Best Moroccan Restaurant in Germany

We wanted a table for two, and they seated us inside at a tiny dining table, which is for women. However, we refused and insisted on a larger table inside, which they refused. There was no one around at the time, so they moved us outside, which we accepted without complaint. Then we sat outside in the blazing sun and waited for minutes for someone to serve us. No one came out, and we finally just left. Never again!

I got the tangine gamba which was good. I wanted the cous cous chicken but they only serve it on Tuesdays. Wish I knew that beforehand.

Absolutely Fantastic Experience at Tatie Restaurant! If you're in Frankfurt and anywhere near the main rail station, Tatie Restaurant is a must-visit! This cozy Moroccan spot serves fresh, halal food with a side of genuine hospitality. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming—it truly makes the dining experience special. I tried three dishes: the cheeseburger, the Tajine Marocain (the house specialty, which the owner kindly recommended), and the Pinchito Lachs (Salmon). Every single one was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating, so it's perfect no matter the weather. I’ll definitely be coming back every time I’m in Frankfurt! And beat of all, NO alcohol. Highly recommended!

Since I'm only in Frankfurt temporarily and trying locations near my hotel, I decided on "Tatie" today. On the one hand, because it looked inviting from the outside and on the other hand, the menu looked good and the illustrated dishes were an eye-catcher. When I entered I was greeted very friendly by the waitress. I decided on a baguette from the menu, I don't know how "traditional" that is - I certainly didn't regret it. Looking around, I can tell that the small restaurant is clearly arranged and comfortably furnished. Fries were good. Soft drink also included. What I see as the first big plus point with to go is that it comes with mayo and ketchup - which, unfortunately, has become rare. In my opinion, the baguette was really tasty. Everything was fine. Salad, sauce and of course the sausages. I will definitely go there again. Nothing to complain about.

Nicely decorated snack bar. Unfortunately, the food was mercilessly bland. Stewed potatoes, carrots, peas and beans without any seasoning. Rarely have meals been cooked with such a lack of inspiration. The service was spread out in a fun way, friendly but completely lacking in gastronomy talent.

I ordered bread with my dish that I didn't eat and wanted to take home. When I asked at the checkout if they could pack it up for me, they said it had already been thrown in the trash. HOW CAN YOU JUST THROW BREAD AWAY WITHOUT FEELING BAD?? Every restaurant should be able to financially manage to give the customer a plastic bag so that they can give away the uneaten bread. Shame on you, so many people are hungry in the world!!

We ordered food together: grilled calamari with rice and grilled chicken with rice, as well as cheeseburgers and baguettes The calamari was frozen and fried and the portion was ok for small children but not for adults The chicken was ok, but the portion here was mini. Burger and baguette were ok. Only the Haira soup was absolutely great. The prices for the entire package 66 euros is definitely too expensive. 50-55 would be appropriate

If you leave Frankfurt's main train station on foot, you'll practically walk straight to Tatie. The dining room is smaller than expected, but when the weather is good you can sit outside (as long as you don't mind the crowd and traffic). I like the oriental design, someone has put some effort into it. The menu is large and offers a colorful mix of Moroccan dishes and Western influences - you can usually choose between fries and rice as a side dish. Our food tasted delicious and was well seasoned. Unfortunately, our service was rarely available. Price-performance is okay. The desserts disappointed us: expected baklava, found tiramisu. Parking: Either at the main train station or - cheaper - in the Westend car park.

I would give 5 star overall rating for this restaurant. The restaurant is easy to spot as it is just opposite to the FRA Hbf. This is a moderate sized restaurant. The food is yummy and will fill your tummy. Reasonable cost. Card payment is possible. They speaks English. Food got served without much delay. Polite behavior from the staff.

I was in Frankfurt today, I live 90km away. I wanted to eat Arabic food with my family then I discovered this shop with good reviews. I ordered Tajine and Mergez, chicken breast and minced meat baghuette. The Tajin is very small for the price, with 2 olives and half of an egg, not even a whole egg. There were 2 almonds inside and the chicken wasn't a real tagine but was grilled and didn't taste good. Baghuette bread was large and the bread itself tasted good. The meat content is also very little with a lot of salad. When you eat the baghuette, there are many places where you only eat the baghuette and salad. 2 Merguez were only inside. and the price for such a tagine and baghuette is too high. I come from the catering industry myself and this restaurant is a rip-off for me. For that price I could buy a kebab plate with lots of meat at a Turkish restaurant, which would still fill me up. This is the first time and the last time I will eat there. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT! The chairs where you sat are worn out. The color of the toilet door is discolored or too worn and that shouldn't be the case in the catering industry!
