The food was very tasty. The Bifteki I had was really very good and also had a nice view of the Oder. You can sit well inside and outside. Cash and card payment is possible.

Typical Greek cuisine in Germany with ouzo and metaxa sauce and huge plates, very meat-heavy - the restaurants in Athens now have a lot more to offer and are much more creative. Service and location are very good, prices in the upper midfield, great terrace with a view of the Oder and Slubice.

Very expensive, chicken soup for 6.90 was brought in a very small portion, literally a few spoons, very liquid. Children's menu for 9.90 - a small piece of chicken, French fries and a salad in the shape of a man. The cappuccino was delicious. There are outdoor seats and highchairs. We won't come again.

Really lousy service!!! Waited 1 hour for the food and nothing came. No questions asked if we would like to drink. Responded very ARROGANTLY when asked. I don't understand where the 4.5 stars on Google come from. Probably reviews from family and friends. Bottom line: really bad place!!!!

The guests of this restaurant cannot read. People park in RESIDENTIAL PARKING LOTS and sidewalks and that is an outrage. There are hardly any parking spaces and the residents pay for them. Thank God we finally have support from the public order office and hopefully the whole thing will come to an end soon when the first vehicles are towed away at the guests' expense. A course where you learn to read would be much cheaper. Just experienced it again today, people draw attention to it because a driver with a LOS can't read license plates, then they just drive one street further and park where the RESIDENT PARKING PASS was also signposted. This reckless behavior that has been going on for years can no longer be tolerated. The residents from the Hanewald.

Taverna Athos is an absolute must visit for anyone who loves and appreciates Greek cuisine! The gyros are a true poem – juicy, tender, spicy and portioned in just the right way. It's classically prepared, just as you'd expect from a good Greek restaurant, and perhaps even a little too filling. But that's part of the Greek charm, right? I would particularly like to highlight the appetizers. The little Greek potatoes in tzatziki are simply heavenly! They are crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside and incredibly delicious. I could fool myself into this! But the other starters are also worth a try. They are all freshly made and full of authentic flavors. The service at Taverna Athos is attentive, friendly and courteous. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands here. And the terrace with a view of the bridge to Slubice is an absolute dream! Here you can sit comfortably on warm summer nights, enjoy the view of the Oder and treat yourself to delicious cocktails or a refreshing Aperol Spritz. Overall, I can highly recommend Taverna Athos. Here you can get authentic Greek food of the best quality at a fair price. Definitely worth a visit!

The service was good, the food OK. But the prices are high. We were there with eight people and we all ate, some with starters. There was an ouzo at the beginning and one in between. We didn't notice anything about "you don't save money with Ouzo". The cheese stuffed steak was quite dry and almost unseasoned. I actually wanted to take a leg of lamb, but at around €26 with beans or zucchini (I hope I'm not mistaken here) I was almost full. We had to go to the counter to pay, there was a tip but no receipt. The ambience is more suitable for a brewery than a Greek restaurant. Which doesn't mean that you can't sit there comfortably.

Since I had a business meeting in Frankfurt/Oder on May 4th, 2024, I visited this restaurant for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the service and the quality of the food. The view over the Oder was also impressive.

I have rarely, if ever, experienced such poor service. Several waiters initially ignored us completely. Then we were served by a grumpy guy. I had to wait a long time for a second water after ordering, even though several waiters were empty and seemed unemployed. In order to be able to take the leftovers with us, we asked them to be packed up. We were given a Styrofoam box to do it ourselves. - Underground.

The best Greek in years and in Frankfurt/Oder of all places! The historic building right on the Oder is a feast for the eyes and also has great Greek cuisine combined with extremely warm service - we were thrilled! All dishes were perfect, the portions were huge and beautifully prepared. We will definitely come back, ideally in summer when you can enjoy the view of the river from the terrace. In itself very nicely rustic designed. The staff is very friendly, the food is very good and sufficient. All in all, the prices are still reasonable. ADDENDUM: Were here for the last time in December 2023. Everything was still fine then. However, now (March 2024) we were very disappointed: the staff and service are still excellent. But the food, which is the real reason for visiting a restaurant, has unfortunately declined significantly. The gyros in particular were almost disgusting. So no matter what you changed in your recipe; please undo it.

Premium! I love this restaurant! Calamari is my favorite! Excellent service from everyone! You can pay by card and there are many tables. If you want to have a good time, come here with your partner, family suitable for children! The only drawback is that parking is limited.

Der var stort set lukket alle steder, men så fandt vi dette sted, havde ikke forventet at spise græsk, i Tyskland/Polen, men sådan blev det. En helt fantastisk lækker frisk grøn salat blev serveret straks, sammen med lidt ouzo, ikke dårligt. Mad og drikke blev leveret fint og hurtigt, super dejlige varme kopper til vores espresso. Maden var glimrende, jeg har dog aldrig før fået pommes frites til moussaka, men man har jo lov til at levne.

A visit is always worthwhile! Our favorite Greek restaurant on the Oder in Frankfurt (Oder). The food is absolutely delicious and plentiful! Also worth mentioning is the starter salad. Insider tip: Baked bifteki! Super friendly service. Always in a good mood and attentive. The location on the Oder is unique. Whether summer or winter! You always have a view of the river. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy and you quickly lose track of time. We took our child there and everything was there... from a high chair to a changing table. Drink prices are slightly increased, but overall very fair prices for what you get! We always like to come! You have to try it.

Great staff. Friendly, quick and accommodating. The food was also great. I don't know anyone nearby who has such authentic Greek cuisine. The price is also reasonable. Only olive oil and vinegar should be on the table with bread then it would be perfect. I'd love to come back.

Es war hier wieder ein sehr schöner Abend. Die Auswahl der Speisen und Getränke war wieder sehr reichlich, so dass man sich schwer entscheiden konnte. Aber jeder hatte sein Lieblingsessen und Getränke gefunden. Die Speisen waren wieder sehr lecker und reichhaltig zubereitet, das Bier hat geschmeckt - wir waren alle sehr zufrieden. Bis bald!

Mein lieblings Grieche. Der Service war dieses Mal wieder sehr gut, das Essen ist super lecker. Auch gab es dieses Mal wieder Ouzo, ausserdem ist das Personal sehr kinderfreundlich.

Ein typisches griechisches Restaurant in dem man alles bekommt was der deutsche Gaumen so beim Griechen gewohnt ist, vom Gyros bis zu den üblichen Grilltellern. Soweit so lecker aber auch so schade da die griechische Küche doch um einiges vielfältiger ist. Kokkinisto, Stifado, Chanakhi und vieles mehr... fehlt einfach um es zu einem Erlebnis zu machen. Dafür und für die doch strammen Preise gibt es einen Stern Abzug. Selbst in München findet man, ja auch noch heute, Tavernen in den man günstiger speist. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und geht auch auf Wünsche ein.

Wir waren spontan hier und kommen auch nicht von hier. Wir haben noch einen Tisch bekommen. Kommen wir zum Essen. Dieses war ok, aber definitiv nix besonderes. Zu wenig gewürzt und leider auch nicht knusprig, wie gewünscht. Das bringt mich zum Service. Unserer Salat wurde vergessen und der Ouzo, den die Kellnerin einschenken wollte und gut über den ganzen Tisch verteilte, wurde nicht einmal abgewischt. Außerdem gibt es leider auch keine Speisekarte in blindenschrift. Positiv ist, dass es ein behinderten wc gibt, welches zwar sehr klein, aber nicht mit Ramsch zugestellt ist wie sonst sehr häufig. Probiert es einfach aus und macht euch selbst ein Bild. Für uns ehr kein Ziel mehr. .

Exzellente Lage direkt an der Oder, großer Außenbereich. Portionen reichlich, zügig serviert. Service freundlich. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!

In Frankfurt (Oder) ein gut besuchtes, sehr schön an der Oder gelegenes Restaurant. In den warmen Monaten kann man das wunderschöne Ambiente draußen an der Oder genießen oder drinnen im ehemaligen Oderspeicher ein bisschen "Urlaub" fühlen. Es schmeckt, großzüge Portionen, es sind der momentanen Entwicklung geschuldet angemessene Preise und man wird von einem zuvorkommenden Personal bedient. Alles in allem empfehlenswert.

Super Lokal mit tollem Essen und tollem Team direkt an der Oder.

Draußen essen ist sehr schön, da man einen hervorragenden Blick auf die Oder hat. Der Innenbereich ist aber auch sehr schön ausgestattet. Die Bedienungen sind sehr nett und arbeiten zügig! Allerdings sind dort leider kaum Parkplätze vorhanden, nur 4 an der Zahl. Da muss man schon ein wenig suchen im Umfeld, um da noch ein Plätzchen zu finden, der nicht für Anwohner ist...

Außerordentlich lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Das lokal liegt direkt an der Oder und hat eine große, schöne Terrasse. Auch der Innenraum ist sehr gemütlich. Die Speisen sind hervorragend und mit Ouzo wird nicht gegeizt. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir haben wirklich lecker gegessen, die Küche ist sehr gut! Es ist immer viel Personal anwesend und auch schnell und das Ambiente ist auch toll. Aber bei größeren Gruppen wird hier systematisch am Ende eines schönen Abends betrogen! Es stehen 2 Bier mehr auf der Rechnung, als getrunken und serviert wurden. Im letzten Quartal war ich mit verschieden Gruppen (immer 8 bis 12 Personen) in diesem Lokal und jedes mal die selbe Masche. Schade!

Auf eine Empfehlung habe ich heute Abend dieser Taverne ausgesucht. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Essen kam relativ schnell und war ziemlich köstlich.Gyros außen knusprig und innen butterzart. Sehr angenehmer Geschmack nach Knoblauch, nicht zu intensiv. Für circa 30 € gab es Gyros mit einem Spieß und Fritten dazu 3 Getränke.

Wir waren mit 5 Leuten im Athos. Das Ambiente ist großartig und der Service lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Essen wird schön angerichtet und schmeckt super lecker. Definitiv einen Besuch wert !

Wir können die diversen schlechteren Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Alles war bestens, vom Empfang, Tisch, Essen und Trinken. Das Team war professionell und eingespielt, alles war schnell auf dem Tisch. Gerne wieder!

Zwei Jahre habe ich das Athos wegen dem grottenschlechten, nur aus fettem Fleisch bestehenden und faden Gyros gemieden. Nun habe ich es mal wieder versucht und muss sagen, dass ich sehr positiv überrascht wurde. Alles auf meiner Platte hat geschmeckt, auch das Gyros. Nichts blieb auf meinem Teller übrig. Dazu gab es Ouzo bis zum Abwinken aufs Haus. Ein genialer Abend. Wenn es so bleibt, komme ich bestimmt nicht erst in zwei Jahren wieder ins Athos.

Liebes Athos-Team, einfach mal bei Christos im Samos in der Leibnizstraße 56 in 10629 Berlin-Charlottenburg essen gehen und sich eine große Scheibe von Küche und Service abschneiden, dann klappt es auch hoffentlich wieder bei euch. Qualität ist wenn der Kunde wieder kommt und nicht das Essen. Viel Erfolg
