Sehr lange Wartezeit, Service unterbesetzt und gestresst. Mein Schnitzel war Durchschnitt. 1 Std auf die Getränke gewartet und 2 Std auf das Essen. Schade

Tolles mediterranes Restaurant, riesige Speisekarte, Essensqualitaet ist spitze, selten so freundliches und aufmerksame Personal erlebt! Hier wird Gastlichkeit gelebt!!

Das Essen war sehr gut und die Dame im Service, sehr zuvorkommend.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienung freundlich. Die Sterne abzug gibt es aufgrund fehlender Flexibilität was Gastwünsche angeht. Als vegetarische / vegane Person war es leider nicht möglich, von einer Antipastiplatte Käse und Fleisch wegzulassen und anstattdessen nur Gemüse drauf zu geben (was auch noch mehr Gewinn bedeutet hätte bei gleichem Preis). Ein genauer Grund wurde nicht genannt. Das ist doch sehr schade, sollte mal keiner mit am Tisch sitzen, der freiwillig das Fleisch auf isst. Wenn schon wenig vegane Speisen angeboten werden sollte doch soviel Flexibilität vorhanden sein

Das Sitzen draußen im Sommer ist sehr angenehm und hebt die Stimmung. Das Essen ist sehr lecker😋, die Fische sind frisch und professionell zubereitet. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet und die Mitarbeiterin sehr freundlich. ☺️

Es gibt für JEDEM etwas! Egal ob Fisch, Fleisch, Salat, Pizza oder Nudeln, einfach lecker und üppige Portionen! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Der Service war einfach fantastisch! Das Essen hat mich an Griechenland erinnert! Genau das Richtige bei diesem kalten Wetter!

Das Essen war gut. Leider konnte man, wie in der Speisekarte erwähnt, seine eigene Pizza nicht zusammenstellen. Damit war das Personal überfordert. Gegen 20.45 Uhr waren schon alle Stühle hochgestellt und man fühlte sich wie rausgeschmissen.

Ich war nach Jahren mal wieder dort Toll es hat alles gepasst.Ich finde das Angebot an Speisen toll das auch mal was anderes mit angeboten wurde .Bei mir waren es frittierte Sardellen fand ich mega. Und haben auch noch sensationell geschmeckt. Ist vielleicht bißchen speziell aber das die überhaupt auf der Karte stehen Super

Wir gehen jetzt schon mehrere Jahre ab und an hin und immer positive Erfahrungen. Super nettes Personal und tolles Ambiente. Portionen sind groß und perfekt. Ein Tisch wird auch immer für uns gefunden. Super!

Visited here for the very first time today – had been planning to go for ages, but somehow never managed. Walked in without a reservation and voila: got a table. It worked. The service? Magical. Really: magical! The ambiance? Stylish without frills. No minimalist showoff, but simply: just right. Less is more – but here it seems infinitely beautiful. You sit there and think: "Yes, that's how it should be." The food: • Starter: At first I had the wrong expectations, then I got better. A gift from the culinary universe. I would never order it like that – and that's precisely what makes it so brilliant. • Main course: One lamb creation (amazing), one flaki (even more amazing). With fries (classic and crispy) and rice (sensationally underrated). Everything was spot on. • Dessert: Unfortunately, there was no room left. (I curse my stomach. Next time, I'll order dessert first, just to be on the safe side.) A side highlight: I "only" had a shandy, but just looking at the bar made me hungry – so well-stocked that you'd want to take a semester of cocktail courses right away. Summary: We had high expectations and were still pleasantly surprised. Now we have a plan: to systematically work our way through the menu. Thanks for this evening – we'll be back. I promise.

Wer Wert auf gutes Essen und respektvollen Umgang legt, sollte besser woanders essen. Für uns war das der erste und letzte Besuch – aus folgenden Gründen: Die Fischplatte für zwei Personen war mit 64 € überteuert und qualitativ miserabel: Fisch trocken, Beilagen matschig. Auf unsere Reklamation hin wurde uns vom Inhaber persönlich zugesichert, dass wir die Platte nicht bezahlen müssten. Beim Bezahlen wurde dies ignoriert – man verlangte die Hälfte und wurde patzig, als wir unsere Enttäuschung äußerten. Auch andere Gerichte waren weit unter dem Niveau, das wir erwartet hatten. Kritik wurde nicht ernst genommen, sondern abgewiegelt („alle anderen waren zufrieden“, „wir sind das beste Restaurant der Stadt“). Unglaublich selbsherrlich.

The restaurant is more Greek by nature, but also serves pizza and other dishes. There was absolutely nothing to complain about with the food. Everything was delicious and plentiful. Even though the place was relatively busy, the food came quite quickly. The waiters are super friendly and often in the mood for a joke. Very pleasant. The restaurant is lovingly decorated with attention to detail.

I just ordered a vegetarian pizza to take away. When I got home, I realized it was completely watery. So, of course, it didn't taste good. I wonder how it could be so watery. It must have been because of the frozen vegetables.

The food was delicious, except for the gyro, which was a bit dry. The souvlaki was the best I've had in Germany so far; it's pretty close to what you get in Greece! The limoncello was also delicious; it had such a nice fizz on your tongue! I'd be really interested to know what kind it was, but I forgot to ask 😏

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Lippstadt. The food is great - especially the gyros and the pizza, the service has always been top and the shop is very tastefully decorated.

Update after another visit on January 4th, 2025. As always, the food was excellent, the service was incredibly charming and competent. The entire location is very stylishly designed for Christmas and winter, even the outside area. Just a very nice experience Hello dear Lippstadt residents, Hello dear Taverna team, Maybe a little inconspicuous on the outside. But inside there is a great ambience, great service, a very nice and competent team and great cuisine is offered here. The menu is very extensive and offers something for everyone. The food was always first class. Currently a rump steak today, 1x with herb butter, 1x with mushroom cream sauce. That was first class. Kerstin & Arno Grill & Camping Market

Parking spaces available in front of the restaurant, limited selection of dishes, where you don't know whether I'm at the Italian or the Greek, very high, overpriced prices, so that after 4 canelloni for €16.40 I had to order fries again in order to at least be somewhat full was there for the first and last time, sorry, other restaurants can do that better.

Had dinner at Taverna for the first time on Friday, was invited for a birthday, almost everyone ordered something different, everyone enjoyed it, the service was very nice, people go there, you won't regret it

We ate here for the first time today. We had reserved a table outside. We were welcomed very nicely by a young lady (boss?) The drinks came quickly. And the food didn't take long to arrive either. I had rigatano...pork fillet in white wine lemon sauce, with thyme, onions, peppers and feta! It was just fantastic! There was also a delicious salad and a far too large portion of fries. My husband had the gratinated Metaxa Gyros, which he is still raving about 2 hours later 😂 It's not a simple snack bar, which is also reflected in the prices. But the price/performance ratio is definitely right here. We will be back

Ich war heute zum xten mal in der Taverna und habe heute mal die Hotstone Platte bestellt! Es war einfach ein Genuss. Das Fleisch auf der heißen Platte war zart und einfach nur mega .

Es passte alles, Essen war lecker und den Preis wert. Die Bedienung war schnell, aufmerksam und kompetent. Ich verstehe warum ihr bei TripAdvisor so weit oben steht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
