything was excellent. The quality of the food and the prices are fair. We were offered an ouzo with the main course, and after the meal, there was a small ice slush and some incredibly delicious dough balls. You can't ask for more. But most of all, I was delighted by the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Great Taverna Dias! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ And now, almost two years later, Taverna Dias has become our regular Greek restaurant. 😊

We came here all the way from Geesthacht because it's by far the best Greek restaurant for miles around. So far, we've only picked up the food, but we've been extremely satisfied with that, too. You're always greeted very warmly, they serve homemade ouzo (and the kind you get in Greece), and you immediately feel the famous Greek hospitality 😍 And the food is perfect; we've never had a complaint before 😋 Even the calamari is homemade and delicious, not those frozen rubber bands you'd buy from the supermarket. The only thing that could be improved is the tzatziki, but that's really just a minor comment 🙂

Wow, I'm thrilled. The homemade bread with herb butter on the side is simply delicious! The olive oil from Crete also goes perfectly with the bread! The food is really good, beautifully presented, and not overly generous (like in some Greek restaurants), but a generous portion that fills you up 🙂 The staff is extremely accommodating, very attentive, and friendly! You're welcome here, they make you feel welcome, and the food is truly delicious! There was also a small dessert on the house. Little dough balls with sesame and caramel, and ice cream with caramel and a lotus cookie. Yummy! It's a shame I'm not from here, otherwise I'd be a regular here from now on! From the ambiance to the delicious food, everything was fantastic. Before our meal, we were given a salad and white bread with homemade butter. As an after-meal treat, we had quark balls and vanilla ice cream on the house. Everything was truly delicious. I'd also like to mention the service. We felt very well looked after and were truly delighted by the very warm and attentive service. It wasn't our first time here, but definitely won't be the last. We definitely recommend it 👍

The service is very friendly and fast, and the food is excellent. The lunch special is very reasonably priced for the quantity and quality, and the Greek bean soup as a lunchtime starter is absolutely delicious! The draft beer is one of the best in Schwarzenbek and the surrounding area.

Nice place, but the service did not do justice to the location

We ordered here for the first time today, and unfortunately, we can't understand the positive reviews. The amount of meat can only be described as meager. Furthermore, the gyro was completely dry and completely overcooked. As if it had been on the spit too long. The tomato rice is simply rice with tomato sauce. The taste is also rather average. It's unacceptable for the price. It's too expensive.

It was a spontaneous decision...and, as it turned out, a very good one. We received a friendly welcome, and then the delicious meal continued. We were led there by the photo of the lukumades (so far, the only Greek restaurant that serves them). We were served bread and a spread beforehand. We ordered the grilled pepperoni, tzatziki, lamb fillet, and the lamb platter. As a welcome from the kitchen, we also received a feta cheese dip, and there was ouzo on ice from the house. The finale was lukumades + a scoop of ice cream with caramel sauce. Everything was very, very delicious, and we will definitely drive the extra 25 km to enjoy Taverna Dias again.

The view was really beautiful. Its a shame that the food was so awful. I had the lamb chops, which tasted like gum. The sides were cold. My friend had dakos (cretan salad) and sorry, but since when are we putting pickles and i think it was parmesan? Unacceptable and i am not even a greek. And the grilled vegetables looked so sad and were drunk in oil. But the biggest disappointment was the boss, who i told that i was really unhappy with the food and instead of talking to me, she was talking to my greek friends in greek because SHE DOESNT WANT TO SPEAK TO ME?! A simple apology would suffice . But silence and a forced dessert doesn't say “sorry”.

A great surprise on the way to the Schleswig-Holstein Cup in Nahe. We stopped spontaneously on our way to the handball match and were rewarded for our decision with excellent service and top-notch food. Highly recommended.

Went for lunch with nine people on Sunday. Although everyone had different dishes, they arrived at the same time. The service was excellent and unobtrusive. The ambiance is what you'd expect from a Greek restaurant. The price for the food was completely justified. We'll definitely be back. 👍🏼

Really delicious food and surprisingly beautifully presented. We've had great meals at many Greek restaurants, but here we were pleasantly surprised, even with the appetizers. The main course was also delicious, and we were very pleased with the little treat at the end, which was also to our taste. The service was very friendly. Some seemed like they hadn't been there long or were in training, but that's not meant to sound negative—I think it's good when you train people. The only thing is that the decor could have a bit more of a "Greek" feel, and perhaps a bit more of the traditional or typical Santorini flair. We will definitely be back. The restaurant is truly an insider tip and worth a visit in Schwarzenbek.

Since I couldn't eat much due to surgery, I tried to order something from the children's menu. This was unkindly rejected and the question as to whether I could get a smaller portion of something else due to my situation was met with incomprehension. We found the way it was handled impossible and therefore we won't be coming back.

After we moved in yesterday If we wanted to have a good meal with the helpers, we went to the Greek restaurant (8:20 p.m.) and we were greeted so politely by the lady and the gentleman The food was very tasty The salad was fresh and crunchy (a rare thing from Hamburg) Main course was really very tasty and nothing was dry or toe everything was perfect and biftiki with the sauce was really 10/10 I love it when there is enough sauce on it and a delicious one too Drinks were all very cool and the Kiba was the right mixture (many people do it wrong 😅) And for dessert we had (we call it shortbread) With homemade caramel sauce and fresh ice cream and with coconut and caramel, it was super tasty and I haven't had anything that good in a long time Oh yes, the ouzo was delicious too 😂 I can only say one thing, no matter which shop I/we have been to in Hamburg, none were as good and polite as this one (just arrived in Schwarzenbek and welcomed so well So for 4 people and good portions (colleague is a craftsman and can eat a lot but he left full) With a tip we came to €100 but every cent was worth it Ok, I'll stop writing, everyone who goes there will never regret it

We are happy to order here for delivery. The food is always good and arrives hot. The new online ordering works excellently. But what I criticize and deduct a star for is that there are no allergens named on the menu on the website or in the online portal. The company is an absolute no-go and should be changed immediately.

The food was good and plentiful for the price, but after I left I looked at the receipt and couldn't believe my eyes because they actually charged 7.90 euros for 0.75 liters of tap water. Unfortunately that was the last time for me, I like to spend money on good food but not like this.

We were looking for a place to have lunch nearby and came across this takeaway. The menu is typical and has a large selection. The food was very tasty and plentiful and good price. As a starter there was homemade bread with homemade garlic butter We politely declined the ouzo, but the offer was very nice. But my absolute highlight was that, since we had probably refused the ouzo, we got dessert on the house... a small scoop of vanilla ice cream with Greek honey and finely chopped pistachios and... Above all …. Lokomadas (no idea how to spell it correctly 🥴) I have NEVER seen lokomadas on the menu in a Greek restaurant because they are so laborious to produce... absolutely recommended And a big thank you for the greeting from the kitchen and the attention... eating out is really fun and we'll be happy to come back 👍🫶

We had the pleasure of eating at this wonderful Greek restaurant today. The staff was extremely friendly and the ambience was typically Greek and very welcoming. The food, especially the lamb fillet and chicken breast with Metaxa sauce, was tender and perfectly seasoned - simply delicious! Highly recommended! It's a shame we can't take the restaurant home with us as we were just visiting.

Reserved a week in advance for the covered outdoor area, but the receiving employee noted the indoor area. I said on site that something like that wasn't nice, because if the place had been full we would have had to be seated somewhere else. The answer we received was “don’t worry, we would have managed it somehow”. Well, I reserve so that I can get the place where I want to sit 😉 Service attentive, but sometimes a bit uncoordinated. The boss himself is really great, whether greeting, taking the food order, asking if everything is OK, etc., his interaction with guests, his attitude, top! As always, the food was very tasty, hot and flawless, beautifully presented on the pretty, different colored plates. Prices are reasonable. Table, cutlery and glasses are clean. For me, there aren't enough Mediterranean spices, herbs and garlic in the main courses. You can live with it but unfortunately not with the rice... Totally overcooked or kept warm in the Bain Marie for too long. It's a shame, maybe the kitchen was just having a bad day. Otherwise, 5 stars, next time. It started with the fact that parking spaces around the restaurant were few and far between. It was 29 degrees in the restaurant. There was no response to the request to turn on the air conditioning. The food on the plate was quite clear and the waiter had a commanding tone like in the barracks yard. For me there is no reason to visit this restaurant again.

Unfortunately I have to give a bad review here. You can actually eat very well here. However, what we received a few days ago when ordering out of the house was really bad. The delivery was supposed to take 35 minutes, it took 1 hour.O.K. can happen. But the food was completely cold and soggy. About 40 € for such a delivery is really cheeky. I submitted my complaint directly on the website. Nothing, no reaction? Too bad. But they would never serve such food in the restaurant itself. I'm extremely disappointed. Update 06.2024 We were back at the restaurant a few days ago and tried it again. This time everything was as it should be. Staff very friendly and service-oriented. The food was very tasty and everything was O.K. You'll be happy to come back :-)

Our favorite Greek restaurant that we always enjoy going to. We usually travel spontaneously in large groups and have always received great service. The food is delicious and always enough! And the service is really great, including a round of ouzo.

Service and friendliness are very important here. Our wishes were implemented. I dropped the knife and while I was trying to pick it up, two employees were there. One picked it up for me and the second brought me a new set of cutlery. Yes, we sat in front of the entrance to the kitchen. But that happened so quickly. Hats off. The food was delicious. The meat was tender. The portions were good and just right. At the end we received a very tasty dessert on the house. Every now and then we were asked whether everything was OK. They tried very hard to make it as pleasant as possible for us. The self-proclaimed goals on the website were fully met. We will come back and try out the delivery service.
